  1. Alpha's eyes glimmered as @Eldhi tried to leave. She reached over and attached herself to Eldhi's waist in an unbreakable, suffocating grip as she nuzzled her head at Eldhi's side. The affectionate display was, however, for a much more sinister and manipulative reason that what would be expected from the innocent act. "C'mon Eldhi; another round? Pwetty pwease?"

Alpha looked around and stared at @Cain Darlite and @Seigi with wide, adoring puppy-dog eyes. Water brimmed at the sides of her eyes and her lip was stuck in a small, begging pout. "Just one more round?"

Alphabet Chocolate always got what she wanted.

  2. With a thunderous blow, the mascot was struck down, and Cain slowed his casting, until the full-party attack buff dissolved alongside his flagpole. With their combined assault, a reckless stream of powerful strikes brought Trinity down, and Cain turned to Seigi. Magically lacing his words, the midnight-haired muse said, “Not bad work for your first time, Seigi. And don’t worry too much about the Reckless thing. If the Tanks do their work, the backlash of consecutively unleashing such powerful strikes won’t be a problem at all.”

Was it just a ‘warning’ shot from Eldhi, what with the Justicar and the Sage’s differing views on the execution of justice and law? The very fact that she had not bothered with a taunt during that last exchange tipped the muse off as something strange, but, well, nothing came out of it, and sooner or later, the heroic fister was back in tip top condition. Rolling his shoulders, Cain looked at the rest of them, from Eldhi being totally down for just booking it back to her gothic mansion to Alphabet being totally down for going for another round or seven.

“Well, with this being practice and all,” Cain grinned, “Why not see how far we can get? All in all out, I say! See how much of Trinity’s power we can take on before finally being wiped out! This is a gym, right? We haven't even warmed up properly yet, and there's no gain without pain. What you say, China Girl? Wanna reach for the stars and punch the moon?”

  3. The sudden burst of flames following Trinity's grim reminder had Seigi stop for a split-second. A split-second where she felt her entire being being burned to a crispy Seigi chip. At least, if there was anything positive about this, was that the pain of the tripple-amplified virtual flames were only hurting for a moment before they disappeared. As intense as the pain was it was so short-living that it already seemed like a grim memory.

Even if Trinity was beaten seconds after Seigi got beaten K.O. It was an undeniable fact that, in the battle, she had fallen.

With the battle over and Seigi back into top-form, despite winning, the girl didn't share that much enthusiasm. She played a bunch of games and was aware of the holy trinity. Did... did the tank just fail or was that simply an attack that ignored aggro-mechanics? No. Whatever the case was, Seigi was thinking too deeply into it. She had fun, that was all that mattered. And she was, after all, Seigi Ling Ling. The Hero of Justice. The undefeatable paragon of virtue!

"REMATCH!" With rekindled flames Seigi cried out. "A true hero aims for the hardest of all hard modes!" She declared her intention to go all the way. But... "BUT..." She pointed at @Alphabet Chocolate "A Hero and a Dark Lord can't work together! Your puppy dog eyes are just as ineffective as any amount of unborn children!"

Immediately after making their selection on the menu. The party would find themselves transported to another location. This place like Trinity Center in general, was entirely unlike anything that could be found in Terrasphere. A plane of existence that seemed to only exist for battle and testing ones abilities. The floor was incredibly hard and yet somewhat transparent. All around one could see stars twinkling in a dark sky that expanded endlessly around the arena platform. The digital like lines and glitchy spots were the first true sign that this was, no matter how realistic... just the inner workings of a game. The mascot has taken you here for the practice.

Her body began to swivel a little which in turn led to a swaying motion. Almost as if there was music only Trinity could hear. Her body glowed a gentle blue as her hair began to blow outward almost like wings. A playful smile plastered on her beaming mascot face.

    "Iiiiiiit's game time!"

"Okay Hector. It's time to shine!" Alpha hadn't needed to say a single thing after that as the wolf charged forward, excited for battle. Even though he'd been similar to Terry in appearance (despite the species discrepancy), it seems that the two couldn't have been further apart. While Terry had enjoyed long afternoons nibbling on fish sticks and frolicking in the mud, Hector enjoyed the thrill of the fight. It was refreshing to see the changes and differences between them; it took Alpha's mind off the Mist Wolf Fragment she carried and instead redirected her to their current enemy: Trinity.

"Okie dokie guys, just sit back and watch as Alphabet Chocolate and her awesome partner, Hector, win!" she launched herself towards the fray, reckless and determined with her blade in hand. Without another thought, she reached over and pierced the dagger into Trinity's pixelated flesh. "Awesome job, Hector!"

The wolf gave a proud, haughty grunt in reply.

