______Kaedé would not have much time to react to the girl until she watched her food, even if it was poorly made get destroyed. Looking up as flashes of memories crossed her mind of how she knew this girl after she cussed at her. Kaedé was more angry at the girl however as she worked hard on the food and now it was ruined, the anger and the fragments of the past simply made Kaedé try to get herself another plate full.

”I am not fully sure how you know but I can tell it likely was not the best encounter with my other side… I’d say sorry but that would likely mean little, nor can I offer this food to try and make amends because to be honest it hitting the floor was an improvement…”

_____Kaedé would not be alarmed by the attack towards her, she simply moved slightly away and started trying to eat her next plate of food as she worked her mind to try and get the full story of her encounter with this girl. Sadly she still only got bits and pieces and cursed herself for having a dual personality that was not big on sharing things. If the girl tried to attack her food again Kaedé would move it out of the way and if she was attacked herself she would simply take it.

”I suppose that much is a understandable reaction… I can’t say it was not me who did that to you, but I would like to at least say at times I’m not the one in control. It also should be noted I can’t mend the wrongs or take things back without the fear my other side will ruin it all over. If you wish to get revenge against me for the things I have done I simply request it waits until we finish this task or maybe when there aren't people around to stop you from attacking someone who fight back. But than again I can’t say for sure my other side will take getting attacked without fighting back at that time either…”

Zelrius had caught his breath following the long chase. It was over, the brood mother of the gators, the small juvenile that had chewed up the wheel of the second cart he found himself on, and the bandits themselves, along with their Hydromancer friend, all gone. While it actually hadn't been a bad deal for the Golden haired man, or much anyone else in the entourage to begin with. Atleast, it didn't seem like it to Zel. He had actually had quite a bit of fun with those turns of events, it was just... intense. Between the cart double hopping, putting out fires and then throwing a sabre through a mage only to watch his body land on the receding ground behind him, things were a bit heated for sure. The man shuddered at the sound that his mind made up when the Hydromancer did hit the ground, and his bandit comrades rolled over him as if nothing had happened. Maybe they were expecting it? That was a thought that crossed his mind. There was a slight bit of feeling bad for the bandits creeping up on the man; They had risked it all, and lost so much of their time and men, and got nothing but that one lousy cart. A cart, by the way, that Zelrius was about ninety percent sure was empty once the team had left.

Speaking of the cart, he moved over to Claire, a woman he had slightly antagonized before the Bandit attack, and threw a few more words of banter at her. The girl didnt seem to take it well, giving him a quite serious answer in response. The man smirked, opening his mouth to throw back a witty remark before being promptly interrupted by Alonso. The man didn't seem to see that Zelrius was just poking fun; he actually had quite a bit of respect for Claire, though he could see why it would be precieved as otherwise. Rather than explain himself, he just wandered off, admiring the trees.

An idea popped into his head, remembering Jeanne's words of advice, he pulled his gloves tight and made sure his jacket covered his complete upper body, covering all bare skin. Dont get cut, He reminded himself as he climbed the tree, picking at the fruits.

She had managed a decent amount of potions and salved bandages in the end, including one or two that could help with crystallization if needed. Well, it wouldn't just help with crystallization, it would wipe out pretty much any sort of outside influence that the drinker was under. Tabula Rasa, her magnum opus. It wasn't quite refined all that well yet so it would sting going down but better than turning into a rock. The other items were standard, not quite fast enough to classify as healing potions but certainly aided in recovery. Not only in body, but in mind as well, she felt that she would need to take one herself soon. With only herself to distribute potions, it would take quite a while to get them all out so she started looking for someone who could help.

In the end, everyone looked too busy so she made a makeshift sign off a bent spear, a wooden board and some ink-like concoction she had made. The sign simply said Medical Supplies: One dose per person in plain, bold text along with a few hearts scribbled along the sides to make its intents clear. She found a probably unused crate, a clearing somewhere in the camp and started setting potions and bandages on the crate. After planting down the sign, she kneeled by the side of the crate and closed her eyes. By the Elysid she was tired... If anyone bothered to stop by and ask for aid, she would just direct them to the impromptu stand in a flat voice, donned to hide her growing fatigue and just because she couldn't be bothered to do any more. Speaking of help however, she pulled out a small bottle filled with Sweet Memories. Taking a small sip, the comforting taste brought back old memories, as it always had.

