Magi's eyes were closed as she sat quietly in her own head when @Aerana said hello. It was heard very faintly and Magi simply nodded with a half hearted:

    "Hi."

She was not in the mood to talk really, or do much of anything but get this offer and done with. Magi was not afraid, no, not in the same way as back in the other 'super fun' events this twisted game had. Rather it was a different kind of fear. More like worry. This time it was others that would experience a nightmare if she did not take action somehow.

    "Bandits!"

The shouts from outside shook the thoughtful magical girl out of her daze. Oh no... it was happening. The others in her wagon were already getting to work and playing Cowboys and Indians... very realistically. Just a game... get over it Magi! This is what she always had to say to herself. It was not real and after all, a magical girl fought and sometimes had to kill something eventually right? They just always looked for a better way and... that was the problem here. In this game there was never a better way! And it was always other normal people! Everyone just jumped into the fights happily doing horrible things. That's how it seemed to her anyway. Lifting herself out of her seat, Magi made ready to do what was needed here...

Then came a weird spell and a green haired guy, @Quinn shouting something at her... what the? Huh? So much went on in these fights that it really went over the girl's head sometimes. She was glowing?!

    "Wowzers! Um... o-okay!"

Magi went was not sure what the spell he used was, some kind of buff thingy. Two bandits were looking really strangely and it made her feel uncomfortable to say the least. Ewww what was wrong with them? Not wanting to stare at their weird perving out faces, she started to shoot while not really focusing on them.

With the wagon, more-or-less, safe for now it was time to set on a next course of actions. Seigi didn't have any ranged capabilities and... "Huh?" Suddenly, it became cold. Very very VERY Cold. Followed by the Voice of Wisdom @Quinn telling the heroic girl to keep calm and imagine she was naked in a snow-storm. Yeah, that only made herself feel even colder. Wait... was this a snowflake?! And why the hell was Seigi naked all of a sudden?!

From the burning heat into a sudden cold attack while being turned nude. Seigi was, literally, shivering and utterly confused. Just what sorcery was this?! "This..." The girl whispered with cluttering teeth. "THIS HERO SHALL NOT BE CONTAINED! ROOOAAAARRRR!" Pure heroic will didn't get rid of the illusion the girl was unaware of, but it was enough for her to simply not care. After all, as humble as Seigi was, her heroic ego was big enough to believe she simply looked great! No reason for shame, at all.

Standing all proud on top of Wagon #1 the girl looked over the various bandits riding on horses, trying to get closer. "Listen to me!" She yelled, after clearing her throat. "LISTEN TO ME!" She repeated herself to make sure these bandits truly paid attention to her and give her the deserved time to monologue, or rather, allowed her the diplomatic approach.

"WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?!?! Appearing out of nowhere and trying to raid us? Are you retarded or something?!?! Never had any television when you were small? No books? NO... NO COMICS!? You must have had a super sad life to be where you are right now! Even my heroic heart feels sorry! But as sorry as I might be, you should know better than trying your luck at this: JUSTICE. ALWAYS. PREVAILS. SO STOP WASTING EVERYONE'S TIME AND EITHER, A: GET REKT, OR B: SURRENDER! In case of of B your punishment shall be lighter!

  9. "Fuh! There!" Unleashing another arrow, Aria was fully committed into the battle now. It was all or nothing, after all, they either triumph or lose, no in-betweens. The hardened ruffians certainly didn't look like they were up for negotiations. "Tch!" Things were getting really hairy out there and not because she was a Felis either. Battle cries mixed in with clashing swords, whizzing arrows, and arcane spells as the entourage defended themselves from the infamous Black Wolf Bandits. The Felis Ranger had gained some experience since her first days in Terrasphere but was it enough? Even if it was small, she must be able to contribute!

"Hngh!" The green-haired girl was about to nock another arrow when a bandit suddenly closed in on her and literally leaped off his horse to descend upon her. "Waaah!" He grabbed at her shoulders and she was forced to free one hand by dropping the arrow then frantically grabbed Artemis' reins. The mare neighed in concern but she didn't stop her gallop for she knew, the moment they stopped, it was basically handing over their lives to the raiders.

