It was still amazing to her as she stared up at the sign. Yes, she'd been aware the Dalengate was a fairly major hotel in Boston, but it was a lot larger than most hotels she'd seen, even if she hadn't been to many in recent years. Her small stature, which remained less than a foot taller than her online persona, shook ever so slightly as she opened the door. She'd sent a message to the night manager to note her arrival, and went to the desk to do the same. Of course, it was a bit late to be checking into a hotel normally. It was well past eight in the evening, and dinner was likely over with for many people in the area. However, this was a special occasion for the author- she wasn't staying there as a really 'normal' customer. She just happened to make friends with one of the managers of the large hotel online, and had been given the option of staying in his room to lower costs and make things a bit easier. There was some clear anxiety as she waited for him, her single suitcase gripped tightly in one hand until the knuckles turned white. After all, even if she called him a friend, she hadn't met him in reality yet. Plus, the first thing she planned to tell him when they met was that she was angry for his description of himself. Why would someone describe themselves as just looking like a less reliable self in the real world? Surely that was far from true. And if it was, it probably wouldn't matter. After all, what did reliable look like, anyway? @Ozwin Ahab
Ozwin sat in the lobby wearing a hat, sunglasses, and a mischievous smile hidden by a tablet. Harveste sent him a message of her arrival and now her was on the lookout for her. A few people checked in this late due to flights and such but it the number was very easy to manage typically. Very rarely do guests tend to cause trouble here... aside from him but this was his home ground anyway. He eventually saw a shorter woman who looked rather nervous and just a bit out of place due to it. Some confidence would really make her stand out a bit less... but this could be the target of his mischief. He watched as she went to the front desk and... Yes! The front desk worker gestured towards Oz's office! So this was Harveste, eheheheh. To get to the managerial offices one hand to go behind the front desk, down a hall and make a turn to get to a small waiting room and a set of locked doors. It was all for security's sake but it also provided Oz his opportunity to tease Harveste. He waited to go down the hall until Harveste made the turn, to the exasperation of the front desk staff, and then quickly made his way down the carpeted hall. As planned he had adjusted the chairs in the waiting room to all be facing the office doors and he waited for his chance to sneak up on Harveste. When he finally felt confident that Harveste wouldn't discover him, Ozwin removed the sunglasses and hat, sneaked forward... and hugged Harveste from behind like he usually did and rested his head on hers. "Look at you Harveste! You have grown so much since I saw you last, you must be a teenager now! ...Hmm something feels different than usual..." This Oz was a bit different than her normal one, couple inches shorter, a lot frailer, and a very airy expression on his less masculine and more cute face. Right now though, his face had a bit of surprise as he never considered until he hugged her that Harveste would have some curves to her. It was a bit fascinating actually as he gave her side a small squeeze. Definitely not the flat, thin Harveste he was used to. With a serious expression Ozwin mumbled, "Inconceivable... Does Harveste actually have the body of a grown woman..." @Harveste
She jolted slightly as she was startled by a sudden touch, eyes peeking up through brown hair. The words and voice felt familiar overall, making her calm down at least a bit, though still shaking slightly from the anxious adrenaline rush. "I keep telling you I'm an adult, Ozzy." A small pout formed on her face, though she was aware that from behind he wouldn't be able to see it so easily. Although she'd already had some redness on her cheeks, it grew slightly. His randomly squeezing at her sides had surprised her more than the hug had originally, but even more so did his words. "Again, I'm an adult. I just stopped getting taller early!" Breaking free surprisingly easily, she skipped a few feet ahead and spun around, wanting to peek at him. Her eyes, hidden behind somewhat dorky glasses, looked up and down carefully. It was quite weird, really, being at such a closer distance in height. He was still taller, but that didn't surprise her one bit. Weren't most men? In fact, weren't most people in general? "Ah, I shouldn't keep calling you that, should I? I forgot to actually ask your name when I asked to come...We're in person now, so we should use real names, don't you think? Though, having a nifty nickname for you doesn't hurt either. It might just make people mistake me for something I'm not, though, don't you think?" Giggling a bit, she laid her bag down again and held a slender hand to him. "I'm Jaluna Rolik, an author. I look forward to getting along with you during my stay, my friend." She'd debated saying more, such as how he was actually a bit cuter than she expected him to be, but opted not to say a word on the matter. Most men didn't like being called cute, even if she personally saw it as a good thing. "So what was it about you looking 'less reliable'? You seem plenty reliable to me. At the very least, someone unreliable can't tell that much from a hug, can they?"