"Aerana? Wake up, today is your first day of training..."

Either this particular grove was messing with her or she had a really shitty luck or both, Aria just couldn't believe such a simple task, something even a kid could reasonably do would fail her. The green-haired Felis groaned in frustration as she slowly sat up, face stuck in perplexion. "Eh?" At least until Emil's voice broke the silence, her feline ears turned to him first before her gaze followed, looking into the single light brown iris of the human male. "No." Aria pouted, a light blush covering her cheeks, "My pride and dignity as a Forest Ranger is in utter shambles." Aria hugged her knees, weeping from embarrassment.

"Sure..." The Felis answered unenthusiastically at Emil's boast, well let's see how he do it. One one hand, she was amused by his confidence and hoped he made it to the top, on the other hand, it'd be rubbing salt on her wound if he made it considering he was a Magus, not a Ranger, if anyone could climb tall trees, it'd be her. "Ah..." As things turned out, the ever-fickle crystalline bark betrayed his efforts, his tall frame falling flat on the gemified ground. "Hehe..." She muffled a giggle, right, if she couldn't do it, no one could.

...and again, this was only in her thoughts.

"Wha-?!!" As sudden and unexpected as a thunder on clear skies, a golden-haired blur pounced upon the sitting Felis, literally stepping on her. A foot planted on each shoulder, using her[ as a stepping stone to boost her up. It was quite unsurprising to see mixed confusion and rage contorting on the Felis' face, slitted green pupils narrowing at the offending slut, "Hey, bitch!" Aria roared, it was that bard slut from the Gold Dust quest, what was she doing here?! Was she getting the fruit? Oh no, not on her watch!

Unwilling to let the blonde bitch succeed where she failed, Aria abruptly stood up and clung to the bark once more, determination in her eyes, pure burning determination! She climbed up, up, and up...! Almost there...! Yes! She would make it!

    Nope! Said Mistress Fate.

"Ah..." Slipped and off she went, back into the ground where 'mongrels' like her belonged, no doubt the thought crossed that scantily-dressed slut's mind. "Fuuuuuuuuuuuuu- guh!!!" Her curse was cut off as she slammed against the cold unforgiving ground.

    She's done.

For the first time since their arduous journey began, Aiko felt like she could finally take it easy for a while. After going through an onslaught of unfortunate events involving a group of bandits, a suicidal Hydromancer, and one too many flying alligators, the caramel-haired cat-girl was more than happy to welcome some down time from all this insanity.

Don't get her wrong, Aiko's main goal in trying out Terrasphere and returning to gaming in general was to experience all sorts of adventures. However, it was apparent that she wasn't ready to experience them at such a fast pace, and with so many instances of brushing close to death.

While she liked adventure as the next guy, she also appreciated being given the chance to process her experiences first before being thrust into a new adventure. The scary part was her obvious lack of skill in her current Masteries. Maybe it was only a stroke of beginner's luck yet again that she was able to contribute to the entourage instead of becoming a liability altogether.

She at least felt better when @Xavier Weissman congratulated her, along with the rest of her teammates for a job well done and proposed getting some time for themselves to rest. having someone acknowledge your efforts truly helps immensely in boosting one's morale. Even though they barely survived the trouble they founds themselves inside that forest, the important thing was they were still a relatively capable rescue team. It would be a shame for all of them if they ended up getting rescued by the very people they needed to save because of how incompetent they were.

"Thanks... I didn't really do much but let me return the favor by saying all of you did great as well." told the Felis to Xavier while at the same time acknowledging ,

While she could see most of the adventurers either fixing themselves, their wagons, cooking, and even doing some sort of attempt at cartography, Aiko was heavily intrigued by the abundance of crystallized fruits in the area. Can't really say she was surprised since according to her mini-map, the place they chose to set up camp for the night is caled Crystallized Zalra.

