    SUNSHINE SALVES

On a small plot of land in Astorea not far from Dormont, a small shop sits made of stone and petrified wood, a single story and not very large for the moment, a quaint appeal all around. The door, with no lock to be seen, is often kept slightly open, almost as if it cannot be closed. Through the windows, one can see an array of shelves and counters, each covered in bottles labeled with a cautious hand.

In recent months, Solaria has hired some NPCs to help her out at the apothecary...

img A secondary alchemist who primarily does the restocking and tending to the shop when Solaria's away on business or a quest. She's intensely quiet and tends to stare at people without thinking, watching them closely to study them. Always carries a journal, which includes notes about anyone that comes into the shop. Even if she won't say it, she knows your name!

This thread is RP flavor only. Items from this shop cannot actually be used or put into your inventory. They can only actually be used if Solaria is with you in a thread where they're applicable

Sitting in the back of the shop at a small desk with a mortar and pestle along with some empty jars, a young elfin alchemist was grinding herbs with a mass amount of strength in her crushing arm. Though she had plenty of wares in her shop already, the woman never seemed able to sit still. Every time a customer would come, she was quick to greet them and help them find what they needed- but when there were none, she was fairly taunted by the silence.

Upon the sound of footsteps, she stood and turned towards the door with an unusually vibrant smile that didn't quite fit a business, but was rather personal instead. "How do you do? How may I cure what ails you today?" Her lips never leaving her grin, she kept her eyes upon the form that had entered her store. Having just opened recently, she was glad to have customers, even if she was a little sad that her skills were needed. "Whether it's for your health or a booster, I can surely give you something of use."

"Stop wasting time, come, this way. That.....woman's shop is down this path."

Seto signed heavily, still annoyed to Christina's hypertivity and immaturity, the sight of her running among the path examining the vegetation for any possible herbs and the sight of looking at him made her giggle. Seriously what was with this woman? One minute she could be serious than the next minute she could be a child that would start bouncing off the walls due to all the sugar she ate. He sighed again slightly as Christina began running towards him giggling, why was he putting himself through this? He cringed slightly as his teeth grinded against each other, the thought of doing things like this now annoyed him greatly. He knew he couldn't say no to the Mayor of Danwgrave whom had taken him in as one of his own when he had spawned in Dawngrave for the first time, after all he did feel attached to the town and it's people and that was a place he shared precius memores with Alia whom now he hadn't seen in a long time. He closed his eye's when he brought up her name in his head, It had been such a long time now, perhaps it was time to.......

"Hehehehe Come on you Grace, this way!"

Losing his train of thought, his eye's shot opened as he looked down, seeing Christina had grabbed his right hand forcibly move him down the path with her. Had anyone else done that, there might of been a chance he would take them down for doing such a thing, luckily for Christina she was an exception due to the incident that occured some time ago.

    Seto
"Stop this at once Christina, I order you as Duke of Astorea."

Still pulling him behind, she looked back behind and stuck out her tongue at Seto before pulling on his hand harder. This woman was really testing his patience, thankfully the stop was in the distance, only a short walk away. He stll didn't understand why he had to travel with her from Dawgrave in Brisshal all the way to the Dormont and Castle Dormont when she was now skilled in light magic, she could easily fend off low level trash like bandits and highwaymen. Again there was no time to ponder or think as Christina giggled her head off again, only this time louder than before.

    Christina
"OH MY GOD, WERE HERE! COME ON LETS GO IN YOUR GRACE!"

At first she tried sprinting towards the door while pulling Seto but she only fell on her behind, turning around she pouted angirly at him, Seto simply stared at her with his cold exterior as was usual, he didn't move, and it became aparrent he wasn't go to play her games anymore forcibly taking her hands off his.

    Seto
"I've done what is required of me, I have no intention.....of seeing that woman."

    img
    Christina
"Why not? She's super fun! And and we can talkg about times of stuff.....well besides those topic's yeah..."

    img
    Seto
"I don't deal with women like her.....She's even worse than scum and I don't deal with scum......Now and do what you need to, am done here."

Christina shrugged her shoulders as she watched Seto walk back up the path they had just came from, she wouldn't even bother this time to go get him, whatever she did to get him think this way was bad and she really didn't want to see Seto's bad side again even If it wasn't Kurama. Turning around again, she stared at the rancher style store before spriniting to the door and barging in like some child. Looking in all directions, as soon as Christina saw her, she booked it and jumped over the counter and tackled her while hugging her at the same time.

