Vermillion Manor Vermillian was in the Rose Garden today drinking her favorite variety of blood. The southerners were quite refreshing compared to stale Falderens. Taking a sip she put the cup down onto it's saucer and looked to her new bodyguard. Or maybe more of a squire at this early juncture. @Eldhi , the knight wannabe was changing in a different way than she had expected but that was part of the fun of it for Vermillion. To see how each one of her treasures would grow into stronger, better individuals. At least it was working on this one. Tensai and Ner were absolutely no enjoyment for the Arch Vampire other than pretty faces. Her eyes shifted to @Alphabet Chocolate who had a large platter of cookies in front of her. Vermillion could have been happier with a bit more drastic of a change but the free spirit of the girl refreshed the aged noble. Vermillion decided it time... "ABC... Sword..." The Vampire had given the knight this substitute name to reinforce her new path. "I have good news hmhmhm. The time has come to promote you both! You shall be sent on your first Prism Hunt today for me. This task is usually reserved for Trizzaldi and Misha. Hmhmhmhm, your immediate seniors. However their success has dwindled in recent weeks. Surely you know about those shiny little prism shards? Go bring me some. The bigger the better. I want to see what you can accomplish without any direction.... Hmmmm let's see. Start on Druuk Island. There is less chance of interference. Perform well for me my treasures and I will consider you truly among my most precious thirteen." Vermillion rose her cup to her lips and squinted her eyes. "And don't forget to have some fun during the hunt... I do believe there is still a good game of red light, green light for you two to play with someone... hmhmhm."
Bits of cookie crumbs fell from Alpha's gaped mouth as she listened raptly to Vermilion's words. "Oh. My. God!" she squealed out the last word, jumping from her seat and consequently dropping the platter of cookies onto the floor, the individual circles of sweet goodness plunging to the floor and breaking into little crunchy bits and pieces. Without much of a thought, Alpha idly scooped one piece up and threw it in her mouth. "Five second rule," she instinctively mumbled as she stared at Vermilion with wide eyes. She looked back and forth between Eldhi and Vermilion (her previous grievances to the former casually forgotten in the wake of Vermilion's reassurances). Her body shook in excitement and she could barely contain herself when she leaped up in the air, arms stretched as if she were trying to reach the skies. "Oh! This is gonna be so cool, Vermy! We're gonna make you so proud and we'll bring back all of the shards. All the green ones and the blue ones and the purple ones and the red ones and all the hooloovoo ones!" She rattled on and on about her plans on obtaining these precious items and bringing them all to Vermilion for, what she puts it, her 'prism shard hoard that could rival Smaug or, like, one of those guys on American Hoarders although the series got cancelled last year.' "Red light, green light?!" she finally gasped, taking a deep breath as all what Vermilion had said finally registered in her hyperactive brain. She reached over to squeeze Eldhi in what would be her tightest, most suffocating hug yet. Her eyes were as big as pancakes and they were as open as a pair of fish eyes. "We gotta go now! Let's go! Let's go! C'mon, Eldhi! We gotta make Vermy proud and then we'd be, you know, part of her group of favorites! Oh, she's gonna be so happy, Eldhi!" she whined, attempting to drag the girl to who knows where. @Eldhi
After the hopeless battle against the Arch-Vampire, Eldhi's body dying from the spears impaling her. However, Vermillion didn't let her to simply perish. No, she wasn't satisfied with just stomping her in battle, she wanted the knight's mind and very soul, prove to Tyl that his light meant nothing to her red mist. Thus, with the potent corrupting influence of her Demon Rose, the vampire reassembled Eldhi's broken body into something more of her liking. With the stem permanently embedded on the knight's right shoulder blade, constantly injecting Verm's influence, she turned the once defiant law-abiding yet compassionate Paladin into a ruthless, cold, and pragmatic warrior who would be the judge, jury, and executioner to her enemies. As of the moment, Eldhi, now simply nicknamed 'Sword', was standing by her new mistress. Her cold red eyes ever dutiful to respond to any threats even though they were safe in the manor's garden. One couldn't know for sure when an assassin