Mizuki returned to the inn that she was staying at, sitting down at the bar and listening to the stories of the people around her. It was still early in the day, and she hadn't really done much other than gone out to buy some food. She found it interesting that in this world she could actually see how much longer she could go without food before it'd begin hindering her, but other than that it was essentially the same as on Earth. It was pretty amusing to watch the food meter go back up while you ate though. Aside from the taste of the food (which was just as good as on Earth, something which Mizuki appreciated immensely) and the feeling of it feeling your stomach you actually saw how it was helping you, which could serve as an additional encouragement to eat on time. Which is why as she listened to the people around her Mizuki was gnawing on a piece of bread, which wasn't necessarily the tastiest but since it was still warm from the oven it was still quite enjoyable. Her tail idly swished from side to side behind her as her ears stood up straight, picking up several different conversations. Even when it wasn't even noon yet it seemed there were people who had reason to be at the inn, and Mizuki didn't think all of them were adventurers. Not too surprising, since without something like the internet people who wanted to keep in contact had to meet up daily, and there weren't many places as good for that as the inn, where there were plenty of chairs, tables, rooms, and beyond that there was food and drink to be had. As Mizuki listened to the conversations most of it was irrelevant, only really being important to those who would gather information for a living (information brokers and whatnot), people with a specific profession, or the people doing the talking. It was a relaxing sound, however: one of the things that Mizuki had come to appreciate in Terrasphere was how it had a lot of very pleasant sounds. Without cars, phones, computers, television, or any other digital device you could actually hear the world around you, and if you were in a settlement of civilization you could hear people bustling about without the machinery getting in the way... much, at least. There was still the forge, for example, but even that sounded more natural than all the bleeps from electronics and the constant roaring of engines. Of course the most significant difference was how clear the air was in this world without any pollution (Mizuki imagined that it was similar to what people described when they were at the top of a mountain, except not quite as cold), but the sounds were also important. However one conversation drew her attention. A group sitting at the bar just like she herself was talking about so-called Grass Knolls, who were terrorizing the area. Mizuki didn't show any sign that she was listening in, instead just swallowing the piece of bread and ripping off another piece while the information flowed into her ears. It seemed like another group of settlers had tried to set up a big camp in the plains, which could later on be expanded into a village, but the Grass Knolls had chased them out and killed those who refused to flee. From the way that the men were talking about it this wasn't necessarily new: instead they sounded more exasperated that people were still bothering to try. It seemed like these Grass Knolls had been an issue for quite some time now, yet since they only protected their territory and Falderen was quite prosperous the royal court had never deemed it important enough to try and get rid of them. That or the Grass Knolls were so firmly entrenched that chasing them out just wasn't worth the effort. While considering this Mizuki got off of the stool she had been sitting on, then went upstairs to her room, a thoughtful frown on her face. It wasn't necessarily her business, but on the other hand it wasn't like there was any reason for her not to make use of that information. She highly doubted that she could actually free Pormont from the dominance of the Grass Knolls, but maybe she'd be able to thin their ranks a bit and get some more training in as well. It would be two birds in one stone, and Mizuki found that she liked using her abilities as an adventurer to actually make life easier for the people living in the world. She was an outsider who only came here for the sake of enjoying herself and experiencing a different aspect of life (namely the more outgoing and social one), so she would avoid getting tied down. However she would willingly pay her keep, as it were, by doing some good for the people she encountered. But it was better not to do something like this alone, so she'd have to invite some people. Her first thought of course was towards Kaede, the first real friend she made in this game and someone who should have no reason to refuse the opportunity to help out the people of Pormont by messing up some Grass Knolls. Well, she might have one... Mizuki wasn't entirely sure how Kaede was progressing with getting used to her newfound magic abilities, so she'd still have to ask instead of just assuming she'd say yes. As for the second person... Mizuki didn't really know a lot of people yet, so she decided to just see if Zelrius was also interested. He had been the one to suggest getting rid of some of the goblins in Brisshal, after all, and this task was very similar, at least with the intentions and goals. Having made up her mind Mizuki opened her menu to send the both of them a message. She was pretty sure that Kaede was still in the area, but it might take a bit longer for Zelrius to arrive... Well, they'd find out when they'd find out. If Zelrius was too far away to arrive in time she and Kaede could get started with the two of them, and he could join them later on.
