  1. Today is another wonderful day, a day that Beatrice herself looked forward to as she just recently rented a small patch of land from a NPC in order to teach young adventures how to fight with a weapon. It was strange for her to take up such profession of becoming a weapon arts instructor but nonetheless it would also allow her to grow as well and develop her own techniques. While the Duke Kurama would train her from time to time, she grew fond of the idea of teaching others, allowing them to grow and develop their skills before setting out into the dangerous world.

While it is true that her current occupation would be a Medical Nurse, it wouldn’t hurt to try and learn self defense techniques and anti-personnel skills. Though it was a shame she couldn’t learn how to use magic, perhaps holding a weapon arts training center twice every week was more than enough time she can fit into her daily schedule. The basics of attack and defense, evasion and counter offensive all of those shall be taught here in her dojo. There were a few who had taken interest in this training dojo, others were set on different time schedules because they had other responsibilities. Lady B can only be seen wearing her Nurse’s outfit as she has grown fond of it ever since coming to Terrasphere.

She prepared the proper training equipment and the training weapons that she borrowed from the Astorean military and sat there as she waiting for her student(s) to arrive. At first she was quite nervous but the moment she held the training rapier, from an innocent smile came a confident smirk on her face as she practiced swinging it around, lunging it forward, spinning around as if trying to formulate and practice her own fighting style.

“I could get used to this” she said to herself as she put the rapier away and proceeded back to select another training weapon. The puppeteer who was to help her arrived as they would be in charge of controlling wooden manikins to fight.

“Yes! This is perfect! Thank you very much!” she cheered towards the puppeteer as the man couldn't help but blush.

  2. img _____Kaedé was not sure if it was the best idea or not to seek someone else’s help with training to be honest. But as she looked towards the location of someone offering to train others she felt turning back now would just be a wasted trip and figured maybe one lesson would not hurt. To be fair Kaedé was still having to restart her training with the katana, the game not allowing her real life training with the weapons to count causing a slight frown as she watched the illusion of her spirit partner drift in front of her.

”Maybe it is some cute girl you can ask out on a date after as thanks. You could use more girls in your personal life, woman are what give life meaning!”

_____Kaedé would blush hard before laughing at her astral companion as she drifted around the girl and seemed so adamant about her claim. After some time the spirit would drift through the door and Kaedé would open it to follow the eager ghost. The two inside would only see Kaedé looking at the air beside her, to the Astramancy user she could see Phanta’s jaw dropped a bit before the spirit flew over to the girl waving her hands wildly at the nurse outfit and her figure.

”LOOK AT HER! You better ask her out for dinner after you fight! This girl is HOT, like real fire from the fire realm HOT HOTTY HOT!”

_____Kaedé's face would turn bright red hearing what the spirit had to say and looking over the woman. Her hands waving several different symbols before the Phanta vanished from her sights and the girl tried her best to block out any words the spirit had to add to her statement. Looking to the ground as she tried to speak up for herself.

”I heard someone was offering to help people train with weapons… If this is the wrong spot sorry for intruding... “ Kaedé would try to lift her focus but only took notice to the girl’s frame and quickly moved it back down, Phanta just had to go and make things odd for Kaedé again.

  3. Standing up tall and proud with both her hands on her hips and happy with these arrangements, Lady B has all the necessary materials needed in order to train new recruits of the weapon arts. And just when things couldn’t get any better, her first pupil arrived. Her eyes glimmered like the stars in the heavens as she walked towards the red headed female.

“Yes, that would be me! Don’t worry about it, you’ve come to the right place please come, I insist!” she motioned her over to come to the fighting grounds where an inanimate wooden puppet was ready. “Basic beginner’s stances go first! Thank you for coming by the way, I’m Lady B the current weapon arts instructor but you can call me Beatrice if you want, and your name is?” She blinked waiting for them to say their name.

When the red head would introduce herself, she motioned over to the box filled with training weapons. “Pick your weapon of choice and we’ll get started underway!“
Beatrice cheered as she stood on the field with a training sword in hand. For now the puppeteer will have to wait until Lady B gives them the signal to animate the wooden doll.

“So formalities first, I am Lady B the instructor of the Astorean training camp had taken the role of teaching newbies and adventurers who wish to wield their chosen weapon or rather find the right one for them that better fits their fighting style! We all know that out there the world is dangerous, perils lurks around every corner and who’s say what you’d have to defend or fight against? That’s why I’m here!” She cheered as she made a small jump with her fist reaching out for the sky, looking vibrant and filled with energy.

