  1. The name "Merkaba" picked her mind for a while when Christina mused it. At this point, Solaria's mind was blurry at best. That battle took more out of her than she knew- and not just her, but everyone. "I...Really don't know what you're talking about, Christina." A pale complexion mixed with her red dress like a ghost, but at least the blood was well hidden. Even after she'd been healed, she still had some notable pain.

"Anyway...Let's get to the wagon. What were we working on again?" Dizzy, she grabbed what was essentially Seto's corpse by the collar. "I think I have enough strength to drag him, but we'll need to put him in a still position so he doesn't get any extra injuries while he's healing. I think he's alive...Right?"

None of this was really making sense anymore. Pulling the body with her and basically throwing it haphazardly into the back seat (she tried to be careful, but was too tired to succeed for a part of the labor), she climbed onto the wagon carefully and held a hand out to the girl with her that still had breath. "We were looking for something, right? I'll do better with some rest, so let's just get there quietly if we can."

((And again, a million apologies that this post sucks and is seriously late beyond belief xD))

  2. OOC: Too damm tired to write a full post lol

    "Riiiigghhht."
Christina blubbered out loud as Sola noted the two needed to get Seto in the wagon, she follow Sola's lead as she pick up Seto and dragged him to the wagon, Chistina grabbed his greaves when they were at the rear of the wagon where she and Sola together raised him into the wagon, she sighed until she remember what Sola had asked her a minute ago, she nearly smacked her forehead with the palm of her hand. "Sola.....we may have an issue, We huh..........need to collect herbs for the sick at Dawngrave and we don't have much time to do it! I think we need to get on it! Get in the wagon!" Christina was serious now! She was still exhausted from what had transpired earlier but those people back home were counting on her and Sola and she the two couldn't fail, she would hate herself for it as well as her mother being disappointed in her. Using her acking muscles to pull herself into the cockpit of the wagon, she took Sola's hand when she realized Sola was already up there, she must of been really tired to not have noticed that, In the wagon, she took her seat at the helm before looking at Sola. "He should be, check his pulse, am going to take the helm, maybe you should get in the back and watch over him ok?"

She nodded Sola's comment in her mind as she grabbed the spurrs and whipped the horses to begin moving forward, coming to think about it now, she was really surprised the horses wern't freightened off during the encouter earlier than again the more she thought of it, she was glad they were still here otherwise they would have to walk all the way there and back to the town. If that would have happened, they would have failed the quest If they haven't already. She didn't want to think about it anymore, she was too exhauted for anymore heavy thinking. Laying back agianst the wooden plank making her seat, she kicked her legs up agianst a small wooden plank infront of her that laid inbetween her and the the two horses ahead of them pulling the wago. It would take some time before they would get there but for the remainder of the trip, it was a straight away path in the plains. If there was any trouble the two would be able tosee it long before the trouble could get to them

  3. ((You think your post isn't a 'full' post? It's way better than mine xD))

Even if she hadn't been told to do so, checking the vitals was natural to a nurse-in-training. She checked his breathing by bringing a long ear to his chest, testing his pulse soon after with her fingers at his wrist. He seemed well enough- rest should be the key here. "I'll stay back here then to keep an eye on him and make sure he isn't rustled too much." She gave a soft smile in Christina's direction. They were safe now, right?

"Are you feeling okay up there, Chris?" A nickname wasn't a bad thing to give a friend- and after all that had happened, it wasn't strange to call someone a friend, was it? "It's good we're all straight ahead from here...Not much coverage, but not much hiding places either. What's the herb we're looking for anyway? What's it called?"

