img The being of flame finally began to take action itself. It attacked a player she had learned from prior questioning at Dormont was known as Roland. As Beretta braced herself for some kind of grand attack... she paused in mid bracing to see the firey spirit had just repeated it's previous methods of fighting... to summon more lesser opponents. Beretta squinted her eyes and fixed her gloves again. It could not be the same thing... there was going to be more... and then it came. A food of fire and a steadily rising lava bed.

Beretta had already pulled away from the bridges luckily enough so she had managed to avoid having to run off a bridge at full speed. Still her current position would turn into a pit of lava soon as well. The warning message and a power up came from a unknown ally. Beretta felt the boost and gave a single raised hand in thanks before rushing to zone 9. There was a single minion remaining as she passed it and it seemed weakened. She made a quick dive kick right through it as it dissipated. If this boss continued to summon... it would eventually stall long enough for the volcano to go off. That was probably the intent...

A shower of ice, and water crashed over Roland and company as they began to crowd the crumbling platform designated at zone nine. Though no heals were thrown is way Roland was relieved to feel the flames surrounding him suddenly quenched as the buffet of frozen ice bathed him thanks to @Aporia Calvaros and @Temperance .Turning his gaze he stared down the weakened ember preparing to finish it off when suddenly an unknown member appeared and kicked it off the side and into the lava. Nodding at @Beretta Roland turned flourishing his two blades as he eyed the rest of the group. "I think that's enough water for now!" he called out as he tried to plan his next move. He could see @Stelluna heading his way and with a smile he called, "Handled the front lines and I will focus the front"! With this he moved into position ready to protect everyone nearby him with his dual wielded swords.

More summons, a giant, blazing weapon... Yeah, day had gone pretty bad pretty quick. But Stelluna was never one to back down from a fight, quite the opposite in fact. It would be a tough fight, but she was sure she could do it. She doubted that she could do much damage compared to the others here, especially the ones with ice or water magic so it would be wiser to defend them.

She dashed over to Zone 9, while she didn't have a shield or anything, the spear was versatile enough to be used in blocking, parrying or all sorts of defending tricks. Against magical attacks and foes... It was a little iffy but the enchantments given by the various casters haven't let her down so far. Trying to make a stand alone wouldn't be very effective so she was glad @Roland Rutledge was doing the same. It would be much easier with someone else helping out.

Lucia felt both relief and sadness seeing the creature dying, the last of her knights falling down with it. A burdened breath came from her lips, but she steeled herself. "We are numberless... We are endless... And we are inevitable. They can come back, or I can make more." She murmured, but still the pain of the loss showed on her face. Clenching a fist, she opened her shadow tome once more and with a harsh gesture swept her hand once more. The familiar frigid breeze of the Wraith blade gently wafting carrying with it that invisible blade. Her target was Azogg, ignoring his kindle ember subordinate, it wasn't worth while to claw into the creature at this point when she could just rip through the master himself.

With a sharp swing of her arm she loosed the blade letting it swing, her gestures were as fluid and merciless as always. She maintained her position this time though, not wanting to leave herself open like she did for the other monster. Sending her knights off was something she could do recklessly, but she didn't have them to lean on any more.

Ouch, that was never his best idea at all. Even in this game, he can still feel the pain in his right chest area from his rough landing. It didn't even help that his surprise attack completely missed as he just ended up near another player. Still, at least he wasn't alone in this fight this time, though he had to deal on who he will trust if he tried to avoid his virtual death.

"Verity. I would say the same, but I doubt this would be a good time for some introductions," he said to @Eleanor Loan, which she may see his face while he ignored her altogether. Right now, he was still focused at the summoned dwarf in front of him. "We have to kill that dwarf immediately. If we let him live longer, he will sacrifice himself to-"

Just before he can finish his sentence, he witnessed the dwarf died just as Azog's HP began to increase. The sight of it was enough for Verity to growled in frustration. "Heal the elemental... Dammit..." So much for warning this group early. Now he has to deal with that boss's restored health. "J-Just... Attack the damned dwarf when it appears again!" His voice became threatening as he said this before he tried to walk to the elemental while he held his right side in pain.

Because of his fall from earlier, he has to recover his strength before he can charge in with his sword once more. With no other choice, he used the panel once more so he can chant the same spell from before. "Thunder Burst!" He shouted as he let out another burst of electricity to the fire elemental in front of him.

_____People could be so reckless at times. The support glanced around until she heard a decently loud clunk of metal and saw the girl she tried to help early in need of some help now. Waving her UI around some before casting a single target healing spell on Ursa and smiling if the girl looked back to see who was trying to help. The battle was not looking that good unless someone could either open space for the group or stop the big meany from summoning more to push people off the limited area.

