  1. With the last slime fell on his hands, Verity sighed in relief that it's over. Though when @Amrita complimented him on his sword skills, he just blushed red as a response. He wasn't very good at it, yet he felt that she might see his potential. Though he did wanted to compliment on her skills with her crossbow since he would be a goner without her help.

Just when he thought he and Amrita are dealing with only the cat girl (@Sharara Gatsu), he also had to deal with a loud-mouth newcomer (@Raudra) as well. Sure, he dealt with his energetic students before, but this was on the whole other level. However, the young man's appearance made it more complicated as he witnessed him being the new target of the wolf. Which means that pulling them out of the fight will be more complicated than he thought he would.

First things first, he had to make an attempt to defuse the argument before it even started, which he turned his eyes on the cat girl and the newcomer. "This is no time for you on determining on who punch a wolf! You need to retreat before that wolf attacks you. I doubt you can able to defeat it with your current skills." He can say the same for himself since he doubted that his sword and his magic would able to stop the wolf.

  2. Great. Another reckless loudmouth. Just what Amrita's day needed. She had to just stop in her path and take a deep breath, turning up to face the sky. Just, great.

Okay, first things first. She turned towards the newcomer first. "Don't you dare," she yelled to @Raudra, putting on her best misbehaving-children voice. "We have enough problems with one wolf, don't bring any more into this."

And really, it was lucky that they only had the one. Didn't wolves normally hunt in packs? Either way, Amrita was counting her blessings. Looked like she'd need to use up all of them to get all these kids through this encounter in one piece.

She then looked towards @Sharara Gatsu. "Like @Verity said, this isn't the time for arguing! None of us can take on a wolf on our own." Looks like the wolf was starting to get up again, better make this quick. "All together we probably have a chance!"

Now, fighting the wolf wasn't her first choice. But it wasn't like they could all just up and leave now that the other two had just caught the wolf's attention. Safer to just get rid of it now. As she took aim with her crossbow, she said to Verity, "Guess you got another chance to practice."

  3. Thwack!

The force of the blow reverberated up Raudra's arm, as he took a quick step back to put himself at a safe distance, while dropping back into his stance. He could still feel the impact on his knuckles. He cast a quick glance at the hand that had struck the wolf, a satisfied smile flashing ever so slightly on his face before disappearing as he pointed his attention back at the wolf.

At @Sharara Gatsu's outburst, Raudra would raise his eyebrows in mock surprise, sarcasm evident in his tone. "Was it really? I honestly couldn't tell. Especially when it almost had your ass for garters."

Flashing a teasing smile and a wink, he'd half turn towards the others (@Amrita, @Verity) as they both scolded him. He'd roll his eyes in obvious mild annoyance at their nagging.

    "Pfft, whatever you say mom's."

His attention would turn back to the wolf who was just starting to get back on it's feet. It's eyes were fixated on him, obviously wanting vengeance for that sick ass punch he'd scored. He'd smile, casually flipping the wolf the bird as it rose to it's full height.

"So uh . . . who want's to swing first?"

  4. Fwwwossh

There was a whistle in those caramel ears, that first imaginable vacuum of sound that encroached upon him as he came to manage his first, surrea. As his consciousness shifted, he found himself awake in a body that had 'always' existed, a doppelganger of his very own in the most unsettling of ways. Azure lenses found themselves drinking from the pastures of his unusual outfit: a turban christened his crowned, kissed with a ruby as red as blood in its center, a veil obscured his mouth and any hints of facial hair, only giving away the slightest suggestion of his nose. A large mantle decorated his shoulders, its shape gave way to a billowing cape that seemed to flow when he took his very first steps. His top, however, seemed unusual as to showed signs of reinforcing by tanned hide, but stopped short of the bottom of his rib cage. Finally, harem pants clung to his waist by the blessings of an odd belt, as high-fashion as the flamboyant ruby on his headpiece.

