  1. The slight rose that took on his cheeks was amusing, but his words and the way he seemed to emphasize certain pieces made her grin a bit further. While she knew that her instinctual desire to point out 'all humans have red blood' was silly, thus being able to fight it, she couldn't help that she blurted out what came to mind over the unique little adjective.

"Well well, I might have to give you a test one of these days to make sure just how healthy you are, won't I?" Her words left her just as playfully as his had, especially as he teased her a bit further.

Though she didn't want to admit she was the type to easily fall for such forward thoughts, the woman couldn't help herself and wrapped herself around one of his arms, pulling it close to her chest with a grin, rather than taking the hand directly. "Surely, a trip to a tavern would do me just fine. Just know I'm not one to drink, really. I'll just have something simple and watch over to make sure you don't poison your liver before I can enjoy some more time with you. Sound good?"

Without actually letting go of him, she escorted him cautiously into the woods, watching the darkening sky as she did so. The night was coming closer, twilight dawning on them quickly. It was best to find a village before nightfall, just to get out of the woods with some light left to guide them, right?