    Christina
"HEY SOLA! LONG TIME NO SEE RIGHT!?? I came all the way to see you, I was hoping you could teach me what you know. The Black Duke was with me but he didn't want to come in, you seemed to do something really bad that he didn't like so he walked back up the path once we got here......anyway HUGS!"

  3. Solaria was actually startled as she fell over from her seat, suddenly below a familiar figure that didn't quite fit her voice. "You startled me, Christina!" Timidity took her lips as she managed to her feet, pulling the young woman up with her. Unlike Solaria, Christina was a local of this world, and she rarely traveled alone.

"Oh, so Seto was with you until now? That explains a bit." Smiling somewhat, Solaria couldn't help but wonder just what Seto was mad about at that moment. "He doesn't want to see me, hrm? So he's either not happy about how the fight with the Troll went or it has something to do with that tavern day I still barely remember...I bet it's that. He's mad I don't remember much. To be honest, I feel like I should be more mad than he is about that, though, based on what I heard later on."

Shaking her head, she realized it was pointless to try to understand the man in question. "I'll happily teach you some alchemy if you want, but it's not like I'm all that good yet. There are tons better than me. But, if you'll have me, I'll do my best. Maybe we can figure out a potion that'll cure Seto of his temper~ Well, at least it's nice to dream."

  4. Christina shrugged her shoulders after she picked herself up from laying on Sola.

    Christina
"I dunno, He called you worse than scum or something like that? I dunno, recently there's been alot of rumors about, some of them are just funny since he's been acting weird by others. You could ask him If you ran down the road I guess If you want to ask him."

Christina then went quiet for a moment, she had to rethink what Sola just heard, she obviously was too excited when Sola first starting talking since she hadn't seen her in such a long time but now that the initial shock was over probably for the two of them. Her eyes widened when she reread Sola's words into her head about the Troll?

    img
    Christina
"Whoa, whoa, whoa wait a second, Your telling me you guys killed a Troll? You mean that Elder Troll that was attacking Dormonty or whatever it's called a while back? You guys barely managed to kill a pigmen.....wow you guys are so strong now"

She than remember the Tavern and the fact Sola told her she could barley could remember that evening, combined with her knowledhe that she like Seto nearly made her fall over herself. There was only one thing they could have done If she had forgotten about it and Seto didn't want to come in, Her face turned red as she shook her head violently while she covering her eyes with her hands.

    img
    Christina
"OH MY GOD SOLA! THAT IS SO EWW! WHY WOULD YOU WANT SEX???!!! EW! EW! EW! EW! JUST UCK! Doing adult things like that, someone hide me!"

  5. "Down the road, is he? I can't leave my store not managed, though. I don't have any staff quite yet, after all..." She had to think it through. Direct messages to people on one's friends list were a thing, weren't they? Maybe she'd just use that- but then again, it might confuse Christina, who was a native of this world.

Well, it wasn't like Christina hadn't seen her use weird hand gestures before.

    img
    SOLARIA
@Seto Kurama, you're really trying to avoid me when you escort a lady right near my door? That's rather rude. Even if you don't like someone, you can still say hello. Don't be a spoiled brat about things. And what's this about calling me 'scum', hm?

While she did include some emoticons, such as a huffing face the best she could make, the alchemist's focus returned to Christina and her later ramblings and curiosity. "It wasn't just us. There were a bunch of adventurers that took part in the battle. Actually, Seto and I both collapsed at the end from exhaustion, and the weaker fellows all worked together to carry us somewhere to rest after it was done. Some very nice people, they were. It was definitely quite a battle, though."

Thinking it over, she realized that some of that anger of Seto's could be related to the battle. After all, she'd managed to blind herself with her magic at one point, and couldn't heal him quickly when he needed it- even if, eventually, she did get to the job at hand.

"You do know I'm an adult, right Christina? I know I'm spunky, but adults do have energy still. We're not all dead inside." Her words were said with a bit of laughter, though her face was deemed a slight red from the memory, or lack thereof. She had heard only the rumors of what happened at that tavern, and to be frank, she was quite irritated by them. "That said, doing such things with someone I like while under alcoholic influence, especially when I didn't even want to drink it...It irritates me."