While it almost look as if they’re experienced, perhaps they are here to criticize and evaluate her teaching skills? Or was that just all a cosmetic to make her look like she’s been in the game for a while? Either way she isn’t going to fail her job, there was no pressure and sure enough if she manages to train her first few students in this facility, she’d gain reputation for the Kingdom of Astorea.

“When dueling against an opponent you must have a proper stance, in case your opponent so happens to be faster than you, a single strike at your blind spot and you’d meet your maker before you even respond! Reflexes help but from how you make you stances saves you a single second from danger!”

  4. _____Kaedé would not fully see the hand movement to approach but the small sight she did get from it was enough for the girl to try and iron her nerves and approach with her head lifting up to look the other girl in the eyes. Hearing the girl give her own name and ask for Kaedé's caused the girl to tap her fingers nervously before mustering the voice to reply to such a simple question. Hand nervously moving to twirl her hair as Kaedé blushed a bit.

    ”Kaedé Hoshi…”

_____Kaedé would listen and walk over to get out a wooden sword, while it was not her first choice of a weapon she felt it would be best to stick to something simple and not fully in her memory on how to use. As recalling with the Naginata she would often forget to dial herself down to beginner level and burn energy needlessly to try and perform some of her more advance tricks learned in the real world. Hearing Beatrice talk about speed and blind spots Kaedé sort of moved on her own.

_____Her rogue mastery triggering sneak as she rushed a quick half circle to get behind her instructor and tapped the tip of her weapon to where Kaedé often called ‘the hook zone’ or where most bras Kaedé had taken from girls would be held at. Noticing what she did Kaedé mumbled to herself and backed away bowing her head and blushing. She was here to learn and her body decided to go back to the old perverted ways she was trying to escape from at the drop of a hat.

”Sorry… I’ve spent some time playing the game and focused a lot into my rogue mastery… Did not help me much once I got caught so I came to try and make sure I’m not as useless when things come down to the wire…”

_____Kaedé would move her weapon to rest over her shoulder as she spoke, her face still covered in a blush for what she did and now even to the point her mind was starting to imagine the girl with less cloths. Shaking her head wildly to try and stop herself from thinking such things and even going as far as trying to talk her mind out of it. ’That is your teacher, you can go having a relationship with someone like that back where you are from even if they are the same age as you or close…’ The thoughts only making it more embarrassing to have thought such things as Kaedé nervously moved her foot to kick the air.

”Anyways… stances… I know some for other weapons but my game skill in the mastery does not exactly align enough to use them without my mind going overboard and burning to much energy on something more advanced than I could handle… Hence why I want to train with a sword for now until I feel I can move to a Katana…”

  5. Just as when she was about to turn to her, she suddenly disappeared from view, only to feel a light knock behind her that caused her to squeak. Startled and breathless, Kaede explained that she’s been in the game for quite some time and focused on a rogue mastery instead of a weapon mastery. So she was talented but the mention of the terms, game and mastery confused her as she pretend to know nothing of what she’s talking about. However this only tells Beatrice to take her training seriously to a whole new level.

“I see well while its nice to know that your obfuscation skills are top notch, what if you’re caught and put on the spot? That’s what I am here for!” She smiled as she made her stance, she wanted Kaede to fight like a soldier and remove the speed factor. “We all have our upsies and downsies but its good to have a second skill just in case!” She nodded over to the puppeteer, signaling him to ready the training manikins for combat.

The man phased two hands forward, commanding 2 manikins to stand up from the sidelines and draw their melee weapons. Beatrice stood beside Kaede preparing for simulated combat. “A katana can be heavy at times, and mastering its sword techniques require discipline or so I have been told by my previous teachers!” The manikins prepared themselves for combat, soon Beatrice and Kaede would engage on each puppet.

“Sometimes there are enemies that would try to leave no openings, hence it’s imperative to take them head on and..” with a few consecutive strikes, she slammed her blade onto the hilt of her opponent’s weapon and disarmed them with an upper hand stroke “Disarm them, however specific weapons may allow you to fully disarm a weapon just by having sword locks or anything that allows you to intercept their blade, gotta be careful of those.”

