Immediately after making their selection on the menu. The party would find themselves transported to another location. This place like Trinity Center in general, was entirely unlike anything that could be found in Terrasphere. A plane of existence that seemed to only exist for battle and testing ones abilities. The floor was incredibly hard and yet somewhat transparent. All around one could see stars twinkling in a dark sky that expanded endlessly around the arena platform. The digital like lines and glitchy spots were the first true sign that this was, no matter how realistic... just the inner workings of a game. The mascot has taken you here for the practice.

"Welcome to the gym! I'm so happy to see you want to practice with me! Kay then, I will use Rank F values for this fight cool? Cool! Let's have fun!"

Her body began to swivel a little which in turn led to a swaying motion. Almost as if there was music only Trinity could hear. Her body glowed a gentle blue as her hair began to blow outward almost like wings. A playful smile plastered on her beaming mascot face.

    "Iiiiiiit's game time!"

    Trinity smiles and does nothing.

Teal neon lights, power ley lines, and bright flashes from an arena dome that seemed to float in an endless expanse of dark space. The only place in Terrasphere aside from the Character Creation area that didn’t emulate a medieval Fantasy world. Here, the Justicar stood along with three players joined in a single party. One was her “BFF” Alphabet, the only reason why she bothered to be here. Then there was Cain, the midnight-haired Muse that somehow kept involved in mutual affairs. Finally, a female brawler named Seigi, a stranger to the Justicar or if they had met before, Eldhi didn’t recognize her.

Their “enemy” or more precisely, sentient training dummy, for the day... night... whatever time it was, was none other than Mascot Girl Trinity herself. She was the one who first advertised Terrasphere to Eldhi and to think she’d face her in combat, even if it was a mock battle, Eldhi would give it all she’s got. ”Mascot Girl Trinity.” Eldhi brandished her azure longsword, golden light enveloping the crystalline edge. ”Come! Face me!!”

This blue, digital stage. This wonderfully futuristic opponent. These great allies, old and new. From Eldhi, Justicar of Blood-Stained Ashes, to Seigi, The Sunrise Sage, to Alphabet Chocolate, the Triplet-Bearing Ninja, there was not a single shred of doubt within Cain that they could show Trinity, the holy goddess of Terrasphere’s life-code, that they should be going up against her Rank D Power Level, perhaps even her Rank C. No, with Alphabet’s bottomless strength, even Rank B may not be a far-fetched dream.

Matching the twin tailed idol’s smile with his own confident battle-smirk, Cain flicked his right hand to the side while his left dipped the brim of his hat downwards. From the ether, his flag materialized, shimmering into his outstretched hands as magical power flowed through his veins. Ba-dump ba-dump. The world sharpened around him, senses driven to over drive by virtual brain chemicals, clocking his brain to overdrive as the flagpole spun around him, a white banner streaming behind it as amethyst ripples burst out from each swing.

Arcane lightning coursed through the valkyries’ bodies as Cain’s voice thundered through the battlefield, lightning beats coursing onto this grand battlefield as he drowned himself in the war hymn from another world. Start off fast. Start off strong!

    • Alpha grinned, looking around to see familiar faces around her. She was so pumped up and she couldn't resist waving her dagger around, greeting everyone. "Sherdock! Arine! Eldhi!" Alpha shouted through the alternate dimension they had found themselves in. "Nice to see you guys again!" she laughed before she readied her dagger. Trinity or not, a battle was a battle and she wouldn't hesitate to cut through her acquaintance for the purpose of a friendly spar. She reminded herself that she didn't need to worry much; Trinity was just an NPC, after all. She could be revived if Alpha truly wanted, so no worries there!

She gave a grateful nod over at Cain as the man began his chanting. Energy and vigor began to flow through Alpha's very veins and, as she charged to slash at Trinity, she could feel that her swoops were heavier than before. "No one can fight the Alphabet Chocolate hype train!" Alpha grinned as she repeatedly tried to stab into Trinity. "Choo choo! Woot woot!"

"This looks awfully similar to where papa works." Were the first words the hero girl mumbled as she got transferred from a generic fantasy world into a rather futuristic looking... arena. This was about to be her first 'real-but-not-real'-battle kind of thing!

Sure, beating up trash monsters in the area was one thing but this Trinity Person was something like a Raid Boss, no?! Even if it was just a sparring fight. Upon seeing her allies, with two being people she already knew, her face turned a little red. It was all just acting. Still, apparently, they weren't aware of her name and there was this new person anyways. Not to mention that Trinity was a new person, too!

