  3. Without delay the other wagon had dispatched the gator from the wheel. It was a relief no doubt!! Turning once more Weissman picked up the nearest barrel within the wagon. With a mighty heave he threw the barrel down beneath the feet of the horses alongside the wagon.

With a bounce the barrel soon shattered after slamming beneath the feet of a mounted unit. The tripping beast kicked and lashed out at the two nearest bandits knocking their mounts down and out. The tumble was small but did clear up the side even if it was only for a little bit! Turning once more he gazed at wagon six, narrowing his eyes Weissman shook his head lightly before turning to resume his watch over wagon 3. He would be ready to either put out flames or not. Wagon 2 needed to repair its wheel as quickly as possible.

Looking over the current party within the wagon Weissman watched @Aiko Yamauchi see to @Moonbunny 's condition while @Jace Vale had shielded them from arrows from the bandits beyond. With haste he pulled the lad up and to the side sitting him behind a barrel for protection. Sliding over to @Moonbunny and @Aiko Yamauchi he gestured for them to move behind a small row of three barrels to remain behind some form of cover. "It's not safe to stay this close to this part of the Wagon. You guys work well from afar! Quickly behind the barrels for protection." Weissman said lightly as he gestured once more while shielding them both with his body.

  6. After the scuffle that ended her with a mouthful of a literal bandit ear, Aria noticed she was slightly separated from the main forces. Gritting her teeth in frustration, the green-haired Felis sent an empathic message at Artemis, the faithful mare neighed as she veered off her course, returning to the main bulk just in time as Princess D'Vangelline herself called her over along with Marquis Alonso no less. Oh my, whatever it was, it must be important. The Felis wasted no time to gallop towards the Royal Warrior.

"Ha..." Panting a bit from the exertion, she took a deep breath then faced D'Va, "Yes, Your Majesty?"

The orders came and for the first time since the whole fight began, Aria had never felt more anxious and thrilled at the same time. Joining a charge with the Princess and Marquis, gloriously tackling their enemies. She... she didn't know how to feel about this, she never thought... she was just a college student and part-time fashion model, obviously joining a courageous assault with Terrasphere's very own Joan of Arc never came in her wildest dreams.

"Okay... okay... you can do this...!" This, this was her moment, to do something that mattered! Gone were the days of running around like a headless chicken, of napping recklessly and almost being gored by a boar, time to leave all those behind her and be a real Felis Ranger! "At once, Your Majesty!" The archeress acknowledged with an enthusiastic nod, barely keeping her loudly beating heart in control.

Next, the Marquis gave the orders to the Astorean forces proper, which she was officially assigned to. The large male Felis's boisterous voice called out to the soldiers, improving their morale, then he spoke to her. "Gu-..." For a second or two, she was taken aback, a silly look no doubt plastered on her face but the green-haired Felis briskly shook her head then nodded, "Yes, Marquis!" Oh my god... please don't screw this up, Aria!

Positioned at the back, both Felis and Mare, prepared themselves at around the back, an arrow already nocked at her bow, she'd try and hit as many bandits as she could. Any time now...

"Spearhead formation! Shield up! Couch your lance! Hold fast! Brace for impact! Break through their front now and fight!!!"

Thus, began the charge, the Glorious Charge of D'Vangelline de Falder, First Princess of Falderen, and Marquis Alonso Thorlion, Lion of Astorea!

    Shari! Shari! SHARI!!!

"Yaaaaaaaaah!!" Along with the rest of brave knights and soldiers, Artemis galloped alongside them, dusts being kicked off. Dauntless, fearless, the brave warriors held fast against the fangs and claws of the Black Wolves. Then, they clashed...

Bodies flying here and there, warcries and agonizing screams joining in a cacophony of warfare, the lighter-armored bandits buckled under the heavy charge of Princess D'Vangelline, Marquis Alonso, and the Knights. Those they missed were peppered down with arrows from the mounted archers slightly behind the vanguard, Aria being among them.

    The Hydromancer

The entourage is almost in the clear! You can finally start to see the border of the forest in the horizon. However, your hope was quickly dashed as the Hydromancer who crashed wagon #1 is back, he rode with a separate group who was protecting him. He took his sweet time casting his spell this time, tailing wagon #4.

If anyone had looked at the mage with Investigation Mode on, they would have seen the status "Frost Bomb" on him.

