Indra remained quiet for the most part ever since they managed to get away from the threat that — she — and some others were responsible for. If the guilt from almost being the one responsible for killing the entire entourage wasn’t enough, the actual fight against the bandits didn’t help much either. Using fewer words, Indraneel was moody. She struggled a bit before hopping off of the wagon on her own and landed on the abnormally clear and crystallized ground, prompting her to stare at it for a while. Even though she was in such a foul mood, her facial features remained the same.

With a monotone yet spiritually exasperated sigh, she made her way through the people of the entourage. She didn’t know many, and truth be told, she didn’t want to. In her eyes, nobody deserved dealing with someone on their bad moments. After getting to talk with one of the princess’ knights, Indra was tasked with exploring and mapping the region. Fair enough, a mental task that wouldn’t rely on her nonexistent mastery abilities was a breath of fresh hair. Indra checked all her equipment in a small backpack and wandered off on her own in search of a place where she’d have a good view of the area, perhaps on top of one of the crystallized trees.

“Annoyed. This does not feel right either. My previous weapon felt unwieldy, so by focusing on magic and smaller weapons, I thought I would have a better experience…” Her ahoge stood straight up as she found a tree that seemed to exist only for her. The trunk structure was oh so inviting, and climbing shouldn’t be too hard. “But it feels like I just switched from something unwieldy physically…” She continued to rant on her monotone voice as she struggled a bit to get up to the next bough, “...to something unwieldy magically.” Indra wriggled a bit on the bough until she found a comfy position, and began working on the map.

Thanks to the fairly high tree and the ease in climbing up, Indra now had a decent view of a large part of the area. “Annoyed, Mk II. At the very least I can be of use this way…” Using a wooden tablet as support on her lap, she unloaded quill, ink and parchment and began working on mapping the area. Her scribbling was precise, and because of her past in reality, had a very clean look. She still tried her best to keep it understandable to the people of this world. Accuracy was key, and the blonde was sure she’d make use of this sometime later.

Only when up there she realized how the sky seemed to be dotted by many more stars than her previous reality. “Pleased. This is a good place to work on this…” Her eyes returned to the parchment as she resumed her mapping.

Lucia spent her time going from person to person who was wounded with a wry smile. Offering what healing she could with Light Blight, her illumancy wasn't exactly as dazzling or spectacular as her Necromancy, with her plans to finally complete her armies, she knew that wouldn't change any time soon. She still didn't want to go out and adventure uselessly though. They were here to preserve and conserve fighting force after all, spreading out only added to the risks; she wanted to at least not wander off herself knowing that things would only get tougher as time passed.

Unfortunately her long cool downs and casting times made it a little hard for her to associate with others. A lonely sigh came from her as she turned her gaze down towards the few resting with a kind smile. Aiming to offer healing or replenishment for those who were lacking while she could. She could simply drain back what she needed on the road, but these poor people weren't as fortunate as her in that respect, that she knew.

The cold, fresh air was a welcoming treatment for Quinn as soon as they entered the country of glass. Although he had only wanted to drive the wagon for an hour or so, when he seized the reign from the driver earlier, he might have accidentally pushed him off the wagon, which was evident by his wagon having one less person. He figured they could pick up the man on the way back, if the bandits haven't gotten to him already. But like they said, you should focus on the past.

And so, Quinn became the wagon driver.

When the Princess stopped the entourage and had them set up camp, Quinn let out a breath of relief. As soon as his feet touched the smooth texture that covered nearly every inch of the bizarre environment, his lower back creaked dangerously as pain invaded his thought.

    Later that night...

Quinn bumped into @Indra when he was heading back to camp just as she was continuing to make her map. On his shoulder was a rectangular-shaped block, which has been wrapped in some kind of cloth. Greeting the girl with his signature pointer and middle finger on the forehead salute, he spoke,

"Yo, are you heading out right now? I just came back from my painting practice session. Welp, see-ya later!"

If she had intended on asking him about the mysterious item on his shoulder, he would have ignore her and head back to camp, unless she tagged along.

