We won't leave people behind if we can help it, not here. Anything you can do to help, we'd appreciate.

But like Gwyn said, we have some things we need to do first. We have to get our things back, and there's someone we have to find. He's uh, as far as we know he was in one of the... torture rooms.

And, um... Would you know where any animals would be kept?

I'm sure Vulcan and Naixi are fine, they might not have even taken them. They're smart, they'd keep low and safe if they're free until you guys return for them. Or they're waiting outside staging a grand plot to rescue us all.

Spent some time figuring out the crystal. He seemed to be struggling quite a bit; occasionally wiping his brows as the sweat was breaking his concentration.

@Kyupin Felnya "I'm having issues with it, it seemed the new head mage reconfigured the crystal. Look, I can turn it off, but it may have another random effect. The magic circuit are all tangled up so I don't know, which one to cut. It will start a timer as soon as I start too, so I won't have enough time to figure it out.

When he heard Kyupin's comment, he immediately turned, as if to hide his exposed scar and assumed a rather defensive posture.

"That's what happens when you bad mouth the warden. It was a joke, but they threw me in here and treat me even worse than some of the prisoners. All of this only started because those fucking ring-eyed creeps came and took over the prison in the name of our king. Wait, did I say king? I mean overlord."

@Ashiore Evretto "Yes I do know where the animals are kept. It's not in this wing though. Getting to where they are is going to be a bit tricky."

If it’s too risky to do something about the magic runes, then I’m okay with leaving it as it is. I can work around it, it just takes a little getting used to. I think it’s better to leave things as they are now rather than risk triggering an alarm.

But, what do you mean, about those people with weird eyes? Do you know anything about that? Like where they came from, when they started showing up.

... I don't want to delay any more than needed, but Vulcan is... If there's any chance Vulcan could get hurt, I want to find him before it happens. And I fight better with him by my side. When they captured us, I could hear Vulcan, could hear him until suddenly I couldn't. I need to make sure he's okay.

We'll leave the crystals alone, then? It's good enough that there's no counting down. Let's just hurry. I don't like this place. The sooner we find everybody, the sooner we can get out. We can't risk doing anything without being sure.

And Ashiore? The arm still hurts, but I can fight through the pain now. You did so much for me. Thank you.

@Corvella who was standing in the hall was alerted by the bard who gave her a tap on the shoulder as he came up next to her. After informing her that he heard strange noises down the hall, the culprit quickly came up to them...