Before long, as his self-analysis came to a close, the cleric found himself startled by the newfound scenery. Never had imagined, when that VR headset was donned, that things would be so dynamically diverse. Claiming he was shocked was an understatement, even though he had sworn to himself that he had learned all that was necessary from manuals and the tutorial. It took no handle on examination to observe the others around him, diverse players with intricacies to their designs wrought by fevered dedication - what concerned him was any element of pay-to-win: look good and get strong, with enough cash. He shook his head, the thought metaphorically went out his ear as he inhaled sharply through his veil, the fabric vacuuming in as it gave a crisp outline of his lips and nose.

At the completion of a stretch, he found his hand bumping against an unlikely texture. He found himself startled by how turgid it had been, unsure what had mounted onto his back. He reached back to grab a hold of it: it had been a scepter - some semi-divine median of magical focus and projection, blessed with a ruby that mirrored his very own. He extended his arm to full length, his wrist twisting just enough to gauge its weight and the best manner to handle it. However, just outside of his focus he noted a small, blue blob approaching, its trek was slothful as it rolled along the ground lazily with big onyx eyes, outlined with gold. Murad, unfamiliar with what approached, reared his mighty staff back and cracked it forward with an unimaginable might as the jeweled head smacked into it -- POP! He blinked mechanically for a while, letting what he had done sync in: his first kill.

  5. It was disorienting; closing your eyes in one world and opening them in another. Elysian had always wanted this, an escape, and this would be it. She had never experienced a VR game but she had heard you could only truly understand one when you actually played. They were right. As soon as she opened her eyes she found herself in a forest, a harsh but beautiful contrast to her cramped apartment in the middle of New York City. It was breathtaking. She could actually feel the breeze, smell the plants, and hear the wildlife all around her. Never in her wildest dreams did she imagine it could feel this...real, Other than being a bit shorter than her actual self, everything felt normal. That was until the cat ears on her head and the long tail behind her caught her attention. She had almost forgot! They felt foreign but then again like they were always meant to be there.

As for Elysian's attire, she wore a simple white tunic, ripped but fashionable black pants and black combat-styled boots. Around her neck was a bright orange bandana, and orange clips holding back her bangs. Ivory colored hair that matched her cat features was pulled back in a long ponytail and her amber eyes were bright and energetic. Fastened to her back was a light beginner's bow along with a quiver full of arrows, as well as a dagger on her waist. She had never used weapons before but she was sure she would catch on soon enough.

The newcomer started to venture foward as she took everything in. Her head was tilted up, admiring the sunshine filtering through the leaves above. In fact she was so enthralled that she wasn't paying the least bit attention to her path and in an instant smashed into something...or someone. Still not used to this body Ely fell backward right on her butt and let out a grunt. Wincing she glanced up and noticed it was not a tree but a person! Her first encounter! She wasn't sure if he was an NPC or actual player but it didn't matter to her. "Hey! Uh sorry I'm a bit clumsy I just started. Are you okay?"

    @Ruh Murad

  6. Surrechis wasn't exactly sure where she was but wasn't really worried. The forest was vibrant and alive, radiating a calm and welcoming aura. She could hear a lot of activity nearby and it was probably best to get to a village sometimes soon. However, she had been walking for quite a while. It would probably be best to have just a short rest instead of pushing herself too far, there were still all sorts of beasts around. The forest's natural sounds didn't make for any shortage of inspiration as she found a flat rock to sit on and began to play her flute. It never failed to soothe her worries let her truly relax. She didn't play any particular song, just a formless tune that seemed to go with the woodland's natural ambiance. While it wasn't particularly loud, anyone nearby would have a good chance of hearing it. After a while, Surrechis was lost in her own little world of sound.

  7. The bronzed healer recomposed himself, standing to his full height and brushing off his clothing - mainly the tops of his harem pants in the event any residue settled on him from the vanquished slime. He crossed his arms over his chest briefly as he searched for reasoning to his sudden fit of madness: a basest reaction to the unknown in a world void of tangible consequence - so far. In this moment of respite he found his eyes shutting for more than a blink. His head cocked back some, caramel lenses veiling those rich blue pools as he inhaled sharply through his nose. It was so serene, so quiet.