"Seigi Ling Ling is the name and beating up villains is my game!" That sounded super cool, right? Right! With that out of the way the battle was already about to begin.

"W-Woah..." Not even a moment in and the mans song seemed to mesmerize the girl. This was awesome! "I won't hold back even if it's just a spar!" With that said Seigi roared towards Trinity and tried to land a rather simple punch.

Sure, the young heroine might be the technically the weakest out of all of them but clearly she was willing to put enough "WITH GUTS AND EFFORT!" in to make more than up for it.

The party begins the fight in earnest! Even at this level... woot! This group is certainly not in need of any training like this were they? As Alphabet strikes Trinity who barely even attempts to evade the attack, white sparkling energy sprays into the air instead of what should be blood. The cut in Trinity glows white as she almost does a kawaii moonwalk away from Alphabet and receives the remaining attacks while moving. The cuts and bruises vanish as Trinity fist pumps!

"Yay! You guys are great! My turn! My turn!"

The Mascot runs straight up to Eldhi, sparkling energy trailing behind her hand, and backhands her in the face!

"Total awesome-sauce using taunt effectively! Nice one Officer!"

    • "You go, Eldhi!" Alpha shouted as the knight took the brunt of Trinity's slap attack. She ran over from her spot to give Eldhi a pat on the back before she returned her focus back to their common blue-haired enemy. She raised her arm up and gave a thumbs-up before twisting her hand sideways and slowly moved it across her throat in a slitting motion. Eagerness burned behind her blue eyes and it completely contradicted the sinister appearance she had attempted to portray herself as. "I am the Dark Lord Alphabet Chocolate," Alpha squeaked. "Prepare yourself!"

With a giggle, Alpha launched herself back into the fray with her dagger pulled up to her chest and ready to stab into the digital mascot.

From the get go, it was crystal clear that this wasn’t going to be a mess of a fight at all. Unlike the attack on Honeyhome, everyone moved in concert, Eldhi’s quick taunt enabling both Seigi and Alphabet to unleash their strongest attacks without concern for a counterstrike. A combination of fists and steel gouged thick chunks of health from Terrasphere’s mascot, spraying pixelated fairy dust instead of blood, and the midnight-haired muse couldn’t help but marvel a bit at how casual Trinity received the pain. Was she basically a ghost of the matrix, incapable of flinching? Was her power level so high that even taking more than three hundred damage in a single moment hardly caused anything but a reaction akin to ‘how cute’?

Oh, that just made him even more excited to face down her Rank A incarnation! Picking up the pace, Cain continued to channel his battle song, maintaining the body-strengthening effects of <<Trinity Resonance>> as a second visual effect burst upon their bodies, a soft silver radiance emanating from their skin. More power flowed. More energy drifted through the air. More damage for the damage god, more victories for the victory throne!

“Press this advantage!” Cain cried out, thrusting his flag triumphantly into the air, “Rip and tear until it’s done! This alone is nothing but a small stepping stone towards our glorioussssss conquest of the Center of the Godly Three In One!”

He thrust his flagpole downwards like a lightning strike, the resulting impact sounding like a thundercrack.

    “Onwards ho!”

The Justicar could feel strength flowing through her and it wasn’t from her own light, nay, it was the courages voice of the midnight-haired Muse.”Heh... much appreciated.” Though the Muse and Justicar’s relationships might have grown tenser ever since their meeting in Druuk Island, the former catching her red-handed using the Demon Rose to open a warp gate, almost jeopardizing Vermillion’s secrecy. They somehow still held mutual respect to one another, Cain’s skills at using his magical voice were certainly welcome and he treated her like a proper ally, she shall return the honor.

With Alphabet’s swift daggers and Seigi’s gutsy punches, the Kunoichi and Hero of Justice were striking the teal-haired Mascot Girl, drawing literal pixels from her holographic form. As long as Eldhi could keep Trinity’s attention to her and her alone, they shall do their part. The battle was clearly a mock one, no suspension of disbelief could say otherwise, no matter how firm, as Trinity didn’t even flinch from the constant barrage of daggers and fists, treating all this like what it was, a game set in virtual reality.

”Ouch...” Eldhi muttered in a rather deadpan manner as the twintailed girl literally slapped her, drawing pixels and stars from the impact, taking away part of her HP Bar. Chuckling once, Eldhi returned in kind by slashing her azure sword at the Mascot, strength imbued by Cain’s voice.

Not only was the arena all futuristic even the particles and all had a game-y glow to them! That was awesome in its own right and a welcome exchange to the bloody realism.