would strike, she must always be ready to protect Lady Vermillion with her life. However, it seemed the violet-haired vampire had a task for both her and Alphabet today. Speaking of the latter, Eldhi grew apathetic to her, her hatred gone and so was her fondness. However, if Mistress wanted her to go with the brunette then so be it. "Yes, Mistress?" The white-haired knight listened closely to what Vermillion had to say. So, they were going to search for one of those rare Prism Shards. Her last experience with them was in Zalra, the fact she didn't have one with her now proved her epic failure when trying to mine them. She could always try again, this time for Mistress instead of herself. "I have encountered them before, Mistress but I had little success in mining them." Druuk Island, so their hunt shall start in one of Eldhi's most hated place in Terrasphere, the island of crime had nothing good in it, it deserved to be cleansed by fire and nothing else. However, orders were orders. "I shall not fail you, Mistress." Eldhi crossed one arm diagonally on her chest then bowed. Fun... she would let her plucky companion handle that, she could barely tolerate going into the damned island. It seemed Alphabet had finished with her meal, consuming a huge pile of cookies in a matter of minutes. "Let us go then." Eldhi sighed lowly, rather annoyed by the kunoichi's endless rant and poor time management. "Gu-...?" A light grunt escaped the fallen knight as the much shorter girl squeezed her in a bear hug, deceptively strong despite her tiny frame. "Come on now..." She wanted to be annoyed but... upon looking at those doe blue eyes, all she could manage was a small smile. "That we will, as long as Mistress is happy, I will do what I can." Walking together with Alphabet, the two began their quest into Druuk Island. --- Through the portal accessed by their roses, the corrupted Paladin and Kunoichi arrived at the aforementioned Druuk Island, a lawless lair of villainy, a place where Eldhi would have no qualms in slaughtering each and every scum that made their living by plundering, robbing, and murder. Observing her surroundings, Eldhi could see they arrived at the edge of the island's slum excuse of a port city. The smell of stale ale and clogged sewers mixing with the sea air. Even the seagulls looked sick and malnourished. Where in the hell could she find a Prism Shard here? Perhaps a crime lord would have one or two in their vault. "Let's go check out the nearest tavern, Alpha. See who's in charge around here, those shards are rare, not something the common thug would have." Eldhi suggested, "If they won't give us any information, let's just use a little physical persuasion to get through their dung-covered brains." @Alphabet Chocolate @Alice
_____Druuk island, not exactly the best place or the type of place Alice would go to without reason. Hands rested in her large sleeves, her frame hidden by the brown drifter cloak over her body to help keep people away from her in a slight attempted way anyways. She was here to find out more of the prism shards, a few rumors had lead her to this island in search of someone who knew more about them then Alice did. As the small faerin walked around a corner however she soon found herself running into someone and falling on her butt. _____Her hood falling to expose her hair and the fall having moved her prism shard necklace into few as she rubbed her butt and looked to see who she had run into. The first she noticed was a girl dressed like a ninja, while the other seemed like a knight. Looking down before frantically hiding her shard and jumping to her feet nervously. This island was full of bad people and Alice did not exactly trust anyone, much less two girls who she met on the dangerous island. Moving her hood back over her head before she tried to get away from the two. _____It was one thing to be a faerin on this island, and another to be the race and have something of value people most times wanted to steal hanging on your neck. Needless to say if they tried to talk to her Alice would go from slowly walking away to a full sprint to try and avoid some ill fate. Terror was one thing that kept her fit since she joined the game, and she was surely not going to let people catch her without trying to run away from them with everything she had. ”Think Alice, think… Tight areas and a lot of turns, try to shake them off and no matter what don’t get caught.” _____Alice took her own advice as she ran and started to throw things down to keep them from chasing her as easy, even if they did not chase her she was scared and paranoid. She should have