8:30 pm Thursday Ozwin reached out and shook Harveste's... Jaluna's hand but shook his head. "No hold on there what do you mean that an unreliable person couldn't tell that much from a hug. Rather how could I not tell earlier that you have come curves to you UNTIL I hugged you, I am losing confidence in my pervertedness. Ah right my name... Well, actually Ozzy still fits. My irl name is actually Oz. Oz... Dalengate." It was rare that someone looked so awkward saying their own last name, but with all those politicians and business people for family members, even the fact the building they were standing in had the name on the front of it in obnoxiously huge letters, Ozwin had always felt a bit awkward by the association, particularly since he didn't plan to be anything special himself. Rather he had actually had quite the argument with his relatives a few years ago, mainly his grandfather, when he said he didn't want to go to Harvard like most of the family or any college for that matter. It didn't help that the hefty donation his grandfather made wasn't actually all that necessary for him to get accepted either. He just wanted a simpler life considering how uncomfortable he was with several of his family members as people. Of course over the last few years it seemed his uncle was preparing him to take over the hotel one day, but at least it wasn't anything crazy like politics. "Anyway I will try to make sure you enjoy your stay here Har.. Jaluna. Come on we will take the staff elevator up, it comes out pretty close to my room... and the regular elevators don't actually stop on that floor. Ah and take a look over this while we walk." Oz said handing her a room service menu he purposefully blocked all the prices out on with marker and led her back out through the lobby and down a nearby hall passing by a few employees he exchanged a word of banter with here and there and a few even jokingly praising the young lady's bravery for following Oz anywhere. After traveling up to the 6th floor they stepped out and passed a few more employees with carts filled with comforters and towels, they were finally in front of Oz's room. Oz pulled out a card from his pocket and waved it in front of a sensor before the door unlocked and popped open. "Good it works, surprisingly took me a few minutes to make a key card for my room that didn't also unlock most of the others. Not that i don't trust you mind, just legal things." He handed Jaluna the key card he just used and led her in. Quite frankly, it was more like a small luxury apartment than a hotel room. "Right here is the kitchen, never use it but got the full list of appliances. In here is the sink you can leave your toothbrush at, that door is the toilet and shower, the other door leads to a large bathtub. In through here is the living room, couple couches, tv has cable, and I have subscriptions to most of the streaming services if you get bored when I go back to work here in an hour. That's the balcony right there, and in here is the bedroom. I had someone come in and replace the sheets and comforter a bit ago and it is a king size, have fun with that and I will just sleep on a couch. Another television and you can see the bathtub I mentioned a minute ago through that portal right there sorry about the lack of a door there just tell me if you want to use the tub and I will stay out... Oh and the wifi password is '369DamSheFine', damn doesn't have an 'n' and the d, s, and f are capitalized." Oz turned around and just shrugged his shoulders as if saying that was the tour, "Basically everything, I work from 10 pm to 6 am most days except Tuesday and Saturday. Feel free to hang about and watch tv or go down to the pool or sauna, we got a gym too but I obviously never bother with that. Figure out what you want for dinner yet? I am about to call down there and order the lobster ravioli. And don't bother trying to pay for it, the assistant chefs need the practice and this way they aren't wasting food doing so. Can't have them practicing on actual guests."
The girl could only laugh, smiling. "I didn't have you even on the scale of perversion to begin with, brother dearest. Didn't you make it clear from the beginning I can't be seen as more than a sister anyway? So why would I worry about what you could tell from afar versus up close?" His awkwardness saying his name didn't phase her. It didn't bother her what his name was, as long as she knew what to call him. If Oz happened to still work, it just made her life easier, so she merely smiled in reaction to it. However, because of his timidity that showed even for a moment, she began to worry- and, without thinking, hugged onto his arm somewhat tightly. "Names are simply names. I just want to make sure to call you something that makes sense for the situation, you know?" Taking the blotched out menu, she was beginning to worry quite a bit. She already was getting essentially free room and board since she was sharing the manager's home, but food too? She'd have to protest later though, since she had to focus on following the man and learning the right directions, along with his later tour of what she assumed would better be called an apartment than a hotel room. "Um, I don't mind taking the couch myself. It's wrong to make the host leave their bed. Plus, you work really hard, right? The last thing we want is you hurting your back!" A small pout formed at her lips, eyes suddenly cast down to her feet. "And if you won't accept that, then just share the bed. You said it's a king size, right? I do move around in my sleep, but not so much you'll be kicked out if we share." Feeling a bit more at ease now that she'd said her rather unusual idea, she managed to look up at the man again, still amazed at how little it hurt her neck compared to usual. As he explained why she wasn't going to be paying and seemed to catch she'd be adamant about it, she felt herself internally cringe. Was she really that obvious? Well, then again, she'd opted the idea of sharing a bed was better than letting a man sleep on the couch, it probably wasn't that hard to see the gears turning in concern over doing her share. Staring at the menu again, she felt a rush of embarrassment at her tendency towards struggling with decisions bubbling to the surface. "E-Erm...I like the sound of what you're getting, but I guess it's not much practice for them if we get the same thing. I might ask for a bite of yours though, kay?" A soft chuckle took her from her thoughts before she tried to desperately decide what would fit her needs. Her eyes darted around at first, but she put the menu down rather quickly after noticing one small item. "Oh, nevermind. I'll have the dolma. I rarely see it as an option, so I naturally need to get it when I find it! Also...If I'm not a guest, what am I? Besides your roommate for the weekend. And what are you, for that matter?"