Even so, that slap looked like it hurt. "Are you okay?!" She asked Eldhi concerned. "Just a bit longer!" Hopefully, Trinity wouldn't decide to attack the young hero girl while she was going full offensive. About to keep pressing on Seigi couldn't believe her own ears as she heard Alphabet calling herself a Dark Lord though! Was this what betrayal felt like?!

For some reason, even if Seigi was excited, she couldn't hype herself as she used to. Maybe it was because Trinity wasn't an evil villain? Luckily for her, though, Cain was inspiring enough. "Rip and tear!" She simply cried out as she did what she could only do: Punching really hard.

"Oh wow, noice! My HP is definitely not lasting this assault! You guys are the bestest! This isn't your first fight is it? Hahaha! Epic!"

Trinity was glowing like crazy from the wounds but they quickly vanished as she spoke to the party looking more excited for their runaway success here than her own bodily harm. She looked at Seigi and smiled with a wave.

"You know, you are using a lot of reckless attacks and it isn't a smart strategy for a beginner! You leave yourself open! Watch now kay? Not good for you!"

Trinity outstretched her arms out to her sides and lifted off of the ground slightly. Words of a language that was almost like code flying around her body as she closed her eyes. Then she quickly sweeped her arms in front of her until they crossed and a transparent seal materialized before quickly fading just as her toes returned to the floor. Suddenly the area Seigi was in burst into flame, before the flame then vanished as sudden as it appeared....

"Mr. White! You're up awesome guy!"

Trinity said with her fingers in a V towards Cain.

And here's Alphabet Chocolate and her three trusty sidekicks: the awesome knight of justice, Eldhi! The guy who's pregnant with Sherdock's child, Arine! And the blonde-haired winner of my affections a la stage improvisation: the great detective herself! Voila!" she cheered, gliding down to welcome Eldhi with a big hug at their accomplishment. Hopefully nothing else would happen. Knowing Terrasphere, she was half sure the battle was over and half wary that something out of the ordinary would happen.

As Trinity's HP meter hit zero and her bar vanished immediately refilling again. She clapped her hands merrily as she jumped up and down with her legs bending behind her in a over exaggerated manner.

"Very good! Go team! Welp, this was nothing for you guys huh? Alrighty, you guys get props for victory and a gift from me, Trinity, your mascot! Are you feeling excited?!"

The mascot continued to applaud and speak as if she was going through a pre-programmed instance. The party would see a mysterious point appear in the corner of their UI. In Alphabet's case it added to one that was already there that she may have missed before. Trinity said nothing about what these were. Then a loot message popped up.

"I'm fine." The Justicar answered simply to the blonde with hyperactivity rivaling Alphabet herself, two of them now, both taking the damage-dealer role, no surprises really. "It's my duty to defend my comrades." Besides, the slap didn't even hurt, Trinity was obviously in her 'training mode' and Rank F to boot, they had nothing to worry. Still, the concern was appreciated, the thankless stereotypes of Tanks and Supports didn't go unnoticed by the Justicar so her teammates were decent people, good.

As the attacks against the turquoise-haired Mascot continued, daggers, fists, and longsword, Trinity decided to give a little 'warning' to Seigi. Having a Tank in the party didn't mean the enemy would always focus on them or that taunts always worked. If there was a moment she must learn that, it'd be now with no dangers of death. Thus, Eldhi wasn't too concerned when the Mascot unleashed a colorful, flashy blast of arcane fire, taking a good half of Seigi's HP bar.

"Are you alright?" The knight inquired, a barely noticeable sly smirk curled on her lips. Cain would heal her just fine. Well, scratch that, just as Eldhi was about to returned Trinity's attention to herself, Alphabet - in her Alphabety fashion - unleashed the final flurry of attacks on the 'mock boss'. As Trinity's HP dropped down to 0 and the arena flashed, signaling the round's conclusion, Eldhi simply huffed then sheathed her azure sword.

She tapped the popped UI, receiving the unique item. A tag huh? Perhaps it could be useful someday.

Right, Alpha, what was that about Sherdock and Arine, also pregnant? The Justicar shrugged it off as the usual 'ABC' stuff, remaining rather rigid and with a flat deadpan look on her tanned features as the Kunoichi draped herself all over her. "Nnn..." A small half-annoyed growl vibrated from her throat as she knew removing the clingy shorter girl would be quite hard, going by previous experiences.

With Alphabet still clinging onto her, Eldhi turned towards the Muse Cain and Heroine Seigi, "Well, it's been an honor working with you all." She gave a slight knightly bow, rather awkward due to the brown-haired 'weight' plastered on her. "We should go now. May fortune favor us all."
