  1. ”Nyaaaarrrgh!” Utterly fed up with the little rainbow bastard, Aria’s feline eyes narrowed into dangerous slits much like an angry tigress would. The Felis Ranger skulked around the forest, breaths rather heavy, huffing and puffing with mixed rage and humiliation. This would be the last time she’d suffer embarrassment by the foul-mouthed bastard!

”Die!!” The Felis perked up and quickly launched an arrow the moment her keen ears picked up its distinctive annoying high-pitched screech!

...and due to her emotions, her aim became worse than before as she didn’t even hit the broad side of the barn. Fuuuuuuck...

  2. Her hunting performance so far had been abysmal as Eldhi’s digital inventory was still bereft of prism shards. The Justicar was better suited to acquire the gems through looting the stashes of pirates or gnoll tribes, not sneaking around in a secluded forest in hopes of hitting a talkative prismatic bunny. However, orders were orders and disappointing Mistress was the last thing on her mind.

Still with the zealous tenacity she maintained ever since she arrived here, Eldhi wordlessly attemped another sword wave as the Wabbit darted past her, incessantly taunting.

...she missed but by this point, it was no longer a surprise.

  3. The sound of a couple of tree branches being rustled, shortly followed by the sound being emanated from all over the place can only mean one thing: the wabbit’s back. And this time, it’s back with a vengeance.

However, at the speed of its current movements, it seems that careful scrutiny of its movements would prove to be useless. Elmyra’s eyes can barely follow its afterimages, let alone trying to see its all-but-invisible body as it darts around all over the grassy plain. She decided, almost on a whim, to abandon all pretense of calculations for instinct, pure reflexes and muscle memory.

Catching the familiar rainbow-colored blur at the tip of her right foot, Elmyra reflexively lifted said foot in order to at least scratch it. The end result looked something like a kick – a rather weak kick, but a kick nonetheless – that can hopefully catch the wabbit off guard. Hopefully.

  4. More wabbit hunting?
    More wabbit hunting.

Somewhat motivated by the prospect of somehow getting a bite out of cooked prismatic bunny, she searched around for a rainbow trail.

She missed the last time, so she decided on using a smaller, faster spell for a better chance of hitting the thing. Maybe when she could land one she could start thinking about how to capture it so that she could cook it.

Sure enough, this magical rainbow rabbit sped by. Sylpha attempted to recite the spell she wanted to fling off her memory and fire it in it's direction. Due to it being one of her first attempts at casting a spell directly from memory without help from the system, she didn't expect good results.

But it was her best bet, anyway.

The annoying little creature would see it was being hunted and run extremely fast out of the area. It would be impossible to catch it for awhile.

    "HEY THAT HURTS NUMBNUTS!"

(Keep a eye out for it's return....)

Suddenly the branches of a nearby tree begins to move and shake. A blur of rainbow light shoots from it and begins to once again zigzag all over the woods! Hunting time!

"GOTTA GO FAST! RAINBOW BUNNY SPEEEEDS BY!"

  7. Even though she had failed thrice in a row, Eldhi didn't see it as a reason for her to give up. For the Wabbit constantly made its appearance every so often, meaning it truly existed instead of a wild goose chase. She saw how other adventurers managed to hit the speedy thing. Therefore, she just had to bid her time, be patient, and at one point, her time would come.

Concentrating on giving her a little bit of time to aim her light wave this time, Eldhi tracked the bunny's movements first, made easier by how prismatic and shiny it was. "Hmph!" Then like clockwork, she launched an Illuminant wave.

As expected, she missed. Would she give up? No, never, until the Wabbit either disappeared or lay dead at her feet.

  8. "Oh come now, wabbit~ Don't run away. Come to me and come to play!" Prancing amongst the shrubs that seemed to be good places for an unusual critter to hide, Lady Briar wouldn't give up that easily! Whether it was through trickery or deceit, or simply jumping upon it's writhing body, she was going to capture the pesky thing! There was no ifs, ands or buts- she wanted that rabbit, and she wanted it now!

Feeling like she found it in a place she could corner it, she began to sing in a somewhat off-key, playful tone. "Ring around the bunny~ colored lots and funny~ ashes, ashes, now you'll fall down!"