  4. OOC: Two paragraphs make up a short post >>

It had been a few hours since they had departed where the battle had transpired and for the remainder of the trip, it was quiet besides the occasional bump in the road which seemed to jolt Christina back to life long enough for her to get her sorrundings and keep the wagon going before relaxing again, closing her eyes essentially put her sleep, it was a good thing the horses were smart! Sitting back with her legs up had really hit the stuff for her, she was so tired from earlier, it was so hard to keep her eyes open all the way, at least in the few hours she relaxed on the wagon, she was able to get some sleep or rather small naps but netherless it still helped alot. She didn't a peep from Sola or Seto so looking over her shoulder she saw Seto still laid on his side with his head resting in Sola's lap or at least she thought? It was sorta hard to tell as she yaned and sighed as she stretched her arms up into the air before getting cozzy again in her seat. It taken much effort on her part to stat awake but in the end, she dozed off yet again...go figure right?

The sudden images of previous events shattered his mind, he wasn't dead but damm seeing nothing but the past events of his time on here were a bore to him. Why the hell was he even seeing these images? All these images reminded him of the times he had almost fell in battle but at the very last moments, he was able to unleash his power, saving himself from dying. He got his answer when he found himself standing in a dark enless room with water being the floor, looking ahead he was infront of a huge metal cage with a shadow figure at the edge. Walking a few steps forward was it was a warrior clad from head to toe in ebony armor, when it turned around he saw his reflection, the beast that live within him, it roared at him with a horrifying voice before staring Seto down "You win......for now weakling but mark my words carefully fool, I will deflower those two and torture them to their death's! There days are numbered just like yours!" Seto crossed his arms, he wasn't scared of him from before and he certainly wasn't scared of him now "You touch Sola or Christina and I will personally break you deamon." Seto tried threatening the deamon with his words but it simple laughed it's sorry behind off "You kill me? You can't even control me! Come on than try little man!" The deamon spat at Seto's face. On the outside world, in the wagon Seto's body tossed and turned multiple times with him mubbling Sola's name outloud "Sola" as well as "I won't let you touch Sola!" as well as a few others in his sleep.

    @Solaria

  5. ((Some posts are short, it's not the end of the world! As long as we're having fun, right?))

Solaria found it adorable in all honesty, watching both Christina and Seto sleep. Though she had clear concerns of the one at the helm being at rest, she could tell the horses were quite at ease on this road- and, in all honesty, she couldn't blame Christina for being tired with what had happened. It was a relief she was able to see her relax.

Seto, on the other hand, was clearly not relaxed. As she rested in the back of the wagon with him, she noticed his regular mumbles in his sleep, hearing him say her name a multitude of times, each time sounding desperate and worried. As she felt a frown tug at her cheeks, she moved to kiss the man's forehead, hugging him lightly while on her knees near his sleeping self.

"I'm safe, Seto. We're all safe. You needn't worry for us, especially not in your dreams. Instead, let us worry for you." Her words were said with a pained expression, arms pulling the man's head close to her chest, hoping that the sound of her heartbeat could heal his internal wounds.

That the man was worried for her both flattered and frightened her. She didn't like it when people felt they had to protect her, even if she was thankful since it meant they cared for her as well. "You needn't protect me, especially not alone. You, Christina and I are a team. You let us rely on you...So let yourself rely on us more, for we love you just as much."

  6. Despite Seto standing his own ground ready to bust some heads open, for reasons he couldn't explain he still couldn't move, there was a portion of him that was far too frieghtened to move, Seto knew all too well If he went into that cage, it would certainly mark the end of him for he would never be a match for Merkaba's creation. It was skilled and strong with the intelligence of a cunning warlord when it didn't go on bloody rampages just for the thrill of blood being spilled. He tried so hard to move while he stared at the monster in it's own cage but he couldn't he just couldn't instead his limbs shook in place and the deamon noticed.

"What are you waiting for Seto? Didn't you want my power for your own? Don't you want it to protect those you cherish and love? Well? Wuh
ahahaha just by your hesitation alone, I know you're too much of weakling and coward to slaughter me! That's fine by me, I will take control of your pitiful existence when I can and when I do, I will take those two women for my own purposes! I will give them my seed which I will use to spread my darkness around this pitiful world you weaklings call a home and only a man could possiibly stop me but you're certainly no man, just lowly mut with no right to power, you will never be strong without me fool and beacuse of that very fact, You will be too weak to save your friends and lovers just like you were too weak to save Satoya from her own death, YOU ARE A FAILURE! be gone weakling!

