Zelrius's long golden hair flowed in the breeze ever so slightly, each step bouncing it lightly as his shoes clicked along the dirt path. This was nothing like the paved streets in and surrounding the larger cities in Falderen. No, this was clearly less developed, but easily way more laid back. When the trees of the inner countryside melted away into Farmland, the man's face lit up a bit. He recognized this place from a task he had done with a man named Alric not too long ago. It was vague, but something to do with Turkeys. Then all the thoughts came rushing back; The eggs, he helped hatch. Well, help was used loosely. Zelrius had made a makeshift nest and then handed it to Alric, allowing him to do quite all the work, and then both of them sat around a barn for a few hours until the eggs hatched. Yet, even with his minimal effort, Zelrius still felt the rush of excitement having actually done something in this game that was all too new to him. Yet the excitement of remembering such events quickly melted away when he remembered how it ended; No payment. He had come to this world in search for glory of sorts, a way to take his mind off of a woman that he had long missed now. There was the downside to this place; it kept reminding him of that said woman. He sighed, trying to dismiss the thoughts, his expression re-hardening to the point of solemn and somber. The early morning sun rose up in the sky behind him. He had logged on early today, wholly stuck in a rut in his life where had nothing to do but this, and putting in the occasional hours at a part time job. Though today was a day off, so why not come into a fantasy world and experience it like he had so many others. But unlike those others, he was alone in his adventures this time around. No bubbling group of friends to keep him company, just Zelrius. Zelrius had a new plan in mind. He decided that for the first time since being in Terrasphere, he'd use the weapons that he started with. The two basic Sabres on each hip, that he kept nicely clicked into place and locked, yet to meet the flesh of an enemy. So, thats what he was off to do, wandering down that same dirt path along Brisshal that he had so many times before. It was a peaceful road, mostly. Occasionally bandits and goblins would raid it, but it seemed that both of those were toning down due to the recent events of two people he had met; Mizuki and Kaede. Very interesting people, both with very definint traits. Kaede, in her drunker stupor, will be hard to forget. And Mizuki with her ample... personality, will likely show up again in the future. Hopefully anyway, the man had a lot of questions for her. The thoughts of possible friends aside, Zelrius eventualy veered off the road and across a field, that same field eventuall melting away into woods. Betwee the trees and grass, Zelrius came upon his target in mind; A Boar. With a smirk he drew his two weapons, one in each hand. He had no idea how fighting worked in this game, and just decided to swing for it. He did manage to hit, which wasn't that surprising considering the Boar had no idea the man was even upon him. Within a second of the strike, the Boar began to squeal and convulse, before bolting off between the trees. An odd reaction, Zelrius thought, though expected considering the circumstances. He had learned from that, if only slightly, and now began to hunt for his next furry and/or green victim.
Blake felt like punching things. Since she logged in for the first time, the only thing she did was fall and get bossed around by someone the size of her leg. Not that it wasn't fun, but it got humiliating after a while. Still, she was adorable, so it wasn't that much of a deal. Also she got some nice experience so it was all good! But now, she wanted action! She wanted to feel like she was actually on a game, and she wanted to be an adventurer. Beating up monsters that hadn't done anything to her seemed like the right step into said path. Well, after deciding she would do so, she went to check her equipment. She had some leather gloves, but that was mainly it for now. Eh, it would've to do. After getting into the path that she was when she first logged in, she travelled through the road. If she kept going, she would end up in Honeyhome. But that place, while very comfy and had the best people, just was a bit too secure for what she was searching for right now. She needed beasts, and the road and the forest surrounding it had a few. After walking for a while, her ears captured growls. And thank god she was half-cat in this game, or else she wouldn't have the reflexes necessary to jump out of the way of the ramming boar. Okay, she wasn't roadkill, but now she needed to deal with it. And the first thing that came to her head was to pull of an american and try to struggle with it like a football player. Having created a character that was focused on strength and speed, it was quite the good struggle for her, tackling with it and grabbing its horns. After a quick test of might, Blake started to prevail, managing to lift off the beast's front paws of the ground. Now, she did one final push, and the boar was now barely standing in its back paws. Boom, now she had a blind spot to strike. Clenching her fist, she gave the boar's belly the most fierce straight she could, making the beast tumble into the ground. It got back up, but it was clearly damaged.
