  1. That also explained a lot about her parents. While it was sweet that they are open-minded as long her studies were good, he felt that they weren't aware of their daughter's strange behavior. It also didn't help when she mentioned about meta-knowledge as he had no idea what that even means.

    Either way, he sighed in dismay just as he started to speak once more. "Well, you haven't played any kind of virtual reality games before the DVRS? Because this game may be too intense even for you." It wasn't much warning, but he needed to make one before @Seigi can do anything in Terrasphere.

  2. "DVRS?" Seigi had never heard of that term! "Dazzled Vulture Roaring Squawk?! Sounds great!" Seigi nodded. That was settled.

    "I did play a bunch of VRMMOS! BUT going ahead and saying too intense?" The young hero looked seriously hurt at @Verity upon hearing those words from Verity! "I'd say the bigger the mountain the harder I'd climb BUT I'm always climbing my hardest, thus I deserve the biggest of all mountains!" It was kind of a weird...metaphor? But served its purpose! Regardless, Seigi was sticking out her chest in pride upon saying something so smart. Clearly, she deserved praise!

  3. Verity just simply facepalmed at this point. Clearly, this young woman wasn't aware of the current news. "It stands for 'Department of Virtual Regulation and Safety'. They the ones who put strict regulations on any virtual reality-related games and applications. Because of the rumors regarding this game, they several PSAs about this game and judging by Terrasphere's secrecy, this might be too dangerous than the ones you played before."

    Though after seeing her determination, he was a little impressed with how @Seigi was able to play this game despite the mysteries behind its creation. "If you are willing to play this game, will you at least try to listen to my advice from time to time?"

  4. "Dangerous? What's supposed to be dangerous about this?" Seigi thought really hard for a second. "Dazzled Vulture Roaring Squark sounds way better! Anyways, danger? You mean the pain? That's part of the fun, no? Not that I'm into this stuff! BUT what doesn't kill you only makes you stronger. And as a hero I gotta be reaaalll strong, y'know." Seigi nodded to herself once again, already having forgotten that she decided to turn @Verity into 'her trainee'.

    "I got this game from a friend! And I don't mind talking to you but I can't promise I'll follow whatever 'advice' you're thinking of giving me!" It was maybe really mean from Seigi to think this but the young girl was very confident that there was not much she could learn from Verity at this point!

  5. Guess there was no point in convincing this overactive player with facts and dangers of this world. But at least she was willing to listen to his advice (despite she warned him that she won't follow them for obvious reasons). "First off, I suggest you have to be careful around NPCs around here. I'm aware you ran into some rude players in your previous games, but there are some NPCs that are willing to trick you even outside the events." He already had that experience before and another reason behind his personality changes.

    "Besides, there are some quests and events that can be... unexpected to say the least..." Sure, there were announcements about them, but he felt it would be best if being cautious might be only to expect dangers from a sudden event.

    @Seigi

  6. "Villainous NPCs are nothing new! I will serve them justice all the same. That said, however, I'd like to believe nobody has reasons to fool, and lie, to me. So I give everyone the same chances regardless of how ridiculous their.... story... is. It's only fair!" Ah such pure and innocent ideals. Right now, right here. Verity could basically tell her anything he wanted, no? Seigi thought for a second before adding a great idea!

    "Hmm. I'd really like to experience those quests and events first hand BUT since you're so genuinely caring I give you this one and super rare chance to give me an actual example!" Now to see what Verity was actually afraid of when it came to these events!

    @Verity

  7. He can't tell if she made a good point or not. Still, he felt that whether if she be cautious to the NPCs or not, it may depend on her strength and luck to get out of her future situations. He just hoped that she won't do anything reckless involving with them.

    As for the events, he would say about his encounter with the bandits that caused him to drink that strange potion. But he rather kept it a secret as he felt someone even for her would slip out the information about it. "Well, I don't know if you joined this game before this one, but I did participate in a battle against some kind of a huge fire elemental."