It twirled in his hands, so much lighter, so much more well-balanced than the exquisite flag he held before, and more than that, it thrummed. The Ivory Reminiscence was a living weapon, resonating with his own magic as Cain found himself on the battlefield once more, facing off against Trinity. She was stronger now, Rank E, and they no longer had Eldhi alongside them, but this was still fine. They were strong. They will manage this.

If they couldn’t, they were just a bunch of weaklings, after all.

Moonlight poured through the elegant engavings within the flagpole as a banner of nightscape twirled within the glowing arena, outshining the tepid blues that formed the cybernetic space. This was removed from the reality of Terrasphere, and this was really only good for becoming accustomed to his new equipment, but…well, what the hell, he was Cain Darlite, Flagbearer of Miracles, Recaller of the Lost. The feral grin found itself on his face as Alphabet leapt into action alongside her wolf, ripping and tearing as excitedly as she always did. This was how it should be, right? The rock and roll beat of his blood vessels burst to life, his lungs sucking in breath as he made a spoken tale into a visual affair.

Orange flame clad Seigi, the short haired hero of justice, as her body pulsated with the master-class attack buff, her heartbeat matching the beat of his song. A tragedy? A farce? No, this was a true fight, a duet between heroes and villains above the starscape.

Fighting somewhere so unnatural was going to be odd. She didn't like the thought of her or her environment being restrained and set into a stable and contained playing field. Fighting in the wilds was a rush, navigating the landscape to keep on the heels of or keep ahead of your prey. Fights were interactive and ever-evolving, the favor of the fight shifting like the wind around them. This place was undeniably different, but it didn't make her skin crawl outright. It was better than fighting indoors though.

It wouldn't do to turn down the excitable rogue's invitation to a risk-free and hopefully fun challenge. Alphabet was an odd one, but she was a good kid and the rogue had called her to fight. Gwyn set her eyes on Trinity with a small smile. "That was a rather peppy commercial the other day, Trinity. Congrats on all the viewers. Try not to interrupt my father's shows though, please, as entertaining as it was."

If she was about to kick the shit out of and get her shit kicked in by said mascot, it only seemed right to be polite about it first. With niceties out of the way, the archer was quick to pull her bow while Alpha rushed in to start the fight off with a bang. She heard their team's support call out into the starry nothing of the sky with a buff for their other teammate, but Gwyn focused past it.

The forceful hit of the eagle-fletched arrow skated across the battlefield toward her target. It'd have been smarter to use the Bleeding or Sunder Shot, but... it felt a little cruel to use the more painful tactics. Safeguards or not, she wasn't used to a fight like this.

Here they were a second time. Though, missing their tank and remembering her 'lesson' from last time, Seigi wasn't all too sure about how this would go. Though the tank girl's replacement seemed super though. Nonetheless, Seigi wasn't too keen on getting nuked like last time.

This time, Seigi seemed a bit more docile, even planning so far ahead to not be as reckless as last time. At least, until suddenly, her entire body was clad in a sort of orange flames. Turning the tamed fire inside her back to its full glory. This time, Seigi was more prepared, even if she were to get hit once death was rather unlikely, no?

Going into a more developed combat stance the young hero dashed forward to close the little bit of distance she had to the digital mascot. "TIGER KNUCKLE FIST!" She yelled out a cringy attack name, her rather weak blows carried by the immense buff of the gentlemen in their group.

Trinity was once again fighting very well developed adventurers! Well, not all of them, but two to three were certainly looking very capable. The mascot took their attacks with a smile as her body took the damage and the sparkling pixelated wounds healed seconds after opening. Her HP did not go back up of course other than from a small regen like effect.

"Hahahaha! You guys barely need this training! You're great!"

Trinity laughed merrily congratulating them as she back stepped a bit. It only seemed that her intro was prerecorded. Everything else reacted in real time like the normal game of Terrasphere.

"You didn't bring a tank you know? Was that a mistake or are you testing out a build? If so, that is totally awesome kay?!"

The mascot wagged a finger right before a sudden twirl. It turned into a rushing swing of her arm at Alphabet Chocolate! A blue wave mimicking almost a sword like slash accompanied it!

"Remember reckless attacks are dangerous and leave you open to damage! Kay, ABC?!"

    "Wowee, you hit hard,"
Alpha grinned, wiping a bead of sweat from her forehead from the attack. It went through without a hitch and it hurt tremendously but it was nothing compared to the pain she went through before. This, in fact, seemed somewhat...fun. A lighthearted duel that warmed Alpha's very core without fear of the prospect of death and the like. She gestured Hector over, the wolf grudgingly obliging only by the skin of his teeth, and readied another full-frontal attack.

"Still, no worries bout danger if you'd be finished first, you know?"
she grinned. She shrugged off most of her wounds as she readied another attack. "This is gonna be my first fight with Hector and it'd be really embarrassing if that attack took me down in front of the great Sherdock Bones and the muscled...er, whatshername, and the great Arine Deadler!"

