Just when he thought the fire from Azog and the fall were enough to injure him, the lava tsunami was enough for him to fell on his one knee as the pain began to overwhelm his body. Upon he checked his HP meter, he realized he was down with half of his health. If he kept on attacking without any support, he will die with a possibility of eliminating him from the fight. And there was no way he will let that happen as it may spell doom to the entire group.

For now, he should focus on recovering his health as he turned to @Solaria. "Hey, Solaria. I need some medical attention. I don't know what the penalties when I die, but I'm not the type to know that answer very soon." However, there was still the main problem regarding the lava rising through their feet and he doubted that the spire will protect them from it any longer. With his remaining energy, he used his Breeze Shroud spell in an attempt push the lava away from his group.

But as he did so, he witnessed a player (@Eleanor Loan) somehow rushed in to attack the Prince of Fire. Just a look with his investigation tool was enough to make him worry for her safety. "Hey! If you keep attacking it recklessly, you may end up losing your life!" He wasn't sure if the woman in the hat heard him, but he knew that she will die if she kept this up.

"oh......fuck me......" He looked on in horror as a huge tsunami of fire and lava came straight for them, was this to be the end? he wasn't sure but he knew he still couldn't do anything from getting killed. There was no point in trying to run, there was no, perhaps this was a fitting end for him as it rushed towards their position. Closing his eyes, he only saw blackness as he felt the heat rushing at him. When it crashed into him, it felt like he was melting but than only after a brief moment it was, he opened his eyes as he laid agianst the piller from his last attack, he looked at his hands, they were still there and pinched his cheecks, yeah he was still alive and so was everyone else apparently. He sighed as he got back up on his two legs, he had to contiune his assault on that damm deamon in the distance. Being worn out though he wouldn't be able to fire another Abyss Cannon for quite some time but he could still fire off it's weaker varient, the Abyss Gun.

He took in a few heavy breath's since he was out of breath and injured but that couldn't stop him, not now he refused to give up. Spreading his right leg back, he took the same stance from before, searching deep within him, this time he had to work through the pain trying to find the energy required to fire another shot off, compared to before, energy was scarce to the point he was draining his veins dry of it's energy, it wouldn't be long before he be out of energy If he didn't rest for a bit. This was taking much longer than before. Forming his hands together again behind his back, he collected the energy he could muster out of his body, forming a more faint purple ball from before but in return it was wild like a fire. Combining the natures of Malefimancy and Arcanamancy into his energy again, he spent nearly five more minutes before it was finally finished. Rushing his hands forward, the purple beam ruptured from his hands

    AYBSS GUN!

The smaller purple wave twirled through the air in many flips as it made it's way to Azog until it finally clashed into his chest but unlike the previous times unforunetely, this attack wasn't as strong, it was obivous since his attack looked like as if it had hit a shield instead of Azog directly. He sighed as his arms fell from exhaustion.

The lava that came at them felt far too real, and honestly, her first instinct was to attack it. She knew that slicing the lava wouldn't work, but still had tried- quite comedically, in fact. However, as she got the singed hair out of her eyes, she could see something far more troublesome than the lava rising.

"Sorry, Verity, but...I need to heal Elly!" She called, casting another healing spell. She couldn't let her friend's health keep going down, not with a penalty as it was! There were a number of people in the group to heal, but she could only do so much on her own.

"Please tell me someone else can heal! Fighting the urge to beat this thing up is really, REALLY hard!"

Claire caught sight of @Ozwin Ahab and @Verity nearby working to keep the lava from rising up and drowning them all. Good idea. Claire didn't have any air magic like the two had, but water and ice ought to be useful for this as well.

She conjured a large sphere of icy water in the air and spread it out like a sheet over the lava around them. Steam instantly burst into the air around her, hot enough to scald--which, why was the steam hurting her more than the convection from the lava? Ugh, questions for another time, like when they weren't in danger of being consumed by lava--but she kept at it.

A thin shell of rock formed over the surface but it cracked quickly. Claire grimaced and continued to focus more energy. She didn't know if it was doing anything to slow the rising tide at all, but it had to be better than doing nothing.

Just as the gorillas had been dealt with and help had arrived, and everything came down in the clutch, @Gwyn ap Herne's notorious affinity for animal life brought an unexpected interruption. Leaping down from a high wall of stone above her spire, another magma gorilla appeared and snatched her up in its arms, giving her the Burning condition. It began to run towards the lava at full speed, intent on leaping into the lake with its capture prize.

