It was not often Kaedé could visit a beach in the real world with work keeping her at the café, or the fact none of the beaches where she lived had been any good compared to her old favorite beach back in Japan. But as the girl felt the soft white sands passing between her toes, oddly warm despite the fall season in full swing around the game world. Gaze still on the crystal blue water before her. _____Scarlet hair drifting towards inland as the girl continued to run further towards the sea and more into the small beach she had discovered while exploring the world of the game. Outside her white jacket loosely hanging on her shoulders, or such was the case until a warm breeze swept it off and caused it to drift up into a tree at the edge of the beach. Turning and using her right hand to keep her hair out of her eyes as she pouted at the sight. Last thing she needed was to have to climb a tree in a swimsuit. _____Turning back to the ocean with a light stomp of her foot she resigned to simply letting her jacket hand out until she fully felt the need to retrieve it. Without the item her swimsuit was exposed to anyone else in the area. The red frill two piece was easily showing her features but not exposing anything Kaedé would be embarrassed to show in public since her work on reforming into her own person. Left hand brushing hair over her ear as she stopped a good distance from the water and smiled happily. ____It had only been a week since she wanted to stop being the ghost of her old friend, it was a long week and had it’s fair share of trouble along the way, but not without some high points. She got to go on a date with Harveste, a real date, not just her meeting and trying to get into the girl’s pants. She got to see a few of the NPCs she once knew and started trying to slowly work her way back to where she was once with them. Then there was the fact her actions caused a second personality to appear in her mind she could not control. _____Athea, that was the fitting name for this other persona as it seemed to take everything Kaedé once did in memory of the girl and formed it into an alternate self with some minor changes and additions. The other self was far more forceful with her actions, and even doing things to harm people to get what it wanted. So far Kaedé knew that this other self only showed if Kaedé let her emotions flare up in any one sort, and it also was not something Kaedé felt should stick around, but at the same token felt this other self existed for a reason she was yet to find out. _____Head shaking slowly to dismiss the deep thinking, Kaedé was here to enjoy the beach not think about her life and what she would need to do in the future. Moving to soak her feet with a bit of surprise, the water was warm despite the season, meaning this was not going to be a short trip. Moving more into the water until she felt it was safe to dive into the warm water and enjoying the change of temperature. _____Kaedé was mostly sure she had arrived early enough to be the only person at the beach, but she also was not focused enough to see if someone had beat her here, not to mention she was mostly focused on swimming and diving to see just how much effort the game makes placed into this world. She was hopeful they gave a good underwater detail and maybe she could find a few shells to take home. She would be under the waves for some time before she poked back up for air, her face a smile she really loved the beach.
It was only natural for Harveste to join Kaede at the beach, or so she thought. In reality, it had only come up in passing, the girl realized- but still, she had plenty of reasons to join in on the beach party of it's own kind. Harveste hadn't been to the beach in ages in general. Something about the beach in autumn was just enchanting. Add in her girlfriend in a bathing suit? Yeah, she had to be there. Of course, the beach did mean bathing suits, and not just on others. Harveste had taken great care in renting one she could use on her small form, one that fit her childish face while covering up more than others might, a thing she happened to prefer with her clothing in general. Even as the slight dress of a bathing suit swished around her hips, her face flushed when she got to the sand, seeing @Kaede Hoshi's brilliant smile as she came out of the water causing a slight rush in her bloodstream. She'd just got there, and already, she was seeing something far more enchanting than the waves. This was supposed to be a quasi-party though, right...? I shouldn't try to hog her to myself...But... With inner turmoil, she ran to the edge of the water and let the sand sneak between her toes, hands wrapped around her mouth slightly to make her call louder. "Kaede! Can I join you~?"