Frost Bomb (Buff) Can self-detonate to deal as much AoE damage as possible in a wide area. The user will take 200% damage.
The bandits were getting rather desperate now. It would be safe to assume that if the Hydromancer does not die by the next cycle or the party somehow beat the bigger bandit horde back, the mage would just detonate himself, taking the entourage with him.

Attack: You attack the hydromancer, trying to kill him before he wrecks wagon #4.
    • [ Hydromancer: 300/300 ]
    • If not defeated by the next cycle OR if the bandits HP hit zero, he will self-detonate and do 500 damage to the entourage's HP.
    • Modifier: any mastery gets +5 per mastery tier (excluding beginner); +10 if mastered.
    • This action costs 10 EN
    • Make sure to write "Attack Hydromancer" in the rolling post.

  10. Hopefully his allies had moved since he had last guarded @Aiko Yamauchi and @Moonbunny from possible damage at the time. Moving his attention the commotion on their flank he noted the return of the hydromancer. With gritted teeth the crimson eyed sociopath felt a small shiver of fear roll down his spine. Not again god dammit!! Shaking his head slowly the man kicked over a barrel and rolled it out the back to help with lightening to load of the horses.

"Everyone!! Do not falter!! We are gonna make it out alive!! Press forward!! To the King!! We must rescue the King!!" The bear like man shouted out as he turned to kick a bandit of the edge of the wagon. "We will survive!!!!" Raising his hands in the air the man sought to boost the moral of his allies. While being mainly the silent time this was no time for keeping quiet! Looking back at @Jace Vale he beckoned to the lad to come forward. "The Hydromancer is upon us.. I am not sure what the other two can do range wise however you seem to have the aptitude to do some mighty work. Take aim at the Hydromancer my friend.. Fire upon em with fury! I will be right beside you.." Weissman said as he crouched down low, there were very few things they could grasp at now. A few sand bags and even a long bit of rope. Perhaps something could be done.

  13. Cursing loudly, the female Malefimancer turned her back on the other wagons and stared directly ahead as a charging line of Bandits made their way through. One in specific seemed to be a spell caster, but the speed in which they were charging was far greater than Vivian could employ her assault. She would have to leave that to the miserable polyps in the back. Her eyes fierce with a glow of distaste for all this meticulous spell casting in the morning.

However, this was great practice for her and it would only fuel her strength in the coming of days. With her sights back on the Bandit group, she had watched earlier that her demonic hands of doom fell from the sky to rip them from the earth. The next would be just as lovely. With a swoosh of her hand, the spell was being called forth, eyes locked on a set of targets. Her words were like piercing venom in their ears. A nightmarish plot thick in their mind as they rode towards the envoy. Her hands moved like a hypnotist to attract its guests. Once the spell had been unfurled from her tongue, with a snap of her fingers the curse was set in place. And the sudden howling of her enemies ensued. Their vision would be clouded by horrible vision of their truest fear. It was enough to slow a haggle of them down, but for the rest it would be left to the others. Many more spells like this would end up draining the female.

  16. A few strikes, the next wave of bandits were done and out for the count, and there’s no way he was getting tired just yet, not when the entourage was in need of protection. From out the folliages comes the Hydromancer whom Romulus had saw take out one of the wagons earlier. While deeming as just another target to take down, there was an indicator on his forehead that says Frost Bomb on him, something only he and other players can see while NPCs cannot.

A frost bomb… that doesn’t sound like a trivial matter like these bandits. He held @Magi Heart ‘s shoulder again and said.

“Stay here, Rome will handle this, keep the group going!” He stood once again setting his sights on his new target. He roared out once more.

“ROOOOMAAA!” and threw himself in all the chaos as he aimed straight for the enemy Hydromancer, but then, with the Hydromancer were a group of thugs. With a few pokes and a swing from his spear, he raced and drive himself through, attacking anyone who stands in the way, anyone who was protecting that Hydromancer. He roared out with a smile, happy that these bandits have taken him seriously, no… they accepted his challenge from the get go or coincidentally was really just getting desperate. Either way, both sides aren’t back down.

Slamming his speak, impaling one after the other, he was like an auger, drilling through tough ground.

