  1. The party menu opened once they each agreed to join, showing her some very basic information- namely their health stats and their names. A small smile caught her lips as she saw them listening to her whims, her hand raising itself because of how she'd grown accustomed to the spell she was about to use. "The spell I'm going to use now will imbue each of our weapons with holy magic, or rather, Illumancy. You both likely have a skill like this for your respective magic sets, or at least will be able to in time. I personally love using it."

With a deep breath, she focused on her hand, her own sword held out so that it could take in the magic as well. "May fate take wing upon your blade."

The gentle light moved from her hand into three streams, adding a soft glow to both swords and the bow before her. "Now that we all have some light in our weapons, we'll do extra damage when we attack. I can also add some poison if you want, but I don't really make or keep a whole lot of it...I prefer making medicine."

With a soft smile, she began to look for a small monster, seeing a boar not far down the road. Turning to @Gally Tresha and @Vivian Cruz with curious eyes, she mused, "How about one of you use this opportunity to try a general attack? The boar doesn't look too strong, and Gally can take it's meat for cooking later."[/b1]

  2. Gally took back her bow eyeing the boar down the field. She had not gotten used to killing, she had never killed in real life. She raised her bow to eye level and pulled back the string, the light energy weaving it's way into it. She had played plenty of virtual reality games, but this game was different, it was so realistic it was hard not to see the creature as really being there. "It's just a bunch of code you can do this." She said with a renewed sense of determination. With a deep breath she released the arrow the streams of light energy cascading off the tip like streamers in the wind. With a large squeal the creature fell over. Gally breathed a sigh of relief and of sadness. This was going to be harder than she thought. The boar's body slowly dissolved into blue triangles that soon disappeared into the air. A window appeared with a very generic piece of meat looking icon it had a x2 next to it with a loot and decline button. Gally pressed the loot button and turned to her new friend.

  3. Vivian gave a look when the light of her words formed around the naked silver of her blade. A flash of light tangled its way to the blade as it pulsated with a sort of goodness and right. Vivian stretched her hand out as if the Blade had been tainted, giving a rather dry look to it.

"White magic..." she said mostly to herself. However the white haired archer girl seemed to not mind it one bit as it would help with adding a bit of umph! to the attack and damage. Vivian would simply watch as the player drew back the string and shot the enchanted arrow at the boar. With a small squeal it fell over on its side and pixelated into nothingness.

With a somewhat morbid tone, "I wonder if player's themselves fall over like that when they die as well." A glint in that eye of hers as she smiled with that wicked grin. Of course she would not test the theory out herself, but making the joke was enough to rattle their cages.

Vivian was once again looking at the cold light of her blade, that Illuminancy Magic trailing up and down the width of her steel. She sighed, "So, basic magic like that can be focused onto a weapon like a bow or a sword, right? Any magic?" Vivian's question was rhetorical. Pulling from her menu, she analyzed some of the spells she had yet to use because they were dependent on other situations such as she was in now.

With a low chanting came from her hushed voice. Her hand over the blade she carried as the dark energies of Malefimancy came forth. A pool of darkness seemed to resonate with her blade. Fading was the light as the purple hue took over giving the weapon a menacing touch.

"Seems so," in reply to her question. With a small smile, her red lips parted as she waved the blade around a few times. The festering darkness pulsated with life as if an almost eerie screech could be heard from the voice of the blade. "I think it's my turn to kill something."

  4. A slight surprise on her face that the mixture of magic and slash had been able to so abruptly disrupt the usually faulty appeal of 'trash' weapons (which, to be honest, she still hated the name of). To her, any weapon to start with was a good one- at least, for the sake of being able to defend yourself in the early stages. But, then again, she tended to rush into battle without thinking of what was in her hand. Most people had more smarts in that department.

Clapping as she saw the boar go down in little time, all at the hands of a beginner's bow, Solaria put her sword away as quickly as she'd drawn it. With a gleaming smile, she glanced to @Gally Tresha. "Well done, Gally!" She turned to @Vivian Cruz not long after, having heard an interesting but somewhat eerie question leave her lips.

"People fall the same as they would in real life. It's not a fun thing to see, trust me." Her smile turned somewhat downward, memories of many deaths she'd seen flashing in her mind like a paranoid dream. "And yep! All magic can be used this way, or so I've seen. It's good for having an edge, though different magic works differently, I guess. Each one has a different amount of energy and casting time it uses. It's easier as you get better at it in general, though."