just stayed in her forest and admired her shiny collection! @Alphabet Chocolate | @Eldhi
"Haha, that portal's so cool, right?" Alpha laughed as she stepped out of rip in space, bouncing onto the asphalt with a twirl and giggle. "It's like—wait, what?" her voice squeaked at the end as she some kind of projectile in the distance, quickly closing in with unnatural speed. Her body froze as the thing got closer and closer and she quickly ducked out of the way between some barrels. She quickly signaled for Eldhi to duck down with a series of pokes, exaggerated movements, and a faux butterfly swim in the air (you know, the thing they teach you in swimming school?). Her efforts to warn her friend stopped when her vision of the mysterious visage began to grow clearer and the blurred edges began to smooth into a defined, recognizable silhouette. "Oh! Haha, I thought you were, like, a missile or something! Why're you running?" she shouted, hoping the blonde-haired girl could hear her. She cocked her head to the side, confused, and waved. Hopefully the girl would notice. Unfortunately, Alpha couldn't see the girl's expression from this distance so she didn't know whether or not the strange, running girl had heard her. She shrugged and glanced at Eldhi. "C'mon! Maybe we could ask her bout the area and everything cause I've been to Druuk Island once or twice but normally it's just to try the honeyed clams and stuff! Maybe she knows where the souffle store is!" She grabbed Eldhi's hand and attempted to drag her closer to the incoming Alice. It'll be nice to make a new friend too while they were exploring! She wondered if Vermilion would've liked to play a game of Red Light, Green Light with this stranger. @Eldhi @Alice
"I suppose." The portal wasn't that cool, convenient yes, but cool? It was just instantaneous transportation. Still, it wasn't surprising to see Alphabet being excited at the tiny little things, hell, she was always excited, even when she was sad or angry, the Kunoichi was energy personified. However, at least someone had to take the task seriously or Mistress wouldn't be pleased. Since there were just two of them, it should be quite obvious. "Let's not dally, Alph-... eh?" Eldhi was about to take a step forward when she felt something... or someone bumping against her armored back. "..." In high alert - considering where they were - the fallen knight whipped around, one hand already gripping her longsword strapped to her back. A hooded blonde girl, those ears, and body size, a Faerin, what was she doing here? A pickpocket, perhaps? Or just a lost stowaway, whichever she was, she picked the wrong place and the wrong person to bump into. --- "What do you want?" She stared coldly at the blonde girl, taller frame looming over the grounded girl. Red eyes soon found a peculiar thing on the Faerin's tiny frame, there just hanging around her neck was a glinting crystal, the prismatic nature of the object revealed it was most likely the very thing Mistress told them to get. "..." What foresight, did Vermillion predict this encounter? So that was why she picked this location instead of more obvious ones such as Zalra. "Yo-" Before Eldhi could say anything else, the girl skittishly got up, covered her features, backed up, then scrammed away from them. "Haa..." The little Fae wanted to play hard to get? Fine, she'd return to Vermillion with the shard, whatever it takes. @Alice --- "Alpha," The Knight said curtly, eyes still locked on the small fleeing form, "That Faerin has a prism shard as a necklace." That should be enough to get the plucky Kunoichi to at least focus, "We don't need to ask her anything, she's our target." Eldhi took a deep breath, wincing at the stale air, then stepped forward, her boots thumping against the damp ground. "She wants to play hide-and-seek? Fine. I'll keep up with her, while you go take the roofs, cut her off. We'll corner her at some alley and then..." A dangerous glint from the sharp crimson iris, "We'll get that prism shard." Then a small resigned smile, "Then yes, we can play red light, green light with her." Once she got that shard, the Faerin would be of no consequence to her anyway. @Alphabet Chocolate