  19. As Blithe turned her gaze forward, her grin widened as she paused in her song and raised her hand to her forehead, narrowing her eyes as the border came into view. She squealed and raised her other hand into the air, waving as if to get anybodies attention, "Look, everyone!! We're almost there!~ Just a bit more and then we'll be home-" One again she was cut off by the yelling of @Romulus, and she turned towards him with puffed cheeks and hands on her hips prepared to tell him to 'S'il te plaît, ferme ta gueule', but she noticed his attacking of the bandits behind them and the big, scary guy with a special status at the front, and her mouth turned upwards in a cheer grin.

She launched herself forward, leaning over the back of the wagon and cheering him on, "WOO-HOO, you go papy!!~ Lemme help you!!" She then turned her own gaze on the Hydromancer before her, a smirking crawling onto her lips as she reached back to pull out her weapon- A frying pan.

Throwing her arm back and then forward in one extremely over dramatic movement matched up with a small 'hi-yah!~', the frying pan went sailing over and made direct contact with the Hydromancers head. This time, Blithe didn't even cheer, but stuck her hands up to her face like a two year old and stuck out her tongue in a taunting expression, "Serves you right for messing with us! Hope it leaves a mark."

    “ROOOOMAAA!”

The presence of a large man screaming right next to her, made Magi break her concentration and lose balance. At first she thought it was a bandit that had boarded and was coming for her! Her arms swung wildly and her twin tails stood on end, as she teetered on the edge of the fast moving wagon.

    "Yayayayaaa!!!!!"

Steadying herself she turned bow in hand but saw it was none other than the big strangely nice man from Dormont. He was fighting hard too. He talked kinda funny about Rome a lot. Terrasphere did not have Rome in it at all did it? Wendy decided to chalk it up to in depth role playing. Like she wanted to do here. It was a lot easier to play that kind of character than to be a real hero like she wanted to do. If Magi Heart was a true hero of love and justice... This man would not even have to fight! No one would!

Turning to look away from him she realized she still had power left. Time to return to the barrier...

A broad hand, like before fell onto her shoulder. @Romulus reassured her and then attacked what looked like a mage heading for their wagon. Oh no! Is he going to catch her wagon on fire too! Then Magi saw that the game was declaring him a hydromancer. Ooooh it was going to be very refreshing! ....wait. The words ice bomb and 200% damage flashed on screen... um... if her eyes counted as a screen here anyway.

"Gee whiz... that would be bad... I-I have to stop him... yeah... stoooop iiiiiiit! Be good and put the bomb away!"

She pulled back her bow string and fired. Her determination to keep disaster pushing her to attack. She used curing kiss to hopefully inject good will into his angry uncaring heart!

  25. Eileen grumbled and groaned as what should've been a nice, relaxing hitched ride turned into... well... this shitshow of an ambush. She'd already been disappointed by the sheer lack of 'useful stuff' in the carriages, and now she had to deal with bandits attacking the wannabe heroes? Honestly, she could understand them. Even sympathize a bit. There were certainly some special folks that deserved a good ol' knife to the dick. Or the tit.

She frowned at the bandits riding around them, pulling herself atop the moving wagon with a whine. Her beauty sleep! "Do you see these?" she shouted, gesturing to her breasts, and then to her face, "This requires beauty sleep. What are you doing? Interrupting my beauty sleep and ending it early!"

The beautiful face morphed into a fierce, evil grin.

"So I guess I'll interrupt your lives and end those early."

She focused on the two nearest bandits and started to hum a melody, catching their eyes with a swing of her hip this way and then that way. Their eyes started to droop, an exhaustion running so deep in their veins that they had no way of stopping themselves from veering into each other and crashing in a tangle of limbs and sputtered cries.

Her eyes sparkled with delight. "You messed with the wrong carriages!" she crowed, looking for her next targets.

After all of them were dead, she'd get a bit more naptime in.

  28. The charge was a major success, thinning out the bandit ranks to a little less than a quarter of their original numbers, they could actually win this! Well, of course, they would. The First Falderen Princess and Lion Astorean Marquis were with them, not to mention the players, both experienced and newbies. No matter how infamous or intimidating, in the end, the Black Wolves were bandits, robbers, and thieves. "Hahaha!" Aria pumped one fist up, watching in triumphant glee as the most of the bandits scattered, they should mop up the remaining forces now. They had this in the bag!