Oi, oi, oi! Don't be bashfully pouting like that while saying we should share the bed, dammit woman! Oz was already having a slight sense of dread that this weekend was going to be tense and exhausting for him. It didn't help that Jaluna was completely ignoring him as a man! It was one thing to trust him, he wasn't some scum to make unwanted advances, it was another thing to suggest them sleeping in the same bed and it not keeping him up all- wait a minute. "Wait you need to wake up before I even get to go to sleep. We won't be using the bed at the same time." That cleaned up matters quiet nicely... for now at least. "Hold on a second and I will call the kitchen, feel free to make yourself at home, you can set your dive equipment up over there on that desk where I keep mine. The router and some Ethernet cords are over there as well." Oz did as he said and ordered their food, though he didn't bother ordering anything to drink since that was basically the only thing he did keep in his kitchen. "If you get thirsty help yourself to the fridge!" Oz called from the living room. "Got a few types of juices, ciders, wines, lagers and such. Few types of loose leaf teas we happen to serve at the hotel too." Oz came back in sipping a sparkling clementine juice. 9:10 pm Thursday Oz helped Harve- Jaluna find places to put her stuff up and kept her as far away from his walk in closet and the black chest in the back of it as possible. After a while their dinner arrived. Setting up dinner on the living room table since it was honestly comfier than the small bar in the kitchen. Oz turned on the cable in his living room for the first time in a while and quickly switched it off of some porn... or more precisely switched it off HBO. Goodness they were getting more sex crazed every year over there... though there was still damn good television. His fingers had quickly turned the tv on to the local news channel and he simply pretended as if the very explicit scene had not just filled up his massive screen and projected intense moaning out of the surround sound. He would lose if he mentioned it. "Well ah... so you wanted to try a bite of my pasta right? Lobster ravioli with a garlic creme sauce, pretty damn good stuff if I say so myself. Say ahhh." Oz said as he cut a piece of ravioli off, dabbed it in the sauce and held a napkin under the fork as he presented it to Jaluna. He laughed a bit as he waited for her to take a bite. "Reminds me of when we first met and stopped at that shop for sweets and exchanged a bit, I was so hungry when I logged out it isn't even funny. Was weird as hell to experience getting drunk to the point of falling asleep in game but being sober when I left now that I remember it." 9:35 pm Thursday Oz ate and joked around with Har- Jaluna for quite a while, making the occasional passing flirt, asking her about her book and even trying and failing to pick her up and sit her on his lap like usual. Eventually though he had to get ready for his shift and walked into his closet and changed while talking to Jaluna. "Someone will be up to grab the dishes in a few minutes, so just leave them on the bar there and open the door when someone knocks. Again feel free to relax, mi casa es tu casa, you have a busy day tomorrow. I even give you permission to use my chamomile bubble bath. If you need anything just call the front desk and ask for me and they will pass you on to my office. Oh and look over that menu and message me what you want for breakfast and what time you want to wake up." Oz stepped out of his closet in an Italian suit that, very obviously if one knew what he looked like normally, was tailored to make his frail frame seem less so. It was a simple and elegant piece of clothing with only a small platinum pin bearing the same crest as the hotel as decoration. He very deliberately pulled a chair to sit in front of the closet door and put his shoes on there, leaving the chair blocking said closet when he was done, but saying nothing. Jaluna could very well not even notice. She would be far more likely to notice the epic struggle at the sink room to force his hair into a presentable side part that almost made him late for work, despite it being a two minute trip. "Have a good night, don't stay up too late. I will see you with breakfast." And Oz left Jaluna alone in his room, free to do as she wished, and hopefully not snoop around.
As she was told where to put some of her things, the girl was quick to hook up her laptop and dive equipment in the right spot, stretching a bit as she laid them down. Whether she was going to bother with the game while on a trip wasn't something she was certain of, though she did think it would be interesting to play in the same room at some point. The man's words kept on rolling, and it took a bit of energy to really keep catching every bit of it. He mentioned a plethora of things found in the fridge, some that interested her and some that she'd probably ignore when she opened it. She couldn't help wondering why he had so much himself, though. Had he restocked because she was coming? [9:10 PM, Thursday] As Oz continued to help her find places for her things, she did happen to notice his rather frantic attempts to keep her from noticing or looking into the closet. Her brain's gears were clearly shifting with curiosity, her and it wasn't long before she blurted out the questions that frazzled her brain. "Is there something wrong with the closet? You seem pretty uneasy about me seeing in there. I won't look, but you should probably remember, when one protests too much they look guilty." Not that there was likely anything for the man to be guilty of, was there? As their dinner was set up and Oz had to swiftly hide what had been on before, Jaluna's gaze was buried into the floor. She took a deep breath, wanting to hide how her pulse had risen ever so slightly from the visual. She was an adult, she'd seen such things before- but it wasn't normal to see them with someone else, at least for her. "Why thank you," She soon murmured, now focused on the meal. As he offered her a bite, she took it off his fork without second thought, perfectly comfortable even though she normally would be embarrassed by it. After that little TV mishap, nothing could bother her so easily, she felt. In fact, she was quick to hold up one of her stuffed vegetables, smiling. "Want to try mine too? I know it's not for everyone, though." Gently smiling, she continued to enjoy the meal. "It really is a lot like that, isn't it? Though it makes me wonder if you're similar drunk here as you are there, now that you mentioned it." It actually hurt a bit, remembering that time at the bar. Oz wasn't a fun drunk- though, at least he wasn't scary, either. [9:35PM, Thursday] The joking and flirting was easily reciprocated, though half the time Jaluna had no realization she was doing it. She was a bit of a natural airhead, light skinship and playful banter being natural as breathing when she was with someone she felt safe around, and even sometimes when it was as tranger (though that was harder, at least a bit). His ability to talk while changing was something she had to give props on later. "I'll make sure to call it in, then," She mused upon the explanation of how breakfast and the like would work. Without thinking, she opted to hug him before he left, a bit tightly and surprisingly from behind. "I know it's not my place to say, but as a friend, I'm saying it anyway. Don't overwork! If you get tired, you should come to bed quickly. It'd be bad if you got sick from the stress." Waving as he left, she kept herself busy by lurking the room and waiting for the person who needed to pick up their dishes. Without thinking, she opted to help rinse some of the reusable ones off, which would likely get her scolded later. She looked at the closet that had caught her attention earlier, but opted to avoid it, at least for now. Hopefully, Oz would entrust the secrets within later. If not, well, she could decide later if she wanted to take the risk. Curiosity killed the cat, but loneliness killed the rabbit. Which one would kill her first if she went for it, she wondered.