"I bet those fetch a high price. Screw it, I'm getting at least one of those for myself!" She declared enthusiastically.

Using her staff to perform an action similar to Pole Vaulting, she used the leverage generated by her staff to launch her self high onto one of the trees. She would fiercely cling onto said tree once she makes contact and carefully traverse it until she managed toe pick some random fruit from the tree. Once she has done so, the Felis would somersault safely down onto the grown, a triumphant grin on her face as she held her prize in her hands.

Not to be bested by a woman – granted, said woman had Emil giving her a thorough once over – the boy was quick to stand, dust himself off, and eye the tree again. It shouldn’t be that hard, he thought, and having seen one person succeed, he didn’t think he would have a problem reaching the fruit this second time. He knew what to expect this time and how he needed to shift his weight and that the bark was cold and slipper: not at all like tree bark from the real world at all.

He cleared his throat and tried again, this time at least managing to get onto the first branch before losing his balance and, again, falling out of the tree. Landing on the ground, on his chest, he coughed and groaned, pretty sure that he bruised a rib if not broke one. Ugh, he just didn’t get it. He could climb trees back and forth in the real world. Why didn’t that translate here? Was it because he moved the muscle slider all the way down instead of all the way up?

I give up, he told @Aria , a note of defeat making him sigh. I have no clue how that girl made it up there, but I give. It didn’t mean that he wouldn’t try to get a fruit later, though. After all, he at least knew one person who had one… @Eileen Dover

"Are you fuckin' kiddin me?" Were the words that came right out of Vivian's mouth. Her steel gaze held swiftly to the words echoed out to her by the docile nature of this woman. With a hand reaching out almost to strangle her, Vivian sighed and let it all go with a whiff of her breath. Frowning and slightly annoyed by this turn of events, she had a few options. Pummel the woman and make a show until her 'other side' woke up or just forget the ordeal altogether for the time being and let things be.

She took a mild swig of the wine bottle that she held in her hand and then took a seat next to the woman and offered her the wine with a passive motion of her hand, "What you did. Or what your other side did was not very nice, I can tell you that much. You are not privy to the experiences of that Golden Eyed Woman, a shame. This could have been a lot more fun to take advantage of you while others watched. But, I suppose it can't be helped. Are you like this offline too? The whole dual personality? So at times you black out when your other half is in control, huh? Or maybe...you are just in dire need for some attention? Hey look at me! I have an ID complex! A scream for attention no doubt because you want people to recognize you. I guess we all have our wants and desires."

Vivian looked blankly into the flames in front of her as they had sat there. Rolling her tongue across her lips and then and then sweeping the long tendril of royal colored hair off her shoulder as it unfurled towards her back. She looked back at her once captor. "You more or less took advantage of me, ya know? I was doing something naughty and you thought it was best to punish me and punish me you did. But I wasn't strong enough to stop your magic. I swore that day I would make you pay for such crimes against me. Tonight, however, seems to not be that night."

Vivian would have lied if she said she didn't enjoy it. That was an experience she fully was not aware of she could have had in this game, but now that she had a taste of it, the idea of screwing this redheaded woman again was something to look forward to.

"My name is Vivian, I don't think we actually had made introductions the last time you kinda had me pinned down so to speak. Le sigh. But whatevs now. What is done is done. Not to mention the curse you had placed on me. I remember you saying how you get off on pain...But that might not be true for this current persona. No fun at all. Well anyways. Enjoy that shit you call dinner. I'm gonna go back to my tent and relieve myself of the day of the stress. If you feel a little lonely, why don't you come by?"

Once he was got down from the wagon with @Xavier Weissman's help, Jace sighed in relief that it was finally over. Yet he knew that even the chaos has ended, their true mission has just begun. Considering that their destination felt closer than ever, the odds of being attacked will be higher than ever. So it was best to rest up and prepare for what will he expect tomorrow.

