The Crimson Mistress was pleased with her and knowing she had lifted her grumpy mood pleased Eldhi in return. Even though it was just a single shard, it was still better than nothing, certainly one more than the fruitless searches of the 'dynamic duo'. "I shall find more in the next opportunity, Mistress." Eldhi grasped the shard back as the vampire returned it to her, storing the thing in her inventory for safekeeping until she had the chance to store it in the manor's storage. For the time being, she would accompany her mistress. "That is true." The tanned girl looked up as Vermillion held her shoulder, the one with thorny vines traveling on it, ending with a blooming red rose just above her right shoulder. "You have certainly opened my eyes." Those silly notions such as love and compassion were foolish, mere naive dream of a child, she was no longer that child. She was a true upholder of the law now, "It honors me to serve as you want me to be, Mistress." She dipped her head slightly at being given a new nickname. Saber... it did sound less like a mundane title and had more flair to it. Hopefully, this one would stay. Their little moment was interrupted by the soulless, flat voice of the strange girl with the giant eye appendage, only known as the 'Over Watcher' to the manor's residents. She wondered what did she mean by 'idiocy levels (9)', and why did she think of Ice Fairies for some reason? Nevermind, the follow-up statements were true. They brought back the blonde Faerin. Eldhi had no business with her really. Still, she was the one who suggested them to bring back the girl just so Alpha could stop wasting time in the lawless island lair. "Yes, she was the one who possessed the prism shard. Alphabet wanted to play with her on the island but I didn't wish to delay any longer. I suggested she should just take her with us and play the game here. Forgive me if my decision displeases you, Mistress." Saber explained with an apologetic bow. Nodding, the white-haired girl stood up, following closely behind the shorter, yet much much older, girl. "..." Idly, her red eyes noticed the rose, the very same rose that was planted on Alphabet's left ear and her right shoulder. So... she would sire the fragile, meek girl as well. Saber had to admit, she was curious how the Faerin would become once awakened. --- Moments later, Eldhi arrived at the particular spot in the gardens where Alpha was cooing with the Faerin, well they were both of the same height anyway, but the former was a young girl and the latter likely an adult by virtue of their races. "..." Saber simply gave Alice a death glare as she made her defiant statement. Oh no, Mistress wasn't going to kill her, she should just make it easier on herself and accept her fate, Vermillion only wanted the best for her treasures anyway... well, except to those who failed her too much. Eldhi agreed, those who were deadweight or worse, a malcontent, should be eliminated for the good of all. Let's hope the Naturamancer would choose wisely... @Vermillion (XIII) @Alice @Alphabet Chocolate
Vermillion did not accept nor reject the apology for the decision. The arch vampire was focused and had only one goal in mind for tonight before a long rest would come for her. This poor new acquisition, she would would break her so fully and completely. However... it would also be increasingly painful this time. Vermillion arrived where Alphabet and the new girl were. The youthful face of Vermillion beamed a inviting smile to the girl. Even though the vampire's eyes were showing a far older and much less inviting look. No need to put much effort to disguise things this time around. "Hmhmhm... welcome to my abode. I see ABC has been enjoying your company. Perhaps I can be granted the pleasure of hearing you r name?" Vermillion approached with the roses and her smile slowly faded. She looked at the short girl who was so gracefully dressed. Upon seeing her in person. Vermillion's impression of her improved slightly. She did always prefer the more feminine ones. Truly priceless to make them as sharp as the roses thorns themselves. The girl acted brave but it was obvious that she was beyond frightened. Fear... these girls... even that disgusting male Vermillion had turned into a bloody pile to feed to her plants. None of them knew true fear or pain... "You say that, but you seem frightened? That's not very considerate. ABC is playing with you and I have come to greet you myself to my home. Return? Hmhmhm ah yes that... you are one of them then? How wonderful. I seem to be gaining a set." The vampire reached out her arms almost like giving a gift. The rose vine was wrapped around her arms. Several of demonic plants began to tremble on the vine. Her smile returned, showing her fangs to the girl. "So.. .ABC. You have power over plants as well don't you? This game is something you may enjoy then. Watch carefully! Hmhmhm, how long can her body resist going unconscious from torment?" The vines shot from her arms and wrapped themselves around the Faerin. Thorns dug through the prisoners arms, legs neck and forehead. Vermillion kept her own hands holding her end of the vines. She began to twist them in her hands while watching. Vermillion wanted to see her scream, beg, bleed, suffer. This was like a fine wine for the noble. Normally she only wanted this to such a extreme for males. Sometimes though she just needed to have a quick fix. Vermillion needed to vent some stress, this was going to be simply delightful. "How does it feel? Maybe you're a masochist? We can make it worse!" Vermillion lifted her off the the ground by the vines and tossed her against the manor walls. The vines having been thrown out of Vermillion's hands. She walked up to he girl who was now on the ground covered in twisting razor sharp demon roses and bleeding profusely. "Hehehe. Do not take this the wrong way I just had a less pleasant day and you happen to be here. Your offering has been that much more fulfilling... you are quite becoming, I just want to make you so much better!" Vermillion knelt down and ran her fingers in the blood puddle beneath the girl. Then moved her hand to her lips and opening her mouth. The blood magically flowed off her fingers and down her throat. Vermillion petted the Faerin afterward. "The pain can stop now. See? Hmhmhm. Let us see if I can kill your fear and anguish forever. Feel at home....my treasure." Her body glowed crimson red as the vines literally sunk into the cuts they had made. Vanishing beneath the Faerin's skin. Only one rose would remain seen on the surface but without a doubt this would be a much more extreme experience for this 'victim'. @Alice @Alphabet Chocolate @Eldhi OOC: Spirit is free to close the thread here, post then close, or we can have a final cycle.