_____Alice just had to have the worst luck out there sometimes. Turning slightly to see she was getting followed by the two people she had run into caused her to panic and think the worse. Her small frame pushing everything she could to start running across the street all the while holding her hood and using her free hand to hit down anything light enough she could quickly use to block the area. Sadly that was not much, a few empty barrels and boxes, if she got lucky enough some animals noticed her troubled aura and tried to get free of their cages to peck or go after those chasing her. _____Her bare feet against the pavement was one of her greatest downfalls here as she stepped on shattered glass and held back a yell as the glass dug into her heel and sole of her right foot. Luck moving her left feet to the same area for it to have the same fate as the girl started to cry under her hood from the pain. Each step leaving a bit of blood as she tried to keep running and dove into a alley hiding herself in a barrel as quickly as she could and moving to cover her mouth. _____Her feet hurt, her breath wanted to be rushed out and loud, and she wanted to cry so much, but she was getting chased and wanted to get free of the pursuit before any of that. Sadly she forgot to account the blood train could guide them right to the barrel, even some of the fresh blood on the lip of the hiding spot as Alice trembled in fear. She should have never left home, the idea to log out not in her head in the moment as she simply tried to wait and pray she made a clean escape. After a good ten minutes if the two did not rush to open her spot she would poke her head out to check the area. @Alphabet Chocolate | @Eldhi
"Boo!" Alpha laughed, jumping down from her crouched position from the edge of the roof. The sight of the trembling, bloody fairy had left her biting her hand to stifle some giggles as she had waited for ten long minutes to finally confront the blonde-haired girl (after she had poked her head out of her little den). She leaned down and grinned before reaching out to try and yank the girl's necklace from under her chin. "This is my prize, right? Cause I won hide-n-seek? Eldhi said we'd get to play some more games right after so don't worry! Maybe you'd win one!" Alpha grinned before turning her eyes to survey the area, hoping to get a glimpse of Eldhi. She surely didn't try as she just shrugged and glanced back down at Alice a few moments later, an eager and wide Cheshire smile tugging at her lips. She pointed to Alice's bloody feet. "Oh! This is like Red Light, Green Light on, like, extra hard mode, right? Kinda like Dark Souls 8's reboot edition or something?" She licked her lips. "What's your name? I think Eldhi said she'd meet us here but maybe she's hiding or something or something or something or something...Oh yeah! What's your name, again? I think I just asked that question but I'm not exactly sure so, uh, I'll call you Bartholomew Michael Jackson Jordan Downey Jr. until you say it! And then we can totes play a few games!" She looked around. "Eldhi?" she shouted. "Where are you?" @Alice @Eldhi
The more she followed the Faerin, the more Eldhi felt that even without Alphabet's masterful rogue skills, she could track down the clumsy bumbling fool of a blonde easy. She made noises as she bumped into things, barrels, crates, and even if that wasn't enough, she didn't have the common sense to wear decent footwear. Injuring her feet, leaving blood trails, it was as if she was begging to be found. Eldhi didn't believe anyone could be so unfortunate and still live. Well, it looked like this would be the end of her. "..." Alphabet's distinctive cheery voice came out from the alley where the blood trail led into, well, of course, it wouldn't take a bloodhound to find her, a drunk pirate could do it. Eldhi entered the secluded dark passageway proper, easily smashing through the flimsy makeshift roadblock the Faerin put up and ignoring the panicking chickens. Eldhi's previously hunting red eyes relaxed into one of apathy. "Did you get the shard?" She asked Alphabet, "Oh good."" The white-haired girl wanted to return ASAP, no reason to say in this downtrodden lair full of criminal scum. She just had to convince Alphabet... somehow, someway. "Haaa... look, we got what came for and besides," Pitiless red eyes looked down at the sorry state of the Faerin's feet, "If you go play that game with her right now, she'd die of blood loss faster than you can finish a pile of cookies." Exaggerating? Hardly, she was bleeding in both feet and the girl was so small, how much blood could she have in that tiny body? "I say we go back now, I'll take the shard to Mistress. If you want to keep her as a toy, go ahead, just treat her wounds first, then you can play." It wasn't fun playing with a helpless kitten. Unlike Vermillion, Eldhi didn't enjoy toying with the weak. If she wanted to fight, it'd be with someone who could properly defend themselves, she'd defeat them fair and square with honor. "So, Alpha, give me that shard, then take us back." She held out her armored right hand to the brunette kunoichi, expecting her to see reason... which might be hoping too much. @Alice @Alphabet Chocolate