”I just hope that support from air is going to bring some more healers… I really need to improve my magic skills before I go do anything like this… clearly my lesson from the wurm event did not get into my skull enough…”

img Going right from her attack on the Kindling Ember, Beretta rushed towards the boss and made a flying jump kick into his massive frame. These summons had to stop. Finding herself closer to the monster than she would have liked. She began to beat on it's back with a rapid serious of blows... until rocks started to fall out from under her. The agent jumped back and rebraced herself. This battle was likely starting to wear on people. Time was ticking as well. Beretta found that in all honesty, she was just not equipped for this kind of enemy. All the strategy in the world goes out the window when fantasy elements are in play. At least for her build anyway. All the more reason to find a way to fix that problem. Magical enemies were always going to be overly difficult....

Being on fire didn't exactly feel well, no it felt like he was dying, he wanted to scream his head off but he had to keep his cool no matter the odds, his life as well as everyone here and thankfully everyon was working together. he relaxed slightly when Temperance cured him and everyone there. He also didn't have to worry about that creature that he had attacked earlier, luckily a female player named Beretta finished the thing off for him. That was very good now since his energy had restored for one attack he had been saving for but he was still thankful notherless. Looking for the two near each other, He yelled out towards towards the as he gave then a thumbs up "Thanks you two! now I can focus on kicking this thing's ass!"

Looking at the gigantic monster dead ahead of them, it was time to unleash his most powerful attack in his arsenal, The Abyss Cannon. It wouldn't kill the fucker obivously but it would deal a shit ton of damage and he wanted to damage that fucker badly. He yelled at the others in the group to get back before taking his position. Bringing his hand together with his left hand horizontally and his right hand behind the left hand in a vertical position, as he began collecting the magical energies that ran through his body, this process began to cause the ground around him and the other players to shake violently, nearly causing a crater to form around him as he powered up. After powering up for a few minutes, he channeled the excess amount of magical energy he gathered up into his hands before adding the natures of
Malfefimancy and Arcanamancy to it, giving it the already purple energy more vile and wild than before. With his hands begiinng to violetly shake, unable to hold in the power in his hands any longer, Seto released the energy at the gigant monster.

This dark vile purple wave of concentrated dark magical energy was much more larger, wilder and vile in appearance then it's weaker varient, the Abyss Gun. As it took off out of his hands, like before it ripped through the air at incredible speeds, almost to the point Seto couldn't keep track of it. Smashing itself into Azog caused a massive explosion followed by a powerful shockwave. This sent Seto flying back into a piller. When he looked up, for a moment there was a huge hole through Azog, his damm attack ripped right though him, of course he was still alive but that was expected after all right?

Just as before, he found himself warped to a new destination as he instanced in, not even a flutter of his lashes were allowed before he was forced to recomposed himself in the new vicinity. In an instant, everything that had occurred seemed to flash before his azure eyes as it was left up to him now to decide his next course of action. He glowered in response to the heat, the thickness in the air seemed traceable to his homeland - even back then he was never quite the fan of it.

He heard the roar of battle come about a woman, small in stature and gold in hair. He peered just above her, things clearly looked to be in a dire state for her if she continued on this course of set destruction. However, he admired her tenacity as he watched, hopeful, from a small distance. He brought up his interface, quickly rolling to a healing spell as he cast it upon her. Materializing out of nowhere was a haze that glittered with life, imbuing her with a sip of additional life force as he fought for her. He hoped that this northern nudge of her health bar would be enough to keep her up and fighting, regardless of the next attack she would be force to endure if they assailed her in response.

The human looked away from her, his eyes focusing on what had been going on around them to remain from being caught flat-footed. The worst he could do at this point would be to serve as a handicap, endangering h

Last of the enemies has been blown away by @Ursa, who saved her by rocket-punching the Volcanic Maiden to its doom. She approached the collapsed girl, clearly could not take another hit from Azog at this state. "You okay? Stay behind me"

Looks like the others have been finishing up with Azog's lesser mooks and begin attacking the prince of fire. In her group Corvella spotted Gwyn, whom has been raining flurries of arrow to Azog. Everyone else in the group has either exhausted, a support, or weakened from the fighting, bringing Azog to attack this position would be a grave mistake. So instead she repositioned to the sides to place herself between the fiery giant and rest of the group, particularly those who have weakened. She take a firm stance and raised her shield, ready to take any incoming attack.

Ah… the good battle between the King and the Prince, only this story wouldn’t end well when the Prince was a 100-feet tall world-dooming terror bent on stomping on mortals like the ants they are. The ridiculous situation demanded Astor to give himself a nice volcanic spa treatment prior to rejoining the fray.

Just as his body melted into the steamy water, he noticed the familiar feline, @Ilusa Nakhalee that crept up to him and crawled onto his lap where she belonged. Just as he thought he could finally relax with warm water and a soft girl clinging to him, she went ‘there’ peeving him about his deal. Though, it was obvious that he couldn’t open say what the stipulation of the deal was, or the players would have overthrown him and stick his head on a pike. “I’ll send you a voice mail later, now is hardly the time for it.”