However, in no time he found himself thrown off balance as a collision had been detected. Unprepared, he stumbled forward some as a little frame struck him from behind, the curiously-dressed man managing to catch himself by the graces-and support-of a sturdy tree in front of him. He turned around quickly, his eyes narrowed with an unquenchable determination to right this sudden wrong. Yet, before comprehension became available, that capering wildfire in his heart was pacified by the innocence of her apology. Little time was necessary for him to recompose himself, brushing himself off out of instinct before he looked back to her with a reply. He gestured towards her, leaning forward as an arm seemed to materialize from beneath his alabaster mantle. An open hand was at the end of it, silently awaiting her own as he offered to pull her up from her disheveled state. "Are you OK?" He hadn't bothered to answer her question, more consumed in his concern for her despite how minor any injury could have been. With the majority of his face shrouded, garish eyes would convey emotion as there was a kindness about them that seemed easy to interpret. "If I'd been walking, I'm sure I would have bumped into you, too - there's an awful lot to take in here. Are you new?" He inquired, pulling her up by this point if she'd taken his hand.

    @Elysian

  8. ”You gotta live life to the fullest, never miss any more chances to make something you want happen.”

_____Words spoken to only herself in hushed mumbles as she moved around the forest searching for her newest goal, or old goal that was now back at the top of her list that was finding Stokbon. At first the name of her goal was not known to her, but after her information gathering at Dawngrave she had a direction and a name for it. It only seemed to cost her a few naughty jokes to some travelers to get the information so she felt it was enough to trust. Slowing her pace down as she overheard a flute and followed the sound.

_____What she saw however took the breath from her lungs. Resting atop a stone of grey was that of a girl clad in a dark dress, the tone of her flute did not seem to match the forest in Kaedé's ears but filled with some deep hidden sorrow. She rubbed her eyes in disbelief for a few moments before she approached quietly, she didn't want to scare the girl away as she approached from behind. With every step she felt her urge to hug the girl rise but as she got behind her all she could, was reach her hand out and rub the girl’s head lightly.

”I’m sorry if I startled you… but mind if I sit and listen to you play, I'll pet your head as a reward, and if you get tired you can lean on my shoulder or use me as a pillow… I just… not used to seeing someone dress so dark yet look so young…”

_____Kaedé would try to meet the eyes of the girl searching for any more hints her intuition might be correct and this girl could use someone to support her through something. One thing that likely would set the girl off however was the fact that unless she moved away from Kaedé she would top stop the light rustling of the girl’s hair while her other hand supported her slightly leaning back posture.
    @Surrechis

  9. Time seemed to blur as Serruchis played, oblivious to the world around. As the rhythm continued, she found started to think again. The song wavered slightly as she forced herself to stop thinking and lose herself once again. No matter how hard she tried to lock away her memories, they always found a way to creep back in. Once more, the girl's mind became blank and the soothing song returned once again..

Suddenly, she was ripped out of her world when she felt a touch upon her head and heard a voice speaking to her. Glancing up to see what was happening, she found a young woman to be the source of the disruption. While she didn't mind an audience, she spent most of her life playing for one after all, the touches were bothersome. The requests were odd as well and made her a little uneasy, but the woman seemed reasonable. Shifting slightly, she stopped playing and turned to @Kaede Hoshi . Her face a mask and voice barely a whisper she said,

"Apologies madam but I did not hear you approach. I would gladly play for you but... would you kindly stop touching me? It is quite distracting."

She wasn't a fan of meeting strangers, especially with such an odd entrance but it wouldn't be polite to just run away. Speaking of politeness, she realized that she hadn't introduced herself or answered the implied question at the end.