Zelrius opened up his tab to a notification. That was a new thing to him for sure, not knowing what all the dinging and colours were about. With a quick flick of closing and opening his hand, the golden haired man opened up his menu to see the little mail symbol with a notification. His heart kind of leapt; semi excited to have actually gotten contacted by someone and sure as hell hoping it wasn't maybe one of those system wide messages that every game and service seemed to put out. And to his luck; it wasn't. He saw the sender and was caught by surprise for a moment, not actually expecting Mizuki to actually take him up on his offer. The offer that is, that he gave her upon their last departure a few days earlier. He had quite enjoyed his time with the pair; they were cordial and good fighters, Kaede's magic being impressive with the Goblins. He clicked the little message icon, writing a quick message back about his location. It was unfortunate; she seemed to be in a semi hurry, and there was no way he could make it to the village she was at in any less than an hour, maybe two. With a sigh, he informed the pair of his current situation, though added that he was still on his way if they were willing to wait a bit. Zelrius had traveled to Stokbon earlier that morning from Brisshal and Honeyhome in an effort to maybe gear up some. He had gotten his hands on some slightly better weapons, and not a whole lot else. The man came to realize that gold was easy to come by here, and therefore, the numbers of which were artificially inflated. This fact made him almost instantly self-conscious, remembering when he had given Mizuki and Kaede a gesture of good will in the form of 20 gold, now realizing that wasn't actually a whole lot in the game. He was disappointed i himself, hoping the pair hadn't felt insulted by such a thing. Though he supposed that if they were, they showed no signs of it. So, with that in mind he packed up what he was doing; having spent time in Stokbon today getting new gear and talking to people, trying to forge connections, and headed out toward the Village Mizuki had mentioned in her Invitation. With that he was on the stone roads sprawling in every direction, the one he was on specifically headed southeast-east, along the rolling fields of the shoreline. The man hadn't been the Pormont since he had first logged in; having ran away from the area as quickly as possible at the sight of the fabled Grass Gnolls. He had long plotted a crusade against them. Though this wasn't exactly of crusading magnitude, he did trust those two girls enough to hold their own in a fight, and maybe, just maybe take out a few of them. Though Zelrius swore, just as he did with the goblins, he'd have a plan to wipe them out one day; if the game so allowed that. But of course, there was the added thought, that they weren't already wiped out. That kind of put a damper on his attitude with the whole idea, having the insecurity of inadequacy. Thinking that if it was possible to handle them and ensue peace, that it might have already been done. It was worrying, to think that the monsters just spawned randomly and terrorized as they pleased. But, that was counteracted by the fact that he remembered the board population had acted by the same rules of normal prey-predator; a bug having killed most of their natural predators, leaving their population to boom, causing the subsequent attacking of several farms in the area. That seemed natural enough, and with the players' help, it seemed the boar population was eventually put back under steady control. So, he kept those mechanics in mind, wondering if that applied to everything all the time, or if that was purely an event caused by a the Devs in an attempt to stir up trouble. It wasn't that Zelrius had a problem with any of that, just that it seemed far more fantastical and exciting to have things happen in an almost natural way, similar to his talk with Jeanne the other day. At the remembering of that talk, Zelrius pulled the handkerchief out from its wrap around his collar, fiddling with it as he did often. It was an extremely nice handkerchief, though there wasn't anything special he didn't already know about it; having fiddled with it often enough since that meeting outside of Dormont. As soon as he had pulled it out, Zelrius had restyled it to his collar once more, going back to his random thoughts of his agendas and plans while the paved stone melted into dirt back roads. --- Within a little over an hour, Zelrius arrived at the aforementioned Village, getting a bit tired of travelling. He had walked from the center of Brisshal, to Stokbon, and now here he was again, and that wasn't even the end of the travels; the fields and mountains of Pormont being still a little ways off yet. Still, he wasn't one to complain vocally, it was just a minor grievance he had. Within a few minutes of being back in this village, Zelrius found the all too recognizable Inn that he had ran into Mizuki and Kaede in, heading inside and gazing about. With a quick scan he found the Felis, making his way over and pulling up a chair beside her, deciding to open with a light tease. "So, did you ever get around to doing Phanta's suggestion?" He was intentionally vague, not wanting to clue any of the surrounding people in on what was being talked about, but direct enough, he hoped, that Mizuki would remember the reference.