_____Alice was now convinced she was not meant to experience a peaceful life. From the moment the first thorn puncked her skin Alice’s appearance turned south and she whimpered her foolish idea to pick real pain setting was going to be truly dangerous as with every thorn, with every tightening of the vine she cried out in pain. Seeing her own blood only made her panic and lock up, watching her body get wrapped and punctured was not a death she would ever want to see. Nature was her ray of light, yet now it was killing her. _____Alice wanted to cry out, to ask for mercy or a quick death. Sadly such was denied as Alice felt the veins coil into her mouth and he voice unable to escape. Frame lifting before she was sent crashing into a wall, thorns digging deeper and Alice desperately trying to gasp for air. Her eyes covered by blood as she tried to look at the girl who spoke to her. Bad day or not to do this to someone else, Alice could only start to cry and worry for the girl, that was until things changed again. _____She could feel her world crumbling around her, the sickin feeling of her dark side rising both scared her and started twisting her mind. She did not want to be evil or mean, but whatever this thing that was now stuck to her was had started to draw things to the surface and She was not going to let it happen without a fight. Hands reaching to claw away at the roses and the area around it trying to remove it from her body. She could only feel the sting and her heart burning as she started curling up. _____Her body falling flat, head facing towards the ceiling before she started yelling out in pain. Her frame arched backwards as she raised her hands to hold her head trying to stop the pain. Everything she tried to fight the rose only made it worse on her mind and harder to bare knowing this was happening to her. She did not want to be trapped by her darkness, not willingly like she would be if she stopped fighting, so her only choice was to forget… Her mind dragging up memory after memory from both game and reality and destroying them. _____The names of people she knew, the faces of the doctors, the real world entirely removed from her mind but the pain was not gone yet. Deep down she knew, even without memory of being good her heart still knew she was wrong to be evil. Hands began to claw at her chest, trying so hard to rip her own heart out to avoid the pain she would have to live with. Be it normal or a special case with her the rose took this chance to fuse into the girl, right to her core and she felt her pulse stop. _____Hands reached to her mouth, air unable to enter as she began to suffocate and felt more pain then she had before. She did not want a slow death like this. Frame twitching as she gasped for air trying so hard to not die like this. The rose tangling her heart and turning it black, her magic reacting to the changes as it poured out of her body. Black aura coating her skin and further sending pain as it felt like she was getting burned alive in her own skin. Her tanned skin turning pale as snow. _____Her once life filled sky blue eyes turned red and lost all signs of emotion. Blonde hair burned to black ash tone before the magic let go of her. Her last bit of air fading out of her closing lips before air rushed in causing her to gasp, unsure if she would get another chance to breath. Her mind felt blank as she panted lightly reaching for her face with her left hand as her right tried to support her weak frame after everything that had happened. Gaps in so many places, the lingering pain in her mind and body caused her to growl. _____Who was she, what was she doing here, why did it feel like something was hurting her deep down? So many questions crossed her mind as she staggered to her feet and could only growl lightly. She felt empty, nothing made any sense and everything around her felt foreign and strange. Eyes scanned the area around her searching for anything that might be able to make things less odd to her. She was an empty shell, a blank canvas, and above all long since lost from her past self. She tried to think of anything to fill the blankness in her mind. ”Ver… Vermillion… Serve… Serve Vermillion…” _____Who was Vermillion, why did she only think of serving her? She held her head and tried to walk before falling over her own feet. Nothing more came up when she tried to think, only the single thought to serve someone named Vermillion. She tried to think of her own name, where she came from, how she got here. Nothing but blank and darkness in her mind as she felt herself start to tremble. Was she scared of the dark, nothing rang out in her mind to confirm or disagree but as she kept trembling and just tried to ignore it. _____Slowly her focus rose to a women, not much taller than herself but clearly older by the glow in her eyes. The one memory in her head pulled at this person, are they Vermillion? Slowly attempting to rise up even slightly once again, frame falling over and breath rasp and staggered. What reason was she to serve, how far was she to serve this person, why her? So many questions clouded her mind