"I am sorry, allow me to introduce myself, my name is Serruchis. The reason I wear such colors is because was it chosen for me before... my last performance."

  10. ”How can I resist touching such a divine angel such as you~ I’m Kaedé Hoshi, but you can call me big sis if you want… I hope you mean like last one you did and not like the ‘cleerk’ last one…”

_____Kaedé would only stop to make a gesture of cutting her neck before returning to messing with the girl as she tried for a hug and rubbing her cheek against the girl’s like she was cuddling a small animal. ”Forgive me for such a dark thought, as if anyone could dare bring harm to someone as cute as you.~” Unless @Surrechis made motions to escape her reach Kaedé would keep cuddling the girl humming happily.

”I’m a hugger, Unless you tell me to stop and stop being so cute I’ll keep hugging and cuddling you.~”

_____Kaedé was not being dangerous or scary by her book. She did not place much pressure and made it very easy should the girl want to escape she could. ”Not to mention you should learn to play under any conditions~” Moving away finally on her own choice as she leaned back and moved her naginata to rest beside the rock they sat on as she kicked her feat at the air and basked in the sun.

”So what has a fair dressed girl like you out in the woods playing a flute? Maybe you're meeting a lover, or you ran away from home to be a little rebel?”

_____Kaedé had a few other ideas in her mind about what might have caused the girl to be out here, but for once she did not fully want to be her super clingy and odd self around someone and just kept her questions to a minimal. If she did not want to explain Kaede would understand, she felt the same a lot of times when people asked her why she got so, well how she was from her once shut out self.

  11. Surrechis was glad that @Kaede Hoshi had stopped touching her but the various comments weighed heavily on her. They started to bring back memories of her past once again, she would never escape from it wouldn't she? She shook those thoughts away, now was not the time to dwell on the past, she turned to address Kaede once again,

"No, Ms Hoshi, I am not meeting with anyone. I am wandering these lands in search of new sights and potential inspiration."

The woman did have a point about learning to play under any circumstances though. Surrechis doubted that other places would be as hospitable this one, even with the hugging included. Mountain tops and other such places had a tendency to be windy and otherwise unpleasant, especially with debris like snow or sand. She felt that it was time for her to continue her journey, she had rested long enough. Then again, it didn't feel right to leave such a short time after meeting a guest, it felt improper. Settling into the rock once more, she asked Kaede,

"Do you have any more questions or would you like me to continue playing?"

  12. ”Oh I have a thousand and one questions, and most of them are either very personal or sexual questions my dear.”

_____Kaedé chimed happily as she tried to pull @Surrechis closer and trying even harder to have the girl setting between her legs allowing the Faerin to use her breast as a pillow as she kept cuddling the girl with a happy humming. Stopping her cuddling for a few moments, but not so much letting go of the girl as she looked down and smiled happily to her. ”Resuming playing please my dear, if you have any flops in the song i think I’ll tickle your sides~” Kaedé was like an overly attached sister as she laughed and then went silent to listen to the girl play the flute.

_____It was not long before Kaedé seemed to sway with the girl to the tone of the song, if she did mess up there would be fingers trying to tickle Surrechis’ sides as Kaedé giggled lightly just enjoying the company. ”If you want to hear my questions just say so, but know that if you answer some in certain ways I might do more then tickle you~” Kaedé would lean down slightly to blow on the girl’s ear before lightly kissing it and resuming her swaying. She was someone who acted first, and if someone ran she would not chase.

”I wonder how you would look in bunny outfit...?”

_____Kaedé's mind randomly clicking as she looked down at the girl wondering how she would look. A light laugh as she imagined the little bunny tail and ears. ”Little baby bunny girl~” Kaedé hummed aloud as she would try to moved the girl to face her with a light devil’s grin across her own face. Leaning to kiss the girl’s forehead before picking her up if she got the chances and started walking with the girl facing her chest.