The beach! Vina hadn't expected to find such a place, at least not at random when she had just been exploring the lands of Falderen a bit. She had been wandering through Brisshal, Pormont and Druuk Island, although she hadn't remained in Pormont for long because there were too many Grass Knolls for her to feel safe. She may have Beast Taming but that didn't mean she was safe from the creatures living in the world, not completely. The pirates and thugs on Druuk Island may not be completely safe to be around either, but at least they were willing to abstain from fighting and murdering if you just persuaded them a bit, usually with some coin and a drink. Pirates or no pirates, Druuk Island was where they went to spend their money and sell their ill-gotten goods, so it was one of the places where they were less likely to attack people at random, more often getting into fights with other pirates while drunk instead. Grass Knolls, however, were very territorial and there wasn't a lot you could do to keep them from attacking other than appearing harmless and not spending any more time in their territory than needed. It was only good fortunate that at least the Grass Knolls seemed to be fine with letting Vina through once it became clear that she was only trying to get through their territory without lingering, and she didn't have anything worth anything to them with her either (Naturamancy did make getting food easier, as well as performing with the Music mastery). But now here in Dunnstads, all the way on the edge of Falderen (almost as far away as Druuk Island, which was far enough away that, combined with its status of being disconnected from the mainland, had been able to maintain its semi-independence which allowed the low-lives of society to gather there without the Falderen armies coming over to gather them all up) it looked like she had found something magnificent indeed. Dunnstads appeared to have a much more coastal thematic than most of Falderen, thanks to its stretched out shape which meant that most of the area was directly exposed to the sea. She had seen plenty of villages already with bigger towns further inland, along with some beautiful scenery as the soon travelled across the sky and was reflected off of the sparkling water of the endless seas. Vina had seen the sea often in her life, but most of the time it had been in the colder country of Norway, where it was beautiful but its beauty was more akin to a jewel, sparkling and clear, but also sharp and hard. Here it was a lot more gentle. And then there was this little beach, which in real life would definitely have a lot of visitors. Here in Terrasphere Vina guessed that the people of this world were usually too busy to enjoy something as lazy as a vacation, since without modern technology you couldn't really drop everything and go away for several weeks whenever you felt like it, unless you happened to be one of the nobles. Which was a real shame, since Vina was sure that they'd be able to enjoy this beautiful beach. She'd have to see if she could at least tell some players that she had encountered so far about it, because she wanted to share a place like this. But first she'd have to try it out herself, if only because she didn't want to walk away and it would take a while to call people over. It was a good thing that she had enough foresight to buy some clothes suitable for swimming. She had been expecting to use them for a lake or something, but she wasn't going to complain about this course of events. Since there was nobody around (although it probably wouldn't have changed her mind) Vina undressed quickly and then put on her swimsuit, a dark purple bikini with some minor bright purple accents. It didn't really cover a lot, but that never stopped Vina and beyond that she liked the simplistic style and the amount of freedom it gave her. Even more importantly it gave her tail full freedom, in contrast to most clothes where she needed to make a hole for it or her the underside of the lower part pressing against the base of her tail. She wagged her tail several times to confirm that it was indeed just as free as she wanted it, then smiled in satisfaction and stretched, her fox-like ears perking up as she hummed a happy tune. Finishing her stretching she gathered her clothes and put them in her inventory, then made her way over to the beach, eager to test the softness of the sand and the refreshing coldness of the water. Seeing that two people were already present on the beach Vina slowed down for a moment, then smiled and continued on her way once she saw that just like herself the two appeared to be enjoying this clean and inviting beach. Two girls, one an alluring redhead and the other a cute purplette (purplehead? Purply? What was the term of someone with purple hair?), the redhead already in the water and the other one shouting something from on the beach. Vina herself remained silent until she was close enough to the purple-haired one that she didn't need to shout, then called out while her tail swished behind her. "Hey there! I see I'm not the first one to find this place! Are the two of you together or did you just happen to stumble across this place at the same time?" She smiled brightly, her white hair swirling around her as the same wind that had stolen Kaede's jacket was now playing with the Felis's ground-length waterfall of pristine white. "I don't think we've met before. I'm Vina Skysong, and may I know your name?" It didn't really occur to Vina that maybe she was unwelcome here, if only because she wasn't really thinking about the possibility of @Kaede Hoshi and @Harveste being an item. She saw two people on the beach, so she went to greet them. As simple as that.
Surprised slightly even though she wasn't that loudly greeted, the faerin struggled not to jolt as she looked towards the stranger. A woman with white hair and a much more womanly figure than herself, the slight red of her face felt like fire to her for a moment. Unlike she, who wore an unusually covering one-piece much akin to a short dress with built in undergarments, this woman wore quite the revealing bikini- and she was very close in proximity, meaning she had an easy view of most of her. Stumbling to catch her words in her head, she stopped her wandering thoughts. She'd already been embarrassed focusing on the cuteness of Kaede. She didn't need to think of much else right now, did she? "Um, we're together but not. Kaede mentioned maybe having a quasi party at the beach today, though it was more her way of saying she planned to come, I think." Seeing as it was someone she didn't know, she awkwardly stretched an arm out for a handshake. @Vina Skysong had already introduced herself, so it was only natural to do the same, right? Perhaps they'd be able to be friends. "My name is Harveste. I kind of just came without thinking about it in the end. What about you? Did you come to play at the beach as well? Er, well, I guess that's obvious since you're dressed for it, already...But...Still! What gave you a calling to feel the sea breeze today of all days~?"