Watching soon enough, she saw the way Vivian added malefimancy to her blade, similarly to what Solaria had done with her light. "With that combo you'll do well, I think. There's gotta be more boars or something out here...I saw the one I did by fluke, but if we wander a bit, I'm sure we'll find more for you guys to practice on. Gally, care to choose a direction to go in? I know a few villages are in various areas, so any direction you choose will likely lead us to one after we've had our fill of fighting."

  5. Gally thought carefully, she didn't know the area and wasn't able to make choices at all was due to her friends. She took a look at each direction, though she was on a plain there was a lining of pine trees to the south of them. Gally had to put her foot forward and try to find her way in the world. She could see far in the distance a group of mountains. 'Ok, that way.' She thought and pointed towards their direction. "There, the mountains should be a good place to start training. Especially with a party of three." She said proud and smiling. In truth she had no idea what she was doing or where she was going but it seemed any direction was as good as any other.

  6. "To the mountains then." Vivian said in acknowledgment to the newbie Hunter. The female held her blade with a tight grip as they walked. Her eyes were fixed on the translucent pad in front of her showing some of the very basic skills for beginners in the role of Slash Mastery. The female Malefimancer hummed to herself as she looked over the notes and the maneuvers associated with the attacks. At best all she could probably do was swing her sword around and hope it would hit something.

There were a lot of greyed out skills though with the use of her Mastery, much like her tomb of dark magic spells, but many had already been released due to her exercise in the subject. As the wind blew it had shuttled her hair off her shoulder, their trek towards the mountain had brought them up to a new spawning point for a dangerous looking creature.

Although it looked dangerous, it was not from what Vivian could notice of it. But she was not skilled in the department of beastiaty knowledge. Taking several faster steps forward, the female smirked and turned her head just so they could see the faint glimmer of her blue eyes, "I got this one, girls." That honey voice seeped into the wind as she looked back at her prey standing there.

With her eyes raised she took off with a blast of speed and then slowly started to slow down. She lifted her blade up and over her head and it came crashing down on the cranium of the small hobgoblin like creature. With a comical noise, it spun around and shifted it's sight on Vivian. The woman took a step back with her sword drawn and got into a defensive stance when the green skinned monster rolled its club from off the ground and attempted to smash her with it.

Sliding her foot forward, Vivian's right arm came across her chest, just enough time to deflect the blow from the wooden club that the hobgoblin had carried. Twisting on her foot and swinging around for a simple cross slash, the blade sizzled with the darkness embedded into the blade and cut across the chest of the monster spawn. Her eyes flickered when it stumbled back and was leaning away from her.

She charged forward and thrust her blade into the thick skin of its belly and pushed upwards to cut it in half. Giving a horrible screeching sound, Vivian took another step back to watch it dissolve into nothing. The dark blade pulsated with purple energy seemed to eat the remains of the hobgoblin as if feasting on its essence. With the blade raised and then gently tapping against her shoulder, the woman laughed. "Couldn't stand against me! Queen of the world!" She roared out, however, the hobgoblin that had been defeated had called forth several larger species of ogres to come out of their dens from the mountains.

While Vivian was laughing and having a good time, she did not notice the new monsters behind her.

  7. With Gally's lead, they were headed to the mountains. When was the last time Solaria headed that way, actually? Sure, she knew a few villages in the area and a fair number of nodes for getting medicinal plants...But she hadn't really been that far into the mountains before. @Gally Tresha's words, however, left the 'vet' of the group slightly stunned. "But didn't we already start? I guess this'll be a step up from our first exercise, though, you're right."

Instead of taking a leading role like she often did without the consent of her allies, Solaria decided to take a more back-of-the-line approach as they wandered towards their training destination. With another blade wielder to take the front, she was better off focusing on keeping the two in good health. As they'd decided, after all- this was training for them. It could train her mind, as well.

@Vivian Cruz's movements were stunning to the fellow swordsman, who watched the hobgoblin's fairly quick defeat along with the display of swordplay that made her ponder a bit internally. "Say, Vivian, do you do kendo? That head smash reminded me of my training...And you definitely seem pretty accustomed to a sword."