Placing her hands on either of the girl's shoulders, she gave a rather cold, stern look into her eyes. "Promise me you won't drink too much when you drink someday, Christina. Don't let anyone force-feed it to you, either. You're a really cute girl, so there's no doubt in my mind bad people will try to trick you into things. Don't be like me. Always have your guard up, even with friends in the midst of intoxication. Understand?"

  6. He couldn't walk fast enough from this place, he just wanted to return to Dormont Castle to contiune working on his plans, this whole trip was a pain in the ass and a waste of time. Seto nearly fumbled when he heard a beep from his UI, curious he opened to see he had recieved a message from Sola, he rolled his eyes to the right, of course she would send him a message about being rude and asked why he called her scum. She didn't seem to know he knew more than he had let on and he had decided he had no intentions with dealing with a person like that anymore. He decided he would send a message to her than that would be it, Christina could tell with her from now on.

    img
    Seto
"Hmph you don't understand anything do you Kelly? You scum? No that would be a compliment in comparison.....no......instead you're worse than scum itself, your a whore and I don't deal with whores or their presence. I know what you been doing whore and I want nothing to do with your presence. I suppose I gave you too much credit, you may have been a fool, an impulsive idiot surely but I thought you at least had some value's Kelly but it seems am wrong. Don't contact or approach me, I want nothing to do with you, If you do, I will kill you without remorse or mercy."

Christina eyed Sola after she had sent her message, she wasn't sure what in oblivion was going on between her and Seto, eventually, she just decided to give up, she didn't really care, after all, it wasn't her problem to deal with. Walking up to Christina, at first using her index finger to poke her shoulder, slowly she continued to poke her shoulder faster and faster until she got Sola's attention.

    img
    Christina
"SOLA!!?? EERRRGGHHH COME ON GIRL! I Didn't come all the way here for anything, I want to start my lessons! I want to save people like you and stuff. Come on you annoy Seto later friend."

Christina's face started to become red again as Sola began explaining to her that she was an adult and needed to "Burn Energy", the more she explained, the more like she felt like vomiting, especially as Sola started to laugh and began to turn red herself. She did try to justify her actions she didn't like sex when she was drunk in the tavern but Christina didn't believe her one bit since she knew how Sola was at this point, a little flirt and a little open. The words "Didn't want to drink it" seemed to go straight for Christina's stomach when she meant drinking stuff towards sex. That's it, she couldn't hold it in any longer, hopping over the counter Christina sprinted as she could for the window......unfortunately she tripped on a large crack on the floor and went flying into the wall. What came next would be disturbing to everyone, crashed land onto the floor on her back, Christina erupted like a volcano, spewing green and tan liquid from her mouth to the floor, mouth and her cloak. After she was finished erupting, her head fell back, her eyes looked back at Sola.

    img
    Christina
"ugghhh..........wh....why..Sola? Why must you hurt me...with your dirty mind?"

  7. The message she got seemed to burden her, but what had more of an affect was when Christina seemed all too aware what the weird gestures she'd been making to use the UI entailed. "Wait...You knew what I was doing just now?" She showed the actions, though not using the mail system anymore. Giggling a bit, she hugged the girl closer.

"Normal folks don't seem to know what it is. I'm impressed more and more every time I see you, Christina!" Pulling away with a smile, she opted to give the lessons the girl so craved. Her teaching method was oddly good for a normally idiotic girl. She was the type who could think in small steps when she tried, and as a puzzle solver in her youth, she knew how to treat someone with both the affinity of a child an adult.

To her, Christina was like a cute little sister. It was only natural she'd help her the best she could!

That feeling grew as Christina looked ready to barf thinking of 'adult things' like the birds and the bees. She seemed to be unaware of Solaria's meaning at one point, however, leaving her riddled in confusion. "So, I don't know what that means...I mean he and someone else were drunk and forced some liquor down my throat. I was telling them to stop drinking, not to give me some. That other stuff's all a blur...And apparently, the memory I seem to be blocking out is so major Seto refuses to talk about it. He said to..."

Wait, what he'd said to do was talk to Christina about it. Why would he do that if it was about that time at the inn? Her head fell against a wall as she stood by it, a low grumble leaving her lips. "Christina, this has nothing to do with the tavern. He made it sound like it was something you could tell me in terms of why he's so upset. Tell me, do you think he knows about my...'trip'?"