You have five hours to kill the beast, before it reaches the edge of the spire and leaps into the flames below.

This gorilla does not give Azog invulnerability.

_____Things went more south, now it seemed they would be even more in trouble if they could not get any of these relic pieces to stop the big fire meany. Waving her hands to cast another group heal over her group before approaching the portal carefully. She wanted to help, and most her heal efforts had not been much good for anyone here causing her to think the only real way she could aid them was to bring back the relic.

”I really am weak and dragging everyone down here… I seriously need a training coach to keep on my case to get things done… if only Loki was still around…”

_____Staying near the portal as she sat down to try and recover some of her energy to further support her group, if she was not able to leave she was going to need to start seriously healing her party members before things went further south, or in this case under lava.

    BURNING

The wave of lava kicked up was a mere scattered pain rather than a dangerous and lethal wake left behind by the Prince of Fire, but it burned all the same. Despite all the damages, Gwyn was happy to note that she had missed out on most of it. The various zones had suffered brutal attacks and retribution from the world boss and his summoned minions. In each and every case, the archer had ridden on a furious streak of luck despite how much need she normally had for the blessed relief of a kind support.

When they finally dropped the Large Magma Gorilla, she was tempted to cheer, proud of how quickly they were beginning to lay waste to the various summons as their methods were slowly honing to a finely pointed and lethal sort of rhythm. The smaller one had her reacting with a start, the creature flinging itself a frankly impressive distance. They had a beautiful look to them, but the danger was made quickly apparent as it grabbed @Alphabet Chocolate and attempted to haul her away. It began a mad dash toward the ledge and the archer reacted in a seamless move. She pivoted on her heel with a snarl, longbow rising to take aim.

    Pinning Shot

The first arrow slammed into and out the other side of the hind leg of the beast. Something not made of flesh and bone had little to worry for, however, and it didn't slow it as hoped. Without the stronger pulse of magic giving more of a steel spine to her arrows? It was nothing in the grand scheme of things.

Before she could find herself too distracted by the disappointment, however... her luck ran dry. A second Magma Gorilla slammed down behind her and the landing gave her exactly enough time to look over her shoulder and register its presence. The burning bands of its arms around her torso drew an immediate hiss through her teeth from the searing pain, but the flat of her back being hugged tight to it in a instant as it took off toward the lava was worse. So much fucking worse. The archer desperately struggled in its grasp, but her arms were pinned as if her shot had turned on her instead of the beasts.

Ah that lava was some scary shit. He really, REALLY didn't want to fall in that. He had his pain set to realistic as always after all. Everything else had been terribly realistic, so lava was one he didn't want on that list.

Unfortunately as he continued to maintain his twister he felt it getting weaker. He had never really tried this spell before so this result wasn't too unexpected. He was just unhappy about it. Gah where was that beautiful blue ocean of his, the breeze on his back, the cool water and open sky as far as he could see? He wanted out of this stupid dark and dirty oven.

img Beretta's coat began to burn away and become shredded from the burning flames. Finally the greater spirit was unleashing it's own powers. She heard Astor shout some commands and it looked like there was some badly made preparations for this fight from the Brotherhood. Preparation was extremely important. Why was critical information withheld until now? Of course it was probably for dramatic effect. Game logic, or just a mistake. It could prove costly though now that lava was rising so fast. Beretta's hair blew around in the blazing red haze as she saw people trying to cool the lava.

"If the boss cannot be killed, then preserving ourselves should take priority. Maybe I should stay out of boss fights. Although... it is good physical training. ...Right. Better get to it."

Beretta kept herself from slowing down to think (a bad habit in a crisis), and went to help. Her fighting style was not the best against this creature anyway.

There was just so much to focus on at the moment: Azog, looming in the center of the field; the lava slowly rising around them, tall enough to almost consume even the 100-foot tall elemental; and now-

Ash yelped as the gorilla made of a mish-mash of rock and glowing magma leapt onto their platform and latched onto Alphabet Chocolate. She nearly got flattened but managed to roll out of the way in time- dangerously close to the edge of the spire, in fact. But when she managed to scramble to her feet, she had to lunge out of the way of another gorilla!? Seriously!? The second one grabbed Gwyn and ignited her clothing too, and now there were two gorillas looking to drag some of her teammates into the lava below.