There wasn't any time to think or to act, only a flash of light consumed what he saw and threw the broken man into the pits of hell. The very flames and heat would have melted him but in some strange way, it didn't as it felt like home, he could finally sit and think. His mind was baffled by what the deamon said, it really gotten to him, HOW? he thought, how the hell did it know about his personal life? How did he know about the love of his love that had perished through the burnage of metal and the heat of fire, His eyes widened as the word kept digging deeper and deeper into mind, his sanity was going out the door. Dammit how did he let this happen??!! Maybe the deamon was right? Maybe he was too weak and as long as he remained as Seto, he would never gain the power he wanted? If he was this weak though, How would he protect those he cared for when he couldn't even save one person before? DAMMIT why did this shit always happen to him? NOO!!! He couldn't let the deamon's words cling to his mind! HE REFUSED TO BELIEVE IT! NO HE WOULD FIND A WAY TO KILL THIS THING EVEN IF IT WAS THE LAST THING HE DID! HE WOULD SWORE IT ON HIS GRAVE!

He would become stronger and he would become a man and with the power the deamon spoke of, he would utterly destroy that thing from his existence, he wouldn't allow that damm deamon to rape Sola, Christina or anyone else he knew and allowed it to spread it's despair and dark power around this world. He knew from the begiinng this would be a long and dark road only he could walk but now he was even more sure of it. Out of his sheer rage, he ripped open his own rib cage and pulled out the darkness that was constantly consuming him from within. Grabbing these layers of thick ebony shadows from his body, he ripped them out of his body and smashed them on the firery ground which the ground consumed. His energy which was noticable went from a ebony black to a mild grey in color. From that point he knew what he had to do, with a flick of his wrist, he teleported himself back to the deamons cage. This time with his new grey aura flowing through his power, he pointed his blade at the deamon that sat within it's cage.

"I may not be strong enough to kill you now but mark my words you damm filith, I don't care if it's the last damm thing I do, I won't let you escape and I certainly won't allow you to consume those I have interacted, One day I will destroy you and purge myself and this world of your darkness. Merkaba is dead and you be joining soon enough so enjoy that shithole you call a cell."

With that Seto began walking away from the cage, hell determind even more so now to destroy that firend whom at the same began laughing again "YES You finally understand! Now lets see If you can do it Seto Kurama or should I say Ryosuke Hiroka."

Meanwhile in Terrasphere, Seto contiuned to roll back and forth, eventually landing himself into Sola's lap and yet he still wasn't awake for reasons unknown yet he still mumbled, this time countless things such as
"I won't let you rape them" , " I will destroy your darkness fiend!""DAMMIT YOU BASTARD CHRISTINA AND SOLA ARE MINE! You think I'll let you release your seed?" to more dark things like "HOW? HE DID HE KNOW ABOUT SATOYA?" , " DOES IT EXIST IN THE REAL WORLD?" , "Maybe it's right, maybe as long as am Seto, I'll never be strong, I'll only be a dog and never a man." To anyone else who heard these words, it was clear it would prove difficult, if not impossible for someone tp understand what he meant, after all his mind was something so complicated even he didn't understand.