Oz’s spine went stiff at the woman’s mention of his closet, “Oh uh…” How would one explain that box… Well he knew how he had explained its contents to other women before but he and Jaluna were not in that sort of relationship. “It’s… uhh… just some rather embarrassing things really.” Well not really embarrassing, just awkward to explain to a young woman he had no immediate intentions towards. At dinner, he took a bite of Jaluna’s food… hmm yup that was indeed vegetables. And then she hit about what sort of drunk he was… “Yeah… Rather similar…” Oz was more than aware that he was quite was more than aware that he was quite depressing when he got drunk. It was one of many reasons he avoided family gatherings… which typically weren't really family based at all as opposed to charity galas… 9:58 PM, Thursday Oz was rather surprised by the sudden hug from behind as he was leaving the door, and smirked at the warning not to overwork. “The helmsman can’t simply retire because he feels a bit sleepy, but don’t you worry about me, I have been doing this for years. I have only ‘overworked’ myself a couple times and it couldn’t be helped… Instead you should be getting to sleep soon, you have an early day tomorrow… And if you don’t wake up on my first attempt you might regret it huehuehue.” In other words Oz was planning on using any resistance to tease her so she should really get some shuteye. He turned around to give Jaluna a tight squeeze back, “Sleep well and I will see you in the morning.” Of course when he turned back around the employee who was coming for the dishes was smiling stupidly and smugly at them. “Wh-What are you staring at?” “Nothing at all helmsman, by the way in... thirty seconds you will be late. Not that your Uncle wouldn’t be… understanding in this case,” the worker said grinning broadly and looking between the man and woman. Oz rather wanted to knock the man’s teeth out but he was already running down the staff stairwell. “Boss is leaving you in his room alone… that’s a new one for him,” the dishwasher said quite noisily. “Also made you a key… ah don’t mind me” Quickly gathering the dishes to be taken back down to the kitchen Jaluna was left alone. 6:14 AM, Friday Oz yawned as he walked into the kitchen to retrieve breakfast, and after fending off invasive questions from the staff. Carried the food to the elevator and brought it to the room. Preparing the table and setting up quite the spread of side plates such as apple fritters, a few types of crepes, some fresh fruit, and a couple flavors of donuts in addition to their own orders. Nosey idiots… There was no way they could eat this much. After setting up the table, Oz walked into the bedroom and looked at the clock. 6:32 AM Friday … So it said. He walked over and took a look at Jaluna’s sleeping face. How peaceful… “Well better keep on with what I promised. A hug was it?” Oz sat down on the side of the bed and gently slipped his arms under Jaluna’s back and hugged her , “Jaluna…” Oz said softly not really trying to wake her up with as much effort as he should have… before laying her back down… did she stir just then… still he did as asked and as promised, now he was free to tease her a bit to wake her up. Moving the covers Oz saw what the woman used as nightwear and gently but quickly exposed her stomach. Brushing his fingers lightly around her navel, Oz leaned down, pressed his lips against her exposed stomach… and began blowing a long, loud ass raspberry and causing her stomach to vibrate and tickle with it, until Jaluna woke up and either begged or forced him to stop. He had woken up his little siblings giggling madly doing this many times in the past and felt like it would be equally enjoyable to tease Jaluna in such a fashion. After he had his fun and suffered any retribution or lecturing this rude awakening might have incited, he sat down to enjoy breakfast with her… Well honestly for him all his meal times were shifted over by one, lunch for breakfast, dinner for lunch, and breakfast for dinner, but that didn’t really matter. Pouring some syrup on a piece of french toast after enjoying a few bites of his steak and eggs benedict, Oz decided to ask after Jaluna’s plans for the day. “I will probably go to sleep after I glance over the news and not wake up until about three or four this afternoon maybe later, so feel free to hang out, order some lunch or have fun if you get done before then.” Despite the almost professional tone, Oz himself looked rather sloppy at the moment, still wearing his suit, minus the jacket. His shirt was unbuttoned displaying the tshirt underneath, his shoes kicked across the room near the door, his socks next to them, his pant legs folded up a bit and his feet tucked under the couch cushion Jaluna sat on while he lazed over the rest of the couch. He had a glass bottle in his hand with sparkling cider in it (non-alcoholic for a change) but he didn’t bother using a glass after uncorking the lid. After taking a long refreshing sip he offered the bottle towards Jaluna with a yawn, not really even asking if she wanted any. “Also, if I am not up after four, feel free to wake me up in whatever fashion you wish,” Oz said with a playful grin. “After all we need to make the most of our playtime together.”