  8. Christina's mind felt like it was whirlwind, she couldn't stop the dizzyness in her head, the constant movement made it almost impossible for her to think clearly, let alone take in what Sola was talking about. She was laying on the ground still in her own vomit and the back of her head felt like it had smashed open yet she only cared about what Seto thought of her? And now she was aking her for what Seto meant? How would she know? She knew better than to barge into the Duke's affair's even If he did care for her just as he didn't barge into her's or Dawngrave's unless asked.

    img
    Christina
    "Uggghhhh.......you know........Sola........your a meanie!.......I mean.......like.....your friend here.....injured....and sick in all........and you only care.......about some......boy you like!....."

Christina pouted and sighed in disappointment as she continued to star at Sola while laying on the ground, she felt like crap and her head hurt really badly, she really didn't want to get up. She turned her head to look at the ceiling, raising the palm of his right hand, she closed her eyes and controlled her breathing to relax, ignoring the pain, trying to concentrate her thoughts into words she could say. She was sure Sola saw her as a little sister but right now as Sola had hit her head against the wall grumbled, it seemed she had to use some of the wisdom her mother entrusted to her.

    img
    Christina

    "ugghhh....lets just....face it.....sis.....you like Seto......I mean......like....like him you know?.....you bad......at....lying....you know....right?.....I don't know.....Probably......I mean come on.......It's Seto......It was....his thing......from the beginning....to know everything.........and now he's......a Duke...of.....Astorea now......its kinda........his job you know........to know everything........why would you....be any.....different"

Christina honestly had no idea what this "trip" was that sola was talking about, maybe she was talking about some journey or job they did together? She learned a lot from Seto what a player was but she didn't know anything that could help in this situation, maybe Sola did something or a number or maybe there was trait she had he couldn't stand? She thought seriously as she rolled her eyes back to Sola.

    img
    Christina

    "I....think you already......know.....the answer......Seto or the Black Duke......has known you since.....well when you first showed up and all.....I don't know......but I mean.......he's......watched you......grow and all.......just like........me........why do you think........he protects me.......and Dawngrave?......why do......you......think........he's.......so harsh......on......us?.........aw sola.......not you got me......all sad......no fair"

Christina pouted again, she came here to hang out with Sola and do cool stuff with her but it seemed it had come to this, she really didn't want to talk about this anymore even though her eyes said differently as her tears began dripping from her eyes to the ground.....If this is what an adult goes through, she never wanted to go through it and grow up! These emotions......these thoughts....were too much for her to bare......Losing her mother was already bad enough, it made her stronger and her mother passed on some of her wisdom in her last moments but dammit she didn't want this......any of this!.....She wanted to stay a kid.

    img
    Christina

    "Look....just forget what.....I said ok?....Help your little......sister up....ok?......I wanna do......fun stuff.....learning from.....you.....not this.....old people stuff talking......about feeling......and stuff."

The sound of lighting caought her off guard, she turned her head to look out the window as the sky's tears began to drop onto the ground.....today was something different.....that's for sure.....Christina thought.

  9. Seeing how dizzy and off Christina was, even as she stuttered choppy sentences to try to respond to the woman's own inner conflict, Solaria let out a soft sigh and pulled her off the ground, hugging her tightly. While her sad smile had her lips curled awkwardly, she was beginning to rest her mind. What surprised her most was being called 'sis'.

"You call me that because I mentioned my brother once, don't you? It's a shame. I'd be quite lucky to have a cute little sister like you." Using her fair strength, she lifted the girl off the ground and placed her in the chair that the elf once had been using to pound her salves into place.

The girl had a point, after all. Solaria did sense it, even if it was small and hard to understand. She'd started talking about Seto in the real world- something she wouldn't tell him, of course- and it hadn't been just Seto's teasing in the past or Christina's present words that made it clear she was remembering things she didn't intend.

"I know you don't like talking about feelings...But you know, they're very important as people. It's not only true for adults." She began to show Christina a special, mysterious little recipe she had. A recipe that used a mixture of unusual ingredients that weren't normally mixed together, but that she'd found surprisingly useful.