_____Taking the trip to Dunnstand so far had been good for Kaedé, she got to get away from her usual troubles and found some really good sea food books to read over and pick some for maybe having at her own restaurant. It was a distant goal and not exactly one she was in any rush to reach just yet, she was still young and wanted to keep learning things about the world of Terra sphere before settling down in the game to manage a property. Arms stretching behind her back as Kaedé made her way across the grasslands known for grass knolls. _____It was rather funny to the girl, the idea drawing a small smirk to her face as she walked without a weapon on her person or and worry for the exact spot she happen to be in. Since her departure from the port city across the grasslands she had started using sneak ability and having reached Mastered the girl was able to do just about anything it seemed without causing any alert around her. So she calmly walked the road back to Brisshal both training the mastery more and dealing with a new spirit. This one however was much more of an annoyance to Kaedé simply because of how HE acted. _____Kaedé's focus moved to the right as she watched the spirit pacing beside her, his voice muted for good reason as she watched the spirit wave his arms at the grass trying to ignite it like the area realm he had emerged from. Phanta had since been muted out by this rather loud and demanding spirit as it kept striking at the grass and glaring at Kaedé as they walked across the area. Tapping his mask near where the mouth would be until Kaedé waved and his voice was allowed to reach her again. Ra”Let’s just burn them all out, should be fun to watch!” _____Kaedé would sigh at the spirit before resuming her walk to the meeting point, likely arriving last as she waved from the grasslands towards the group with seemingly no worry at all about the knolls watching the group yet ignoring her, likely even the group would not pay her much notice as her sneak was still in effect and the girl was none the wise due to her more focused on dealing with the fire spirit talking beside her. @Ueno Mizuki | @Zelrius
As she waited for the two to reply Mizuki thought about what the best approach would be. With the three of them they could use the same simple tactic as before, which was to have Mizuki act as a decoy while Kaede used her magic to keep the targets from fighting back, so Zelrius could strike them from behind and Mizuki could join the fight while Kaede kept their targets busy with her magic. However she felt that the main reason that had gone so smoothly last time had been less about them and more about the fact that they had been fighting goblins. That didn't mean that she thought it was necessarily a bad strategy, but given the fact that the Grass Knolls would be tougher than the goblins (who had just been extremely weak: goblins were almost entirely reliant on having numbers and being small and cunning) a number of things could go wrong. Kaede's magic might not get a proper hold on the knolls, it might take too long to take care of them all so Kaede's magic would run out, and that would mean that Kaede would have to be protected again. The knolls might surpass Mizuki's expectations in terms of speed, so she could be caught while playing the act of bait. Besides, last time the goblins had been the ones to surprise them, and if the knolls managed to do the same thing Mizuki didn't think they'd get away with Kaede receiving some scratches. No, they would have to be more careful this time around. But that wasn't the same as actually thinking of a good alternative. If they stuck together they could get surrounded, but they couldn't spread up too much either... Maybe they should rely on Kaede to be on the offensive this time since she could attack from a distance, with Mizuki and Zelrius both acting as guards. If Kaede didn't have to keep all their enemies trapped in an illusion at the same time she should be capable of casting a lot more spells before she'd run out of energy. It'd also allow them to react better as the fight continued, since they wouldn't be spending everything they got in one go. However more important than all of that was that they should be the ones to plan the ambush this time. Even if it would be in the territory of the knolls they couldn't allow the enemy to have the advantage, since with the knolls it would be a lot more fatal. Instead of getting distracted by conversation Mizuki would have to be on point, using her Hunting mastery to look for signs of the knolls so they could decide when and where to attack. As she was considering this Mizuki received an answer from both Kaede and Zelrius, informing her that they were on their way but that it might take a while for them to get to her location. Mizuki would have preferred not to waste any time, but an hour or something shouldn't be too much of a loss, especially since it was still early in the day. Although the comment about a cooking book made Mizuki raise an eyebrow. She hadn't taken Kaede for the type that cooked. However she wasn't really the type to make fun of someone for a hobby or interest like that, so she decided to just wait for them to arrive, and in the meantime maybe think of some ideas for how to deal with the Grass Knolls. The beasts apparently were very aggressive towards anything that entered their territory, given how they had a habit of wiping out any attempted settlements on a regular basis. The fact that this kept happening also meant that they had