  7. OOC: Sorry had to break it up to finish it :P

On the flip side of things. Christina eventually pulled herself together after getting enough sleep from her quick naps. It was no surprise really that she had slept through the entire ride since she had good luck or at least she thought anyway. The sight of Mount Takenari grabbed her attention with the magnificant view from there wagon, from where they were standing, a huge grey mountain with snow at it's tip laid in the distance and when she looked at the base of Mount Takenari laid the forest they had to goto, She was so excited they had arrived, she giggled before bringing the wagon to a complete standstill, forcing Seto's head into Sola's stomach from the complete halt of the wagon, this in return woke up there sleeping beauty. Opening his eyes, he saw nothing but blackness at first than as he eyes adjusted, he noticed his head was sitting on black fabric, wait black fabric? The last thing Seto remembered was seeing pigmen fighting Sola after he was thrown up agianst a tree. Turning around revealed the sun's ray and the long branches of trees and Sola's face........SOLA'S FACE? Tilting his head up further, he stared directly at Sola's face for a few moments before finally speaking "uhh....what I miss beautiful?" He shrugged his shoulders before she could respond than he heard Christina's voice "Hey Sola! Come on we gotta start looking for these herbs asap! Don't worry about Seto, he be fine by himself!" Christina had already jumped off the wagon and grabbed a basket on the side of the wagon and tied one to her back so she could put the herbs in the basket. She was already near the tree line next to a few shubs when she looked back and waved at Sola.

  8. The halt of the wagon was perfectly timed, in Solaria's mind. She'd been near ready to cry, a desperate concern on her face from hearing Seto's vacant cries that she couldn't seem to comprehend. When the collision against her snapped him awake, his words in reaction had her trying not to giggle. Beautiful? That was a new greeting. She was sure she irked him more than anything half the time. Then again, Seto did have a kind side, and he'd shown it in his sleeping swears to protect both her and the one at the helm. "Morning to you too, sleepyhead."

With a soft grin, she wiped the tears that had dared to exit her eyes with her somewhat torn sleeve, adjusting her tattered clothes as she stood upon the request from the other woman. She nodded to herself, fluffing up the man's hair in a playful manner, hoping to cheer both herself and the man who'd just been traumatized in his sleep without knowing. If he did, he probably didn't know she knew. Though, he'd find out later.

"I have questions for you when I get back, but for now, leave the work to us and get some more rest. Preferably awake while I'm not here, though. I can't keep an eye on your pulse as easily when I'm picking herbs."

Jumping out of the wagon with a great burst of energy, Solaria called out to Christina to wait for her, joining in the search for herbs. She kept a careful eye out after knowing what to look for, but couldn't help asking what Christina knew. "You're amazing, sleeping during a ride like that. But...Did Seto wake you up at all? I couldn't rest even if I wanted to. His nightmares traumatized me so much, I can't imagine how he's so calm waking from them."

  9. "Uhh? Where the hell are we now anyway? and why are you crying? He raised his eyebrows as he laid there lying down confused, why was she crying? Was she watching over him the entire time? That was unexpected he thought as he silently watched Sola wash away her tears with her sleeves before forcing him to get up. He was sitting Indian style when she told him she was going to be asking him questions later, about what he wondered? He wasn't quite sure what she needed to ask him about, was she going to ask about the deamon within him? That wasn't something he could easily explain, sure he the exterior was simple to understand but underneath the supposed truth, the real truth laid and he had no real idea how to explain nor did he really want to talk about it. What he had witinessed when he was knocked out was real as if all that was in the real worl yet at the same time it wasn't. Just thinking about it, he wanted to go insane just to stop the pain it caused, his only question was how it knew about Satoya but he kned he wouldn't get any answers today so he had decided to leave those thoughts in the back of his mind to focus on other things.

He snirked as he watched Sola jump off the wagon's end to go meet up with Christina, he figured he relax in the mean time until something happened again, laying his arms over the side of the wagon, he rested his head on one of his arms as he watched the two work on whatever they came here to do, he forgot at this point honestly."Haha naw not really, am a pretty hard sleeper to wake up unless something happens, noise doesn't really bother me when sleeping haha." She rubbed the back of her head as she listened to Sola talk of her experience before resting her arms on her waist "Really? wow I didn't even know someone could dream while knocked out! Are you sure he was dreaming though? I mean....you saw that thing in action right? It like frecking blew a hole through the mage monster thing and made a crater in the ground! There has to be more to the story than we know!"Christina's face turned serious as she faced the tree line and the rest of the forest beyond "Sola! Get your game face on! We need to work fast now so listen close like okay? Make sure to grab a basket from the side of the wagon and put it on your back."She singled Sola to follow her as she began walking into the forest, eventually, they were almost out of sight by Seto when Christina got on her knee's near a shrub "Sola take a look at this! I want you to imbue this leaf into your brain! this is important ok? These Leafs here are the herbs we will need, see the unnatural blue twirly lines in the center of the leaf? This means it's a herb, if you see the same leaf with a yellow twirly lines in the center, it is deadly ivy to the sickly, to me or you will probably only get a rash or a cold if we come into too much contact with me but if a sickly person gets it........well you know what will happen, it's important not to mess this up, Sola!