Seeing the girl's blush Vina got the strong urge to giggle and tease her a little bit, but she managed to keep herself from doing that even though the corners of her mouth went up a bit further and her azure eyes shone with amusement. This purple-haired girl was really cute, in a somewhat childish manner but even so that didn't diminish the cuteness. Still, Vina wasn't sure if her appearance was indication that she actually was a child or if she simply had preferred to give herself a youthful appearance, so she'd remain polite and treat her like an equal. If it turned out that she really was a child then it didn't really matter, anyway. Although she did giggle slightly as Harveste tried to find the words to answer, her ears twitching and her tail swishing from side to side behind her. Her expression and stance were friendly and open, so she hoped it would be clear to the girl that Vina wasn't actually making fun of her. "I see~ So she found this place and told you that she'd come, probably hoping that you'd follow? Makes sense." She said even as she took Harveste's hand and shook it. "It's nice to meet you Harveste, and I actually didn't know about this beach until I spotted it a few minutes ago. I saw how beautiful it was and decided that I might as well make use of the opportunity, although I have to admit I didn't expect to find two people already making use of it." She took note of the redhead's name, Kaede, although then her attention was demanded on the issue of Harveste's ears. Which explained a great deal about Harveste's appearance. Vina hadn't noticed it before but seeing the pointy ears she realized that Harveste was a Faerin. The ears weren't long enough to be Yladian, and it explained why Harveste looked a lot younger than most people Vina had encountered so far. She herself hadn't paid much attention to the fey-like race during character creation, because she preferred to base her in-game appearance on her actual appearance the Faerin would have been too short for that. However that didn't mean she hadn't at least read their description. "The reason why I have this swimsuit even though I only just found this place was because I was hoping to find some nice lakes to swim in as I explored this world, although I certainly don't mind running into this place instead. Especially since we can play together here, if the two of you don't mind me butting in." Vina looked over towards Kaede who was in the water, then back towards @Harveste. "On another note, and I'm honestly curious here, are you a Faerin? I don't think I've encountered a single Faerin before, so it took me a while before I noticed the pointy ears and connected the dots." She twitched her foxlike ears to emphasize them. "I myself was more interested in being a Felis, but what's it like being a Faerin?" She wondered if Harveste was actually really tall in real life and just wanted to experience the other side during her stay in Terrasphere, but decided not to ask that. Even if she wasn't one to quickly be embarrassed she thought asking people about real life information would be rude and give the wrong impression entirely.
I wasn't one for a crowd. Taking in the sights, smells and the feelings of being on the beach. It was semi-strange to me. I never really took time away from practicing my slashing skills, or learning how to better control my masteries. This was one such day where I was tired of the normal and wanted to do something different, yet also wanting to just be away from the prying eyes as my.... skills were not the most suitable around here. Anywhere in fact. The sun was moving in the sky above me. The feeling of sand between my toes was new and comforting like it should be. Just that people here were all in groups and were enjoying time for themselves. Spending time with abilities that made you naturally an outcast only furthered my reason for not trusting others. Being an onlooker to the various girls who were having fun or just talking to one another made me feel a little jealous, but at the same time, self aware of myself in a not so good way. The white two piece I wore made me feel exposed. Even if I was carrying a weapon with me, I was not currently, I would still feel naked and exposed to the eyes of others. Walking quite a distance away from the others, The tide rolled over my feet as I walked past them. Hearing very small snit-bits of conversation. Mostly speaking about how one of the girls had not met a Felis before. I had not either, but it was interesting to see them around. They always peeked my interests as many of them were sought after as friends, or even something more because of their appearance. While I was not privy to why some beings sought after these desired looks, or otherwise find interest in someone, I did understand that everyone wants to have their fun, or whatever version of fun they wanted. Looking down and away from the group, I kept walking past them and paid them no more attention as I played with the small frills on my swimsuit with my left hand. Flattening them down onto my thigh, I would release them to watch them pop up. It was interesting the first few times I did it. With no idea of what kind of fun I wanted, I decided that this was a good spot. Taking a seat, Crossing my legs, and sitting down into the sand. My finger playing with the sand and making shapes of swords or people, only to be washed and rubbed away by the incoming, and outgoing tides. I continued to do this, and just kept to myself.