Indra’s ahoge stood straight up as she heard a rather familiar voice. Her cold blue eyes stared down on a figure she could probably tell miles of distance away at this point — of course, it was @Quinn. Indra was almost done with her map, and she returned to scribble a bit on it as he asked her whether she’d be returning to the camp or not. Indra remained quiet on purpose so she would give no answer. After all, she had plenty of experience with his antics and this one seemed no different, but… She couldn’t help it. Curiosity was part of her nature.

“Curious. What is that?” She watched as the green-haired lad went on his way after giving his characteristic salute. Her huge ahoge oscillated, slowly. That sounded fishy, perhaps a bit too fishy. Indra finished her own, and quickly packed her things up before descending carefully. She didn’t want any bruises or crystal infection here.

“Suspicious. I hope you are not doing anything that will make me regret my curiosity, hedgehog.” With a simple jog, she managed to catch up to him, and walked by his side back to the camp.

    [l=Location:]Camp[/l]
“Excited. I wonder if the princess will find my map useful. I put my utmost care in it.” She commented as they were finally getting closer to the camp. Indra’s eyes scanned the area in search of a particular figure that had a hairstyle a bit too similar to her own. Standing like a sore thumb among the NPCS — even after battle — it didn’t take Indra too long to find the princess. She approached the fellow blonde and almost bowed out of habit. “Apologetic. Forgive me if I’m interrupting anything, princess (@Raid Master), but I have something that could be useful for the entourage.” She presented the parchment with the map contents in it. “If needed, please make good use of it.”

In case Quinn followed her, Indra would turn to look at the green-haired man. She glanced at the object covered in cloth, and then squinted at him. With cheeks slightly puffed and a oscillating ahoge on top of her head, Indra made it clear that she knew he was planning to do something.

The night was getting colder, yet he could not feel it considering that his shoulder was completely numb from carrying the large rectangular object around. The moment he reached camp, Quinn immidiately detected an incredible aroma in the air. He let his nasal intuition guide him and he eventually ended up in front of @Blithe Bombón 's cooking station.

Seeing her put out some awesome food in front of him, Quinn threw the large object onto the ground.

    "Hi" he said.

Then, Quinn grabbed a bowl of whatever it was and slurped it all down in a single gulp. He had no idea what the girl made made because she never described it in her post, but Quinn's eyes grew wider as the aggressive flavor assaulted his taste. Deep within his core, Quinn could feel an incredibly heat beginning to spread throughout his body until the energy could no longer be contained and it nearly blew the clothes off his body.

The man had no idea what had happened to him in those few seconds as he sat the bowl on the table. However, he quickly regained his composure and cleared his throat.

"Thanks, bye," he said, waking away from Blithe's station with limbs that refused to stop quivering as he carried the object again.

    Even later that night...

Quinn had come to have a chat with the Princess, but it seemed that @Indra had already gotten her attention. He let her finish speaking with the Princess first before he went, discussing something with D'vangelline in a hushed tone.

It was only afterwards that he came back to Indra who was visibly frustrated with him keeping information from her. Wiggling his pointer finger, gesturing the girl to come closer, Quinn leaned over and whispered into her ear.

"Don't tell anyone, but I am actually investing in precious metal. I found this awesome lump of strange crystal and am trying to get people to invest in it, because it's going to be the hottest piece of rock anyone's ever going to see. The market is terribly inflated, you see. Do you want to invest in my endeavor?"

The ginger knelt before the voluptuous felin, his hands were on his head due to the searing hot pain on his head. The palm of his hand could sense a lump on his head. Anabelle paid no mind to the actions of her patient, as she saw that the ailments he was asking her to heal were already gone. She did mention to him that there was a price to pay in her healing, he should have prepared himself for this.

Immediately thereafter, she heard an exclamation enveloped with surprise as if the person whose lips elicited such a word witnessed everything. Shifting her heterochromatic eyes from the suffering stranger to where her ears told her as the source of the one-word exclamation, the blonde's visuals caught a tall azure-haired woman. Without any odd protrusions or animal-like physiology, Anabelle thought she might be a Human. From her eyes, she saw bewilderment from the female stranger before her.

Anabelle tilted her head, allowing her lips to form a frown. "Anything that matter, miss?"

Elmyra had spent pretty much half the whole day tinkering with her kit in order to make these formulas work, and once she had finally finished finding the right mixture for everything she looked up…and found that it was already night time.

    “Figures.”