The puppet Beatrice was fighting picked up its weapon again and attempted another attack, this time Beatrice took her sweet time defending and intercepting its attacks. Her footwork and repositioning were that of a squire but doable and on the level of a recruit ready to fight the frontlines.

“Footwork, breath control and acknowledging your opponent as an equal, never underestimated or overestimated” she pushed the puppet back and turned to the offensive this time, this time attempting to land several pokes on it, all of them blocked but a single hit landed on its shoulder.

    “Hah!”

  6. _____When the dolls started to move Kaedé had a brief moment of shock at the sight. It was not exactly something she was expecting to happen but as they started to approach with weapons out she forgot this was a train session and fumbled her weapon to get ready. Her mind trying to piece together what information she had on the weapon she picked out. Sadly the time she was trying to think left her open to the first hit on her arm causing Kaedé to growl a bit and swing as hard as she could at the doll to a fruitless miss.

_____Kaedé was easily draw to her temper still as she kept swinging and using most of her weight in each strike as she mostly focused on attacking the odd thing before her. Kaedé was not so good with such things, if it was new or looked dangerous she only really focused on attacking it. Such became clear as day as the doll got a clean second strike to her neck causing Kaedé to back step and try to catch her breath. Kaedé did not look to happy to now be two for zero against some doll.

_____Unless Kaedé was pulled back or the dolls stopped Kaedé would lash back at them giving up on trying to fight still. Frame moving quickly as she used her agility to clear up her clear dislike for stance or planning. Weapon slamming into the puppet’s arm as hard as Kaedé could before moving her right foot to kick it away and aim a second slash as quickly as she could to the neck as she growled loudly. She was sadly more like a wild animal or loose cannon in fights.

  7. Beatrice pushed the puppet off to take a look at how Kaede is doing, as it stands, she isn’t used to wielding a weapon, however her ferocity is remarkable. Kaede was a fine fighter but the problem is that she finds difficulty in calming down, what more when she doesn’t possess a weapon mastery. Beatrice signaled the puppeteer to stop as he drew the puppets away.

“You’re quite something Miss Kaede” she smiled at her as she prepared a stance. This time Beatrice won’t be caught off guard.

“You’re good when it comes to pacing but I think I see the problem here. Can I evaluate you personally?” She raised her wooden sword and faced Kaede, her eyes locking with hers making sure that whenever she moves, whatever she sees, Beatrice can follow regardless of speed. While on the level of a trained recruit, Beatrice knows something others don’t and that was a certain mastery over oriental medicine, basically possessing some knowledge over pressure point areas. While having to come into the virtual world, she had to make sure that such elements were present when it comes to fighting. Primarily such would fall and benefit the pierce mastery but her mastery was different from that.

There are 3 points that Kaede doesn’t guard and yet compensates for her speed in hopes to dodge.

    Proper breath control
    Proper footing
    A prepared stance

“Here we go” She made a simple attack, a vertical strike.

  8. _____Kaede would keep growling for a moment as the puppet was pulled away from her, weapon still tightly held as she rose up to stand fully but kept a low tone growl going, seemingly not trusting this odd form of magic in the slightest. When she heard Beatrice speaking Kaede did not fully register it, slowly turning to see the girl aiming a weapon at her was not exactly the best way for her mind to start clicking gears. It was not helpful when Phanta decided to meddle in matters and make things worse on Kaede who was trying to connect the missing dots.

_____The spirit worked on Kaede’s mind, turning the wooden weapon into a real blade, the shine off it adding to Kaede’s struggle to fully connect things back to a reality leaving her to assume that the girl was planning to seriously attack her and that training was not the plan at all here. Moving to hold her weapon with one hand Kaede would dash forward quickly towards the strike, weapon turned to cross from shoulder to shoulder, pushing it against the oncoming attack with everything Kaede had while her free hand moved quickly to do the only thing Kaede could think to defuse the situation.

_____Nimble fingers moving quickly, hand attempting to remove a layer of clothing from the girl to force her to react to such rather than fighting against Kaede more. It would even take her a few moments after the fact, successful or not to notice what she had tried to do, and moments later fully recalling what Beatrice had said. Turning as red as possible she fell down to curl into a ball and kept her focus on the ground, hand moving to offer the clothing back if she did manage to steal it before speaking.

”I am so sorry… I still cant stop acting like someone I used to know… and at times I can’t think straight enough and my mind jumps to worst case… not to mention having a magic that allows a spirit, or rather numerous spirits to mess with me to make things worse…”