_____Alice could barely understand what was even going on from the moment she poked her head out of the barrel to check if she was safe. In moments she lost her necklace and soon after was barraged by words from the person who looked more like a ninja. Her mind not even able to fully break the words into sentences except for the last part of what the girl said, she was looking for the person she had come with. While the knight was far more scary to Alice she could understand her and growled a bit before she tried to get out of her spot reached to get her necklace back. ”Give it back…” _____Alice was quiet and shaking as she stood, both from fear and the pain in her feet at the time. But as far as she saw they took something from her that she nearly died to get herself. Listen to the knight more Alice could only growl more, it was not theirs to give to anyone. It was Alice’s shiny object and she was not going to hand it over or let them run off with it! Her mouth moving to speak a quick spell as weeds from the ground grew and tried to bind the knight and the other girl down. Not exactly the strongest but Alice was out of her territory and had to work with what she had. ”Not yours to give to someone else! Give me back MY necklace!” _____Alice would try to cast another spell to hopefully further lock down the people who took something from her. Alice just wanted it back and wanted to run away from them and try to find someone who could save her. Magic rushing into the weeds more as she tried her best to stop them long enough before turning to her necklaces and trying to get it back as best she could. @Alphabet Chocolate | @Eldhi
Alpha stumbled back when the girl had suddenly shown a bit more fire to her than she had expected. That stunned moment was all it took for the blades of grass and weeds to wrap around her ankles and, with a bit of magic, took a solid grip. She winced as she felt the weak material somehow bruise her in tandem with the blonde girl's unexpected burst of emotion. "Ow, ow, ow!" Alpha whimpered before turning a halfhearted glare at Alice. "I'm not the one who's supposed to get hurt, dummy!" Alpha pouted, crossing her arms and failing to stomp her feet in defiance as she was tied to the ground. Her eyes widened when she saw Alice attempt to pull together another spell and, in one quick movement, grabbed her dagger and sliced through her entrapment before bouncing back. She'd rather not be tangled in some weeds, mind you. It kind of tickled and being restricted was no fun. She tossed a glance over to Eldhi before suggesting a compromise: "Okay! So, uh, let's just bring her to Vermy's place and everything with the shard! Then we can all play some games and, uh, you'd get to go back to do whatever it is you do when you have nothing to do!" Teasingly, Alpha swung the necklace like a pendulum. It was as if she was attempting to entertain a cat (or a similar feline, judging from her mocking demeanor). She swung her blade in a few wide arcs, stabbing the air a few times, and bounced back and forth; a stereotypical warm-up scene from those boxing movies she loved to watch whenever the mood struck her. "En garde!" Alpha declared, pointing the tip of her blade at Alice. "Anyways! So this necklace is kinda ours now, sorry bout that!" she looked entirely unrepentant. "Buuuuuut..." She drawled, making the sentence last a tinge bit longer than it needed to be for some dramatic effect. She winked and bowed, as if she had an audience. "I'll give it back to you if you win a game! I mean, Eldhi and I could take you to Vermy's place and you'd be safe from those guys who were chasing you!" she lifted her hands up and curled her fingers to imitate a beast of some sort. A few chomps of her teeth and a snarl to demonstrate her point and she was back to her little monologue. "And then we'd have all the time in the world to play! And, if I win, then you'd have to go to my cookie party! I'm gonna invite everyone there and you'd have to come! Deal?" Alpha jumped forward, winked, and held out her hand right in front of Alice. She jabbed her other thumb over to Eldhi. "Gotta hurry though cause Eldhi wants to go ASAP and everything! Hurry! Hurry! Make your choice!" @Eldhi @Alice