But while most of them are fully resting at the camp, Jace decided to use this forest as an opportunity to draw a map of this area. Considering that he needed to spend some time drawing runes to note down his spells, he felt that cartography might be a good way for him to get a good grasp of shapes and language of this world.

As he wandered around the forest, he tried to mark down every path and interesting spots he felt important for his future visit here. Although, despite his knowledge on how to draw and detail a map during his library visits, his skills were proven as the same quality as an amateur. Not what he wanted for the map, but at least he was learning...

Seeing this, he turned back to the camp to rest up for tomorrow's departure.

There was something chilly about the Aris Glass Forest.

Though the temperature had dropped since their arrival, and promised to continue doing so, Magdalyn recognized mind-tricks when she experienced them. It was merely the sight of the crystallized trees, glimmering in the flickering camp-light, that sent her to shivering. When the girl let herself forget where she was, it was a picture directly from a mid-Michigan winter night. A forest, trapped in ice, shining in the headlights as she drove back from some warm, cozy place. Christmas at her grandparents, perhaps. She could practically hear the crunch of snow under her boots, feel the swirling of it around her feet.

Of course, Magdalyn was also exhausted, which played a part in her illusions. She had only put a handful of hours into the game, and yet there she was, climbing out of an event wagon. For someone who had only dedicated herself to the game a few days prior, Mags thought she was holding up fairly well. Well, at least, for a complete and utter beginner. Her lack of experience had stood out like a mean, gnarled weed in an otherwise polished garden. Initially, she had been disappointed by her lack of protection. In the end, however, she had determined that being unarmed was a good thing. Even with a weapon equipped, she would have undoubtedly fumbled it the entire time. As it was, the blue-haired newbie had already tripped over her own feet twice, run into a wagon once, and only nearly avoided the chomping jaws of a gator by diving behind someone else. Real hero material, a small part of her intoned.

But she was alive, and that was something. Alive, tired, and more than a little hungry. Others had retired to their respective posts, ringed around crackling campfires, and inside tents that seemed to simply spring from the hard earth. Though she longed for the warmth and safety of both options, Magdalyn tore herself the other direction. Turning her back to the rest and relaxation was a sort of symbolic gesture, and besides, she had skills to master.

So she sidled the other direction, head on a swivel, gaze combing the darkness for any sign of a trainer. Or, a master, she supposed was the better term. How was she meant to determine who could help her? Had that been in the guide? Caught up in her attempt to find a source of knowledge, two nearby individuals flew entirely beneath her radar. It was not until a cry of pain shattered the night's relative still, and her vision was obscured by a blinding blue light, that Mags slid to a halt. She was only ten or so paces off, giving her a front-row seat to her first demonstration of in-game healing. "Whoa."

"♪~ Alligator~ Flying Gator~ Flying Alligator ♪~" After having run around in circles to get a better overview of the area the small hero girl arrived at a place with quite a collection of people. "Is there something for free?" She wondered as she got closer.

Those trees had... gems? Hanging there as a sort of fruit? For just a split second the girl decided to better not try her luck. She knew enough about people that money, that CAPITALISM, was one of many roots of evil. But before she managed to consider to just turn away the hero girl was already on top of a tree.

"Mhm..." Sure, everything looked expensive considering it were gems but surely there was something grander? "Trash!" She threw the Fig away before grabbing... another Fig? "That's also just t-"

No. This was bad. Very bad. Without a second thought the pure, innocent girl had sinned. She had let herself get carried away to taste God's forbidden apple. Horrible. Horrible. SIMPLY HORRIBLE. FAILURE.

"STUPID STUPID STUPID!" Once again Seigi punched herself literally in the face, not considering that despite easily climbing up she kind-of knocked herself down. With her head about to first crash into the ground the girl did a quick roll mid-air to land with her feet on the ground. Still, the shock hurt. "Urgh..."

Looking at the Fig, once again, Seigi shook her head. "A small...setback. I'M A HERO NOT A MONEY-HUNGRY CRIMINAL!" Throwing the fig away she had her head held low in shame as she simply walked off towards the camps main area. Realizing too late that maybe she could have used those fruits as bait for Flying Alligators... .