Feelings flowing through her, she giggled a bit. "I fell in love with a boy for the first time when I was your age, you know. He was a bit like Seto...Strong, hiding his darkness from anyone that tried to get close...He too said he hated me at one point. But...Rikuo...He didn't actually hate me. It was a part of me he hated. He hated that, back then...I didn't actually smile much at all."

Her mind reminisced on his irritation and her tears. She was using a lot of strength to pound a variety of herbs into a mush. At times, she asked Christina to pass her things from a nearby shelf, mixing some liquids into the 'batter' as she would soon call it.

"I bet I denied my love for Rikuo just as much as I've denied my interest in Seto. It was this mixture, a tonic my friend's mother used to make...It was this mixture that settled my heart, and helped me accept that which was too difficult to bear. I think it'll help you relax just as well. It tastes bad normally, but when shared, it can be tolerable. I'm hoping it'll calm that dizzy spell of yours...and relax me enough to stop bothering you with my adult problems."

Finishing it up, she poured the mixture into two vials, holding one to her 'sister' friend while downing the other one whole. "Still as bitter as I remember, but somehow, there's a sweetness to it...Must be that berry juice I added. I only added it for flavor, but it seems it worked out quite well."

  10. Christina flashed her eyes over her shoulder as Sola grabbed her and sat her sickly and frankly disgusting body on a chair nearby before Sola squeezed her body in a tight hug. Sola was enjoying this now a bit too much aparently, going as far as asking her she called Sola her sister since she mentioned her brother? Who was her brother? She had difficulty thinking still, from little brain power she couldd harness, she didn't remember any brother of Sola, only a mother she had mentioned once about curing medicine? She couldn't remember, her head was pounding too much to remember much of anything recently unless it was a big event or something like that. She did like the thought of being a sister to someone, she didn't know how It felt to have a sibling or even a mentor, frankly she hadn't much of a family at all besides her mother, her father was an unknown to her. If Sola wasn't hugging her halfway to death right now, Christina might have actually enjoyed their time together right now......oh and the adult stuff too. She knew what it was being taught by her mother and Seto at times but in general, she just didn't like talking about it and Sola just talked about it so casuall, it was sicking to her.

    img
    Christina
    "Ugh.....uh thanks...but......ugh.....CAN YOU.....STOOP.....HUGGING ME!....YOUR....GONNA KILL......ME!"

Christina exhaled heavily after Sola finally released Christina from her graps, thank goodness! She felt like she was going to die, now she could breath at least. She fell back into her chair sighing as Sola started to talk weird adult stuff again, was she trying to drive her nuts again? Christina was beginning to believe Sola was trying to drive her nuts, maybe Seto was right when it came to this? She didn't really know what to do about it, she really liked Sola but why couldn't she act normal like everyone else?

    img
    Christina
"Am ok.....with feelings.....but.....you always bring up....gross stuff or......you.....make no sense. Sola.... your.....not normal, you....know that right sis?"

When Sola started to giggle and began to talk about boys AGAIN, Christina really just pouted deafeated, she was obviously wasn't get anywhere with this knuckle head clearly, it was like she had a stone wall up or something. It did make more clear to Christina why Sola was attached to the Duke but even still, surely they couldn't be that similar could they? Her face saddened when Sola told her the boy that she liked didn't like her, it was the opposite, he hated her instead. She could see it maybe? Sola's mind did seem to wander in places it shouldn't but how could anyone hate her?

    img
    Christina
"Uh.....Maybe.....it's the same with.....Lord Kurama? I mean you havn't told me......what ol scary........seto had........sent you to be.....this....upset but If it's like that......boy, roku or whatever that meanie's name is......maybe it's the.....same yah? Seto watched over me for......almost a year like a father.......of sorts, I......wouldn't say he's raised me or.......anything like my mom but while he is super.....harsh with certain things like talking.......to boys, he is fair I......think. I know he's some.....evil knight and all.....but it seems like he isn't himself or something, I......don't know.....sis. I remember him telling me once.......that he was a necessary evil? I dunno.......what he meant, do you know? He doesn't seem.....like a evil meanie."