Oh, it seemed the little Faerin had some spunk in her after all. Made sense really, even a skittish deer would fight if cornered with no way to escape. She almost felt sorry about how pitiful she was but she already made the mistake of going to this island in the first place, her being robbed was a long time coming. She should consider herself lucky, if it wasn't them who found her... worse thing might happen. Eldhi knew that Faerin slavery was still legal in a few places, the girl might find herself as a tradeable good if she wasn't careful. "Don't bother, save yourself the energy." Eldhi shrugged as she brandished her longsword, the edge shining with Illumancy's searing light, she cut through the summoned weed and vines like a hot knife through butter, she finished with not much ceremony but still kept the blade in her hands in case the girl tried something worse. "Apologies, I have my orders." The white-haired Knight didn't like it either, it felt wrong to take something from those who couldn't defend themselves. Had the Faerin was a warrior like Sharara or Stelluna, she'd challenge her to a duel for ownership over the shard. Nevertheless, Mistress gave her an order and it took priority above her wish for an honorable fight. Right now, she was more worried about her plucky companion really --- Fortunately, Alpha agreed to the win-win solution. Vermillion would receive her shard, Eldhi would fulfill her orders, and Alphabet would get her plaything. "That's what I said." The Knight huffed, sheathing back her sword as she looked back down at the girl's feet. Those injuries wouldn't do at all. As a small act of mercy, Eldhi cast a healing spell on both of her feet, mending the wounds and stopping the bleeding, she should be alright... for the time being anyway. "Alright, you're coming with us." Eldhi knelt down, giving a glare that basically threatened the Faerin to not overstay her mercy. She might have healed her but if she tried anything funny... Alphabet might lose her plaything. The knight's arms reached out as she grabbed the small Faerin, holding her in a princess carry. "We were the ones chasing her, Alpha..." Mentally sighing, Eldhi decided to not spend a tick longer in this forsaken place as she focused, the rose growing from her right shoulder-blade started to glow as a crimson magic circle spawned underneath her feet, the markings demonic and not at all holy. In an instant, the Knight, Kunoichi, and Faerin all but vanished from the backalley. --- Vermillion Manor Arriving in the familiar gardens, Eldhi let Alice down as she basically ushered her to Alpha, exchanging her for the prism shard necklace. "I'll go to Mistress, you... you can do whatever." Follow her? Sure, play with the blonde thing? Also fine, as long as the shard was delivered to Vermillion as soon as possible, Eldhi would see to it herself anyway. Whether Alpha (and her new toy) decided to follow her or not, Eldhi follow soon arrive at Vermillion's usual spot in the Rose Gardens. "Mistress." Spotting the arch-vampire, she bent on one knee, an armored hand holding the necklace for Vermillion to take, "Here is the Prism Shard you requested." @Alphabet Chocolate @Alice @Vermillion (XIII)
Vermillion Manor: Rose Garden Vermilion would be found as usual exactly where the fallen knight would have expected her to be. However the noble was in a somewhat foul mood. The reasoning was likely beyond the understanding of a mere minion, treasured or not. Vermillion was munching on a cookie and letting crumbs fall onto her plate. That was very unheard of for the elegant crimson noble. Seeing the arrival of the girl she dubbed 'Sword', her mood slightly improved upon hearing of success. "Excellent. It does look like you are falling into your role quite well. Now let's see it." The knight's hand opened to reveal a single glimmering shard. Vermillion smiled and did not show immediate signs of anger. She reached and took it into her hand. Looking at it before dropping it right back into Eldhi's with a slightly indifferent look. "One shard. There was a time when that would suffice. That time has passed. Still.... " The vampire stood and knelt right next to Eldhi. Her hand fell onto her shoulder. "You are a much more efficient person now aren't you? I told you I wanted to make you better didn't I? Just that it is for me, the pleasure of watching you evolve. Such a cold yet pleasing face to gaze upon. Beautiful armored death. Hmhmhm..." She stood back up and continued. "Sword... no... you are a indeed a Saber to destroy that which is less than ourselves. Such as filthy males...." "Idiocy levels nine. Vermillion they brought back someone. A female Faerin. Compatibility level four. Possibly not worth keeping." The monotone voice of the Over Watcher filled the air. Vermillion placed a finger to her lips as she heard this and said to 'Saber': "You brought a friend? I suppose that ABC is entertaining her.... of course. The game she wanted to play so badly. Hmhmhm. Well, I shall have to see for myself how worthwhile this one is. I certainly have been getting a lot of new blood lately. Hmhmhm..." Vermillion walked past the knight and suddenly her face would grow very dark, almost turning into her shin state. She reached out and took a entire vine of roses. Her face lightening up only after a short tense moment. Her voice called back to Saber. "Come my treasure and watch the birth of a new person. Regardless if this one is worth my collection or not. I need to relieve a bit of stress. Hmhmhmhm... pity." @Alphabet Chocolate @Alice @Eldhi