Some of the perks of his title were great. The vendor he rented a towel from seemed rather amicable, despite the current situation regarding nations. Either that or the up and down eyeing was for a more... sensational reason. Alonso even got a bag to place his belongings in for free, and if that was not great service he did not know what was. Yet, despite his inner relief at having a vacation for once, the man continued to grasp the fact he was going to be a lone wolf. Everyone else who joined in was more or less going to be one of the younger crowd with no interest in the Felis, the same going on from Alonso's point of view. No, stop damnit! If he was going to have fun he needed to remove such thoughts from his mind. His beach towel slung over his left should, bag in his right hand as his feet pressed into the sand and move the man's body forward. Alonso opted for a simple look, that being a pair of swim trunks that just about hugged his thighs, but still allowed air flow to a degree. Other than that his full, bearish body was displayed in all its muscled glory. So much muscle was etched into his being that he might as well rival the Incredible Hulk in sheer mass, and if he ever needed to 'Hulk Out' it was just a matter of time before the Marquees went further. Too bad keeping screenshots was relegated to the game's memory, and not for saving into certain folders on his home computer. A semi-random spot became the Marquees's point of interest. Little time was spared as Alonso unfurled his towel, adjusting the precise measurements for the perfect line up to lay under the sun. He did not expect to get a tan, but was pretty sure this was how people went to the beach. With a simple thud the held bag dropped onto the towel, a sigh of relief coming from his throat. Alonso maneuvered his gaze to the others who gathered here, and thus far it was a bunch of female players, all clothed in typical, anime beach visit episode attire. No perverted boys yet either. The Felis's eyes narrowed, overprotective notions floating his brain, Oh, I know you little shits are here somewhere trying to spy on the girls. One girl in particular caught the watchful gaze and slapped away paranoid thoughts. He did not know or even recognize her, but something about the young woman was off, as though she made an intentional effort to remove herself from the rest of the beach goers. Once more came the man's self promise to associate himself with people more, and his status meant taking initiative and assisting others with his or her problems. Nobody else was around yet who Alonso was going to take any priority over. His head tilted, brow raised at the woman's actions. Was she drawing? Writing? Just sliding her hand across the every receding and rising waves? Discovery was the key to success, and the man found himself wandering up to @Morna. Right, got to lowering himself to reduce the breadth of his mass compared to, well, everyone else who played this game. Glancing back he noticed his obvious tracks made by the powerful feet propelling his body both in reality and out of it. Maybe he should create a few patterns later by walking, just for the heck of it. Alonso shook his head again in attempts to remove those distracting thoughts. Too much assaulted his mind on a regular basis, the man having to force himself to a knee in order to accomplish his current task. "You seem a bit quiet over here," the Felis began, "Wouldn't it be better if you join the other girls? It's not exactly a good time if you're going to look all sad over here."
Along the beautiful beaches of Dunnstads were many feminine creatures. Some cute, some voluptuous, some pretty, some needing to hit a gym or ten. There were even a few men. One in particular was a enormous looking fellow that looked like a mini gigas compared to the smaller girls running about. Finally, there was another... a young lady of refinement and elegance so grand and exquisite. That she was like a legendary pear washed ashore from the long forgotten sea city itself. Her blonde locks blew gently in the cool breeze. Her body was perfectly shaped and make up perfectly done. Her swimsuit as well had to be the best, anyone who thought otherwise was a buffoon of course. Simple as that! Leaning back on her beach chair. Drinking the perfect champagne for such a day. She had no body guards, no generals, no one other than herself today. They were all commanded to stay at the nearby inn and to not bother her for the next few hours. This was one of her most enjoyed hobbies... Priscilla Flanst absolutely loved going to beaches in other kingdoms and regions. Regardless of danger or distance. She had to get by Titanius to get here...but it still did not stop her. That's why she had Faulkner and her other servants after all! Priscilla was the head of House Flanst, such trivial things were not a challenge for her! "Ahhh... Falderen lacks many exotic locals but surely this is a rare exception. It does seem a bit... busier around here lately. Hmph, commoners." She sipped her glass slowly and seriously wished there were more hot young guys around that might be more than friends... Watching some romantic beach moments between them would at least be worth the company.