”I have decided, I’m going to get you a bunny suit and take pictures, then I’m going to take you home and smother you with care and love and show you a whole new way to look at the world.~”

  13. There's being polite, then there's being dumb. Surrechis was not just going to let some person she barely knew walk around carrying her. She might follow along because @Kaede Hoshi seemed to know the region better but being picked up? Definitely not on her to do list. A lot of what the woman said flew over Surrechis' head but that was the least of her worries currently. Slipping from Kaede's grip, she had a feeling that it was about to be a long day. A quick glance up showed the opposite however, nightfall was fast approaching and she didn't fancy

"Please do not pick me up, if you wanted me to follow you, you could have asked."

She hoped that Kaede would stop being so forceful, it would be a shame for a fight to break out. While she couldn't really control it that well despite her study, her other magic was better suited to direct confrontations.

"It looks like it's getting late, I shall be headed to the nearest village. It was a pleasure meeting you Ms Hoshi."

Giving Kaede a bow, Surrechis navigated her way to the path and continued along it. It had to lead to somewhere, why else would someone make a path?

  14. _____Kaedé was no stranger to getting rejected as she let the girl go without any attempts to keep her. Waving farewell to the girl before she chose to speak again. ”Maybe another time we can go shopping together. Your big sis will be heading to Stokbon if you ever want to meet up again.” Kaedé spoke out calmly as she started to walk the other way. Sure leaving someone so young to walk alone as night approached did not sit well with her but clearly she struck a nerve with the girl.

”Well I can’t blame her for wanting to get away from me… If she wanted my company to the nearest village he would likely be the type to ask for directions, not say a farewell before it.”

_____Kaedé would turn her head to see @Surrechis one more time and imagine her in the bunny suit again before giggling to herself and walking away into the growing darkness. Would she be among the ones that got away, or maybe fate would have them cross paths once more and the next time she might go a bit more relaxed to show the girl she was just excited to meet a new person? Kaedé looked for the first star in the sky and placed a small wish they might cross paths again.

”I just can’t live if I don’t see her in a bunny suit and spoil her… Not to mention get her to not be so formal with me!”

  15. Over the whole character creation, it had gotten pretty late by the time Tyra finally logged into the game. Night was already about to set, both ingame and in the real world. As she was finally finished and got into the game, a few trees and grassy hills appeared around her. Well, she knew she was actually the one that appeared, but the sudden change of surroundings overwhelmed her. Of course she had known a few things about VR games before, but experiencing it first hand was a completely different thing. Everything seemed so real, way more real than she had expected. The wind, the grass, it all felt like the real thing.

Looking around, she also saw some monsters. Or rather animals? None of them really seemed threatening yet, so Tyra guessed she could still get used to the game before fighting them. “Alright, how do I open the menu?” she muttered to herself. As far as she knew, most games featured a hand motion or voice command to open it. Although by speaking her question out loud, she already knew menu wasn't the right voice command. Then a hand movement? First she tried to swipe to the side, or down, but that didn't do anything. However, after a few more tries, she managed to open the menu in her palm. Of course, always the last possible options.

First things first, she had to check her stuff. And the settings as well. And then, how about fighting a bit? After all, she had her katana ready at her side. Somehow it had been the first option for her, without much thinking. When it came to Tyra, the only fitting weapon was a katana, although she had never used one before. So after a bit of meddling with the menu, she took her katana and walked over to one of the... monsters? She actually felt a bit pathetic, intending to fight a chicken, but on the other hand... She looked down on the katana. On the other hand the best she was able to do was randomly hit the direction of whatever jumped at her, so maybe that was the best option to train. But as she was still thinking, she got interrupted rather abruptly by said chicken suddenly jumping towards her and starting to peck her. “Ouch, what the hell!?” she exclaimed. Why the hell was this thing so aggressive? Didn't starting enemies only attack when provoked? “Damn you!” she shouted and waved her sword at the chicken, surprised when she actually did land a hit somehow. There she stood, still surprised, in front of the dead chicken she had 'honourably slain' just now.