causing her to growl loudly. Magic flaring out as the stones under her began to decay or float from the pressure of magic. ”Ver...million… ...Order…” _____Even if she was barely able to stand the only thing that gave her peace was the idea of serving Vermillion. Maybe it would lead to her memories, maybe it would bring her true peace after some time. The girl did not know if this was true or some other force toying with her from beyond her reach, but it was all that made sense and as such she would start there. Deep in the darkness she heard the faintest shouts but paid them no mind, the words making no sense as She knelt before Vermillion on shaking knee and ready to fall over at any moment. ”Serve… Vermillion… First… ...Order? Loyal… To Vermillion… Till death… And… Beyond...” @Alphabet Chocolate | @Eldhi | @Vermillion (XIII)
Eldhi merely stared in a cold, pitiless gaze as Vermillion began toying with the Faerin. The knight stood by as the Arch-Vampire unleashed the thorny appendages upon Alice, her Fel Naturamancy manipulating the vines with ease as they quickly took hold of the blonde's small limbs, puncturing into her delicate skin, drawing fresh crimson blood. The Mistress was being rather cruel today even though the girl looked to be her ideal 'taste', young, feminine, cute. It wasn't difficult to assume that she was merely venting her sour mood from earlier. "..." Eldhi turned her gaze, following the Faerin's thrown body, crashing into a wall then unceremoniously falling back onto the ground, her spilling blood pooling underneath her small form, then, Mistress decided to end it all with the same process she inflicted upon Alphabet and Eldhi, albeit in a slower, crueler method. The girl squirmed, writhed, and wailed as agonizing pain struck her. What a pity. If Eldhi could be so honest, she didn't have the same enjoyment out of torturing the helpless. What happened to herself was preferable really, she was given a chance to fight, to defend herself, even so far as managing to cut the vampire twice before being defeated... then 'recruited' into her ranks. Vermillion deserved the victory but this... this was simple torture, nothing else but to satisfy Mistress' urges. However, she was her Mistress, whatever she wished, she wouldn't protest. She might not like it personally but her own wishes were irrelevant in place of Vermillion's. The fallen knight remembered something about the roses having different effects on those they 'awakened'. For Alpha and Eldhi at least, there were no notable physical changes. The little Faerin was different in this regard. Her eyes, hair, and complexion all turned into the opposite color. Sapphire irises to crimson, light golden locks to ashen black, and healthy tan to pale white. "Huh..." Eldhi noted that aside from her dark hair, Alice now looked like her real-life self, red eyes, albino pale skin. The transformation seemed over as the Faerin started mumbling broken words, calling out for Mistress' name. The moment she stood up and seeping out a dark aura, Eldhi instinctively went for her longsword, brandishing it as the edge shone golden. She was ready to cut down the girl if she tried anything hostile against Mistress. The rose should awaken her to the truth but it seemed to only partially succeed with this one. Eldhi narrowed her eyes as she watched Alice's every move. She only slightly relaxed when the now dark-haired pale Faerin submissively knelt down. Good, serve Mistress with your life, for only she deserved your loyalty. This was your fate. OOC: Alright! This should be Eldhi's last post in the thread. @Alphabet Chocolate you can either make yours to close it or just immediately submit the thread for completion.
"Oooh!" Alpha stared at the transformed Faerin with a mixture of curiosity and wonder swirling under her brightened eyes. She was simply transfixed by the sight of the girl's transformation; a sight which she had never once witnessed during her time serving Vermilion and the time before (although the latter didn't really matter anymore and she hardly saw a difference between those two time periods anyhow). Another grin wormed its way onto her face and she clapped her hands in delight. "Wowzers! I still don't know your name but it's like we'll be great friends Bartholomew Michael Jackson Jordan Downey Jr.!" she bent down to face the kneeling girl who had found a place within Vermilion's home. "It's too bad," she shrugged, sighing sadly as she turned away with a downcast cloud raining down on her. "I really wanted someone to play with. Oh well. I guess it's okay as long as Vermy is happy, right? Plus, you've got Eldhi and me to show you the ropes! Maybe we'll get a nice costume change for you, too, since you look like a completely different person! Never knew Vermy's flowers could make someone change that much; maybe I should just gather a bunch and see if I could transform into a dragon or something!" She gave a curt nod over to Vermilion and Eldhi before briskly walking out, waving adieu to Alice without a single glance back. "Man, I must look so cool right now," she muttered underneath her breath.