Going to the beach during autumn was a bit eccentric, but Cain was never one to prevent himself from trying new things. With uncommonly warm temperatures and a seaside view dappled by scarlet leaves that colored the waters like burning flotsam, the midnight-haired muse really had no way to suppress his desire to take a dip. The sky was just as blue as the sea, after all, and for whatever reason, it looked like a bunch of others had taken to enjoying the fine weather in a suitably fine fashion as well. From the hulking Felis that massively outsized his companion to a trio of some familiar, some unfamiliar faces to a girl that looked as if she positively REEKED of money and privilege, there really looked to be a grand amount of people already having fun. Well, as much fun as people could have on a beach without actually enjoying the water. Really, just because it was autumn didn’t mean they could just dick around on the sand only. If they wanted to do that, there had to be a playground out there with a sandbox, right? And even if the weather was super duper lukewarm, it wasn’t suntanning weather either! Get that posh tropical pose out of there! Fully prepared to get wet himself, Cain had bundled up his long hair into a fashionable braided bun, found himself a part of shorts he didn’t mind getting wet, stored all his fancy clothing into his interdimensional inventory (even his trademark hat!) and spent a good amount of time warming up. The waters were going to be colder than the wind, after all, and all the magic in the world wasn’t going to convince him that drowning due to a pulled muscle wasn’t going to be fatal. For all the crazy stuff he wanted to try later, from dramatically releasing his bundled up hair like a sexy nerd in a romance film to teleporting up as high as he could to powerbomb the waters below, Cain wanted to have some normal fun first, after all. With a quick wave towards Harveste (who didn’t even notice him, so busy she was with her girl friend and girlfriend, Cain strode confidently towards the cresting waves. The salty fragrance was a welcome one after so many weeks spent inland, and though cracked shells prickled the bottom of his feet, the statuesque man didn’t mind all that much. More sensations he wouldn’t be able to experience on the Other Side. More reasons to indulge in this as much as he could before his time ran out. One forceful step submerged his feet into the silt below, sand squishing inbetween his toes as a spine-tingling chill raced up his leg. Another step brought him in, the waves lapping against his calves, and from there on? The muse danced. No one else was in the waters yet. No one else could be bothered by this. Taking full advantage of the pristine choreography granted to him by his Music mastery, he twisted, turned, dipped, skipped, enjoying the crystal chimes of individual saltwater droplets bursting from the sea, enjoying the plumes of sand bursting with every step. A song, unsung, was already in his head, one of elegant destruction and voracious codependency. The warmth of his pulsating heart, the chill of the rising waters, the terror and the joy, the passions of hatred and longing, they all mixed and mixed and mixed. Until Cain realized, continuing on with that dance of his, that he truly wished he could share this life with those infinite others on the Other Side. He danced to make the world bloom. He danced to make his mind blossom. He danced to make her efforts rewarded.
Hold up, there existed a virtual beach in Terrasphere which players could actually go to enjoy themselves? Well, count Aria in! Time to wear her best swimsuit, hang out with friends, ogle handsome guys, and maybe show off her modeling skills a bit. If there was something Aria learned from her college courses and part-time job, it was that a model's meticulous maintenance of their figure was truly proven during swimsuit photoshoots. Her slim and fit form, the result of holding back sweet tooth urges and rigorous diet, shall not be unheard! Well, this was a virtual reality and everyone could look whatever they wanted here. However, Aria's height and figure were exactly the same as her real-life body, thus, she was justified to feel pride. Clad in a black swimsuit with green highlights matching her hair, the upper portion was rather modest yet stylish enough for someone who possessed a bust smaller than average. However, her hips were holding panties tied at the side, allowing her to keep her modesty while exposing her slender legs in all their model-esque glory. Her green hair was tied in a pair of long twintails, a change from her usual loose hairstyle. A flower decorated each of her feline ears as her tail swished. "Mmm~" Inhaling the cool beach air in Autumn, Aria turned towards her companion. Of course, a beach party wouldn't be fun without friends tagging along. Fortunately for her, the suave midnight-haired Muse was with her! The one and only @Cain Darlite himself. Yep. after the rather disastrous hanging out in the Rocky Road due to a certain Emo-Bitch Magical Girl, Aria wasn't keen to just let it go. After a little bit of convincing, here they were, on the beautiful beach of Falderen's very own coastal region, Dunnstads. "Isn't this nice, Cain~?" The Felis giggled as the Muse went ahead in taking first dibs into the sea water. Oh my, she bit her lower lip, pleased at examining his chiseled frame and abs. Who could rival a man who could make a Greek statue jealous? "Oh..." Damn, she got her answer alright as her eyes turned to a particular figure (@Alonso Thorlion ), a tall and wide fellow with toned muscles that could match Heracles toe-to-toe. The blue-haired older man was a Felis too by the look of things, so the stereotype of Felis being all slender and lithe was undoubtedly false. Haha... wow, she couldn't take her eyes off both Cain and him. There was absolutely nothing that could ruin the experience! "Ahhh... Falderen lacks many exotic locals but surely this is a rare exception. It does seem a bit... busier around here lately. Hmph, commoners." ...or so she thought. Woah, woah, woah, hold up, who invited Countess Stuckup McSnobby here? Aria's eyes twitched as she turned towards the fuchsia-eyed blonde aristocrat, nose held up, eyes narrowed, looking down on everyone as if they were insects. "Urgh..." Why, oh why did her type have to be here of all places?! First was Emo-Bitch, now she had a Snob Slut. Oh, come on! Couldn't she enjoy some quality time with Cain without all these... whores ruining the atmosphere?! Groaning and growling like an angry cat, Aria decided to give @Priscilla Flanst a piece of her mind. "Hey, girl." The green-haired Felis put her hands on her waist, cocking her hips slightly as she leaned forward, "I don't know who you are and, frankly, I don't give a shit. Why don't you shut your trap and just enjoy the beach like everyone else, hmm?" She smirked, facial features twitching, barely restraining herself from clawing the blonde's eyes out. Everything about her was just so... so... infuriating! Aria met her kind of people in her real life's college and work, she did not need them in her escape from reality, goddamnit!