After she explained it to Sola, Christina began going through a nearby bush sorting the leafs for the herbal leafs they needed when she remembered she needed to tell Sola one more thing "Oh oh Sola! Sola! One more thing, Whatever you do, respect the forest no matter what, If you don't, a legendary mythical creature of unfabled power will come down and kill us! It aparrently lives at the base of the mountain here, this forest is it's territory so don't do anything crazy please? We don't even have Seto with us."She sighed that they didn't have Seto with them but to her knowledge, he was still knocked out anyway.

  10. Solaria kept what she wanted to ask hidden in a corner of her mind, focusing on the information Christina soon laid into her. Whether it was about the plant they needed or the ones to avoid, she kept all of the information soaked up as strongly as she sponged her classes- which, surprisingly, wasn't that bad at all. No one would expect the girl was an honor student with her personality, even she knew that. Thus, when Christina made it clear she was worried, she just listened quietly without complaining.

At least, not until she heard about the creature that ruled the forest.

All games had things like this, she told herself. As she picked herbs, she thanked each one for helping her, hoping it would subdue the spirit that she'd been warned of. "He was crying out that he wouldn't let whatever he was fighting hurt us. His fear was so clear, Christina. I wouldn't call such a thing a dream, even in normal sleep. It was a terror. A trauma."

Her tears were starting to return just thinking about it, unintentionally watering some of the grass as she tried to avoid the memory for the time being. Crying didn't suit her, and she knew that. Plus, making Christina and Seto worry by bawling was far from her to-do list. She already loved them too much to want them worrying. All she could want was their smiles.

"But you know...I won't let Seto protect us all by himself. I'm going to work hard. I want to be able to protect Seto from now on, too. And you too, Christina. And the forest...I'll protect everyone I can. Because...What I want most is to see everyone's smiles."

Her words were said with a smirk of her own, a gentle grin that she couldn't help having as she finished picking what herbs she could find. "I think this is the last I can pick from this spot. We shouldn't pick all of it, after all. That's the last thing that counts as being kind to the forest. Will this be enough?"

  11. As Sola told Christina of her unfortunate experience with Seto in the back of the wagon with her, It was a little strange for her to hear sthings like that, for many including herself, she had never thought of Seto as a regular person. She knew he was no hero but there was no doubt in his mind he was a hero tier warrior in his own right and that terrifying power that was locked away, If he could gain that power, what would that make him? The bottom line was that she had never thought Seto as the same as her or Sola as someone who could have nightmares or dream, in short she couldn't really explain it to anyone, If she didn't understand her own logic at times. "I...I had no idea Sola, I've never seen Seto as a normal person, have you? I mean he makes the frecking town guard look like bozo's in comparision. I hope he gets better or else well be joining him."