She charged forward, winking at Hector. "After this I'm gonna put you in a kennel if you don't step up, boy," she joked. Hector gave an angry little bark in return as his fangs sunk into Trinity. She gave a little wave to Gwyn. "Oh and you! Weren't you there in that tournament thingy...uh...whateves!" she shouted as she plunged her blade back to where it belonged, buried in her enemies.

With three damage specialists unleashing their most potent attacks upon Trinity, recklessly raining round after round upon the mascot’s digital form, Cain similarly pressed the advantage as well. Untouched in the backline, the muse’s voice continued to resonate through the battlefield, that the amber blaze of heroism blossoming outwards from Gwyn’s form. The Ignition Trinity was close to completion, two bonfires within the cold warzone, and Cain grinned, his ivory flagpole twirling rhythmically as aggressive beats slung out to the rapid-fire strikes of Alphabet Chocolate’s beloved blades. This was indeed a lighter fight. No fear of death. No bullshit AOEs. No starting off at near-death levels of HP. Just spell-slinging and trash-talking.

“Got it right, Trinity,” the midnight haired muse replied, grinning, “This is the new meta now! No tanks, just triple DPS spamming reckless attacks while a support extends their lifespan with focused heals! Now, my blazing angels of retribution, full attack!”

Rather dramatically, the air around him pulsated, his dark mane rising as magical power permeated the atmosphere. Like a master duelist, he swung his hand out forwards towards the turquoise avatar, as another salvo of fists, blades, and arrows were launched towards Trinity. Between Gwyn, She Who Draws Lightning and Unleashes Thunder, and Seigi, the Sunrise Sage of Seven Extremities, there was no doubt in mind that this will be the turn to finish it! He won’t even NEED his full magical array this time around!

“Banish her from this realm! Obliterate!”

    Damage Buff: 2 Rounds Remaining

It was bizarre to fight and find herself laughing again, like the days when she had first joined the game. When everything was a new experience and a blinding rush. Fights and hunts were nothing more than pure fun for the sheer thrill. Everything in the core of her ached for it. She couldn't rewind time, but in this odd place that didn't feel like coming home... she could still find an echo of it here.

Alpha had taken a hit and shook it off as well as the bright and brilliant mascot while the rest of them danced about to let loose their attacks. Cain's speech picked up again over the calm sounds so unlike the waging of war. Sparring, Gwyn. This was sparring. A test for the sake of fun and furtherment. Training. It soothed her as she loosed her next shot, bolstered by their maestro's voice.

This wasn't a real fight and she didn't have to worry and she didn't have to hate and when she bared her teeth it was a light smile at his exaggerated words and not a threat towards Trinity.

She... she could definitely do this more. She could see the appeal in wasting time with the peppy girl in white and blue and a smattering of people not quite friends, but acceptable company nonetheless. "Almost sad this is so close to over already, Trinity! I'll have to come back until you finally get to let loose some, huh?"

Their attacks connected. Alpha took a beating in return, yet was still standing. Things were going well. It was only a question of time until Trinity would, once again, be defeated.

The small heroine could only recall fragments of what had happened to her last time, as the sensation of pain had been way too short, even if Trinity's warning was still rather fresh in her head. Maybe it wasn't enough of a lesson. Maybe Cain's burning fire didn't let her think straight or maybe Seigi was simply wired 'All in or nothing.'

Whatever the reason was, it didn't matter. Her first punches having served as warm-up she was now fully committed. Seigi's guts were telling her. She would bring victory home. She knew for certain. All it took was "...Guts and Effort."

"HEART OF A HERO. THE BURNING OF YOUTH. THE HEAT OF A MAIDEN!"
Punching her fists together, the orange flaming buff around her only burned fiercer as she started to dash forward and grab Trinity, who seemed rather busy with Alphabet and the Woof, from behind. "SUPER ULTRA JUSTICE SUPLEX OVERDRIVE!!!!"

Seigi, powered by Cain, didn't even have time to think about if Trinity was heavy or not as the world turned upside-down as she suplexed the digital mascot girl with a loud crash. Yeah. This was it. Definitely. Locked in position Seigi laughed a bit before she started humming a certain victory theme.

Maybe it was the time she turned this... move... into an actual skill.

As Trinity's HP meter hit zero and her bar vanished immediately refilling again. She clapped her hands merrily as she jumped up and down with her legs bending behind her in a over exaggerated manner.

"Very good! Go team! Welp, this was nothing for you guys huh? Alrighty, you guys get props for victory and a gift from me, Trinity, your mascot! Are you feeling excited?!"

The mascot continued to applaud and speak as if she was going through a pre-programmed instance. The party would see a mysterious point appear in the corner of their UI. Trinity said nothing about what these were. Then a loot message popped up.