She just stood there, watching the waves roar. She just stood there, as the water reached further towards the shore. She just stood there, her dress fluttering before the sea breeze. She just stood there, humming a sweet melody. When was the last time she ever visited a beach like this? There were no words to describe but she just stood there, basking in the sun. Dreams, memories flooded back, thoughts of forlorn and wondering riddled her head, believing they retain mystery. Her eyes glittered at the sight of it all, she can feel her feet touch the sound as the waves greeted her with a gentle touch. The sea breeze was just too powerful that it blew her hat away, sent flying to God knows where. The commons that lead normal lives would come and go, a few would notice her and looked at her as if she was a vivid image of a wondrous siren under the guise of a human girl, longing for their sailor's return. "What will you do with a Drunken Sailor?" she walked along the coastline. "What will you do with a Drunken Sailor?" leaving footprints in the sand as she strolled along. "What will you do with a Drunken Sailor?" as she sang that song softly... "Early in the....morning..." and ominously. She envy the women who were able to buy swimsuits that complimented their voluptuous bodies, rather it wasn't just about showing skin but believed that she isn't much to look at even if she found a cute one to wear. Today of all days was a day of rest and relaxation but she finds that staying in home was too boring, even if she was granted the chance to browse over the Internet and watch cat videos. And because this was a virtual beach, the slow change in pigment was only just temporary, not entirely harmful in anyway and if so, a simple application of cream helps. She was not to bathe in the sun for too long before the sun reached its height but this moment would have gone sweeter if only... If only her family were here with her.
OOC: I have been asked to RP in third person. I'll leave my first post how it is, but will continue threading in third person. Just in case some of you are confused for why I switched. After sitting down, Morna looked over to her left side. Seeing a rather large fellow standing next to her. A mam his size dwarfed her and would likely dwarf everything other than bosses. Even then, the humanoid bosses would still be small. Looking up to the man with vibrant blue hair, Morna turned with her hips towards him. No need to speak with her back to the man. He was being kind. Shaking her head as she answered him. "No. I tend to stick to myself. No point in making friends when they don't see who I am." Morna's head dropped a little down to her chest. Eyes fixated upon the sand in between her crossed legs. Reaching down, she would use her finger to play with the sand. Making shapes and symbols that had no meaning or consequence. The man didn't seem to leave or care what Morna had stated. She wasn't really the type for a crowd. Always on her own, or barely working with someone for a very short time. "I am someone who not a lot of people like. As soon as they open my book, I am judged differently than if they looked at my cover." Morna kept her eyes away from this man. She didn't know who he was, nor what species since he was so large, unlike others who seemed to be more along the lean side. She could tell that he was rather... protective? Matches because of his size and the very likely chance he was a tank build character. Moreover, Morna wasn't one to talk to others who wanted to push her out into the open. Which now days seemed to be just about everyone. Standing up, her hands wiped away some of the sand from the back of her thighs and rear. Sticking to her like barnacles upon a ship's hull. She continued to brush them off and then looked up to the massive man. Large enough to triple her weight, yet Morna didn't seem afraid of him. Just a little cautious like an animal looking and keeping their distance from another unknown creature. "Why would you worry about my lack of a crowd?" @Alonso Thorlion
_____It would be a few moment before Kaede could, or rather did hear someone calling out to her and a voice all to known. Turning as crimson as her hair before she ducked under the waves trying to calm herself down from the sudden surprise. Sure this was a public beach but the fact Harveste happen to cross it at the same time as Kaede was rare chances nonetheless. After a moment Kaede would take the moment to notice she was trying to breath water and shot back up to get air after spitting it out in a rather comedic fashion. _____With a bit more composed nature she would start to swim her way back to shore seeing both her lovely spider lily in one of the cutest bathing suits she wished she could have fit into, and a felis girl. Moving closer as Kaede moved her hair to her back and tried, very hard to look relaxed, but with a few shades of red still on her face and not just strands of her hair she would stand near the two and calmly wave to them. ”Hi spider lily~, who is your friend?” _____Her voice cheerful and riddled with a slight nervousness but otherwise her usual self as Kaede moved to hug Harveste and kiss the girl’s cheek happily. A moment passing before she realized not only was