Upon hearing what was hidden was an embarrassing secret, Jaluna opted not to pry further, not wanting to make her host uncomfortable. Instead, she smiled soundly, thankful he'd even tell her that much. She may not know why he was embarrassed by it, but he was willing to admit to it. That was always a good sign, wasn't it? "I'm the type who can't get drunk, since I just get instant hangovers basically...So seeing it was kind of interesting. I'm actually not good with people who are drunk normally. I have some...issues." Having issues was putting it lightly. But, she didn't want to delve further, lest he find out her inner anxieties and worry for it. "You may have been depressive, but in a way, it was kind of cute. Your love for your family was very clear from it. I enjoyed that part." [10:00PM, Thursday] His analogy of a helmsman reminded her of the game, but his chuckle had been far more interesting even then. Somehow, she felt a touch of nervousness frivolously chill her blood, his words feeling like both a taunt and a tease, a mixture she never could quite grasp in her head. Too timid to actually ask his intent, she dropped the topic. She'd ask later, if not finding out from experience later. The employee joining in on the use of 'helmsman' made her wonder if she was just unaware of the use of titles in the hospitality business (which, albeit, she probably was). As the man was noting the surprise he felt about Oz's behavior, she smiled gently. "Perhaps it's because we're friends. I'd hope that a friend could trust me, at least. Though my understanding apparently can't be. Isn't helmsman only a term used on ships?" Well, not that it mattered much. If it made Oz happy, it was probably fine. [6:32AM, Friday] The hug had managed to stir her, but apparently not enough. By the time she was opening her eyes, she felt something ticklish at her waist, face turning scarlet first thing in the morning as she tried to hold back a bountiful belly laugh, giggles creeping out of her sleepy lips like a stampede. "T-That tickles! Ozzy, quit it!" Her words were dotted with laughter as she managed to sit up without throwing him off, really, opting to hug him as she did so. She hid her head into his shoulder, not wanting her face seen as awkward as it likely looked. "Morning. Thanks for waking me...Even if that was an unusual method." Letting go, she followed him soon after to start the morning meal. Not usually one to eat much when she woke up, the rather large array of food made her a mixture of impressed and queasy, but she hid it well enough as she merely took a small plate of food for herself- a little bit of everything, but an overall small portion. She ate a lot normally, but never in the morning! Her small bites were a bit like a rabbit's nibbles, discomfort thrown to the wind when she enjoyed the flavors that touched her tongue, one at a time. "I never eat quite this well, especially not for breakfast. I almost feel bad." Almost was the operative term. Technically, this was the job of a hotel's staff- but since she wasn't exactly a 'guest', did it really mean it was their job this time? "Well...I'll probably be leaving around eight, and be back around two or three depending on navigating the area. I'll do my best not to wake you until you said, so make sure you get a good rest, okay?" When offered the bottle of cider, she took a small swig as he had, seeing that if he wasn't worried about sharing that way, she wouldn't either. Sure, she read a lot of manga and was internally embarrassed, but Jaluna was also the type who liked to share like that anyway. "Mm, this is good. I'll have to look for the brand next time I go to the store." She took a mental note of it, since she hadn't her notepad available yet. She'd write it down properly when she finished eating. "Just be careful you don't share like this with all the girls, kay? I can't guarantee they won't take it the wrong way. I'm used to sharing mouth to mouth like this, since I've done it since I was a kid. Others might think you have an interest in them or something. You ought to know, girls thinking they have a chance with a nice guy like you can make them all kinds of nutty, hm?"