Damn it. Gwyn was one of their main damage dealers, and Alphabet was a healer, which they really looked like they needed right now. They couldn't afford to lose either of them. And since Ash couldn't do anything directly, at least not without being laughably ineffectual, she started casting an offense boosting buff on @Gwyn ap Herne.

Getting splashed by lava was an interesting experience, and by interesting Stelluna meant excruciatingly painful. The silver lining was that the cooling rock would provide some form of protection, at least she hoped so. The fact that it was mostly fire being tossed at them put a damper on that idea. She ignored the pain and looked around, it seemed like the majority of her group was mostly fine, if a bit singed. Sure some people looked pretty bad but considering what just happened, the fact that everyone was alive was nothing short of miraculous. She'd let @Roland Rutledge take the lead with defense this time, despite the fact that she had taken less hits he seemed to be doing better than her. Taking a deep breath, Stelluna composed herself and prepared to support whatever defense they could muster.

After that last attack, he worn out, it during this time he heard people from his group squabbling about the rising lava.....wait rising lava? He looked over the edge and there it was rising. Of course something else to add to the fire, this couldn't just be easy, of course not. After seeing some people run down towards the lava in an attempt to cool, he decided to try and help since he no longer at the moment at the energy to fire off anymore attacks at Azog. Following Beretta, he jumped down the ledge and began helping the others in attempting to cool the lava

"I can't attack Azog right now so this is the best thing I can do for the moment, I know it's not much but I hope I can help stop this damm lava from rising, time to get started."

    BURNING

For a blinding few moments, Gwyn could barely think past the intense heat increased by the closeness of the Magma Gorilla that had set its sights on her. For the first time since the fight began, she was actually in real danger. She could only watch helplessly as her health bar in the corner of her game's user interface slowly but surely trickled down. The ranger could feel her skin burning in a disgusting show of flesh being eaten away by exposure alone. It wasn't even attacking her. The heat of its core and the rough blocks of volcanic stone that made up its more solid portions were enough.

As it charged, she made a moment's contact with @Ashiore Evretto, her eyes peeled open past the pain in time to watch her cast. The familiar feeling of the magic weaving its way into her through her forearms and hands, awaiting the arrows to imbue, washed over her and offered enough revived resistance to bring her struggle back in full. She gave a furious snarl and braced her boots against the moving body of her captor. Her torso twisted painfully and her shoulder complained with a sharp pull before the first arm pulled free. With the space cleared and a bit more room made, she freed the other one.

Gwyn thought for a moment to turn in its powerful arms to sink an arrow through the face of the damned creature, but... Alpha was closer to the edge. The body of the Magma Gorilla was already failing it. Streams of lava dripped from it as it moved and rubble from its sundered natural armor was left behind it like breadcrumbs. She couldn't look herself in the eye if she let @Alphabet Chocolate die because she was overtaken in a moment of selfish self-preservation or blind animal panic. When she worked an arrow free, it was to the other enemy she targeted. The attack was enough to annihilate the danger and free her fellow player. Hopefully the others would manage the same for her. If not, she'd at least die with another added to her headcount and a fellow saved from the same horrific death.

img The lava was not cooling fast enough. Most everyone had gone elsewhere. It appeared to be just her and a few others at this point. Beretta began to sweat. The heat felt real, she remembered a time when she was in a real fire. This game was perfect at emulating it. Funny how hot the lava and smoke was compared to when she hit the fire element. Picking and choosing what to harm her with.

    "........"

Beretta continued her part and was not one to give up in a pinch but it was starting to look grim. Should she despair? No that was not her thing. It was just a game. Beretta would take this as a learning experience if it all went to hell...

Lucia's brow furrowed deeply, things weren't looking good for her team. She couldn't help shaking her head with a great deal of concern. "This isn't going to end well if we can't stop him now." She murmured with a bitter expression, she needed to help put this creature down, but if she was any more reckless she might not be able to survive the aftermath. It took her a bit to consider her options before finally taking a more reserved approach. Sweeping a hand towards the monsterous elemental, she formed a series of hand gestures, ones she hadn't used since becoming a Necromancer. The frosty power of death circulated towards the elemental drawing magical power from it. It would help support Lucia's EN consumption, after firing off so many spells, but at the same time, she knew it would damage the creature that needed that kind of magical essence to survive.