"Get off me!" Above the horse, surrounded by clashing combatants, Aria wrestled with the persistent bandit, "Nnngah!" They exchanged sloppy awkward punches and slaps until, at one point, Aria lost it and opened her mouth, "Hampgrh!" Her Felis fangs bit down on the man's ear as he screamed in pain, losing his balance as he fell off, an ear torn apart.

"Mmmgh... phoo! Urgh..." Spitting out the piece of flesh stuck in her mouth, Aria almost hurled in utter disgust but collected herself. "Okay... ha... I'm alright, Artemis." Inhaling, she narrowed her green slitted pupils, searching for yet another target for her arrows.

  12. It was not like Yuichi did not expect something like this to happen once their caravan entered the crystalline forest, but being the majority opinion – and also it being the fastest route back to Falderen – the young man simply accepted the decision with a heavy sigh. Having already danced and sung himself to contentment, Yuichi sprawled down on the canvass in an attempt to relax despite having a clear feeling of what might happen later on. In his mind, it was all about going with the flow of things; to get much needed rest when available, if at all possible; and, if able, render some kind of service without endangering one’s life. That the princess’ entourage decided to take the riskiest route out of all available options violated his third principle, but adapting to the situation irrespective of whatever variable present fell squarely within the first.

Just as he had expected, the attack came with the clamor of metal and the gallop of riding beasts, along with the disturbing sight of one of the caravans being set on fire. Yuichi could only shake his head at how things were expectedly going how he had expected it, but surely just the tip of the iceberg in what the fighter predicted to be the first out of many, many, many more trials. If one were to ask him right now about how much trouble they were in, he would not even bother with an answer considering that somewhere, something was already on its way to further lower the caravan’s chances of success. That was Murphy’s Law, after all; and if he did not already reside himself to just simply expect the very worst to come by, he was slowly counting down the time he would.

As the first few bandit attacks came down upon them, the fighter craned his head back towards @Anabelle Zhang, visibly tired after their little double performance of song and beatboxing. He did not have any sign of fear or panic anywhere on his face, but rather, something more akin to calm acceptance, like how a fortune teller welcomed the passing of an unchangeable event. It did not bother him one bit, it being a game after all; there were always resets and an unlimited number of lives – something which he reckoned everyone who chose the most dangerous path knew for a fact. If they managed to survive this, then all was well and good; and if they died and pin themselves into a sticky situation, then chalk one up to experience. Either way there was nothing he could do – that Yuichi knew. He was a pure melee fighter for the time being, and as it stood, he could only wait for the bandits to come near enough for his fists to reach.

    And so, he waited.

    And waited.

    And waited some more.

However, no matter how long he waited, it seemed as though the other caravans and the mounted fighters were already doing his job for him.

    Uh-oh

As the chase raged on, the mounted bandits parted way for one of their own, who was holding onto a staff. After a brief incantation, an icy effect began to emit from the head of the staff. Seconds after he finished reciting his spell, a massive ice spike instantly came up and struck wagon #1 (1d6 = 1), ripping right through the middle of the carriage. Wagon #1 is starting to spin out of control!

@Seigi @Claire Thalassa @Veradia Thoreau @Vina Skysong @Zelrius @Jace Vale must hop off this cycle or risk falling off the wagon in cycle 3. Anyone else who ran out of posts can be pulled off by another character on another wagon.

Magi felt her nerves worsening as the situation... yep as always, the situation was getting bad. The bandits had a mage and the front most wagon was even worse off now! Magi Heart was now not sure what to do. If she kept fighting them... then the wagon and those on it would die right? Was everyone else going to help? Grasping her bow tightly, Magi pulled herself on top of the fourth wagon. The fighting was all around her. The killing for no reason other than to defend themselves.

"Why can't you all just stop?!"

Magi cried out to the field of battle before her.

"We need to save the others! Please, don't you know what it's like to have someone who needs you? Isn't that why you steal like this?! To feed your families!? ...Urgh..."