It wasn't actually a spell, but she hoped that the song would distract the rabbit, with the help of her horrible brilliant singing, so that she could grab it in her hands. "Don't you think you'll be lucky, being my first slave?"

  9. This was getting ridiculous, and Mizuki was starting to get seriously annoyed. She was trying to remain calm but the idea of some random rainbow rabbit being able to evade nearly everyone was so ridiculous that it was getting on her nerves less because of actually being insulting and more just the sheer... What the hell. Gritting her teeth she watched people once again try their best to hit it, even as it just kept running around at really insane speeds. Eventually she'd manage to hit it, and she hoped it would be as sweet as she was anticipating it to be.

Seeing the rabbit pass by Mizuki doesn't waste the opportunity and immediately tries to punch it.

And once again she missed to the extent of never coming close.

  10. Megan's ice based barrage, merely bounced off the rabbit's crystallized skin, shortly before it took off out of Megan's eyesight. "But...but.." she moaned, "It was so cute..." Disappointed but still determined she began to pace back and forth through the area looking for the creature once more. After all, if she had seen it once here it was possible it would return. However, when she was least expecting it a colored rainbow burst in front of her, covering the immediate area in a glow of light. Wasting no time, Megan thrust her staff in its direction, mumbling a few words and letting loose a wave of icicles aimed at the creature.

  11. Alright, it wasn't just a temporary thing. The rainbow colored wabbit had engaged in hyperdrive permanently, dashing through the grasslands with afterimages left in its wake, a smoking path trailing it as a ring of condensed air formed around it. Supersonic. The monster must have actually been going faster than the speed of sound. At a distance it still looked as if it was possible to hit it, but those with melee weapons must be going through a special rainbow hell right now, trying to smack such a monstrously fast beast.

Arcane light burst from his hands again, Cain going for the good ol strategy of carpetbombing the area with all of his magical might. Quantity over quality. After two misses and one hit, the midnight-haired muse was going to even the score, come hell or high water.

    "Eat this!"

  12. Terrific, the rainbow devil has returned, he thought.

With the "Wabbit" dashing around the field once more, he was unable to concentrate on hunting monsters again. Just looking at the foul-mouthed creature was enough to irritate him for disturbing his alone time. At any case, he decided to give in the creature's taunting as he raised his sword and quickly charged in to chase the "Wabbit".

As he did, he made sure to follow the patterns of its movements to make sure he can get the right time to strike. Once it saw this, he swung his sword in an attempt to hit the rabbit this time.

  13. "A rainbow rabbit!?" Sean was thrown into a miniature sense of panic from the sudden appearance of the Wabbit. "I need to focus, this is a prime target for getting loot." He focused his efforts on reading the Wabbit's patterns to make sure he could land a hit. "So how do you move around...?" After studying the movements of the creature, he suddenly realized a crucial detail in his mind. "So this creature is extremely nimble, meaning I don't have a large chance to hit it. I need to predict where it's going to be ahead of time so I can score hits... Let's do this!" he yelled out as he slashed at the Wabbit.

  14. The rabbit had managed to get hit before, and Solaria wasn't going to stop trying to hit it again. She'd seen how those before her, whether with skill or luck, got something special for their hard work in touching the colorful new craze. Though she couldn't care less for politics and sensibilities (well she could, but who needed it in a game?) the woman opted to stay quick on her feet until she felt herself stop still in the terrain. Digging her feet into the dirt, she drew her sword and held it above her head, before calling out a battle cry with a strike aimed right for the critter's head. Would she get the 'point' she desired so, though?

  15. Amane vaguely remembered trying to pin the rainbow coloured creature down a couple of months ago, to no avail: all her attacks had missed, crowd control didn't work if it couldn't even surround the creature properly before it made its escape, and those couple of hours that she had poured in had gone to waste...not that she knew what defeating it would have dropped as loot, but it was the principal of the matter. This time, though, she was determined to try and land at least one hit on it — she'd grown a lot since then, surely her accuracy had improved enough to deal a blow against the creature? With the shortest chant that she had at her disposal, the felis threw out a bolt of arcane energy at the iridescent rabbit.