6:32AM, Friday Hmm part of this was not thought all the way through. Oz realized this as Jaluna began to sit up and hug his head. If he had paid more attention when he flipped the covers off, he would had noticed that rather than the pjs or short and shirts combo he had assumed of this young woman's personality, she was wearing a nightdress which had been disheveled a bit to allow him to perform a proper raspberry. As he had tried to lift his head when Jaluna said to stop and she simultaneously brought him in for a hug, his head had slipped under the nightgown and his face was quite in her nice, soft, warm… no focus. It seemed Jaluna was still a bit tired as she buried her head in his shoulder… well shit. As she sleepily thanked him for waking her up, Oz was trying to figure out what to do with his hands and how to get Jaluna’s nightgown back on her before she… realized that his head had her nightgown over it and that he had basically pulled her clothes off… yeah that wasn't happening. Better just go ahead and apologize “Umm Jaluna,” Oz began with a slight muffle from the fabric over his head, “sorry, my fault, but we seem to have had a minor wardrobe mishap. Though I have to say it is rather cute nightwear.” After they got that cleared up Oz would send Jaluna on to breakfast ahead of him and wait a minute or two before standing up to join her. After he had broken through a bit of an awkward stretch and began conversing as if nothing had happened, Oz waved off Jaluna’s concern. “The smartasses down in the kitchen gave us a whole lot more than what I asked for. Just think of it like someone else probably cancelled their breakfast because they had to leave earlier than expected or something and we are getting the spares” It was a partial truth, which was best in this situation. When his casual act of sharing was brought up, Oz was a bit confused. He personally had not read or seen much in the way of anime or manga. Or much media for that matter aside from the occasional book or documentary. “Take it the wrong way? Most I have ever had brought up were health questions like if I backwash or such, I don't by the way.” Oz then smirked mischievously at Jaluna, “Rather you are the only person who I know who throws the phrase nice guy around when it comes to me. Don’t misunderstand there are quite a few people who will go on record of me being nice, attractive, fun and a guy, but not a one of them will let me within a dozen yards of female family members. Even among my female friends… and not so much friends, I am considered a fantastic fling but not suitable for anything long term… or exclusive…” Oz himself was inclined to believe the majority on this one, plus he was really, really bad at the monogamy thing. That was one reason he had been excited about Harveste coming over, was to have nice platonic fun with a female friend he had made, not expecting the Jaluna behind the adorable chibi to cause him so much strain. Teasing to get his mind off that train of thought, “Rather are you sure you are not a bit nutty about me yourself to insist I am such a catch? You should really be careful or ‘I’ might get the wrong idea hearing such compliments from a cute girl.” Oz took the bottle of cider back and took a large drink of it after finishing his steak. “Woof I am feeling rather full, I think i will catch up on the news later and just head on to bed. How about when you get back and I am up we go looking around at anything that interests you. Make a list of the sort of things you want to see here in Boston before you get me up. Libraries, piers, fairs, or malls, just write out a list and I will give you a good tour. Anything we don’t have time for today, we can see tomorrow… we will have more time since I don’t work tomorrow, we can get dressed up and hit the town in proper fashion.” Oz yawned as he stood up and ruffled Jaluna’s hair on the way to the bedroom. “Better start getting ready, by the way, it is already past seven. I expect you to tell me all about the event later.” And he soon nodded off in the bed. 4:04 PM, Friday The slim figure of Oz appeared quite a mess as he laid in the bed. He had attempted to wear pajamas for the first time in a very long time to bed, but it just turns out he wasn’t really comfortable doing so. In his sleep he had managed, to kick off his pajama pants and pull off the shirt, tossed the covers everywhere doing so, and pulled the alarm clock from the wall without coming close to actually waking up. He had also managed to get up and eat another one of those crepes and come back to bed without waking up, the only real sign of which was the cream around his mouth. He laid there on the bed with designer sheets wearing only some comfortably loose boxers, a stupid grin, and his formerly neat hair in remarkably thick and messy curls about his head. Something Oz had not warned Jaluna to be careful of when he told her to wake him up (because he wasn’t quite aware of it himself) was that he was very handsy when he was asleep, something that had caused misunderstandings, awkward moments, and more misunderstandings for a number of people who knew him.
[6:34AM, Friday] Embarrassed when she woke up more clearly from his words, the girl scrambled to fix her gown- which, in reality, was just an oversized t-shirt that happened to work well as one, given to her by a relative. When he was gone, she was rather swift changing into proper clothes- or at least something a lot less awkward. She normally wouldn't care if she was seen if she were home, but this was his home, not her's. That, and he seemed to note it for a reason. Surely it was best to be a bit more careful in the future! Taking a bit of breakfast with a smile, she was rather amused by the kitchen staff's overzealous work. "I don't see what the concern is. At the least, it's tasty, so I only feel bad whoever was supposed to get it didn't get to enjoy it. But I'll happily enjoy it instead." Another bite, carefully chewed and swallowed. She ate at a fairly moderate pace, never switching what on her plate she ate until one piece of her meal was complete. "Though now I want to know what you ordered." He told her what most people asked him, and it left her a bit confused. She hadn't heard one of those terms before, and considering he noted it had to do with medical questions usually, she paused a good few moments before reacting at all. What could he have meant? "I'm not sure why you get asked medical things a lot, but now I have one for you. What's backwash imply? I'm ashamed not to know it as a lover of words." Giggling, she listened to his own reason for thinking it possible he could take something she said or did the wrong way. Her face was tinted lightly by the thought and his explanation of it, details swimming in her mind. "While I'll very well accept being thought a nut, I don't think I'm wrong in thinking you're nice. Maybe other people are just stupid and haven't realized it. Though..." With a smirk, she gave a cautiously worded flirtation. "If you did get the wrong idea, I probably wouldn't mind it. Not many girls would, I bet." Relaxing against her chair, she continued and finished eating fairly quietly after her attempts at being coy. Her words had been honest, though very awkwardly stated, even when she tried her best to do so. There was a bit of internal backlash in her head, but she easily ignored it and kept to her tasty meal. "Can I just write 'Oz's favorite places' on the list to start? I think I'd rather like that." Still, she made sure to take note of it in her mind to write the list. There were a few things he mentioned that she'd surely enjoy- but her note was going to be at the top, for sure. [4:05PM, Friday] She'd been 'home' for about half an hour, having struggled to find her way back to the hotel until she managed to get a ride. She'd spent some time watching a news channel and resting on the couch, keeping it quiet both for her own sanity and her host's rest. As the channel started a new show, she turned the television off, seeing the time. Oz said to wake him up now, hadn't he? Wandering into the bedroom, she took a sneak peek at the man that laid rather disheveled and uncovered. "His sleeping habits are like mine..." She tried not to laugh, but found it difficult. Her mind wandered, a smile on her face as she crawled onto the bed and shook his shoulder lightly. The closer she'd gotten, however, the more she could notice things, such as the cream on his lip, which she stole with a finger, grinning as she licked it off. She also noticed the fairly frail definition of his body, and the rather goofy grin he wore, which entertained her. "Oh Oz, you should probably wake up before I begin to think you're sleeping beauty. Or, rather, her counterpart." Her words had been said jokingly, the cream she'd stolen still mildly tasted by her tongue. "Really, he's quite the sleeper, though. I wonder how I can get him up...It'd be bad if I can't and he ends up late for work..."