she still wet from the water but she was acting much like her old self and turned more red as she backed up a bit and tried to hide her face again. A constant battle and one she seemed to only keep losing as time passed on but attempt nonetheless. ”Anyways… I was not expecting things to get so busy around here this time of year… Maybe I should have cooked some more food after all…” _____Kaede would begin to navigate her UI to get out a blanket and towel, along with her slightly oversized basket of food she had made. Harveste would likely notice it was the same blanket from the last time the two had gone to a beach front in the game but it was cleaned and Kaede seemed none the wiser at the moment as she set the basket down and started to dry herself off a bit. Pulling out a plate with small sandwiches in the shapes of sandals using celery and grape tomatoes to make the straps and a toothpick to keep them to each sandwich she blushed nervously. ”Still not good enough to try any real cooking… Your welcome to join us… I made a couple extra…” @Harveste | @Vina Skysong
"I don't know if she thought I'd come or not. To be honest, I don't know if she even realized she said it...But when she did, it just seemed like a fun idea to surprise her, I guess." Laughing timidly, the girl rubbed the back of her head, feeling the tickling of her hair on her arm far easier than she was used to. Vina's hair was so long, she could only wonder if it felt similar to her and other girls she saw in the area- an area seemingly growing more crowded by the moment. Deep breath, self. You should've known the beach was crowded. When Vina asked about minding her there, the girl giggled a bit while still distracted from the sea itself, for the moment. "I don't see a reason to mind it. It's not like we own the beach, you know? Besides, a trip to the beach is rarely complete without people playing around. Well, I don't think it usually is..." To be fair, her last time at the beach had been fairly private, and was also in the game. When was the last time she'd been to the shore in their own world? Could she remember? "As for my species...if you think my ears are pointy, you should see Kaede's~ Yladians have much more notable ears than a faerin does. I mostly chose mine because I based my character on the idea of a nature sprite, so...Doesn't a faerin seem fitting?" While giggling as she chattered with whom she now would likely call a new friend, she peeked towards the water again only to see the red face that seemed to bury itself underwater, a soft spell of worry catching her off guard. She was about to call out, but she found that Kaede had made it to the shore not long after she'd noticed and fretted. Having gone into a minor panic, she rushed to the crimson-haired girl's side, hugging onto her fairly tightly- as tight as her small body could manage. "Kaede, you scared me! Are you alright? You looked like you were about to drown! You need to be more careful!" The last thing she'd accept was losing the woman again- especially knowingly, this time. "Ah...This is Vina. We were chatting while I was waiting for you to notice me. W-Was it bad I came? I just remembered you mentioning you'd thought about coming out to this beach the other day and thought I'd surprise you..." Slightly red herself now, she was beginning to understand how that could be intimidating. She was well aware, at least mostly, of Kaede's current situation. She knew Kaede was scared of herself in many cases, and was trying to figure out who she was. After their last date, she should have realized the woman was actually far more anxiety-driven than she'd ever appeared before. Luckily, Kaede seemed to calm down, leaving Harveste with a sigh of relief. Considering the woman seemed surprised to see her, there was quite a bit of food on the picnic blanket- one that she remembered well, and made her red face turn far deeper in shade than the tomato's used to make the snacks before her. "Is it really okay if I have some? It looks really tasty to me. I don't see why you're putting your own cooking down..." Taking a seat on the blanket she took another breath to try to relax her flushing, before turning to look up at the Felis alongside them. "Kaede's right! Food time is more fun with friends. And...Considering she didn't plan it, there's more than enough for three people." It wasn't like they'd planned a date anyway, right? "There sure are a lot of people here now though. It was almost deserted when I got here..." @Kaede Hoshi | @Vina Skysong
