Blue Rescue Team Meeting

Blue Rescue Team Meeting
Discussion in 'Crystallized Zalra' started by Solaria, Oct 29, 2017.
  1. It had been generally decided the way teams would split up- or at least, it was starting to be figured out. Each wagon for the rescue had a 'team color' for some reason. While she didn't understand for sure why it worked out this way, she'd been told to gather the people she bugged to join her wagon. So, she called out carefully, an energized fist in the air.

"Okay guys! So, it's been decided we're the blue team. Remember, this is a rescue mission...that means we very well might need to fight off our rescuee's captors. I'm fairly capable with a sword and with healing, so I'll be taking on a mixed role of DPS and Support. There's a bunch of us, so it'll be hard keeping track sometimes...So let me know your needs directly. Um...Actually, I'm really bad at planning things, though...Who here is actually good at devising plans of attack? Any ideas?"

    @Alric Stalwart, @Kijin Shihaku, @Verity, @Vivian Cruz and @Lucia Mierz

  2. Vivian looked at the distracted player (@Alric Stalwart ) and gave a small honied laugh, "I am quite the mystery now aren't I?" She mused with the boy, lulling him with her own seductive eyes. With a flash of her smile, she looked to @Solaria and nodded, "Nice to see you again. It's good to have a veteran player in our little team. I suppose if you are playing support, I can be of service as well. I've got a few new tricks and spells up my sleeve since the last time."

Her minxy and spirited laugh echoed out once more as her form swayed to one side. Blue eyes on her companions as they rounded up and formed into the group. She was happy to be in company of some delicious looking people. Sweeping the long hair from her face, allowing her shielded eye to be momentarily exposed, the female mused to herself and sauntered over to Alric once more. Her eyes on him as she traced his shoulder with one of her delicate fingers.

As being a Malefimancer, she could have been doing any number of things secretly and he would never know. But in all honesty, she was just jerking his chain a little seeing as he was so swept up with avoiding eye contact with her. It was a joy to get those kinds of rises out of people.

Clearing her throat, Vivian looked back towards the group, "I know little in the ways of melee combat but if push comes to shove I can probably hold my own. I would rather be in the back chanting out and slinging some spells to disable our enemies. I mean...I already do a good job of that now, don't I, Alric?" Her eyes squinted with that seductive, bedroom glint as she patted him on the shoulder. "Let's have a blast!"

  3. Well, he never expect that their team was named after the color of their wagon. Though, he can't complain since they were going to split up from the main group to try and rescue the captors. And with @Solaria calling out to the others assigned to the "Blue" team, it would be a good idea to organize themselves and do a team strategy meeting before they can go off.

Regarding my abilities, I mostly go with melee combat with my sword. However, I can still use Aeromancy for ranged attacks as well with enhancing my speed and elemental skills infused into my sword.

When Solaria mentioned about strategizing, he slowly realized that she might be on to something. If they can charge in with a plan in mind, there may have a chance for them to be killed or captured. So a leader or a strategist should be a good fit for them as he turned to Solaria.

If you want to have a leader for the team, I may try to fill that role. Though unless anyone wants to speak up, I'm not afraid to strategize for the group. As long we're organized and ready for the rescue, we might able to accomplish this mission.

Honestly, he wasn't much a team leader, but remembering on how he dealt with unruly students during a team project or thesis, he knew he was able to bring everyone back together with a few simple words. Though he has little doubts regarding with the other adventurers with them in the team.

  4. “Q-Quit playing around!”

Alric was not liking this. He moved away but something told him it was probably futile to try escaping now. He would just have to ignore the woman’s antics for the rest of their mission. If he wasn't entirely focused here now there was a good chance he would die later on; Alric at least learned that much from the struggles they all faced the previous day.

“Anyway… I have access to light magic, but I'm most skilled with my sword and shield. With that in mind, I’d rather be upfront and be both a DPS and tank for us if that's alright?”

  5. He stopped moving only after the group seemed to settle down and become serious. Between his utter distaste for people hanging off of him and the inability of the group to choose its members based on role and efficiency, the Bloodsworn felt his patience wore thin. When finally @Solaria mentioned the framework of a party, he sighed.

At least they were headed in the right direction, now.

The purple haired vixen spoke about debilitating opponents and wounding, which gave them a more rounded approach, and @Verity mentioned a certain skill with Aeromancy. That was good. A balanced party allowed for free movement in the middle to support front and back, and a frontline that held against all efforts to get through and lay waste to the entire group.

Coupled with his own ability to fight in front, the presence of @Alric Stalwart meant they had two fully capable melee combatants. Kijin already had a strategy formed in his mind as he spoke to the others.

"I prefer Frontline combat," he said at last. He lacked the full plate armor of a more illustrious knight, and his sword was of a two handed length. Still, he seemed steadfast in his judgment. "So, I will act as a tank for the group, as well."

  6. Looking at @Vivian Cruz curiously, she was happy to remember her a bit better- but that meant, also, she did remember the woman's skillset she'd been able to read. "If I recall, weren't your skills strictly for battle? Support implies healing and buffs... Though, malefimancy does have it's advantages in that too, I suppose. We may very well need some darkness in our hearts as well. We don't know what we're up against."

The woman seemed to be quite keen on noting the people he knew, which Solaria found a lovely quality. That she knew Alric, as Solaria did, meant everyone at least knew each other a little. Or at least, almost everyone. There were a couple in the group she didn't really know at all, though she'd dragged them in anyway on a whim.