A arrow flew past her and she began to channel her mana. The power of love.. the power of hope was important here right?

"Magical Yellow Heart Power! Protect our pure hearts!"
The young troubled girl could only hope there were enough pure hearts here to actually make this spell work. Her ability to focus her illumancy was often weakened or strengthened by such things. At least she believed so. Yellow fields began to glow over the wagons. The spell was spread so thinly... she had no idea how long she could keep this up but hopefully others could turn things around!

A lot of things were beginning to happen at the same time. As if all the fire, water, wind, arcane and frost wasn't already making the wagon Vina was in enough of a mess now it felt as if she had been thrown into the middle of a blizzard without any protective clothes. It was enough to make Vina gasp and lose concentration of the spell she had been using to try and trip the bandits up, as instead she began to shiver. She didn't even know where it was coming from, but it was making it hard for her to focus.

It looked like the running fight was in full force now, Vina worrying that those who were getting into direct scuffles with the bandits would have trouble getting back onto the caravan afterwards. There wasn't a lot she could do to prevent that, but she hoped that they wouldn't get themselves in too much trouble in their enthusiasm to bring the fight directly to the bandits. As for Vina herself, since she honestly didn't have much combat capability at all, so the best she could do was try to resume her spell of entanglement or otherwise heal the wounded.

However it looked like she wouldn't be given the opportunity, as one of the bandits turned out to be a mage, and one with no intentions of letting them get away with removing the flames.

When the ice spike struck the wagon Vina almost fell, managing to catch herself even as the wagon became a lot less stable than before. Looking back at the ice spike Vina realized that the vehicle couldn't keep going with that kind of damage to it, so she and all the others would have to get out before it actually fell apart. The ice spike had gone straight through the middle of the wagon, so the damage to the structure was too sever to believe that they could just ignore it.

    "Everyone, get out! Quick!"

Vina shouted even as she saw that one of the people on the cart, the man with the handkerchief, was still more busy with fighting off the bandits. Standing up Vina managed to retain her balance for long enough to move to the edge of the cart, looking around until she saw one of the other wagons which looked like it could take additional passengers. Grabbing Zelrius by the shoulder Vina quickly apologized before jumping onto Wagon #2, pulling Zelrius along before the cart really fell apart.

She felt guilty for not helping everyone get off, but she wasn't exactly a physical powerhouse: she couldn't bring more than one person with her, and Zelrius happened to be the one who caught her eye, because she was worried that if she didn't bring him along he'd keep fighting off the bandits until it was too late.

After a short but seemingly long hiatus from Terrasphere, Blithe had bounced back into the game with a positive outlook and a simply bubbling attitude, ready and raring to start the game again. She had quickly volunteered herself for the rescue mission, nearly fidgeting with excitement as she boarded Wagon #4 with a couple other adventurers... That was until she knocked out, dead sleep on the wagon floor until the next morning. Unfortunately for her, that was when all hell broke loose.

She sat up in the wagon as the rooster crowed, looking her with a half dazed look. Glancing around at the other peeps, they seemed to be alerted by a group behind her. The next few chain of a events happened so fast she could only watch on in awe and surprise, eyes wide as she watched her companions burn in the wagon not to far from them, I forgot how lively this game is. But there was simply no time to waste. The others needed help.

She hopped up to her feet and over to the side of the wagon, hands grabbing onto the wood as she leaned over to an almost dangerous extent, relying on her one leg stretched out behind her to keep her balance. Apologies to anybody she kicked as she did so, but she didn't quite seem to care, "Bonjour everybody, don't panic! I know your wagon is burning down, but it's really not as bad as it seems. K?~"

She grinned and raised on hand in a thumbs up, almost tumbling out of the wagon as she did so. Fortunately, she propelled herself backwards in enough time, steadying herself for a moment before taking a deep breath, balling her small hands into fists, "Alrightie... Lets see if I remember how to do this!" She took a small deep breath, un-balled her fists, and then broke into song and dance. However, regarding if the song would even reach the adventurers in the other wagons was debatable, but her intent was in the right.