Christina eyed Sola when she started to cry "Hey why you crying? He is ok right? You must uh"
Christina turned red, kicking a stone into a bush before turning to face Christina to finish what she started earlier "Really care for Seto don't you?" She crossed her hands as she waved at Sola when she realized what she was say "Not that I don't care for him either haha...yeah"She turned to her bush to collect the remaining herbs, she sighed as her head lowered "That was close" She muttered under her breath. Wanting to forget the entire situation, she quietly focused on harvesting the remaining herbs, ignoring Sola's words or Sola entirely honestly until about ten minutes later where Sola informed her she couldn't get anymore herbs from this bush. She looked into her own basket and noticed how much she had gathered, it was filled about halfway, she laid her fist on her chinn as she thought what she needed. They needed about one full basket for the medicine they would make out of the herbs, Is Sola had half a basket worth of herbs than they would be fine. Looking over her shoulder, she hollered for Sola " I think we should have enough to fill one basket, did you fill your bas"

Christina was cut off when a tremor went off in the distance causing all the bird chippering to stop as they fly away for safety, a few white tail looking deer scattered passed them as well in hoping to get to safety as well. Following behind the deer were two bloodied raiders who spirited past the girls, paying no attention
" Come on Holley! Run Faster! I told you it was a bad idea to steal that thing from the cave!" Whatever what those two raiders were talking about was unclear for certain but in the chaos, one of them dropped a mysterious big egg that emitted some aura around it, there was also some debris and ridges around the egg as well. Christina stared back at Sola as the two raiders were quickly out of their sights before they could hope to ask them "uhhhh.....what just....happened?"

hh He heard and felt the tremor as he fell back into the wagon, caought off guard from it. He rubbed his head with his left hand after his head had smashed into the wooden planks making up the floor of the back of the wagon "Oh what the hell? God dammit! I can't even let two little girls collect leafs without someone making a mess!" He bit his lip out of frustration, of course, he couldn't get five minutes of relaxation, he sore this world had it out for him.

  12. "To me, Seto's simply Seto. I don't think of people as normal or not. Every person is different. We all live our lives in different ways, after all. We grow up in different families, with different people...So how can I classify any one person as normal, when we're all so different?"

Her words were said rather whimsically, a shard of wisdom appearing to be living in her head despite her usual nature. As she worked on her plucking, she was surprised that Christina would ask why she cried. "Of course I care for him. Seto has been only kind to me...Seeing someone kind fighting so much that he can't even get the rest he deserves after hard work...I can't help but worry. I'm working to become a nurse, you know. I plan to take a pledge to aid all, and Seto is far from being excluded on that list!"

She stretched to show her basket was around half-full as well, maybe a tiny bit more or less than Christina's. She'd found it easy enough to pluck from the roots of the bushes, though as the raiders came and dropped their egg, she fell rather hastily into one of the poisonous plants nearby, groaning.

"That...Really hurt! I feel like I was stung by a bee!" It wasn't a bee, however. As she moved her arms to get up and reached for the dropped egg, she frowned a bit. Her wrists, the part that had been particularly hit by a poisonous barb, was slightly blistered already. The pain made her wince as she lifted the egg from the dirt. She spoke to it, as if she thought it could hear her. "I don't know what those guys were doing, but I'm guessing they were running from your mom..."

Dusting off the egg, she gave a curious glance to Christina. "So, I have two questions for you right now. How do I deal with this poisoned blister, and what animal egg am I holding that we need to hurry to return?"

Straightening herself as she stood, she turned to see Seto was sitting up in the wagon. "Looks like they kept Seto from resting again. Those folks were trouble before we met them, I bet...But this is even more trouble now, don't you think? We have to hurry with the herbs, but this egg might need aid finding its home, too..."

  13. There were so many questions running through her head like what was a nurse? Was that a teacher or something? She wasn't sure but Sola didn't give her much time since she fell into an ivy bush. For once Christina pulled a Seto and facepalmed her face with the palm of her hand, she really would had thought Sola would have been more careful. Her brain went from dissapointment to nearly exploding when Sola picked up a random egg up they had no idea what or who laid it than she started talking to it! When Sola asked her about the egg, she was ready to growl at Sola as steam began to came out of her ears. She had to inhale and exhale slowly to relax before putting on a fake smile on her face to answer Sola question "Hmm? I thought you could use holy magic yes? Just use cure Sola and WHY IN THE BLOODY HELL ARE YOU TOUCHING AN EGG YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUR??!! You do realize the mothers of animals can smell the scent of those's who touched their eggs right?" Against her better judgment, she stepped closer to inspect the egg to get a better picture of what had laid it. Looking at the egg, it was huge for a egg, it was not normal! that's for darn sure! whatever laid this thing was big and certainly not natural or rare she thought? She was amazed it was still bright white despite chuncks of dirt, dead grass and leafs stuck all over it, those two raiders must have taken it from the nest, that was the only conclusion Chistina could come up with but why she wondered? What was the point? The egg also emmited a warm aura as well, almost warm to the touch, she had no idea why it was doing that but her question would probably be answered in a few minutes.