"I'm fine on the front or backlines, but if you're more comfortable at the front, I'd say go for it. Though..." She glanced to @Verity, thinking for a bit. "Verity's way better with planning than I am. To be honest, I'm kind of a 'act first, ask questions later' kind of girl. I'm definitely no strategist. But, uh, I guess I should give a quick word of warning...Though I'm pretty good in a fight and I can heal, I have a biiiit of a problem. If you take a quick look at my status bar..."

She adjusted to make sure everyone looked at the information on her health, where 'Death Affliction: Martyr Complex' was clearly shown, though marked inactive for the moment. "I died once when I couldn't protect my party. It's kind of, uh, become a bigger burden than usual. If someone dies, I'll basically go berserk. So...While we're planning our mode of attack, I think it might help to plan a way to restrain me just to be safe. Because...I was already like that before I died, but now it's much, much worse."

With a timid laugh and a continuous smile, she was starting to feel uneasy with the idea of playing the supporting role, though more inclined to do so just for the fact she could keep herself out of that doghouse. But, with so few really able to heal, she was glad to be of service. And, with @Alric Stalwart there, even if he didn't act as support himself, surely he'd be of great help to her mentality.

"You've grown a lot too since we met, haven't you Al? You were so nervous, but look at you now, taking on the front line by choice. I'm so proud!" Grinning, she turned to the remainder of the party that she wasn't quite as aware of. @Kijin Shihaku had mentioned being more at ease on the front-lines, but what about @Lucia Mierz? "So...What about you? Where do you see yourself in this format? We've got at least one of everything, thanks to hybridization, but...What do you think you'd feel most at ease with? Knowing what people are comfortable with should help devise a plan, after all..."

Considering she'd admitted to being impulsive by nature, it might come to a surprise that she was even saying such wise things. There were plenty that knew this to be unusual behavior for her...But her Martyr Complex happened to seem to have one pleasant side effect when inactive: it made her worry more about becoming a burden.

  7. Lucia had spent a large portion of the planning process laying down, eyes closed, comfortable. As if a ritual to maintain cool and calm in times of crisis, her head rested on the soft thighs of an Elven woman. The woman in particular had ash colored skin, dressed in revealing cloth during a moment of peace letting Lucia find some measure of comfort in her lap without reservation or shame. The cotton white hair and deep crimson color that swallowed her eyes leaving no other color or pupil though was a quality indicator that something about the woman just wasn't right. @Vivian Cruz might recognize it as a type of Malefimancy, one that was far more advanced though, difficult to discern with her level of Mastery.

@Alric Stalwart and @Solaria would be able to recognize that the mysterious woman had literally no life force though, as if a black hole, there was no light within her to speak of. As if she were the anti-thesis of holy power. Despite this though, the woman made no action, said no words, as if being a gentle and courteous attendant, she simply watched Lucia rest, gauging her Miss's mood indifferent to those around her. Her gaze contained an icy and frostbitten chill of disdain that only became gentle or warm for brief flashes when Lucia stirred. It was only when she was mentioned that Lucia finally opened an eye, her gaze a little drowsy, as if wishing she could have rested a while longer. Slowly sitting up with a heavy breath, Lucia nodded her head to the Elven woman. "Get ready Sylvanas, the others seem flustered, break time is over probably." Lucia instructed with a somewhat bitter expression, clearly wanting more time for relaxing before the strife. @Verity would no doubt be familiar with Lucia's ways, but she still ended up gesturing with a hand to bring up her prompt to contribute to the discussion.

"I can go anywhere. Short or Long range doesn't make much of a difference. If someone should be coming up with strategy though, I suppose I'll bare that burden if no one else wants to. To start with-- Since no one's volunteered to tank, I can guess we don't have one, so we'll no doubt be in for a bad time. Those with supportive skills should likely stick to supporting to keep up with healing the DPSs since there will be no protection this time around. Naturally if things are urgent though we'll have to change the game plan, but as it stands we should prioritize keeping everyone at full health just in case someone gets lucky and is dropped mid-combat.

Lets see what else... For what I can do, I'm a Summoner, I can summon Knights or Assassins at this point, they aren't that good for protection though since they're still a work in progress. Having an army doesn't hurt though I suppose? I can do four different types of damage, Holy, Cold, Dark or Physical, so I have options at least.

Since we have nothing but DPS and supports though, it's best if we prioritize murdering any opposition as quickly as possible as the DPS, this isn't the time for checking equipment or taking in the sights. If you're not stabbing or blasting something every second you have a chance then you'll be risking our chances as a whole. Beyond that we'll have to actually get into combat though before I can continue on..."

  8. Looks like it was decided. While he did take charge a few times, this will be his first time as a strategist and a real team leader here. But while his new persona increased his ego as a leader, he had to make sure to fulfill the others' wishes and suggestions if they want to accomplish this. He was a cold, cautious man, but he was not afraid to turn to others on their opinions.

As he saw her health information, he was surprised that @Solaria even have that special and permanent ailment onto her character that can affect her mentality if someone died right in front of her. Though psychological changes aside, the term "Death Affliction" made him more curious regarding her ailment. Judging by her words, he learned that the death in this game might give them those afflictions after their revival. Which means he also had to be careful as he didn't want any more changes to his personality.

"Well, if you do have an episode of your Death Affliction, I'll try my best to stop you. Other than that, we might as well watch our health so we won't suffer the same fate. The fewer bodies, the higher chance we can rescue the other players."

Speaking of which, Verity took out some bottles from his inventory and showed them to the other members. "I'm not mostly on healing others, but I might try to be one along with my main role as an attacker. Besides, I was hoping these potions and oils may give us an advantage to whatever our enemies will throw at us." Sure, Solaria was also an alchemist, but since she might use her magic more than potions, it might be best if he can bring some of his creations in case she was lacking the energy to cast a healing spell.