Zelrius climbed to the top of the tree quickly, hugging it and then putting his feet parallel to the 'bark'. Step by step and hoist by hoist, the man lifted himself all the way up it, keeping one arm with a firm grasp around it as a gloved hand reached for one of the fruit on top. It seemed just barely out of his reach, so with a slight turn of his body and a bit of stretching, Zelrius just reached and grabbed whatever came to his hand. Once an object was felt, he pulled his arm back slowly, turning his body back just ever so slightly to inspect it. His face flattened in disappointment; the one he had grabbed had matched most of the others on pretty much every single tree. No, he wanted something better. With a quick scan, a slightly more luminscent one caught his eye, and with a release of his grip, the shittier one feel to the floor. Zelrius didn't even wait to hear it clash against the ground before readjusting his crouched against the tree position to reach for what appeared to be a better one.

However, the reaching and stretching was putting a lot of tension on his one arm, and he didn't know how much long he could hold on. So, the instant his hand felt and firmly grasped the prize of his current desire, he instantly released his grip on the tree, pushing backward as to get away from it, an attempt to avoid the crystallized bark. It was successful, however, he landed with a thud back first into the dirt. Still better than whatever the hell it is these crystals do to you Was his only comforting though as he stood up and used his free hand to slowly dust his nice clothing off. The man stored the fruit away, intending to get ready to climb another tree. That desire quickly melted away as his food meter alerted him that it was running dry, and so, with a sigh, he headed back to the camp.

There he didn't say much, just sought out food, eventually finding @Blithe Bombón's set up, moving his way over to guage if he was allowed to take any. He looked up at the woman and spoke to her, and after a brief exchange, sat down to eat. The food was wonderful, more so than he had expected from a random camp cook. Will have to pay her back, somehow. Was his only passing thought as he reclined at the camp and allowed the people to work around him.

Blowing tufts of loose, pink strands of hair out of her face, hands on her hips, Comet felt enough determination to give fruit-grabbing another try. A shiver ran down her spine with the thought of failure on the mind. But, with a reminder of the other fruit she'd successfully managed to obtain the last time, pride overcame the sensation. Comet felt lucky as she stretched her limbs out to begin the long way up once more. The tall tree certainly took more time the second round. Less confidence, less excitement, but the same amount of motivation that got her there at first. All the fruits held a special shine that both provoked temptation and created a sense of awe. Wanting to touch, but not risking the chance of ruining the moment, Comet's fingers skimmed until she found a fruit worthy of selling. Though she'd love to jump down the risk wasn't worth the imminent pain.

On the way back to camp Comet's usual dull eyes lit up with a fire of envy and admiration. She had the luxury of watching @Aiko Yamauchi and her unique way of reaching the top of the fruit tree as compared to Comet's clumsy, embarrassing climb. It was hard not to smile in reaction to the cat girl's somersault finale. Clapping, the pink-haired women commented with a toothy grin, "That's real talent! You really beat all the other tree-climbing competition out here.".

It had been already a very strange day for Blake. Not only did she woke up to death and flying alligators, but now she was surrounded by a forest made entirely of cristalized flora and possibly fauna too. A mix of amaze and wonder ran throught the young felis's head, as she touched any branches and trees that she could while the wagon passed by. Did they actually grew that way, or their cristalization was a fruit from something else? And if the first was the case, she needed to get a sappling for one of those trees. Was there a housing system? She hoped there was, because one of those trees would look majestic! She needed two of them. One for herself, and the other to sell. But she would need to take care of that later. Because right now she was carrying a barely alive person in her shoulders, and she really needed help for him. But as help didn't came, she did what she could do.