claimed a large area, nearly the entirety of Pormont. With such a large territory there were too many knolls for them to have a hope of wiping them all out, so they'd have to settle for thinning their ranks a little. It wouldn't allow the people of Falderen to settle in the area, but it'd make it easier for them to travel across Pormont without being ambushed. It didn't take much longer before the first one arrived, although surprisingly it was Zelrius rather than Kaede. Mizuki looked over at Zelrius as he took a seat next to her, nodding in greeting and showing him a small smile. "I'm glad you were willing to participate. While I could take down a couple of them by myself I'm happier knowing you and Kaede will be there to help out as well. Grass Knolls should be a bit tougher to deal with than those goblins... Half of those ran away." Overwhelming numbers or not, goblins were also big cowards who weren't going to stick around if they thought it could get them killed. Given how they had willingly abandoned their comrades it seemed they also weren't very loyal to one another, even though their main advantage was that they could work together in such large numbers. When Zelrius mentioned Phanta's suggestion Mizuki was confused for a moment before she remembered what he must be talking about, at which point she frowned and looked towards the entrance of the inn. "You'll have to ask Phanta or Kaede if you want an answer to that. That's private information, but maybe they're more willing to share." She knew that wasn't the best way to try and avoid answering, but honestly she didn't think there were many ways to avoid giving something away, especially since she wasn't really the best liar. "In any case, we're going to have to be a bit more careful this time around, given our opponents. I suggest that rather than trying to bring them all down at once we move more carefully, and if Kaede has gained more control over her magic maybe she can attack them from a distance while we deal with any that get too close. That should also be less taxing for her than trying to incapacitate them all at the same time. For now let's go outside so Kaede has an easier time finding us." Since the entirety of Pormont was effectively the danger zone Mizuki would remain at the edge of what the knolls considered their territory, looking out over the plains which would have looked very inviting if it wasn't for the dangerous creatures moving about. It looked like the knolls were confident enough of their control over the area that they didn't even bother to hide. Maybe they reserved that for when they had an actual target to ambush. Since Mizuki and Zelrius were outside of their territory the knolls just gave them glares as if warning them to stay out of their territory, Mizuki sighing as she wished she could have gotten the drop on them instead. Looking around she didn't notice the incredibly stealthed Kaede, frowning as the minutes passed by and she still didn't see the girl. "It seems we might be here for a while... I hope you don't mind too much, I'd rather not start without Kaede but if you're in a hurry we might have to."
Zelrius nodded and smiled politely as she began to speak. He had hoped to maybe be of more use this time around; afterall, he had just spent the last few days out in the wilds of Brisshal and Astorea, swinging his blades and trying to get improvement in their skills. However, it seemed to be slow going once he got Proficient in both of his fighting masteries. It was those times spent alone that the man really contemplated what he was after. Of course, it was wealth and fame; two things he was more than lacking in in the real world, and Terra provided the promise that you could live out your desires; that's why the genre of entertainment was called fantasy. Something a lot of writers didn't seem to get when he was young. Still though, even in fantasy, he was a sucker for atleast semi-realism. Of which, Terra held true to. People could do fantastical things, but within its own bearing rules. The consistency was phenomenal in game. Still, even with those days spent fighting various things and meeting random assortments of people, he couldn't shake the feeling that he was eternally behind. The Princess' rescue mission thing was in a few days, and the man began to seriously doubt his own ability to help. Regardless of which, he'd go, promising to impress the Princess and win her favor one day. Though, his under confidence led him to doubt his willingness or even capability to do so soon, let alone ever. Still he trudged along every day, and this was just another opportunity to brush up on his skills before that whole ordeal. Pormont was an interesting chance to do so again. The Goblins had left him with a bad taste in his mouth; having ventured back twice since the trio had gone off and still coming out empty handed. Zelrius grew increasingly frustrated with the Goblins, his vows to do harm against them slowly ramping up to a point where he might be able to justify genocide now. But at that moment, he was reminded of one of the few people he had actually connected with in game. The Felis right before him, Mizuki. His frustration slowly slipped with their memory as he asked himself what her thoughts on the things were, remember that he had to kind of bald-faced lie just to get her to come. Or did he? He did lie, but was it necessary? Probably not, now that he thought about it. It was just on impulse that he acted that way, praying and hoping for any kind of help. And