Through the rumbling of tree's, boulders and bushes being stomped and trampled over, something large and angered was racing through the forest at alarming rates, it spared nothing in it's wake as it slayed anything in it's path to those who trespassed on it's resting place and took what belonged to it. It was simple to trace since it's scent was on it's exterior, it was apart of itself a short time ago. Quickly it smashed it's way through the forest to Sola and Christina and dashed it's tail straight for Christina, catching her off guard. Not seeing it at the last moment, Christina closed her eyes as she shrieked outloud, expecting to be impaled, instead she only heard the cling of metal. When she opened her eyes, she saw Seto with his Odachi out high in the sky deflecting the blow from her, unknowingly to Christina and possibly Sola, Seto managed to gain enough of the beast's power to teleport himself when he heard Christina's scream. Pushing the monster's tail back with his blade using all his strength, the monster retracked it's tail as Seto grinned before falling on one leg, he still hadn't recovered from the last encouter but If he didn't move when he did, Christina would dead and he couldn't allow that. The monster on the other heand remained in the shadows to prevent the three from seeing it's body. Making a screech , it it spook in a eerie but cryptic tone

"You were able to deflect my first blow human. that is admirable is."

"Is that so? Beast tell me! Are you the mighty Wise King of the Forest!"

"Indeed so! Now trespassers of my territory, Should you leave now and leave my
Tamago here, I shall not give you chase out of the respect of the dying warrior's admiral guard."
"What action will you take mortals? Fight and die or flee like the cattle you are and live? Such choice is yours to make!"

Seto laughed....hard before smirking into the shadow's

"What a foolish question Wise king, you already know the answer!"
"If you were any true threat, you wouldn't hide like the coward you are in the shadows!"
"Face me weakling or run for your hole back in the mountain!

"You are cocky with those words mortals, you will regret that!"

What has seto gotten the three into? Was he talking the truth or was he being simply crazy? What dangers could await these three? Of course tthe three could always still leave and not look back or maybe If they were strong enough they could perhaps.............

  14. "My magic is still not that good. I can only do so much with it, and I can't easily heal a poison I haven't seen before in action." Though, quite honestly, the symptoms were familiar to an colonial poisonous tree that she'd seen many times in the past, both in person (though never touched, luckily) and in her textbooks. "Perhaps, if I think of it as Dogbane..."

As she healed herself, the blister was slow but steadily disappearing. The timing was perfect, as she held the egg, it almost felt like the egg was giggling to her- something inside was moving. "Well we can't just leave the poor thing here. Besides, I'm not the first to touch it. I saw how those bandits handled it. It already has human stench. I can at least bring it nearer to it's mother."

It was as if the moment were perfectly timed. She heard the voice as Seto seemed to have a rather unusual conversation with a shadow. Rather than fight it, once she heard who it was, she naturally rushed over to hold out the egg to the stranger.

"I know it's not right to touch normally, but the bandits had already coated it with their smell most likely, and I wanted to make sure the fellow wasn't damaged. A nurse's job is to make sure even the youngest life is taken care of, after all!"

Turning to look at Seto, she found her smiled had failed slightly as she added, "And you shouldn't make threats to someone who's done nothing to you. I doubt they're related to the Pigmen or whoever you were protecting us from in your dream. You'd be just as mad as this fellow is if it were Christina instead of an egg, right?"