Despite the realization that she probably had wasted a whole day in her life trying to make something probably rather simple works, Elmyra shrugged and decided to haul her batch of potions she spent a whole day making to the reserves. It was her whole day’s work, and if she had to waste her whole day doing something, might as well make it meaningful instead of meaningless, right?

Fortunately, even with all the several degrees burned people, multiple bite wounds, and even an arm who had almost fallen out of its socket, there hadn’t been a casualty so far. It’s a wonder too, what’s with the luck of the whole convoy of caravans when it comes to avoiding danger. One might wonder how they plan to rescue someone after…well, after everything. It might seem that it’d be a miracle to keep the convoy in one piece after everything that happened…but somehow their combined backwards luck is still keeping it all trucking. Go figure.

With a sigh, Elmyra grabbed one of the water containers situated besides the campfire, absent-mindedly observing how the ones that stayed behind in the camp’s behaving. It’s remarkably upbeat too, considering everything that has been going on…what’s with the loud singing, flirting, and clothes exploding. It was almost too much for her psyche, logging in the game for this long. Even if tomorrow’s the weekend.

Elmyra sighed once again before stuffing her mouth full of fresh water. She briefly considered logging off for a bit considering there’s a downtime…but that’s what made it so suspicious, right? It’s like the calm before the storm.

For now, she had decided to soak up the camp’s atmosphere. Even with all the commotions going on, it all can be strangely relaxing, and even if it’s all just virtual atmosphere it can substitute for the real one just fine.

Blithe was happier than a giggly little kid in a candy store. After eating her own portion of her food, she skipped on back over to her area to hand out the rest, watching the temperature of the food as she stirred the pot carefully, other hand folded behind her back. That was when people started to approach her for food, receiving different but absolutely delightful reactions from each of them, including multiple cute boys that she couldn't help but flirt with- Just a little.

First was a tall blonde man, who had offered money for her food. She had just giggled, told him that being cute was enough for her, and shooed him on his way. Hmm... Maybe she would try to talk to him later. She was a little curious about the money thing, if she wanted to tell the truth. Did her food really taste that great?

And then there was also @Quinn, whom had been in her wagon during the battle and who she liked to refer to as 'Carrot Cutie'. He came trouncing right up to her, earning her immediate attention and she looked over and blinked curiously at him, lips splitting into a grin, "Salut~" she replied in her usual Frenchie way, though the game may have translated that for him to understand.... Anyways, as she watched the boy slurp down her food, something amazing happened.

It was almost as if the energy from her food had been almost too much for him, as he... Well, she could hardly even describe what was happening. She actually ended up covering her face just to give him, well, privacy. However, she'd be lying if she didn't say she peaked out at him a couple of times.

And then, as fast as it had happened, it was over. Blithe blinked a couple times in confusion, before letting out a cheery laugh, waving at him as he walked away, "No problem, Carrot Cutie! C'est un plaisir!~" For guys like him, it definitely was.

After a while and a few more food reactions, Blithe tidied up her cooking station before heading over to the fire. She was getting rather sleepy... But it wasn't time to sleep yet. She needed to do something to lift everyone mood, to make them all happy and peppy for the coming days. So, moving over to the fire place, she paused for a quick second before transitioning into song and dance, something cheery and light, just like her, but not peppy enough to cause a riot- Just enough to make people happy.

She watched in awe as all of that happened before her eyes. So that was how the skill/spell system worked in this game. It seemed so cool to be able to spell all those incantations to create such magnificent effects, it almost made her feel bad for going all melee. Maybe some type of magic would go well. But what is done, is done. She would eventually figure a way to create her own set of cool moves to be cool, but everything at its time. Right now, all she needed to do was to relax. The soldier was being treated, and she really was tired to treating him. Just sit on a log, and let your problems run out of your mind. Except that, you got to pay attention where you are walking when you are yawning.

Or else you might end up like Blake here, who stumbled on a rock and got a branch digging deep into her left leg. Ouch. She winced in pain for a bit, before considering what to do. She could go and ask @Vina Skysong for help, but she was already busy and probably tired too. And she still had bandages, so she wrapped'em around the wound and jumped around for a bit. It still hurt, but nothing really compared to what that soldier had to went through. So it was fine! After doing that, she went towards Vina again, kneeling before her. "So, is he going to be okay?"