Zelrius was lost in thought while traversing the roads and woods. He had an agenda to complete, people to meet, and skills to train. It was interesting to him, wanting to get on with his plans, but there was so many menial tasks to do in between. And with all that stuff he felt the constant need to lot every move, every word and every encounter. But of course, Zelrius was always frustrated by the infinitely improbability to completely map out and plan an entire series of events; especially when other people got involved. They were hard to predict; especially for a young man who had spent hours and hours locked away in his bedroom, playing video games. He wasn't an entirely antisocial person, this was a recent development in his life. In Earlier years, he was an avid sports player and club participant for his Highschool, with a large group of "Friends". Of course, they weren't exactly, just a large group of average people, who happened to do the same stuff throughout their time at school all trying to reach the same goals. Once School was over, much of them had gone off to college, without so much a word or peep back to the Golden haired man since. Some took different paths; Zelrius getting married to a Classmate, who he eventually lost not too long afterward. That still hung on his mind to this day, influencing his actions; and the lack of her mind hindering most of his efforts. He drew his sword to break himself out of his thoughts. Within moments of searching actively, he found what he was looking for, crouching through the woods. It had appeared to be hurt. That was odd to him, his eyes narrowing and then rushing in, both his Sabre's flashing in the light as they were driven into the beast's flesh. He drew them back doing it again, over and over incessantly, until it laid dead. He smiled, that was easy enough; and a good boost to his masteries. Though there was something out of the corner of his eye, an immediate reaction to the shadow being to hop back a bit and readying his swords to strike whatever it was, lifting them in the air and ready to attack within moments. Though within a moment he realized that it wasn't another beast, well, not exactly. It was one of those Felii that inhabited the world. Half Beast, Half Human, though they were generally more appealing. Zelrius was reminded of Mizuki, the Felis who had helped him in this very area hunt Goblins with their intoxicated friend. So, with that impression of Felii in mind, Zelrius was naturally friendly, slowly lowering the weapons down to his sides an eye quirked in questioning. "Why hello there. I hope I didn't just steal your kill." He sheathed he weapons, taking a step toward her to get a better look. He opened his mouth to speak more but was almost immediately stopped in his movements and noises. He was extremely fixated on her features; specifically, the golden eyes. He took a step closer and looked into them, his own blue eyes scanning hers for a moment before he shook his head and stepped back, his face burning a bright red now, trying not to be so easily distracted by mere physical attributes, something he had no interest in people anymore, atleast, not like that.
She was still high in adrenaline from her last manuever, being surprised she actually managed to pull that off. Maybe those points she spent in Body Combat did pay off, or maybe it was the sudden increase of martial art movies she watched, or the wrestling thingy. She was really seeking all the ways to improve herself in-game. But who could blame her? It was freaking fun! And it was going to be even more fun, she just needed to finish this boar with a even cooler move! Or... At least that was what she was going to do, until this guy came and simply skewed her boar for free experience. She went to check if she had gained anything from that, really frustrated for losing the kill. And look at that, he even got the leather loot. Congrats, you jackass! She took a deep breath, before analyzing the man in front of her. Blonde, tall, quite handsome, but he smelled of cockyness and that didn't really attract her. He then spoke, and she got even more annoyed, but not really showing it yet. Was his mind a piece of brick or he didn't realize that the injuried boar wasn't a gift from the heavens to him. In any case, she just let a muffled growl before speaking. "You did, but i suppose its fine. Let's just forget that-" And then she caught him. Red handed and with blood dripping to the floor, and talking about blood, Blake was blushing now. Okay, she did make her character a bit attractive, sure. But this wasn't a excuse for her to be pervert bait! And what consolidated it was the fact that he was blushing while looking at her. She was almost going to let out the classic line "My eyes are up here!" but alas, he was admiring them too. But, at the same time, it did feel quite nice to have someone find her beautiful. That isn't something that happens on the real world. So, with some of the anger dissipated, she spoke. "Err... Mister? Could you stop staring at me like that? Its embarassing..."