Her eyes started to watch Sola's hands as they contiuned to pound and bash whatever Sola was making in her porter. From time to time, Sola asked Christina asked her to get a few common ingredients ingredients from a nearby self, she would have to get off her little butt and give them to Sola. She started to talk about this Rikou guy who ever he was and Seto, Christina decided to just stay quiet until she was done talking about them, she did want to try and understand Sola even though Sola was hard to read how she said things and described them. It looked like she could relax a bit as Sola finished making up some herb for her and mixed it up into a few vials and offered her one. Christina stared at it with her head tiled to the right slightly, she wondered why it looked so uck looking? Sola mentioned it wouldn't take great but still,,,,,Christina for a few moments hesitated before finally grabbing and gulping it down. "It tasted like someone's butt!" she screamed out in her mind, she stuck her tongue out and tried whiping off the medicine in the viral with her hands but she didn't seem to get anywhere, she lowered her head immediately in defeat.

    img
    Christina
"That....uh.....tasted like butt.....buuuuttt.....it seemed to work, thanks Sola. Also I don't any of this denying stuff with boys, it just sounds.....weird yeah....maybe you should stay away with boys If you they don't like you or ones........that just want to gross adult stuff."

  11. She wasn't sure why she didn't realize it at the time, that Christina was so frail and struggling. The last time they'd met, she was a very energetic person. Sure, she wasn't a fighter- but she was strong of heart an definitely not lacking as much breath.

"Sorry about that. But...What happened to you anyway? You're so skinny you could be mistaken for a stick. Are you even eating?" She wanted to talk more, but her worry was overwhelming. Even when the girl downed the disgusting goop, she smiled sadly, keeping a close eye on her 'patient'.

Hearing the girl become a bit more stable and complain of the taste, Solaria broke into a small fit of laughter. "I said the same thing ages ago. It's not quite the same, but it uses the same primary components as a medicine my friend's mom always made me drink as a kid when I got sick. I'd complain, and she'd say 'it's medicine, if it tasted good it wouldn't be good for you'. So think of it that way, for the moment. Besides, your color's already improving at least a bit."

Looking back at things said in her frenzy, she could talk a bit easier. That said, it was clear it wasn't on Christina's agenda, either...And Christina wasn't doing well, so it was best not to burden her further. Even the impulsive Solaria knew that. "I'll do what I used to and make Aylen help me find an answer. After all, I can't say if Seto likes me or hates me, even if he acts one way or the other. As you said, he's a harsh fellow even with those he cares for. So, instead, let's continue the lesson when you feel a bit better. Mind telling me what's got you so ragged?"

  12. Sola's words and her staring were beginning to creep Christina out......alot to the point she crossed her arms covering her chest while she blushed and closed her eyes before she yelled ot

    img
    Christina
"wh....What ya mean? I've always been so skinny! Stop staring you! You and your gross adult stuff In your head! Of...Of course, I've been eating! Why wouldn't I? I've just been busy being the town's main healer now, I've got big shoes to fill now you know.....It's not all about having fun anymore."

"Oh no" Christina muttered as she watched Sola break out in a small fit of laughter, what was it gonna be now she wondered? Boys? adult stuff? Nope for Christina's mind, it was medicine instead. She sighed in relief but yet again became confused by all this talk about her mom and medicine, she still barley understood magic from when Seto explained it and than, only a few moments ago, she was drinking something her mom made her? She stuck her tongue out at Sola when she told her medicine wasn't capable of tasting good, that was belloni! She and her mom had made drinkable herbs taste ok, not to taste like butt! Who would want to taste butt anyway? Maybe Sola liked that type of stuff She stuck her tongue out again and nodded her head again, she did not want to think about that again!

Christina felt like killing herself again at the topic of boys again, Sola was really not good with men, Christina didn't think Sola knew that, she began to pout again at basically hearing the same darn thing over again, the only difference was this Aylen person. Who was that? Why does Sola always act like she would know these people, it wasn't like she could tap into her mind anyway.......wait would she want to do that anyway? Now that she thought of it, Christina wouldn't want to do that anyway.

    img
    Christina
"Sis........you never make any sence, you know that right? You act like am supposed to know these people you talk about and all yet you don't explain them to me, Who is this Aylen? another boy ucckk.... I only know of Gil, some boy Seto mentioned who wants sloppy thirds......whatever that means, I mean I like chilly too but I don't think I could handle eating thirds...I dunno"

She tilted her slightly while she shrugged her shoulders.

"So yeah....right, lets contiune this lession yeah!.........Wait ragged? STOP SPEAKING FROG SIS! I don't even know what ragged means and it effects me?.......I am so lost.........your trying to kill me aren't you? with all these weirdo questions aren't you?"