  25. Megan smiled in wonder as her ice storm hit home, nailing the first wagon with a barrage of ice shards helping to dimish the flames. "You're welcome!" She screamed at the top of her voice, "Let it be known Megan Tritor is the best Ice Mage in the world!" As she spoke a large pillar of ice erupted from the middle of the wagon, splitting it almost in two and sending it spiraling out of control. Megan watched in fist clenching horror as the scene unfolded, unable to think of anything to say besides, "THAT WASNT ME I PROMISE!" As the wagon continued to tumble along, Megan watched in shock as one @Vina Skysong jumped from the disaster with wheels, onto her own wagon.

"I-I-I swear it wasn't me!" she shouted at Vina as she backed further into her own cart, griping her staff with white knuckles. "It must be another mage I will show them what a true ice mage is capable of." With a look of grim determination she pushed passed the smoldering Felis and held out her staff, chanting once more, "Lady Shiva, heed my call, for your loyal servant beseeches your power once again. Before me, the flames of chaos bounce, and bend ruining the tranquility of life, and blemishing your grace. Come and wait what was the rest again? Uhm, uhhh Winters Gasp!" As she spoke a blue aura, convulsed around her, shimmering brightly before fading away as her chanting began to fail. The resulting spell was nothing more than a strong breeze battering against the bandits, had it not already been so cold they might not have even noticed.

  28. “Oh for fu-”

That was all he could manage to mumble out as he watched wagon #1 get destroyed by an enemy spell. First arrows and now they were throwing magic at them?! Just what other tricks did these guys have saved up their sleeves… Whatever. It didn't matter now. The first group was taking a beating and if no one stepped in soon the bandits would have no problem picking off the downed players.

As the damaged wagon spun out of control it passed by the wagon Alric was in only giving the swordsman enough time to save one person. Most people on that particular wagon were strangers to him at a glance, but that wouldn't stop Alric from doing what he could to help.

“Get over here God damn it!” Practically leaning out of his own wagon now, he stretched his form as far as he could and used as much strength as he could muster to pull @Claire Thalassa to safety. With the woman now in his wagon and away from harm he was left out of breathe, resting both hands on his knees as he kept his gaze on the floor. “They… Really didn't like your wagon.”

  31. The cruise ship under attack by pirates---!!! Wait-no a wagon train under attack by bandits? Was this a western? But westerns don't have ice magic. Just what exactly was going on? Moony had no clue. Much like Muppet Treasure Island's rats she still believed she was on some sort of chaperoned venture cruise. One under attack at any rate...

***Introspection/Boruto's Dad Flashback would go here***

Well, land pirates or no, their buses were in dire straights and Moony was not to watch someone distastefully die right before her eyes, especially if such a thing ran the risk of getting blood, soot, or dust on her dress from an ensuing ice-splosion. Reaching into her purse, Moonbunny retrieved two white gloves. As she pulled the second one over her dainty right hand with the aide of her teeth, she smiled.

"I had been wishing to put this toy to the test...what a fine opportunity!"

Snapping her fingers, something inexplicable happened, the mark of a fine tinker...

As the the boy landed gently by her side she huffed in self-satisfaction.

  34. _____Kaedé would not be able to stop the mage from causing the damage but what she was able to do was keep moving to thin out the enemy ranks. Frame gliding in the air as Kaedé jumped to her next target and chose to borrow their sword. It was not exactly her style of weapon but as she allowed it to roll in her hand before slammed her knee into the Bandit’s face to dismount him and moved to the next closest target. It was a good thing they had come in large numbers, it allowed Kaedé a slightly easier time getting around.

_____Blade slashing the torso of the bandit and right boot slamming him off the mount and causing the horse to buck wildly reminding Kaedé exactly where she was fighting at. The sounds of horses started to return to her ears as she looked pale as a ghost for a few moments before taking the bra from her mouth to cast a small chanted spell, her hearing scrambled to the sound of a waterfall as she sighed with relief and returned to the battle mode, but not before setting the bra back in her mouth to free her hand.