all in all, he was glad that one way or another it did end up working out. He quite enjoyed Mizuki and Kaede, though his opinion of the latter was currently flat; having had very little to no social interaction with the girl since the last round'about. He was hoping this one would be different for the girl, a million questions buzzing through his mind and no outlet for them yet. Speaking of Kaede, Mizuki did dignify his question with a response. Zelrius didn't expect one, but it was entertaining, and his face lit up with a devious smile. "No need to ask, You answered the question by refusing to answer, but not telling me no." He reasoned through it like that anyway, not exactly sure one way or the other, only assuming. He continued on "Will have to ask her for details though. Yknow, for Science." He wasn't actually interested in the details himself, never really having a knack for that kind of interaction, and having very little experience in it to begin with. Still, it was fun to use her words against her like that and continue poking fun. Also on the subject of Kaede was her being late. "Yea, I am more than willing to wait for our Knife-earen friend." It was true, he had no problem waiting. He had felt guilty for two things; the first being hathe had made them wait and therefore was in no position to say no to it. The second, was that he hadn't realized until he thought about it a few days later,Kaede was Yladian. For some reason, that didnt sit well with him. That race always made the golden haired man extremely uncomfortable, calling his memory back to his run-in with that one selling the Food-Bombs in the midsts of Dormont. He'd have to catch up with that woman some day, and maybe apologize for being so awkward. With a few thoughts, the man responded to her comments regarding strategy. "I think youre right that Caution is key. Last time, they got the jump on us. I'd much prefer it if we moved slower and quieter this time. I am in no rush to get anywhere, and as long as Kaede isn't blowing her energy faster than a drunk nineteen-year-old does at a party, than I request that we take our time, and move with thought this time." His analogies were always vulgar, feeling seemingly comfortable enough with the Felis to speak freely like that. Zelrius never understood why that's the way he compared things; it being a stark contrast to his otherwise sophisticated air of movement and speech. Yet, he blurt it out, without giving a second thought, knowing it'd get the picture across. The man said he was in no hurry, but that wasn't exactly true. He had no where else to be, but also didnt want to tick the daylight hours away and away waiting for someone. Out of a spike of impatience, he spoke once more "How long until she gets here? Any idea?" (@Kaede Hoshi @Ueno Mizuki)
_____Kaedé wanted to laugh a bit seeing as the group was talking about her but did not seem to notice she was approaching yet. Moving her hand down to her lips before she chose to whistle loudly breaking her sneak effect and drawing focus to the knolls who had been watching the two towards the girl already in their territory with loud growls. It would be a few moments before Kaedé took notice she just set herself up to get attack but waving her hands slowly and reaching to her katana at her side she did not seem much bothered by the approaching threats. _____As blade slowly rose from the sheath before fire spit from the metal and Kaedé grinned happily, her eyes glowing with a small fire as she rushed forward cutting a knoll at the waist with little resistance before spinning the weapon in her hand and dashing or the next knoll who thought she was an easy target being alone in their territory. As the grass in a large area began shifting closer to Kaedé it seemed the Knolls did not like her at all, maybe they had a better memory than NPCs and recalled her rampage here when she was still rather weak as a player. ”Well aren't we going to cut down their numbers, or do you to just want to watch this hotness fighting? I’m referring to the sword. Not going to lie I can’t see myself doing a lot without some backup ha-ha. NO Ra we can’t burn them also stop asking that!” _____Kaedé would speak to the other two of the group as she herself swung a miss at a Knoll but quickly corrected the error by back flipping out of his and two other attacks towards her. She herself was limited to fighting location of the road path, if she tried to fight in the grass she would no doubt catch the area on fire and that was not exactly her plan currently. But Ra, her spirit continued to shout at her about setting everything ablaze and watching it burn away to ashes. The spirit had some serious issues, but Kaedé slightly understood them, and sort of wanted to watch the area burn to be honest with herself. @Ueno Mizuki | @Zelrius
Mizuki sent Zelrius a glare when he, unfortunately correctly, guessed the right answer to his own question thanks to the rather awkward way that she herself had reacted to it. Well, maybe it wasn't guessing if he was using her response as the clue with which to find the real answer, but Mizuki still wasn't too happy about it. It wasn't that she was embarrassed about it, at least not exactly (not completely, although her cheeks were a bit redder than normal). It was more... she wasn't sure how exactly to explain it. It was more that it was a bit of an awkward situation: the only reason Zelrius even knew about it was about that spirit thing which Mizuki still wasn't completely comfortable with, and