Vina took note of how, even while she was talking with the Faerin, the beach quickly seemed to become quite a lot busier. Somewhat surprising, since while Vina had come here because she was travelling and Kaede and Harveste had apparently come here because Kaede had stumbled upon the beach by pure accident and had told Harveste about it, it technically was still autumn, so the white-haired Felis wouldn't have expected many others to join in. However it wasn't like that was any real issue: the more the merrier after all, so for Vina this was more a pleasant surprise than anything else, especially since she saw several people she hadn't met before so it was also an opportunity to make new friends. In response to @Harveste's explanation Vina nodded, her tail swishing behind her as she giggled. "It's always fun to surprise friends, isn't it? Especially with pleasant surprises, since they tend to get so awfully embarrassed but pleased at the same time." For Vina springing pleasant surprises on your friends was about par for the course, since with her playful nature she did love it when she managed to make someone blush or maybe just react like they weren't sure how to react. After all, there was no harm in surprising someone as long as you made the surprise something enjoyable. Unless they happened to be easily shocked... "True, but on the other hand just because it's a public beach doesn't mean I can't be butting in unwanted if you two would prefer to spend your time together, right? But I'm glad you don't think I'm being nosy, since as you said a trip to the beach wouldn't be complete without people having fun together." Considering the fact that in Norway it was usually too cold for a trip to the beach to be a sound idea Vina's opportunities to visit the beach had been restricted to holidays where she and her family visited other countries, at least until she moved to the USA. Vina reached up and traced the outline of one of her own Felis ears as Harveste mentioned that Kaede's ears were much more impressive, the white-haired Felis arching her back a bit as she fiddled with the long furred ear. "Oh yes, Yladians have very impressive ears. When I was making this character I thought about going Yladian, but instead I ended up as a Felis with ears almost as long and sleek as those of the elves of this world." She laughed softly, nodding again as she let go of her own ear. "But yes, your race seems to fit the concept of a nature sprite very well~ I know we Felis have the tail to set us apart, and our ears are expressive, but it must also be interesting to play a race which is drastically different from the others in size." Vina looked over towards the redhead who was making her way to the shore even as Harveste gave Kaede a worried glance, the white-haired Felis frowning before she relaxed as she saw that Kaede had resurfaced and was making her way to the safety of the shore. She didn't know what Kaede had been doing, but it seemed like they wouldn't need to interrupt the enjoyment of their beach party with having to save someone from drowning. She followed Harveste at a slower pace as the Faerin rushed towards the Yladian, Vina's smile turning a bit more devious as she saw the two hugging. Vina may be lacking in evil intent, but she certainly wasn't without her mischief, and seeing the two acting so intimately before they remembered she was here made her ears twitch while her eyes glinted. When @Kaede Hoshi backed off from the embrace and Harveste introduced her Vina smiled, leaning forwards a bit as she looked at the two girls. "It's a pleasure to meet you Kaede. I happened to come across this place. Although I don't think you should worry about whether you should have come or not Harveste... Looking at Kaede's blush I think it's clear what her feelings are towards you being so thoughtful as to show up~" She placed a finger on her lips and winked, then laughed softly. "Don't worry Kaede, it's not like these people showed up expecting not only a nice beach but delicious snacks as well~ Of course if you want to be prepared you can make more next time, but no need to second-guess too much. And I'm sure your cooking is wonderful." She blinked as she saw that Kaede had gone through the trouble of shaping the sandwiches into sandals, although she was somewhat distracted when she saw that Harveste was blushing rather intensely while staring at... the blanket. It might be because Vina's mind was usually in the gutter, or because she had seen how the two had greeted one another, but Vina thought she had a decent idea of why Harveste might be flustered by the sight of the blanket of all things... Humming Vina said nothing about the subject, just giving Harveste a mischievous and knowing smile before she nodded and sat down on an empty spot on the edge of the blanket, grabbing one of the sandwiches as her tail happily swished and wagged behind her, the long white appendage appearing to almost glow in the bright sun. "Many thanks for letting me join you. And maybe they noticed that the two of you were having fun here and decided to take advantage of the opportunity of it being such a nice day, even in the middle of autumn." She took a bit of the sandwich, letting out a happy sound as she finished the bite and swallowed it before immediately complimenting it. "This is really good cooking Kaede! Makes me even happier that I encountered the beach today of all days." Being the only one not blushing wasn't exactly a strange thing for Vina, although usually she was the cause instead of just an innocent bystander. Nevertheless she enjoyed the sight nearly as much as always, smiling brightly at both Kaede and Harveste. "So, since we can't play while eating we might as well talk. Can I ask where the two of you got your swimsuits? They're very cute~" They were of a distinctly different design from Vina's own, since hers was rather simplistic to cover her intimate regions whereas theirs had frills and the like.