    D'vangelline de Falder

The Princess stayed in the best looking tent in the center of the camp, in a well-lit and well-guarded place. No assassin was going to be able to waltz into her tent and off her. Despite the security of her lodging, D'vangelline sorely lacked comfort as she sluggishly removed her armor and sat down at the edge of her bear-fur bedding.

Although she was about to burrow herself in the pile of warm fur and never wake up again, a guard's voice made her stop. He was alerting her that an adventurer sought permission to enter. Having lived a in a game of thrones, D'vangelline quickly retrieved a knife and tucked it into the opening of her silky shorts, just in case...

    "Yes? You may enter."

@Moonbunny 's offer to mother her was quite something. That cannot do! D'vangelline was a grown woman with heavy burden on her shoulders, why on earth would she agree to be doted on by anyone other than her mother? In fact, she would decline maternal love, given that she had hardened her heart to prepare for the war to come. Yet, the moment the teeth of the comb sunk into her sun-colored hair, it was over. D'vangelline melted into a puddle as the girl brushed her hair. Every time the comb glided against her scalp, the Princess straightened her legs and curled her toes. It felt too comforting that she almost doze off while the girl worked her hair.

When she snapped awake, Moonbunny was half way through rebraiding her hair, when D'vangelline grabbed her wrist, to stop her.

"Ah! Thank you, it has been a long time since anyone had provided me with such a wonderful brushing, but I must not trouble you anymore. I had lost my dignity as a warrior there for a second.. ahem...

You can leave my hair unbraided as is. I will be sleeping now. You should try to catch some shut eyes too, we are leaving very early tomorrow.

I am not familiar with these tasks though, if you would like, I can get my maids to return the favor another time!"

    Cycle 5: The Departure

    [ 0 5 : 4 5 ]

It was still dusk when the sound of a horn resounded throughout the camp, serving as a rude wake-up call to everyone who was sleeping. The early morning air was chillier than usual, given that all of the campfires have gone out overnight. As people began stirring awake from their slumber, morning discontent could be heard throughout the camp. The noise, however, was more distinctive than usual since there is no sound in the Crystallized Zalra, to remind them that they were in a very different world.

    img
    D'vangelline de Falder
The Princess was one of the first people to be awake and completely armored, indicating that she had woken up at least an hour before everyone else and spent that time getting her hair braided and her armor donned. When she walked about the bustling camp, she had the demeanor of someone who had had at least 3 shots of espressos, something that one could have mistaken for a heroic feat.

"Let's go everyone, chop-chop, we need to set out as soon as we are able, pack your tent, equipment, and provision. Brush your teeth or drink something warm to get your blood going, but do it within the next 30 minutes or the entourage is going to leave you behind."

After she made her round, she reached into her pouch and pulled out a map she received from @Indra the night before.

"Hee...? This is a really good map of this area. That kind of cartography skill is rare to come by these days."

Looking at the map, D'vangelline was thinking about purchasing maps from adventurers. The Crystallized Zalra was an intimidating place, but if the adventurers went out of their way to collect information about the land, geography, and the beast that inhabit this place, it could really expand Falderen's knowledge of the world.

    [ 0 6 : 0 0 ]

Once the entourage was getting closer to departing, four of D'vangelline's most-trusted riders and officers spread out and began to explain the next part of the plan to the entourage, making sure they know exactly what was about to happen for the rest of the journey. Most recited the same info with minor differences,

"There are five wagons so you lot are going to have to divide into smaller groups among yourselves. Assemble a team of 8 and get to know your teammate real well, because when we get to the mountain in about 2 days, each of these smaller squads are going to be attempting to take control of a region.

The scout informed us that he doesn't know the exact location of the prison, so we're going to have to split our team and just take over the entire goddamn mountain so King Theo will not use it as a base to launch his retaliation down the line. We don't need to capture every single region, but if we can't manage to seize at least half of it, we're going to have to retreat and let your King and his troop to fend for themselves. Got all of that?"

