  3. Whereas some hitched a peaceful ride and thought it'd be ruined, Comet decided - as soon as blood spilled - that a fight would be nice. Opportunity. Though she shouldn't of spent a moment of rest in-game when she had so much to work on. Hopefully satisfaction in beating the enemy would trump the mild disappointment she felt for herself. Lifting her weapon, spotting an enemy, she sloppily shot an arrow and nearly missed her target. With a huff Comet wiggled her fingers tingling with anticipation. Waiting for such unskilled hands to prove that she could be better than this. Pierce the heart of two men at once, even. If only she'd practiced more before.

Despite such doubt in herself she couldn't help but take a moment smile at @Eileen Dover and her display of retaliation. "It's only fair that they get what they deserve.", a quick comment with a sinister lick of the lips and Comet would return to her state of watching, reloading her bow, and aiding in the fight against the bandits.

  6. There was no rest for the fighter after his rescue of the girl from the now-destroyed wagon that had splintered by the strain of its damaged frame as now the bandits hounded them with the savagery of wild dogs, almost as if desperation from unspoken circumstances drove them to ignore the mounting casualties they sustained in the hopes that the deaths they suffered would give them the victory they obviously desire. That their caravan filled with new players managed to hold out this long was nothing short of a miracle, but Yuichi had no desire to see just how far they could push their luck before it would run out.

This is why we cannot have nice things,” he commented in an off-hand manner, snickering slightly from the sheer absurdity of their current situation. They were teetering on a spider’s web, where one simple misstep would mean a mighty long fall down into a deep chasm. Despite the dire circumstances, the fighter could not help exhilarated amidst the chaos of the battlefield; his body tingling as if readying for the next life-threatening stimulation that would come his way. He did not have to wait too long for the next instance, however; this time, it was the bandits that came over to Yuichi’s side of the playground.

With as much bravado as a lazy drunk high on mushrooms and chicken tenders, Yuichi responded to @Seigi in pretty much the opposite manner which she introduced herself, half out of respect for the girl and half out of his own desire to make it clear early on of what the other could expect from him as far as this mission was concerned.

Mimicking the movements of one famous animated schoolgirl transforming into a magical girl soldier, Yuichi introduced himself with half-meant movements despite sporting the same stone-faced mien that clashed with his slow execution. “Ichinose, Yuichi; friend of whales and carrier pigeons. I like long walks on the beach, candle-lit dinners, and stealing everyone’s left shoe.

It was only after he had lazily introduced himself did the fighter return to his original self, the burst of energy spurning, thanks to his adeptness in Body Combat, a very faithful rendition of the poses of the characters in Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, all the while humming the tune of Bloody Stream all the while. The unnatural precision of his poses managed to awe every bandit who looked at him, causing them to crash into each other at high speed.

Death by witnessing manly sexiness; it was a good way to go.

A lot had happened in such a short span of time. Bandits, magic, and flying alligators… If you had told him a week ago these would be the things he would have to worry about Alric probably would have said you were crazy. But here he was in the midst of it all. Glancing over at Zelrius it took a moment to process what he man had said as the burns he had suffered from the last attack were starting to take their toll on his health. All he knew was that he had to do something.

Picking up his fallen weapon and ignoring everyone around him, the swordsman carried himself to the edge of the wagon once again. A small gang of bandits closed in on their and probably would have boarded the wagon had Alric not lashed out at the man’s neck. The wound cut deep and caused his foe to lose control of his horse, colliding with the few bandits who rode beside him as a result. One by one their horses fell over each other like a sick game of dominoes, but even after witnessing the carnage one question tugged at the back of the player’s thoughts.

Just how much longer would they have to fight like this?

With the entourage so close to escaping the bandit's territory altogether, the sky darkened. If anyone had peeked their head out to investigate the state of the sky, they would see a massive Flying Alligator flying ahead, roaring angrily.

Despite breaking out of the swampland with the Flying Alligators, this was an entirely different beast. Anyone with Proficient Hunting will be able to identify that it was the Gator Broodmother, a beast so large that one could mistake it for a dragon. The she-beast roared loudly as a tiny Flying Alligator darted around her, it was the juvenile gator @Indra @Quinn and @Vivian Cruz had beaten up earlier, it had ran and call to its mother.

Half of the Broodmother was covered in crystals, the same one seen in the Crystallized Zalra ahead. It was clear that she just came back from gathering food for her babies, and you have disturbed something you should not have.