Just as the fight intensify, he noticed something crawling toward him, at first glance, it almost looked like the creepy chick from The Ring, fortunately, it was only @Aporia Calvaros who somehow even made found him here of all places. “Where in the hell did you come from? I have to say... impressive servitude! Ask me for a raise next time!” Astor said in jest as he gracefully accepted the bottle of nice and refresh—BLEH! He gagged…

BLERGH!!! Again… “What in the hell, pickle juice?!” Astor exclaimed.

Just as he whipped his head toward the woman, intending on burning a hole through her with his fiery gaze, he felt the pickle juice bottle slipping out of his grasp as Ilusa had a sip… and seemed to like it for reasons he can’t comprehend. He knows for certain they wouldn’t be kissing anytime soon since she’d have that overwhelmingly pickle-taste in her mouth.

While he enjoyed the rest of his time in the makeshift hotspring, he felt a tiny heal from somewhere. When he checked the combat log from his palm menu, he noticed that it was from @Solaria, someone he had had very little interaction with, but had seen her donate to the rebuilding of Astorea. “Thanks!” the King shouted to where he assumed she was running to.

As much as Astor enjoyed the water and the company of his special support, Azog finally assumed an offensive maneuver for the first time. Once he has his javelin in his arm, he pried the volcano open as though he was opening a can of spaghetti, spilling the lava everywhere. Then a tremor sent him and Ilusa out of the hot spring. Holding onto the feline’s hand, Astor turned to the rest of his zone-mates and signaled him with both his gesture and a shout, “Hey, hey, hey, the bridge is going to blow, follow @Seto and get the fuck off the bridge. Quickly head to one of the spires.”

While on the run, he beckoned to Seto and pointed behind him with his head, “Help the straggler, I don’t have the stamina to catch up so I’ll meet you up on the spire,” Astor said.

By the time he got up the hill to where the ascend up the spire originated, Astor noticed a few other people already engaging the Kindling Ember, some kind of strange golden dwarf that he had seen heal Azog earlier. Considering that he wasn’t a raid leader at all and really had no responsibility in telling people what to do, he let the fighting group do whatever they want.

Instead, he approached the slug-looking Pyromancy Archon on his own as he began chanting two frost spells simultaneously as he broke into a dash intending on outmaneuvering it with his double ice blast ready to cast in his palm. The moment he got into melee range, Astor unleashed a torrent ice at the magma slug in front of him, completely freezing it over. Astor quickly finished it off with a hard kick, shattering it into a million pieces.

Two gorilla-looking magma monsters can be seen standing on a small rocky island in the sea of rising lava. They are too far to be attacked by melee DPS... though ranged attacks will connect. You know nothing about these creatures...

These gorillas do not give Azog invulnerability. The next cycle won't be starting for a LONG while.

Gilgamesh had gotten out of the way once the man who seemed to be leading their group told them to clear out for his attack. He watched as the rest fought, but sadly, he did not have time to relish the feeling of being in the thick of the fight since one by one, the various areas were getting submerged by the lava flow caused by the monsters. So, in order to avoid being burned alive, he took his leader's advice and hastened over to zone 9 as fast as his long legs could carry him, and just barely avoided getting vaporized by the lava.

Once in zone 9, he took some time to calm himself down and then readied himself to attack Azog, the boss. After getting into his stance, he took a running leap and stabbed at Azog with his twin katars, hoping but not really expecting to do any damage to the towering beast.

Chaos again! Blood and Bloody Ashes there was bleeding chaos everywhere again! The damned big ass freak decided to have a meltdown, and when he jumped from the damned crumbling bridge he got trapped under rubble... AGAIN! He wasn't hurt but he also couldn't get up and assist the others. When he finally got himself out there were a few more dead monsters and the big ugly freak seemed to me on the verge of blowing his top.

Well there was only really one thing for it, blast more lightning tridents at it till it died. "Fuck off you big ass vacancy sign for class with the natural grace of an intoxicated beluga whale! Go back to whatever back-lava pit you rule your circle-jerking fire monkeys from!"

Seeing that the group of people at Zone 7 weren't doing so well, it was probably best to take a little heat off of them. A few of them were brought low by the battle and the support's resources were overtaxed as they were. With Roland helping to defend, her group should be fine taking a few hits. They had a few healers of their own anyways, if the damage was that bad. She would prefer to take Azog down quickly though, the rising lava was a very large concern and though she didn't clearly hear the rumors of what would happen if the battle dragged on too long were worrying. Already at the front, she shifted into a challenging stance, more to attract attention rather than protect herself and struck with her spear. Her blow was meant more to cause a distraction and pain (if the being could even feel it) rather than lasting damage. Hopefully she would be able to redirect its wrath towards her alone, it would sting but she could take a hit or two.