Zelrius' cheeks were a crimson red, the heat being more than just a feeling, more of a burden at this point. He felt extremely guilty; not meaning to exactly creep on her like that. He looked away, before she had even requested, staring off into the woods and pacing around nervously. He wasn't exactly sure how to proceed from here, having stolen her killed, oogled her for a moment and now was being awkwardly silent. Golden hair flowed behind with each step around the area as he fussed and pondered on how to go on from here. He kept doing impulsive things; fiddling with the hilts of his swords, ruffling his collar and wiping down his jacket. Eventually calming himself down to turn to her and respond. "I uh. I mean eh," It was no use; he was still extremely embarrassed and his insecurities were rising with each passing moment. His thoughts danced around; jumbled and blurred a million times over, each idea seemingly trampling over eachother in his brain as they screamed to be heard and expressed. This usually didn't happen to the man, but these were weirder than normal circumstances. He eventually stopped pacing, facing her once again, though this time more than a few meters away from the woman. "Sorry, very very sorry." Was all he could manage. Within moments, the man regretted being able to barely say even those words, though he was at a loss for others. He gave thought to simply running away. It'd be so easy, wouldn't it? He could just turn and leave. This would have probably been the best option. So far he had taken her MP, the loot itself, stared at her, and then now he was acting like a freak. It was times like this he wished that a certain woman was still around. She was always better at handling situations like this and keeping his nervous habits in check. But she was gone now, which made Zelrius feel even more guilty that he had scanned this woman so. Yet, there was a nagging to make it up to her. He did truly feel bad, and while it'd be so easy to just walk away and feel none-the-wiser about it, there was also his deeper compassions shouting in his heart to repay the misfortune he had brought. It wasn't exactly misfortune, but that was the word he thought of, often being dramatic in situations of stress. With a few deep breaths, and running a gloved hand through his long blonde hair the man spoke slowly, trying to gather his thoughts. "Look, I am sorry. I didn't mean to, yknow.." He couldn't exactly bring himself to specifically note what he was sorry for, just that he was, hoping she'd just take his vagueness as meaning he was sorry for the last 5 minutes of bullshit he had just went through and done. "I mean ah, I can show remorse," He began, now making his decision between running away or getting on with it. "There are more boars, and I'd be more than pleased to help you kill a few as a favor. I owe you that much... kinda?" It ended up more as a question, asking if she'd be willing to take that offer, and not so sure he should have even made the offer. Still, the words were said, after which giving a swallow of his throat, not sure what answer he wanted exactly.
Blake just looked at him with both confused and weirded out eyes. She just called him out for acting like a perv and now he was this unholy mess. She just looked at him for a second, before starting to feel bad. If she knew that the comment she made would turn him into that, she would have cooled it off. And, either way, she was asking for it. She made this character to be beautiful, so she should expect to be looked at. Still, it felt a little awkward to have someone stop what they are doing just to admire you, but she supposed that it was something she was going to have to deal with. Meanwhile, the man in front of her was actually starting to form sentences! What a progress. She just sighed and shook her head at his awfully messy way to say he was sorry. She wasn't a 10 foot roaring lion, and its not like she was going to devour him for looking at her body. It was almost worrying really how this guy seemed to be very nervous about a girl being mad at him, and it made her feel bad. So, she covered her previous frown with a soft smile, looking at him as if it was all good as she pat him in the head. "Its fine, its fine... I'm not mad or anything, chill. And sure, lets hunt together. But i'm getting one extra monster's worth of loot." She was still angry about the kill steal though.