    ...or not.

"Is that...?" As she returned to regroup with the wagons, the Felis Ranger's keen eyes noticed one particular bandit who wasn't like the other. Clad in robes much like a mage and glowing with a bluish aura, whatever he was doing clearly wouldn't be beneficial to the entourage. Just to check, Aria put two fingers against her temple as her green eyes lit up, activating her Hunting-enhanced Investigation Mode.

    The words...

...appeared on her UI. "Fuck..." That was all the sign she needed to make this asshat a priority target!

"Come on, Artemis!" The mare neighed at her rider's command as Aria closed in at the Bandit Hydromancer from behind. It seemed some players noticed the danger he posed and was already focusing on him. From jabbing spears, throwing frying pans (seriously?!), and arcane arrows, all just to prevent him from jeopardizing the whole rescue effort. Well, time to do her part!

"Hmgh!" Steadying herself as best as she could on Artemis, Aria pulled her shortbow's string all the way to the end, exerting her upper-body muscles to the best of her ability. Her breath held, she focused... the whole world reduced to nothing but herself and the hydromancer... then... fire!

WIth a solid thunk, Aria's arrow was embedded on his back, puncturing through cloth, skin, and flesh. The hydromancer was bleeding all over the place now, clearly dying but... he still didn't stop casting! Even with all those wounds, he was very much alive. Oh no, at this rate...

  31. Zelrius had successfully stomped out the rest of the fires in the wagon. It seemed now that his compatriots were safe. To be honest, he only intended to save Alric and Kaede. They were the only people he knew, in this cart, though he supposed Claire was a rather useful piece in this adventure, and Solaria, despite being a Knife Ear wasn't that bad of a girl; rather nice actually. The only person he had no notion of was a man he knew not the name of; Verity. However, despite not knowing his name, Zelrius was actually rather happy to help, moving to the back of the wagon to gaze out.

In a moment he saw the flash of things; the Gator running away hurt and heavy with wounds. Then the bandits began to move in a weird pattern; some of their horses' trampling of the grass slowing down, opening a gap between them. For a moment, he was hopeful that this meant some were tapering off. That was, until a few of the wagons were hit things began looking pretty bad through the entourage. There was plenty of shouting and moving about as Zelrius simply gazed the surrounding area, trying to gauge a plan. Eventually, after much debate in his mind, he decided that he'd continue to try and harm the bandits' efforts, not quite feeling tired yet.

Though within moments of those slowing horses, the gap that was formed on one side was filled. A mage of somesort taking its spot and then coming right up on one of the wagons. Zelrius had no idea what was going to happen, but he took no chances. After several projectiles had already hit the mage, Zelrius drew his Copper Sabre. He hated to do possibly lose his sword like this, but gave it a shot anyway. Pinching the back of the blade, the end of the weapon pointed forward, Zelrius took aim, squinting blue eyes and then drew his arm back. In a flash he swung his arm forward releasing the blade and toward the Hydromancer, hoping that would do the trick.

He had hoped that Jeanne might have saw that. Regardless if she did, the Sabre met its mark. Square in the chest, the other projectiles dazing and weakening him, the blade itself knocking him off the horse. The man watched as the horses of the mage's 'Comrades' marched on over his body, mangling it to pulp as the entourage and their chasers sped off. "Alric," He managed, keeping his voice flat to hide his rising guilt "A hand with the bandits?"

  34. Being within the crowd of shielded lancers, the large man did not have much room to shift his horse around. He was still prime for combat, yes, but the lack of space on top of fatigue beginning to circulate his body proved this attack to be taking its toll. As the full scene came to Alonso's notice, the damage the entourage had taken was far more brutal than he figured upon first glance. Shit. At this rate their entire group was going to be taken down by some rude punks who thought nabbing a princess was the best course of action, despite the fact that Falderen was raiding about like thoughtless maniacs. Sighing, the man leaned over to ready his breath, wanting to at least make sure he can focus.

"Right, come on, let's get goin'. Push a bit more and we can rest," Alonso said, patting his mount on the side as a kind gesture. He did not want to wear out his sole vehicle for transportation. Unlike a car, this beast was organic matter that needed to rest and recovery every so often. Turning his head to look for a target, he noticed a lone bandit trying to make use of the chaos to rest up. "Oh no you don't, asshole," the Marquees said. Kicking his mount at the sides to get going, hooves began to trample the beaten ground, both large masses charging at the poor guy about to learn never to hold back in the midst of battle.