The sight of the Broodmother made even the bandits nervous as they slowed down. After she spotted the puny wagons and army of horses, the she-beast opened her mouth and began to rain massive balls of flame down onto the chase; the entourage takes some damage.

"Fuck this shit, I'm out" You attempt to help the wagons avoid the balls of fire coming down. You don't fight the Broodmother, you can only run.

  13. She grinned over at her likeminded companion, @Comet, and nodded like the wise woman she was. "Right? They want to mess with MY sleeping spot, I'll mess with their faa—

"—aaaahhhh? The fuck is that?!" The elven mistress whined, her gaze torn between the bandits she'd tormented with her glorious singing and that 'what-the-fuck-is-that' beast flying around in the air. Was that a gator? With wings? She cursed the sick-minded creator of the game, muttering something under her breath about how gators were for water and how everything was just a big load of bull and--

Never mind that. They had to get out of here.

Eileen had half a mind to just jump ship and nope the heck outta town. She had better places to be than between angry bandits, wannabe heroes, and a scorned mama gator. But would she survive trying to escape? If she didn't get crushed under stampeding horse hooves or toasted up real good by a wild fireball... yeah, no. She wouldn't take her chances.

For now, she'd help the group. Only because her chances of survival were higher with these idiots than alone.

She shoved past the others in the wagon, @Vivian Cruz, @Megan Tritor, @Vina Skysong, and @Comet (though she offered this good lady a panicked totally-not-hyperventilating nod), to make her way to the horse rider in the front.

"GO GO GO! If I have to sing that damn 'I like to Move It Move It' song, I swear to god, I will shoot somebody! DON'T DRIVE STRAIGHT INTO THE FIREBALL YOU USELESS FU—"

  16. Quinn knew 100% that he had fucked up as he calmly took a seat inside the wagon and gave himself a palm reading. It seemed Quinn has a short lifespan, but an outstandingly satisfying love life. He sighed, occasionally peaking out of the wagon to marvel the depth created by the balls of flame raining down from the sky.

Looking at the other folks inside wagon #4, @Blithe Bombón @Romulus @Aerana @Lucia Mierz and @Magi Heart Quinn smiled, "Everything is fine."

Right after he spoke, a ball of fire came crashing down right next to the wagon, dispelling intense heat into the vehicle and making the wagon hop once or twice. For the first time since the start of the event, Quinn began sweating profusely as his heartbeat quickened, he had pissed on the wrong tree.

Once guilt overcame him, he quickly headed to the front of the wagon and took over the wagon driving, figuring he should take some responsibility for his action and try to get his team out of the pinch.

What madness was this?! Moony had thought she was done with this episode of what should have been identified as flying crocodiles due to the shapes of their mouths and yet.....!!!!

Laughing nervously, Moony placed one shakey hand into her bag and rummaging around looked for something -ANYTHING- that could rectify this situation...

    Widget Spinner

She had nothing. There was nothing she could do. Laughing shakily, she twirled the Widget Spinner (tm) behind the wagon in a vain attempt to speed her escape from this awful, awful, reality.

Alric’s breathing had become even more ragged now. Enough was enough. He was tired and dying and now a giant whatever that thing was started descending upon their group raining hellfire upon everyone! Had the world gone mad?! He wasn’t usually one to let anger get the best of him, but this would be different. These stupid bandits had overstayed their welcome and those thugs had another thing coming if they thought they could torment the adventurers like this without being punished.

From his spot at the edge of the wagon the swordsman let out a battle cry as he used his sword cut down all bandits who got too close to the wagon. A trail of bodies was left behind as he cut through his enemies with blind fury and disregard for the countless lives he would claim in his wagon’s wake. The bandits seemed to be on their last legs now, but that only meant he just had to keep fighting for everyone’s sake. He would make sure everyone would get out of this alive!

  25. The pink-haired woman - much more a girl than anything in this moment - stood with her dull blue eyes fixated on the monster in the sky. They'd been close to a mighty triumph but not strong enough to continue. Surely such a large beast signified the end of the fight and Comet had not a doubt in mind that staying behind (as much as she wanted to) wouldn't be the best plan if survival was on the mind. Her legs seemed to agree with surviving the ordeal instead of sticking around much longer as they moved like clockwork to start running away from the enemy. Not so much the bandits as it was the flying, dragon-like creature. "We'll meet again," she swore under her breath, eyes now ablaze with a hunger. Blessing her long legs while in pursuit, Comet respected the blonde's panicked demands and followed hoping to get as far away from the huge mess as possible. The other comrades on Wagon #2 hadn't crossed her mind nor would they afterwards. Self preservation first, after all.