the night with Kaede had been more a spurt of the moment thing than something really planned out or anything. To be asked about it, to effectively be called out on doing exactly as Phanta had suggested they did, in what little time had passed between this moment and their last meaning, made Mizuki feel rather defensive, even if she didn't think they had necessarily done anything wrong. She just didn't want people to question her about it, or draw annoying conclusions. "I'd rather you didn't." It was the only thing she said, since she didn't want to elaborate. It was in contradiction to her previous answer, but since he pretty much knew the actual answer already her answer had to change as well. On one hand there was the uncomfortable idea that Kaede might just give an in-depth explanation, and while Mizuki didn't think there was anything really wrong or embarrassing about spending a night together... she still wasn't entirely comfortable with the idea of giving someone she didn't know that well a detailed explanation. It wasn't that she saw Zelrius as a complete stranger, and from her perspective he wasn't a bad person, reliable in a way although she would have to interact some more with him before she could feel completely justified in that opinion. However it wasn't like he was a very close friend, not yet, and even with close friends Mizuki wasn't sure if she'd share that kind of information unless maybe during a party, preferably if she had some alcohol to act as liquid courage (the fact that Mizuki wasn't one to attend many parties would also hinder that particular angle of approach). When Zelrius described Kaede as a knife-ear Mizuki shot him another look, this one more puzzled. Of course there was no way she would have missed that Kaede's new physical form was that of a Yladian rather than a human, which of course meant she had pointy ears instead of the round ones of a human. The term knife-ear, however... Mizuki wasn't quite that familiar with this world yet, but she didn't think that was a friendly term. It sounded similar to some terms you'd overhear when people were talking about other races, a term which essentially described someone by their appearance alone. It might not necessarily be negative, but... Mizuki wasn't sure whether to call the man out on it or to just assume that he was using a simple term, especially since the term Yladian could be somewhat troublesome to get used to. "Good." Was all she said in the end, but she still was going to keep an eye out. She'd pay a bit more attention to how people treated Yladian, and if it became clear that it was a derogatory term she'd have to make it clear to Zelrius that she would prefer it if he didn't use those to describe Kaede or other Yladians if she was present. For now she'd let it slide, since at this point she could only call it a weak suspicion. "Exactly. I have the Hunting Mastery and Kaede has the Rogue mastery. Although I doubt we'll need me to track down the knolls, seeing how open they are in occupying their territory," She indicated the knolls that were a bit further away, where the area would be considered Pormont rather than Brisshal. The knolls just bared their teeth at her. "At least it'll help me keep an eye out in case they try to use trickery against us. And maybe I can figure out where to hit them. And Kaede could do the trickery on our part, since she's quite good at stealth and surprise attacks." Ironically Mizuki still hadn't noticed Kaede, so her claims of Kaede being stealthy were being confirmed by her own inability to spot the woman. If Mizuki was aware of this she'd have been quite embarrassed. As she would be in a moment, as it turned out Kaede wasn't going to keep them waiting for much longer. Not even as long as it took for Mizuki to open her mouth to respond to Zelrius's question. The high-pitched sound of Kaede whistling did a good job of catching Mizuki's attention, as the Felis's sharp ears went straight up and she nearly jumped as the whistle ran through her ears. After the initial surprise she quickly looked around, in time to see Kaede clashing with some knolls who weren't happy about Kaede's appearance. It looked like Kaede was indeed a lot more familiar with her magic by now, as the redhead happily used fire in combination with her sword to fight the beasts, injuring one almost immediately and managing to avoid being harmed in retaliation. Not thinking this the best time to waste with talking Mizuki nodded and ran over to Kaede, beckoning for Zelrius to follow before she dropped to all four and dashed forward at high speed, the tall grass rustling around her as she used both hands and feet to quickly position herself behind one of the knolls that were trying to get their hands on Kaede. Why they were so aggressive towards her specifically Mizuki didn't know, although she guessed it was pure and simple because Kaede was the first of the group to actually intrude on their territory. Regardless of why, it gave Mizuki the opportunity to slam her studded knuckles into one of the knolls legs, and then when it dropped to its knees she rammed her fist against the beast once more, this time hitting the back of its head so it fell over motionlessly. It wasn't dead, but it wouldn't rise up any time soon and Mizuki wouldn't have much issue finishing the job. However right now she had higher priorities, as she did her best to help Kaede out before more knolls were attracted by the sounds of combat and they got into actual trouble. @Zelrius @Kaede Hoshi