Using his other, clenched fist, since he tired of using the same one for the line breaker, he man swung his fist at the resting bandit, knocking the guy off his horse and subduing consciousness.

  37. Burning Subtract 10 HP every time you post. 1/2

Terrific, just when he thought he was free of that first from that first wagon, another fire arrow just struck theirs. But with the fire slowly growing, he was unable to use his spells as he covered his mouth to prevent himself from breathing smoke. It was even more unfortunate that he didn't have any kind of potions that would douse it out. Thankfully, his worries were short-lived thanks to the others' efforts especially the new guests (@Claire Thalassa, @Zelrius) to put it out. His worries of burns were also short as @Solaria offered him some salve, but as he accepted it, he noticed her tired state.

"I know you want to help the others, but just not to overwork yourself. Your health and energy are important right now as much as I do."
With the fire caused them to chip off some of the HP with the burn ailment, he knew that overworking themselves will cause their downfall. For now, he felt that she might need a few minutes of rest for her health's sake.

However, that doesn't mean they were out of the woods yet as bandits and their allied hydromancer charging into them. He already saw some players aiming at the latter, but he was worried that the bandits may still have a chance to attack the remaining entourage. This even proved his point as some of them about to reach their wagon. "Tch... I have no time for this." He then raised his arm as the wind began to gather in his palm as it formed itself into a ball. "Tempest flatus."

Uttering out the incantation of his new spell, the ball then shot out several bullet-like wind blasts to the bandits, knocking them out of their horses in the process. "That takes care of that. I just hope the others managed to take out the others before they can kill us."

  40. Well f*ck @Yuichi Ichinose . This hitching a ride home with the Princess' caravan was his whole idea, and because of it he should have at least taken responsibility of the other person he dragged into this. But no, he had the gall to leave her behind to save a midget. Anabelle felt angry for being signed up into something she did not want, and then left to deal with herself all of the sudden because he was trying to f*cking bedazzle a young shrimp.

Anabelle yelled in irritation as she felt her throat choked by a lump that came from hwr chest. She stomped her feet, "WHERE THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU'RE GOING? ARE YOU REALLY GOING TO LEAVE ME HERE, YOU JERK!" But it seemed that Yuichi did not hear anything he said as he continued to pursue and save the annoying brat.

    That's it.

With her cat tail fluffed with agitation she felt the need to release her anger at something, someone, anything. She took out her staff and mindlessly alighted the wagon. As her feet landed on the ground, the blonde Felis began swooshing her staff and unintentionally hammered and bludgeoned a nearby bandit, not minding if too much blood would smear her clothes or dirtied the end of her staff. "F*ck you, Ichinose! Why do you do this to me?! Why are you making me feel horrible?! I do not deserve this! F*ck you, Ichinose!" she chanted on repeat.

  43. Moony allowed herself to be ushered into a safer position behind some barrels, a stack of hay, and other horsey things.

"Okay, okay, you'll have no protest from me y-you....admittedly handsome man! So keep your voice down!" @Xavier Weissman

Clutching her head she crouched down and admittedly look like her namesake, a huddling rabbit. She took a number of deep breaths before peering over the barrels. Turning on detective mode she looked to confirm the status of the rather problematic bandit mage before plotting her course of attack only....

"Oh...well then....that's....rather....fine....yes...?" Shrugging she called back behind her at the young man, "It appears I have scored some kind of critical hit and taken out the troublesome mage-dit in a single shot. You needn't worry."

Turning to where ever @Aiko Yamauchi happened to be, Moony continued speaking by giving the girl an apology:

"I admit, when you had told me that this were the real thing I had thought you were simply a paid actor in the style of a Universal Studios ride, that is, that this was a scenario...but I can see now I owe you an apology. Thank you for acting as a human shield anyways, you cut quite the heroic profile you know, i'm substantially impressed."

Lightly slapping both her cheeks she steeled herself. Her pale skin was somehow paler, and yet her red eyes shone with determination.

"Now then..." drawing a rather peculiar looking wand from her purse with her left hand, she pressed a spell in her UI with her right, and as the tip of her wand glowed...she, aiming down the sights....