  28. One of the more ballsy bandits had managed to hop onto the wagon where Emil was trying to cast his way to freedom. The scent of burning wood, clothing, and flesh singed the air and he found himself coughing in between incantations. However, because of the fever pitch of the battle, his brain was latching onto the familiar words and his hands sometimes moved of their own accord, without him second-guessing what spell he was meaning to cast. In that aspect, this was exhilarating! A small smile would cover his mouth from time to time while sweat continued to slip down the sides of his face.

The bandit had snuck up on the spellcaster and was about to plant his dagger in Emil’s side when a terrifying roar vibrated through the sky. Both bandit and caster turned and glanced up, the hole in the top of the wagon allowing a clear picture out into the night. The shadowed figure of what appeared to be a dragon had Emil’s eyes going wide and his Adam’s apple bobbing with nerves. There was no way in hell he could take on a fucking dragon!

He turned and ran directly into the bandit, causing the brute to not only drop his weapon but stumble backward and, consequently, off the wagon. Another sickening crunch passed Emil’s ears as the wagon wheels crushed the body into the mud and dirt below.

  31. With the hellish little flying gator done and her mental hatred of Quinn subsided, the blonde returned her attention to the whole situation regarding bandits, wagons, princesses, and whatever the hell else; At this point, Indra just wanted to be done with all this already. She wanted to go home and get a good night’s amount of sleep. She prepared another spell, wand pointed towards the bandits encroaching closer by the moment. “Aleaha, ecta, es…” Words rolled off her tongue, the meaning behind them still foggy even for the caster. Initially, she thought that learning arcanamancy would be a good idea, but now that she had the chance to put the arcane art to the test, she realized it wasn’t much different from back in honeyhome.

In response to her chanting, a magic circle formed under her feet and blue particles of energy coalesced at the tip of her mace. While aiming, however, built up stress and concentration on trying to lock on the enemy had caused the mage to miss a few words from her incantation. This caused the mana waves to be increased by a great amount, as the arcanamancy limiters (spellcasting words) were not present, causing mass collection of energy. Noticing the erroneous amount of magic being summoned by her spell, Indra’s ahoge straightened up.

    She messed up. Again.

When the mana reached it’s limit, the spell was forcefully casted, but due to the pushback, Indra closed her eyes instinctively as she ended up falling back. Excitement filled her veins as she opened her eyes and witnessed utter destruction and burning enemies before her eyes. Much to her chagrin, her excited moments quickly faded away as she realized what happened; Her spell hit the ground and sent the wagon a bit forward, barely avoiding a fireball crash. When she noticed the dark sky and the gigantic monster, her perky ahoge fell down as if all life in it was gone from this plane of existence.

She slowly glanced at the people in the wagon, guilt building up on her chest. And then there was @Moonbunny, someone she could relate so much to. Indra sat next to the fellow blonde, sharing the depressive and bumpy ride. “Woebegone. What have…. what...Have I done…”

  34. "Get off me!" Seigi kicked and kicked and kicked until, suddenly, as the sky darkened, BAM!

    "Weeeee!"
The shock-wave created by the impact of a fiery fireball, which roasted the clinging bandit, catapulted Seigi back into the wagon.

Confused, a little hurt, the girl instinctively looked up. And what she saw was... perfection. Screw the fluffy tails. Screw the fluffy ears. Screw flying Tigers. This flying Crocodile. This perfect, elegant, gigantic, beautiful, majestic creature - orchestrating a Concert of Destruction over their heads.

It was simply absolute. The smooth scales. The tiny little buttony-eyes. The gentle warmth of its breath. It's loving maternal instincts.

Pointing her finger upwards, right here, right now, Seigi made a declaration against Fate/@Raid Master itself. "YOU WILL BE MINE! MINE ALONE! THIS IS A VOW! ONE DAY I, SEIGI LING LING, SHALL FIND YOU AND TOGETHER WE SHALL CONDUCT A HEROIC BATTLE THAT WILL BE SUNG IN GENERATIONS TO COME! And, as it is proper, after I have beaten you we become the BESTEST friends. Hero and flying Crocodile. A unbreakable bond forged through a clash of life-and-death. AND THEN!..." With sparkles in her eyes she started to drool. "We will rise high and high into the sky, making each other h-" Shaking her head the small hero finished her Deceleration of... friendship(?). "WITH GUTS AND EFFORT."