_____Alice still struggled to make sense of what the girl was saying, she was far to rapid for Alice and when she managed to get something together here ‘choice’ was not exactly her own as she felt herself get lifted and when her mind gathered once more she was in a garden and panic resumed flooding her mind. All of her emotions started to jumble together causing her to mostly be a mumbling mess. When she noticed the garden however one emotion was far clear, fear. This place was not something made by a simple naturemancy mage, and it just screamed bad in her head. _____Turning to look around to see herself square in the middle of some of it and her mind worrying just who made something like this, and why she was dragged her to begin with. When Alice got her head back on straight she looked around for anything she could use to protect herself. Most times if she gave a pull with magic she could tell what was around to be used but this place blasted her pull right back, she was helpless in the field of magic. A slow exhale as Alice stood as proud and straight as she could. _____Her eyes still told she was terrified but she faced her own death two times already in this game, like hell would she let the third get to her. Hands rested at her sides, her hair waving slowly as she noticed a new person who was holding roses. If this was to be her death, by roses and their vines she would face it with everything she had. Slowly stepping forward towards the woman and gulping her fear back down before she spoke. ”If I’m going to die get it on with… I have faced death enough times going back to that spot is nothing to me anymore…” @Alphabet Chocolate | @Eldhi | @Vermillion (XIII)
Alpha tilted her head to the side and had her lips pursed—confused. "Why'd you think you're gonna die? It's not like we're gonna eat you or anything and...oh! Oh, right! Haha, better get your bloody little feet all stitched up and clean or else you'd die of blood loss or something, right?" Alpha grinned, proud of herself for working out the girl's cryptic, puzzling words. "You're pretty brave, though! I mean, you surprised me a bit already and you're kinda fearless! I died once, you know. Didn't really take to the experience but look at you, you little daredevil! Got a taste of the afterlife and now you want more! You could be the next Bear Grylls; you probably won't get that reference cause my grandpa used to force me to binge-watch old movies and shows with him..." It was a common fact among those who had met her that Alphabet Chocolate was a talkative brat on a constant, never-ending source of candy (that was probably connected to Kirby's endless stomach) that could babble on and on about absolutely nothing for days on end. Her constant stream of unintelligible sentences, however, seemed to have reached a new record today with how fast and long her gibberish had went on. "And!" Alpha continued, pausing for a wheeze and a gasp of much-needed breath. "There ya go! All fixed and ready!" she grinned. In one of her petite hands was a roll of toilet paper and, in the other, a vial of some sort of foreign concoction. If Alice checked, she would see that her health bar should have been replenished. Alpha shoved the potion into Alice's hands. "There ya go! I snatched it off of Rudolf when he wasn't looking and I'm pretty sure he wouldn't miss it! He has, like, a thousand of those potion thingies! Anyways~" She stretched out her arm and pointed in the direction where Eldhi had left. Alpha had found little interest in presenting the shard to Vermilion (although she was absolutely loyal to her very best friend, she knew that Eldhi was certainly capable of delivering the precious prism shard on her own; not to mention that Alpha had been eager to play with Alice). "We gotta go invite Eldhi and Vermy to the game! Oh, and maybe I could rope Annette in here too! I'll explain the rules to you later, okay? Uh...what's your name again?" @Alice @Eldhi @Vermillion (XIII)