  13. She was fairly certain the girl was hiding some sort of secret, which lead her to memories of her own youth, when she regularly hid her own problems from her mother. That said, she also understood why one might hide these things- but this wasn't the kind of hiding she would expect from a girl her age. For someone hating 'adult content', this girl was far too mature and adult, working so hard.

Did that mean she was going to end up growing backwards like Solaria appeared to peers?

Shaking off the thought, she waved her hands before her. "Aylen is a girl, actually, and my childhood friend. I just automatically bring her up sometimes because she's like a sister also, like you are. As for Gil, I don't know what he's talking about exactly. Now I'm gonna have to bug both of them to figure out if I missed something when I passed out after healing up the wounded at that battle..."

Either way, that wasn't important, not at least in regards to Christina. What mattered was getting her healthier and keeping her occupied. And maybe learning how to speak frog, since apparently to those in this world, she certainly sounded it. Why was she so apparently bad at wording things?

"Not trying to kill you, just being a good doctor or nurse. When someone is exhausted and collapses in front of you, you don't just sit around. You find out the source of the fatigue."

  14. Christina eyed Sola from the edge of her eye out of confusion, she really couldn't tell If Sola was messing with her not? Maybe she was just dumb? It culdn't be out of the question could it? It was like Sola knew what she was talking about than she go the opposite route and play dumb abd act like she didn't understand. Her brain felt like exploding from all this thinking, why was thinking like an adult hurt so much?? The pounding in her head wouldn't stop pulsing from all these qustions, Christina didn't think she ever understand Sola and how she did things in her mind.

"Sola......your gooooiinnnnngggg to kill me! Stop messing around would you??!! I mean like one minute you act like you know what your talking about than you tell me you dont, I think I need a new head from all this pounding you know......And this healing battle thing.....Did this Gil and Seto fight or something? I can't see anyone beating him in a fight."

Christina than remembered what Sola said afterwards, about being a nurse, what was that again? And.....what is a Doctor? Was that some sort of door or device a nurse used? WHY won't Sola stop using weird words? Christina must be not from this world or something If she kept saying all theis weird suff, she couldn't believe she was from Seto's world yet they acted completely different from each other, maybe Sola was from another, another world, How else would this make sense? unless she was dumb she guessed.

"Seriously can you stop saying all this weird stuff, I don't remember what a nurse is or what a doctor even is. Is that some sort of cool, special equipment or a door or something? Can you learn to be normal now sis, otherwise your mumble jumbo other worldy talk is what fatiging me. You should be normal you know? So people will like ya, I don't wanna be a meanie sis but you sure people like you for you or is it beacuse of another reason. ughhh.....Now I want some of that white liquar the adults drink, my brain going to explode now or something."

  15. While Christina meant well, her words irritated the usually soft elf. Most people she met actually did understand her, or at least, they claimed to and could repeat what she said to be understandable right back. She never quite understood why Seto didn't comprehend her words, though Christina she could understand.

What was wrong with her words, she wondered? Was she just talking too fast, so they blurred? Was it that her purposeful use of more simple words actually made it harder for those younger than her? The questions raced through her mind. If she really was the cause of the girl's grief, however, surely she wouldn't come to see her.

"If you're comfortable calling me 'sis', I can only assume you like me. After all, we're not related by blood, but by friendship. If not, why else would you come here? Even if we're from different worlds, we have familiar hearts, don't we?"

Finding a pen and paper, she began to write down some of the words she often used and their meanings, thinking a dictionary might just help. "Where I come from, these words are normal and day-to-day. It's not likely that far from where Seto is, such our access to this world is limited to one part of our own...But perhaps because we've led different lives, the way we speak and view things is quite uniquely separate."

Ripping the paper out of it's holder upon writing the meaning of some of her 'medical jargon', the girl smiled to her tired friend. There was still quite a bit to ask, but not enough time to get the right answers. Not while she was at work, at least.

"Tell me, what brought you here in the first place? You came to learn to make potions that I can make...But now, knowing they taste foul, perhaps we should focus on finding a way to make them go down a bit better? If you teach me what counts as 'normal' for you, I can teach you what's 'normal' for me, so we can blend them to make sense, like these potions."