[6:34 AM, Friday] “Mmmmm rather than medical, hygiene would be a better term. I have never been sure if it is slang or not but you are the first American I have ever met who didn’t know the term. In general backwash is liquid the moves backwards, like that from a ship’s passing. In this case it is the drink that flows from the mouth back into the bottle, usually the concern is saliva and germs. Is that why it can be flirty? Exchanging saliva? Rather a less fun way to do so but that idea is also rather adorable. Oh and I ordered the steak and eggs benedict along with some buttered toast, though instead of buttered toast...” he gestured to everything that neither of them had asked for. “Not that I am really complaining.” Ozwin grinned quite broadly and teasingly at Jalunna, in spite of his ongoing efforts, on his way back to the bedroom. “Really there you go at it again, ‘not many girls would’, that is a rather cute attempt of hiding your personal embarrassment. Keep that sort of thing going and I won’t be able to show restraint for very much longer Jaluna.” He wasn’t kidding, it was growing increasingly difficult not to make a move on the Jaluna with all this adorableness and flirting of hers. As he was about to go through the door, “If you want you can put my favorite places on there though several I wouldn’t take you to until tomorrow. “ [4:05 PM, Friday] Oz’s hand grabbed out in search of whatever had touched his face until it found Jaluna’s arm. At first his grip was tight but, perhaps because he somehow recognized the thinness of a woman’s arm, his grip loosened though remained firm as he pulled Jaluna beside him. His body began to roll over and his other arm found Jaluna’s waist which was pulled closer to his as he pinned her beneath him, the first hand pulling Jaluna’s arm above her head as he laid on top of her and the other hand moving from her waist, fingers tracing the shape of her butt cheek and giving it a firm kneed before hooking back behind her leg and begin to pull her leg away from the other one, his cream covered lips pecking and nibbling at her collarbone… Until he suddenly stopped with a snore, and his body relaxed (well almost all of it was relaxed ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) on top of her, his head snuggling up into her chest and the hand that had her arm pinned was now hugging her to him.
[6:34AM, Friday] She laughed nervously. "I thought it was some medical term you were implying by saying people ask you medical things a lot. Personally, I don't see why backwash is such a big deal. If I know someone, there's nothing wrong with sharing directly right? Even if it does get treated as an indirect kiss in some media..." Saying it didn't help her mind, but she let it go pretty quickly, returning to her food. It was a while since she'd eaten this well- outside the night before, that was. However, when he told her she was flirting, she was vacantly surprised. "Perhaps I'm doing it on purpose, perhaps I'm not. I'm not afraid to hide having any interest in you. I'm still human, you know. It's normal for a girl to have at least some interest in a handsome fella like yourself." Her words were honest and simple, a silly grin on her face that slowly turned into a playful smirk. "Or did you think I was an alien?" [4:05PM, Friday] "O-Oz!" She wanted to jump, but wasn't able to easily move as she was pinned down. For such a lanky guy who could barely be seen as proper weight to the chubby woman, he was unusually strong, at least to her. Then again, the rush of blood to her face made most of her extremities feel pretty numb. She felt her eyes squint shut when his lips touched her, a soft whine escaping her from an emotion she couldn't even begin to describe. Half of her was scared, half of her was flattered- but there was something else too, and she couldn't quite place it. But, as she was about to complain more audibly, she noticed a soft snoring. He'd gone limp mostly, though something seemed off with the scenario. "I promised to wake him up, but in this position...What exactly am I supposed to do?" Racking her brain, she wrapped her arms around him. Nothing seemed to come to mind of what to do, but she knew he needed to wake up somehow, and she couldn't trust this wouldn't escalate when he did. After all, did he even know what he'd done? If he woke up atop her, he could think she'd done something to him. With all her strength, she rolled him over, using the first thing that came to mind. Kissing his cheek as a form of apology, she moved her hand to his exposed stomach, gently letting her fingers dance upon it in hopes it would tickle just enough to get his eyes open. "Please wake up, Oz." At this rate, she was stuck with her mind, and was already beginning to fear herself as to what she might do. "Man he's lucky I'm a total wuss."
