41 HP MAX HP 50 EN MAX EN Slightly Broken Right Arm (Condition) Your right arm is usable but accompanied by a lot of pain. Magically Sapped (Debuff) Your magic mastery is halved. Though it pained her greatly, Kyupin shifted the loose rock into her right hand and held it with the most comfortable grip possible given her state, so that she could reach out to the imprisoned jester with her left hand. After everything he'd gone through, he'd still been kind enough to help them out. To give them some information. The least she could do was offer him some comfort in the form of her fingers gently patting the ones curled around the bars of the door. "Thank you," she said, offering a slight smile. "I'll be back as soon as I can, okay?" And that was that. She nodded to the others, knowing they would be able to handle the other prisoner... probably. Since they were all gathered at that corner, she'd have to do something else to be useful, wouldn't she? Drawing away from the cell, Kyupin trotted down the hallway, passing two empty cells, and peered into the darkness. It was hard to really make out any forms, but she hoped as she drew closer with her squinted gaze, she would be able to spot something. At the least, she would be able to call out a warning for the others. She shifted the rock back to her left hand. The ache in her right arm lingered, but it had been worth it to offer even a semblance of warmth to the man. Now... Now, Kyupin had no space left inside of her to be kind to their captors. She would crush their skulls with this rock if she had to. Action: After talking to the Imprisoned Jester and patting his hands, pass the empty cells (5 and 6) and keep an eye out for movement in the hallway (B).

Relief and elation at the door opening turned to whatever that emotion was where you could literally feel your heart drop in your chest. She watched the numbers tick down before quickly snapping to attention and heading out of the room. Not good. Really not good. She watched too many crime dramas. Was it a bomb? An alarm? As Gwyn rattled off the different effects of the crystals, she felt a funny mix of relief and dread. Okay, some of those effects weren't very bad, and it wasn't a bomb. But some of those effects sounded very not good, and it was possibly an alarm. Great. Kyupin and Corvella were out dealing with the prisoners in the occupied cells. While she didn't want to see them trapped, she did have to agree that it was probably safer for them to stay inside the cells. What kind of guard would bother with doing the whole time-consuming routine for prisoners safely locked up when there were four running loose throughout the prison? But it looked like they had come to a tentative agreement on what to do from their brief conversation. The man that Kyupin was talking to seemed to be all right. And he really didn't deserve to be jailed and tortured. An eye on her rapidly-depleting energy meter, Ashiore went over to his cell and said, "Here, let me try the lock. Just hold on." Once he was freed and Corvella said the man she was talking to was also good to be let out, then she went over there and did the same. If not? Well, his threat of screaming wasn't much. If one of the crystals was an alarm, they had less then five minutes until it went off anyway. Even if it wasn't, the guard didn't show up at the scheduled time so who cared if he yelled? Action: Try to pick the lock to let out the jester in Cell 2. If Corvella says that the man in Cell 4 is okay to be let out, also go over to that cell to let him out.

She signalled Ashiore, who had just opened the jester's cell to open cell number 4. She did feel bad having to rely on Ash to open everything, since she basically exerted all her energy for healing and growing vines. Hope that opening this cell is worth it, since those crystals triggering would be bad news. While waiting for cell 4 to be opened, Corvella stood guard in hallway C, walking down further into the hallway. She might see something in the dark if she go closer. Action: Guard the hallway C in investigation mode while cell 4 is being opened.
Gold Team Cycle 7 @Kyupin Felnya You conversation helped you learn the identity of the Jester and the prisoner in cell #4. Dialog. @Ashiore Evretto After Kyupin identified the jester, you succeeded in unlocking cell #2, which allowed this sequence to play out. Although the prisoner in cell #4, whom Wynston identified as Wiley remained visibly upset for a while, he eventually calm down. Wynston made sure the man was of a sound mind before he beckoned Ashiore over where she can pick the lock with her vine. After the cell was open, the man in nothing but a loincloth slowly stepped out, shuddering chill shot up from his foot to his core. Looking at the group of women, the man made sure to stay a good 4 feet away from them at all time, only speaking when needed. If anyone had caught a glimpse of the man's back, it was horribly disfigured with thick scar that indicated that he was no stranger to torture. If anyone had their investigation mode turned on, they would have made out four letters imprinted on his left shoulder blade, which spelled out: sach. It made no sense. When Corvella spoke to Wiley, he complied with an "alright" before he made cautious stride over to the room with the crystals. After spending sometime inspecting the clusterfuck of wire that Gwyn had made when she opened the door so violently, he quickly realigned them and made a gesture at each of the crystal from left to right. Once he was done, the crystals grew brighter before the timer stopped the countdown. Turning toward the group, Wiley said, "will this suffice? Also, h-how about a deal. You get me out of here safely and I can help with the escape by configuring these magic crystals. Afterwards, we never see each other again. Do we have a deal?" @Corvella You saw nothing of interest other than the UI alerting you that the door opposite from the guards' garrison was unlocked. 52 HP MAX HP 14 EN MAX EN Magically Sapped (Debuff) Your magic mastery is halved. With Wynston and Wiley both out of the cells, Ashiore just took a moment to breathe. Whatever those crystals were doing about the magical suppression in this area, it was really taking a lot out of her. Her hands were shaking slightly, thankfully not enough to really affect her casting. But along with her blinking energy meter, it was a very prominent reminder that she really needed to take a break soon. Wiley made quick work of the mess they left the crystals in and stopped the countdown, which helped to relieve a bit of the pressure on them. As a side effect, as he went to fix the crystals, Ash got a good glimpse of the mess of scar tissue on his back. Given the state of Kyupin’s arm--which reminded her, they really needed to get that treated. It was looking better, but it still wasn’t completely fixed. Something to splint it with would probably be necessary, but they didn’t really have much in the way of anything that wasn’t a sharp rock right now--and the inscription they found in the cell, Ash could make a pretty good guess of where he got those scars from. She averted her gaze and moved away to the side, not wanting to get in his way. Wiley’s offer seemed like an obvious one to take. If he was familiar with the prisons, then having his assistance would only be help their escape attempts. Even if he wasn’t, there was no way she was leaving anyone behind to be tortured if she could help it. And he knew where the animals were kept. Though she hoped that Gwyn was right, she had to at least make sure that their tames weren't being held captive too. There wasn’t much else to do for her, at least. She stayed to the side and tried to regain some energy. There was still a lot to do, and she needed to be ready when they really got going. Action: Rest to regain energy.