  13. Quinn groaned as he tossed and turned on his bedding, the contrast of the hard and cold floor against his soft and warm skin made sleep unenjoyable. When he heard one of the Princess’ people run through the camp tooting the awful duck noise, Quinn quickly opened his eyes and groggily looked around him, making sure he still had five fingers and his rectangular baby. Seeing nothing has changed from before he went to sleep elicited a breath of relief from him. Knowing that he needed to get going for the day, Quinn slowly inched himself out from his sleeping confinement, which happened to be underneath somebody’s bed. Once he had removed himself, he extended his arms upward and gave himself a good stretch or two.

When he looked over at the owner of the tent, he met the gaze of a naked woman next to a similarly naked man. Thanks to the bedsheet being pulled up over her chest, Quinn avoided what could have been a super awkward situation. The woman was caught between sheer terror and genuine surprise, which Quinn returned with his own rendition.

“W-what? Who are you and what are you doing here? This wasn’t the tent I was supposed to sneak into!”

A shriek could be heard as Quinn dashed out of the tent with a barrage of boots, chair, and soap heading his way. It was so unexpected that he almost left his item behind. What! Quinn thought to himself. Has he made an error in entering the wrong tent? What happened that has led to this? However, it just occurred to him that after he finished speaking to the Princess the night before, someone offered him a potent pumpkin cider that practically incapacitate him, considering how much of a lightweight he was. In his drunken state, he tried to find Indra’s tent and ended up sneaking into the wrong tent. This is why he tries his best effort not to drink, who knows what a drunken Quinn is capable of with his awesome skills and ingenuity; that was something he feared.

After he had cut through the bustling campsite, he arrived at @Indra ‘s tent, where he was supposed to sleep in last night before the pumpkin cider. “Yo, are you ready to head out?” the green-headed man asked as he barged inside. “We were supposed to pack up and get into a team or something, according to one of the officers,” Quinn spoke, setting down the heavy object with a heave. He had no qualm about having a conversation with his longtime companion, who he assumed was awake by the time he intruded on her.

  14. Having already been with @Verity, Solaria found it only natural to take charge enough to round up some people she knew for their descent the next round. "Verity, you'll come with me won't you? I think we'll make a great team to fight off attackers...And I can heal you if you get hurt, so it's got a bonus."

Smiling, the (clearly biased) nurse looked around the campsite. Who else would be good to have in their party? From not far away, she recognized a friend, waving to him. "Alric! @Alric Stalwart! Why don't you join us? The more the merrier, right? We should be fine in a group, don't you think?"

Her grin then turned in the direction of someone she didn't know- a man, not too tall yet not short, with black hair, red eyes and an unusually stoic look on his face. Running over to @Kijin Shihaku only to leave Verity for a moment, the Yladian held a bubbly smile.

"Say, are you in a group yet? Why don't you join us?" She noticed a cat of some sort not far away, too, calling out to @Blake Elgis just for a moment to offer a place on their team. "You too! Miss kitty with the fluffy tail! Why don't you join in?" She wanted to take anyone that seemed like they might need a friend or some help- and, to be honest, just felt like asking any random person that might need a spot to sit.

[OOC: I know Blake isn't on Blue team, I just wanted to tag and say hi to her once xD]

  15. From where he sat watching the proceedings, the swordsman rested a black sheath against his shoulder and inner thigh. Tensions were high, evinced by the flight of a ruffian from one of the many tents. Kijin barely contained a mirthless snort as the unfortunate soul was flanked by assorted clothes, toiletries, and the distinct odor of alcohol.

"Hardly what one would expect from a military encampment," he mused quietly. He watched the odd drunkard fumble dangerously close to the campfire, but ultimately manage to find his destination.

He would have thought to applaud the display, until his attention was drawn to a lively voice. She was overall taller than he, though not by much. Her green hair and outgoing personality seemed to demand his attention, and with a sigh, Kijin complied.

"I don't," he answered honestly. "And I need one to continue moving forward here, so I accept your invitation."

He clenched a fist around the sheath and stood up. Normally, he would have asked questions or made some protests, but this situation called for decisive action.

They would have to adapt along the way.

His black clothes swept across the dirt as he walked with @Solaria back toward where she amassed her companions, swaying with every step. Kijin eyed @Verity first, then @Alric Stalwart in turn. He gave a slight bow then introduced himself.

"Kijin," he drawled informally. "And you all are?"