Even with the flaming inferno going on which the group somehow survived they were still bandits to beat up! Or... was there really? Looking around it seemed they had given up the chase except... "AHA!" There he was. A single, last bandit on their wagon. He looked no older than 20 with a bucket on his head and a crude wooden club in his hand. Was he... shaking? Clearly he realized that his boarding allies had all been defeated.

Pointing her finger at him the hero girl said. "PREPARE TO FACE JUDGEMENT YOU VILE VILLAIN OF EVIL DEEDS!"

"T-This is the part where I-I can surr-surrender, right?" He asked as he gripped his club tighter and held it in front of him. Seigi, seemingly confused for a second shook her head as she was also making a 'No,no,no,no'-gesture with her index-finger. "That's not how it works. NOT AT ALL! You had your chance. Begging for mercy? AT LEAST DO A GOOD JOB AND GO DOWN LIKE A TRUE MAN! Come at me!" - "B-bu..." - "No buts, prepare yourself." With these words, aiming for a finishing blow, the fire inside Seigi's eyes soul increased a hundred-fold.

"A-Ah, screeewww thiiissss! I'm not getting paid enough." The bandit cried out as he desperately, in an almost pitiful fashion, charged at the newbie player.

One had to wonder how the Buckethead even got onto the wagon with what appeared to be negative mastery points as Seigi easily dodged his attack and grabbed onto his waist. "HEART OF A HERO. THE BURNING OF YOUTH. THE HEAT OF A MAIDEN!" Lifting him up, which wasn't too difficult as he was rather scrawny, the hero girl was aiming for... "SUPER ULTRA JUSTICE SUPLEX OVERDRIVE!!!!" And with a loud crash and a big cloud of dust and debris, the last bandit on the wagons was finally defeated... .

Seigi had a smile on her face as she was lying there, whispering, once again, her stupid punch-line. "I did it... we did it... with guts and effort."

  38. A sigh escaped his lips upon seeing the massive reptilian creature flap its mighty wings and rain down hot, fiery death from its high vantage point, causing everyone – even the bandits themselves – to slow their progress in favor of caution, if not outright panic, in the presence of such a monumentally terrifying threat. Yuichi, for his part, could only look at the sudden turn of events with a fatalistic laugh; an ‘I told you so’ ghosting past his teeth as if mocking the majority decision and their luck.

The fighter could not help but mull about the what-ifs in this situation. If they had only went through the plain, they probably would not be given this kind of an ordeal, and Yuichi himself could have simply left himself dozing off in the comfort of his rooftop spot, cradled by the night and the stars. However, such things were not meant to be it seemed; instead, death came in the form of a fire-breathing wyvern that smelled of rotten plants and stagnant water.

Out of sheer annoyance at the damnable creature’s decision to make an attack against the caravan, Yuichi bounded up to the tattered canvass of the Speedwagon and perched himself up the wooden arch – face to face with the winged death that threatened to incinerate them all with a single well-placed breath. He remembered that scene in Reign of Fire where the entire group was razed in one fell swoop by a giant dragon and almost laughed at how they were dangerously in the same situation as them. Then again, it was not like it mattered anyway, and Yuichi made that fact absolutely clear by even taunting the reaper by raising a middle finger towards the wyvern and thrusting his hips forward as if gesturing insults with his body.

In this act of utter insanity in the eyes of the game’s non-player characters, Yuichi’s taunts blurred the line between madness, which inadvertently caused the Speedwagon’s driver to push his horses to the limits their primal capacities. Now running at full gallop and fueled by fear beyond the point of sanity, Wagon Five became something less of a horse-drawn vehicle and now turned into the game-equivalent of Vin Diesel’s 1970 Dodge Charger from The Fast and the Furious.

If only to add to the sheer insanity, Yuichi placed his right hand to his breast and began singing the Canadian National Anthem, even imploring others to sing with him and join in the madness.

"@Anabelle Zhang (Annie), @Seigi (Sei-chan), join me in giving praise to the land of many beavers! OH CANADA~" he began while turning back to face the wyvern.

  41. With the last of the bandits having been dealt with, Emil could only give a glance toward the two who were originally riding this wagon with him before he looked up through the hole. The night was dark, the stars shimmering in the blackened sky, but there, he could just make out the outline of a large, winged creature. Another roar had him gulping and almost shaking in his boots. Just how in the world were they going to get away from that thing? Better yet, had the person who was driving this carriage even survived the onslaught from the bandits? Emil sure hoped so because he had no skills, whatsoever, in carriage driving or surviving a dragon.