[4:12 PM, Friday] Oz woke up to Jaluna calling for him to wake up and stroking his stomach. He looked down to find the pajamas he had on were missing and his little friend was up and awake. “Uhm Jaluna, why am I?... You know what, I feel like I would lose if I asked. Also for future reference you can be rougher when waking me up in the future, miraculous that you did manage it by patting my stomach.” Oz glanced at where the alarm clock had been before searching around for his phone. “Well if I get ready really quick we will still have a good four hours to enjoy some stuff before I need to come back.” Oz hopped up from the bed and turned his body away from Jaluna as his little buddy was still saluting for some unknown reason. He walked through the tub room towards the sink room before pausing, “Also I gotta ask... how did you get cream on the side of your neck?” [4:31 PM, Friday] Oz looked at the list and sighed as they got into the cab. “I know I said you could request my favorite places but still… Fine, take us to the aquarium.” Oz said to the cabbie. “You better tell me which of these things we are going to next, got it?… though do you have anything you don’t mind getting wet for tomorrow? I was thinking about taking you out to see the marine sanctuary and have dinner on a little sloop and sailing around the bay just the two of us in the evening, pig out on some shellfish and go out far enough to where we can start to see the stars and enjoy the city skyline. Rather does that book thing of yours go into Sunday as well? If not we can goof around out there for a while, anchor and enjoy some wine. If you are up to it that is, I suggest it because after my shift tonight I have no work until Sunday night.” At a redlight the cabbie turned around and said, “Hell if she ain’t up for it I know a me that loves lobster and wine.” [4:57 PM, Friday] Upon reaching the aquarium rather than going straight in Oz took Jaluna to the other side and picked up tickets that also got them to watch a 30 minute imax documentary. “The hotel partners up with a lot of local businesses to give discounts for our guests. Not to mention that I have a season pass, plus you need to see this feature on fin whales.” Oz spent the time after the feature ended pulling Jaluna around to see his favorite exhibits which mostly consisted of the larger predators the aquarium hosted while listing off numerous marine life facts. Though he didn’t say it directly one probably wouldn’t be surprised if he admitted he visited the aquarium at least three times a month. After a bit they sat down to have some ice cream, Ozwin having a matcha flavored cup himself, and stared at the orca tank a bit ahead of them, where lots of children were crowding up against the glass. “So it is about 6:20 so after the orca show in a few minutes have you decided on what you want to see next? You are not allowed to cop out on me and say wherever I want to go, say ahh.” Ozwin said as he held his spoon up to Jaluna’s mouth.
[4:12PM, Friday] "You...Don't get guests a lot, do you?" A timid laugh caught in her throat, she moved to wipe the cream he'd pointed out off. Embarrassed still, she licked it off her hand and wandered to follow him, wanting to go to the sink to was off her own saliva more than the remains of what warmth had been kept at her neck. She couldn't quite look him in the eye, however. "Just so you know, you're a very...er...active sleeper." How exactly could she tell him he touched her in some very unusual ways when she'd tried? Oh, right. She could be as blunt as she knew he was used to her being. "When I first tried to wake you, you were already half naked and the moment I even tried to shake you, you managed to pin me down and pass out. Er, there's more, but...I don't really get the cream myself. But it was originally on your mouth, I'll say that much." Staring at her feet, she washed her skin cautiously. Even as she felt the water touch her, the warmth of his lips somehow remained, making it far harder to say a word or look at him. "A-Anyway, I'll leave you to getting dressed, so..." In a flurry, she scurried out of the room, hiding by the couch once more. Hopefully, he wouldn't worry too much about what happened, and she wouldn't either in time. He was half asleep at the time, after all, right? [4:32PM, Friday] She was still struggling a bit to look at him, and kept her eyes in her lap at least half the car ride. "I'm the type who's clumsy, so I only really have clothes that I don't mind getting wet anyway." Internally, she cursed herself- she took a number of things the wrong way in her head, thanks to what had happened earlier. "Um...Probably the library afterwards? I'd like to read about some of the things we see there. And...I'll skip the wine myself. I'm bad with alcohol." 'Bad' was an understatement. She knew for fact it was different in the game, but in reality, she couldn't hold liquor for her life. "I'm like a kid in that...Alcohol just gives me an instant hangover. I do love seafood though...And who can say no to a good meal with even better company, right?" With a soft grin, she felt at least able to look at him as she spoke. Ugh, this anxiety was still killing her! [4:58PM, Friday] "You get a discount, but I'm not a guest you know? Well, technically I'm not...You could've at least let me pay for my ticket." A soft pout on her face, she still ended up enjoying herself a fair bit. Having always liked aquariums, zoos and anywhere else she could watch animals, this was a great place for her to be! The fact they gave new facts to her was a great bonus. Jaluna had joined the kids at one point in staring in awe up close, her height helping her blend in well. When they sat down for ice cream- which, he again seemed to pay for- she puffed her cheeks as he spoke. "I'm really enjoying this, but...You do know that the more you pay for me, the less this feels like a tour and more it feels like you're taking me on a date, right?" Even that didn't stop her from taking his offer to taste his ice cream, though. Licking her lips as she took the bite off his spoon, she let out a satisfied sigh, wiping her mouth with her napkin before taking some of her own to give him some too. Like his, her's was a flavor she rarely got to see, which made her happy. "Well, I still want to go to a library, but for now, I'm focused on the fun here. So...Your turn. If I'm gonna get a taste, you do too, after all. Though I know not everyone likes anko." Red bean ice cream was surprisingly good to her- much like the green tea. "Open wide now. Ahn~"