_____Her third jump this time around was a bit more dangerous as she slashed the weapon at the horse's eyes before drop kicking the rider off and bouncing to her feet as the horse went down. No longer high enough to get any good jumps Kaedé stood at the ready with blade in hand, frame shifting out of horse paths and weapon lines before she would chop at the legs of each passing horse to bring the bandits down. Kaedé was slightly worried the group might leave without her sure, but for the moment she had to focus on avoiding getting trampled by horses.

    "Oh~ Quite the prize!"

Finished with the Claws, Moonbunny retracted them back under her considerably poofy hem and dusting off her lap, plopped back down. The motion and commotion was starting to wear on her stomach again, making her sick. Badly feigning composure she fanned herself with one free hand and sighed.

"Far be it for me to voice my complaints on a free ride...but could one of you perhaps heroically deal with those bandits? I'm....*gag*...nearing my limits...."

Placing a hand to her temple, the small girl shuddered and tried not to collapse.

  40. Lucia could only sigh, everyone else was already getting into the fray long before her it seemed, her spell simply took too long to cast it seemed. By the time she finished it, her summoning had completed resulting in ghastly specters and ghosts suddenly rising up from the soil. These ethereal creatures seemed to lack legs, some even faintly transparent cloaked in black or coated. The wraiths immediately set out to work almost immediately, the only one who remained behind to protect Lucia was a single one wearing a silver mask and a gentleman's hat. His figure floated alongside the carriage so as to not take up space, Lucia had learned her lesson after the last world boss event; she needed undead that wouldn't be restricted by the environment.

The wraiths themselves set out, some pulling down the wooden cases on their backs for potions, others pulled out blades with chains at the ends. A storm of attacks were quickly mixed into the bandit's backline one after another trying to slowly cut away at them from sneaky positions one by one.

  43. Yuichi’s vigilant watch over the wagon he commandeered as his own was almost abandoned in favor a less active role until his eyes saw the burning wagon at the fore of their formation hit a giant block of ice that slammed against its undercarriage, knocking the vehicle wildly out of alignment. Its joints and parts groaned from the impact, its integrity horribly put into question in the face of the bandit’s unnatural magic prowess.

The fighter mentally thought that this was one of the reasons why he did not want to risk traversing through the mutated forest of the Crystallized Zalra; too much risk for too little return, and more so at the risk of probably losing a rescue squad – and two people hitching a ride back to Falderen – to some unwanted disaster. Things were only going to get worse from here, as did the people who began helping the occupants of the flaming wagon realized. With a grunt, Yuichi forced himself to action to do the same.

As soon as the wild carriage came within range of his own wagon, Yuichi pumped his legs and vaulted over the distance like an Olympic athlete; the strength of his jump just enough to make the pretty-boy land into the burning canvass, but making sure to tuck into a roll so the flaming fabric would not ensnare him in a burning embrace.

After crashing down into the first wagon, he saw the chaotic scene unfold before him, as men and materiel fought through the blaze and the bandit swarm in the choking smog and low visibility. Sweat traced his visage as he maneuvered his way through the fray, and deal with the occasional half-dead bandit along the way. He could feel his skin become sore from the intensity of the heat, but that was nothing compared to what the riders of the wagon had to endure for a while now.

Without wasting any more time with the details, Yuichi used his speed and agility to find the nearest person he could. His eyes scanned for ghosts in the smoke, finally coming upon the figure of a young girl with chestnut hair. She seemed unable to move, possibly due to the strain of warding off attackers like most of the caravan did. Well, except himself and Anabelle, who just let things progress as they did unless they actually could do something to help. It was their way of ‘paying’ for the free ride back to their hometown, and to be fair, the little bit of excitement they got from the whole endeavor was something they sought for.

By reason of the circumstances, Yuichi simply grabbed hold of the girl without waiting for her permission to do so. Then, waiting for one of the horse-mounted bandits to come close enough, lunged at the assailant to push him off his horse, just as Yuichi made use of the beast as a living springboard to jump back to the relative safety of the Speedwagon.