She laid him on the ground, and removed his bandage. The wound was still very nasty, but the bleeding seemed to have gotten better, even if just a bit. And in that case, every bit mattered. She then took the rest of the bandages she found and was about to wrap up his wounds again, hoping that some healer would find her and help her. Because she knew those bandages would not save him for long, and she would be damned to let someone die in front of her. Yet, not having taken any supportive masteries, she was hopeless to help that person. This was a game, like many others, but due to the circunstances, and how everything felt so real, seeing someone die would mess with her as much as a real life death would.

But sure enough, her prayers were answered, as @Vina Skysong arrived to her side. A felis of stunning beauty, which left her speechless for a moment. She didn't swing that way, but damn that girl put on some serious time on character creation. After her initial internal fangirling, she just nodded to Vina, before going to the man's other side and separating her legs, as to isolate the wound better. "He has been bleeding since the wagon attack. I tried my best to help him out, but i'm no healer." She then waited for Vina to do whatever she would do, hoping that it would help the poor man out.

Magi was getting a bit tired. The night was going on and she couldn't log out. Well, she could but if she did what if something bad happened? She had to stay and protect whoever she could. It was a good thing this was the weekend and her parents were away. As the night went on and her eyes grew heavy. Magi began to sing her made up theme song to herself to stay awake. It was still not perfect but sshe often felt a bit more confident when she sang it. It was hers. It was her hero theme. That was pretty cool beans... even if it wasn't really official or anything.

    "M-M-Ma M-M-Ma, M-M-Magi!
    M-M-Ma M-M-Ma, M-M-Magi!

    M-M-Ma M-M-Ma, M-M-Magi!
Magi Heart yeah go go go!!
All the as meanies fall, she keeps on standing tall!
Never give up, the people are waiting. Your love is so big, your justice is the best!
    M-M-Ma M-M-Ma, M-M-Ma...
She is the one you can see flying into the night to save the daaaa-ay-ay!
She will always protect youuuu, and eat her sweets when times are cooool!
She is the Magical Magi! Magi Heart!!!!!!"

She was finally getting good with the tune, yay! Someday, she will sing it for Eldhi and see what she thinks...

As Vina knelt down to help with the wounded man she noticed that the Felis who had been looking after him had, just like Vina herself, taken a more vulpine appearance than one would expect from a Felis, a race which was supposed to consist of cat people. Vina wondered if that was normal, if people usually used the Felis race to make themselves look not only like cat people, but also like wolves, foxes, dogs, perhaps even bears, or if it was sheer coincidence that she happened to encounter one of the few people who shared Vina's (somewhat accidental) trait of not liking entirely like a cat. Well, foxes and cats shared physical traits, so it wasn't like she looked entirely unlike a feline, but still.

However right now wasn't the time for socializing or asking many questions. The Felis had undone the bandages to get a look at the wounds, and Vina could see that the man indeed was in rather dire need of medical attention. It looked like Blake had done the best she could, but first aid had limited use when faced with the wounds received in battle. Vina wasn't exactly an expert in the field, since she wasn't studying medicine in real life (she had considered it, but had been forced to concede that as playful and free-spirited as she was she probably wasn't the best choice for a profession where you had to be very careful and meticulous), but she wouldn't be surprised if wounds like these could kill a man. She would have felt somewhat nauseous studying a bloody wounds from this up close if she wasn't feeling the urgency.

"I understand. I'll do what I can to help him." She told @Blake Elgis , the white-furred Felis closing her eyes and taking a deep breath before focusing. She placed one hand on the man's chest, where his heart was, and the other hovered just above the wound, not quite touching it. Remembering the chant she had made for herself Vina began to softly sing, a slow and soothing melody with her soft voice shaping words in a strange language, one that didn't belong anywhere on Earth but here in Terrasphere was used to cast the spells of life and growth. Even if the words couldn't easily be understood the intentions were clear, Vina's desire to help this man and restore him to a happy and healthy state filling her voice even as a green glow enveloped both her hands. The hand on the man's heart would fill him with energy, to help him overcome the pain and begin healing, and the hand above the wound would aid and speed up the healing process. Vina may still be inexperienced, but she was still determined to not let that get in her way of helping this man, since it would be horrible if this man died because of her not being as good as she should be.
