    Can I Fix You Something?

Dunnstands. Although Blithe was not particularly fond of the place, she had found herself exploring the area after she handed in another quest to earn some more gold towards her cafe plan. Lately she had been taking quest after quest, trying to earn enough to buy herself a small property or even something, yet the small girl was slow at working up. Pooped, she dragged herself along the coast, feets moving slowly in the sand as her pigtails swayed side to side. It was not until she heard some yelling up ahead that she paused and dodged behind a rock, peaking out in curiousity.

Up ahead was a group of sea raiders. They were laughing, surrounding something that Blithe could not see. She was honestly too tired to fight them, so she watched. And she waited. Sea Raiders never meant something good... Maybe they were talking about their latest plunder? Maybe they were killing someone? Or maybe they were just having a jolly old day and would leave a prize behind for her? Never the less, she kept her eyes narrowed and ears pealed for any sort of noise. It took a couple minutes, but the raiders moved on. She waited a couple minutes more until she was sure they were gone, before popping out from behind the rock and continuing to drag down the beach- Just a lot quicker.

As she approached where they had been standing, there seemed to be a body there, one of the male kind. Was he dead? Dying? Injured? She didn't know, but all Blithe could do at the moment was stare at it with a blank expression, body turned to the side with her hands to her chest and legs pressed together. She had to check if he was alright... But she really didn't want to touch it, because who wants to touch a dead body, right? Narrowing her eyes, she extended her leg carefully and gently prodded the mans side with her bright pink sneaker, gulping gently, "Hello?"

  4. Was this what dying felt like? As he laid there face down in the dirt the thought played over and over again in Alric's mind. If only those raiders hadn’t caught him off guard, he would have given them a proper beat down. Too bad he barely had any strength left. The swordsman was ready to accept his fate and embrace the sweet release of death. At least until he heard her. While he could barely feel as she nudged his side, he managed to focus enough to understand as she called out to him with a gentle voice. Although his body was sore, he managed to turn enough to look up at her. It was a beautiful sight, or at least in his dying state Alric thought so. As the sun shined behind this woman he figured this was just part of how the game took players over to the other side.

    “Are… Are you an angel?”

He figured that had to be the only explanation. That or she was waiting for him to die to loot his corpse afterward. It wasn't like he was carrying anything of value and he wanted to tell her, but right now most of his energy was being used just to remain conscious. Whatever. If she stole his stuff then so be it. This would just serve as a lesson for next time he decided to adventure too far away from territory he was familiar with.

  5. Blithe was more than a little surprised when the man actually turned over to look at her, narrowing her eyes at him as she gazed down. He seemed to be alive, of course, but upon entering investigation mode it was revealed he had low health and low mp, both not a good sign but something she could fix. He also seemed to be newer, which made sense as to why he would be out so easily, but not as to why the raiders would attack him. However, she just continued to stare back at him for a couple of moments, until he finally spoke up, "Are... Are you an angel?"

Immediately, she burst into giggles, moving in the way of the sun so that he, below, could see her face and not just blinding light, "No silly, je suis flatté, but I am no angel~" She said with a little stick out of her tongue and falling down to her side. Thank goodness she came across him, adept in muse and all, so that she could heal him back to life. That would just be his hp, though... But mp she could work on after.

Putting her hands in her lap, Blithe began to sing very gently. Her song was cute and sweet, but also more like a lullaby. A feeling of warmth would enter Alric as she did so, soothing him as his health began to fill up from her song. She did this for a while until she stopped, nodding to herself in satisfaction before putting her hands on the ground before her, cocking her head to the side at him and raising an eyebrow curiously, "So, what did you do to piss of the raiders so much, hmmm?" After he explained the situation, then she would really set to work.

  8. As she sang the swordsman could feel the wounds start to heal as warmth flooded his body and the general numbness that had washed over his body began to drift away. He could probably sit up now at least. Pushing his achy form off the ground Alric sat with his legs crossed and let a heavy sigh escape his lips; his gaze avoiding the woman as he recounted the moments leading up to their meeting.

“It’s a bit hazy, but… This was my first time seeing the coast. I wanted to look around a little and before I knew it I found the camp those guys had set up further down the beach. Yeah, they weren't too happy about it and ended up chasing me here.”

He would finally look at her now; studying her face in an attempt to gauge her reaction. Of course he was curious why she had come here but would hold off on prying for info to avoid seeming rude. He still didn't even know her name after all.

“So… I'd probably be dead right now if you hadn't shown up. I'm Alric and since I can't just call you 'that girl who saved my life’ forever can I know your name?”
