Private - Beauty and...

  1. The closer they got to Dormont and the castle, it became apparent much of the city walls out in the distance had been damaged quite well since the war and unfortunately there wasn't the resources, time or manpower to repair it. Instead Castle Dormont was put under repairs and even those repairs wern't even finished yet. Vivian took notice of this, looking back at him, Seto shrugged in response, he wasn't sure exactly what she was expecting. Maybe all the walls destroyed? A large crater? It didn't matter, the only thing that mattered was the destruction left behind the war that killed thousands and destroyed much.

He wondered what Vivian was thinking of, she gave him a faint smile akin to a smirk but that couldn't hide deep thought, something he did far too often. Vivian performed off the silent treatment well, whatever she was thinkinging of, it had to be a complex matter surely. He tilted his head in the other direction, looking into the farmland outside the city walls, he wasn't shocked the ground still wasn't fertile, the war made sure of that. At least the outer walls was still populated with life as the farms and citizens went about their daily routine. As he tilted his head back over, the two decided to walk once down the cobblestone path that lead to the front gates of Dormont, it was than she broke the silence and asked what was his motivation in life...well in Terrasphere anyway.

That was quite the serious question she was asking and a rare one on top of that, most just considered him a pure evil bastard whom was power hungry and perhaps in some light there was truth but at the same time they couldn't be more wrong. If he told a person of his real plans for Terrasphere than the possibility of his grand plan could collapse, something he would have. Vivian hadn't known him for very long but she was able to pick up he had no intentions of being some tryannical warlord. Rubbing his chin with the palm of his hand, he spoke up, perhaps he could enlighten her, either that or she just think he's some crazy bastard like his teacher was.

"Hmph....Now that's a question am rarly asked and fewer even understand the answer I give, what is it I desire you say? I don't expect most people, If anyone to understand my motive but I can at least attempt to educate you my Apprentice...

In a way, I wish to make a difference in this world where as in the real world I have failed despite my attempts.

This world....This world is corrupted and twisted just like in the real world, I shall destroy such a twisted place and drag the darkness into the light using it's own power against it.....I will
make this world reborn anew, free of it's taint and the horrible natures of humanity. World domination is not what I seek or Astor's dead corpse would be under my foot by now along with his cat mistress.

Unlike everyone else here who are idotic first world citizens who have never truely struggled or seen the worst of humanity, I have first hand. I have seen war and all it's sides, I've seen what it creates in it's wake, famine, mass death, destruction, pillaging, rape etc I have seen it all first hand being a soldier. I know the realities of the world better than anyone else in this world, I've seen entire cities destroyed and almost completely lost of life. War is not about being an Hero or doing things that please you no matter whether it's a game or not.

I will do whatever is necessary to stop this from happening here as well for this place can be a paradise If allowed to blossum. If I must be a necessary evil than so be it. The world is what you make of it, some take this place for grandit and act like fools in a game, I take this place as seriously as the real world even If it's all programming.

Does that answer your question? Or perhaps you see me now as some crazy man now? It matters not."

  2. "No," to his question. She did not think him mad, she found his mind to be beautiful. For the first time in this game, Vivian took a step back and look at her surroundings. Take away the lust in her mind, take away the power hungry urges she felt in a digital world where she thought power was the only beauty. Take away the models of all the buildings and the scenery, take away the models of the humans who play the game. What is left? A soul. A mind. Each one different than the next but they were all humans inside and out.

Vivian looked at him and gave another faint smile, "I don't find you a madman, or crazy. You spoke from your heart. You have a beautiful mind, Seto. I wish to do everything in my power to make your dream a reality here. I hope to be standing next to you when that time comes and not your opposition." She mused quietly, she could be easily run over by that massive odachi on his back. His skill with the sword dwarfed all the power she had in her body according the game mechanics. And she was ok with that, she had something to aspire to thanks to players like Seto and Lucia. They drove her to be better, stronger willed.

"I have already pledged my fealty to you. So there is no going back on my word. If darkness is what is needed to bring glory, then darkness it shall be. Besides," the woman tapped her chin lightly as she stood in place thinking about something, "When light gives way to the darkness, things are born anew. When the sun rises, what is created is from that darkness is in the light. So in a way...Darkness is the creation of all beautiful things."

Vivian continued to move along side her Lord Duke, towards castle Dormont. Her eyes were on the complex yet exposed structure of the shell of the castle. It was horrible to see such a once profound structure torn by the evils of war. Her eyes rolled side to side looking at the emptiness of the land. She bit her lower lip and her gaze fell towards the ground as she walked lightly. What was this odd feeling? Sympathy? She made a light noise and ran her fingers through her hair, moving it away from her shoulder. These feelings would get her killed. She erected herself, chest out and walked with her chin high. No time to be soft not when a war needed to be won.
