Private - Alchemy Princess In The Big City

It was pretty dark. Actually let's make that super dark! It stunk too. Kinda hard to breathe. Where was she? Meruru last remembered being in the basement of Castle Blanch. She was looking around for any clues to what was going on with people. Why everything was so.... well fake feeling? Like everyone had turned into a puppet or something. It was terrifying to say the least. How every day was playing out exactly the same like she was stuck in a time loop or whatever. The girl stood up and looked around. Yep still too dark to see. Moving her hands out in front of her she felt around for something, anything to tell her where she was. eventually she found something. Yay, a doorknob! She turned it and opened the door with a loud creak. Immediately bright light flooded her eyes making her squint instinctively. Blinking a few times she stepped out into a alley. What was this place?

She looked down the street and saw that it led to what looked like a slum, or at least a very old town. Looking the other way was a long road that was blocked by a fence. Stepping out she heard the door slam behind her. It made her jump. Woah how did she even come from there? How did she get here at all? Meruru turned and looked up as she stepped back a few paces. It was large warehouse or something. Well at least she was out of there but hopefully it was not from the boiling pot into the fire! She walked down the alley and upon exiting she saw she was actually in a city. A pretty big one! Wow, the heck? There were other big cities than Blanch! This was awesome! Putting the worries of how and why behind her, Meruru began to explore.

A few people that looked down on their luck gave her glances that proved this was not the safest place to be. The princess would not be deterred from asking them questions though. She quickly learned that this was a place called Stokbon and it was known as a Holy City! Hmmm, Blanch was never considered holy or anything so that was new. She was often asked about her crown but she laughed it off by saying it was just her hat's unique look. She did not want anyone to think she was royalty and try to take her back. In fact it was interesting how the people here seemed less predictable than the castle workers and her family. Was it because she just arrived and this was a new place, or was it because it was exclusive to her home? Meruru was not sure.

She would head to the city's main district next! Who knows who see might meet or what adventure she might find! Meruru was free!

 

OOC: This one gonna be short for now

Gulping down some golden ale called golden monkey, laid Seto at on a bar stool outside of the RedHare Tavern, a region famous tavern located here in stokbon's center district. It was a tad different different with it's architecture then most of the other buildings in the district with it's cruciform shape many pillars and support arches holding up it's many vaulted ceiling and flygin buttress. No one quite knew the origins of this building as it destroyed and rebuilt many times over again until eventually the city decided it wasn't worth the resources anymore so an old noble bought the rights to the lands, converted it into a tavern and a brewery, creating some different not seen before. Despite it's atmostphere and diversity some people were detered by the building's old looks, the the ancient gargoyles that acted as guardians also detered some potenial vistors away although to Seto, he didn't care for that if it meant he could get good ale after a hard mission like the one he just performed.

It had only been a few hours or so since the Stokbon noble, Lord Burren was silenced, well honestly he was murdered by a certain someone but that certain someone didn't leave a trail of bodies or a pile of ashes behind him this time, nope instead his so called wife did it. That firery redhead acted more cold blooded than him when she killed him, she definetly took her time enjoying that kill. After that mess, it was time to relax and kick back a bit before he return to base for certain activities he was required to do, for not it was time to relax being his non vile side, just plain ol Seto. Glancing over the barley filled jug, he picked up the jug and chugged what remained in the jug before burping out loud. He leaned over the bar slightly, that was good he thought to himself but that was just the beginng, now it was time for round two. He hadn't eaten either so some food would do him some good since alcohol made him hungary usually in the long run, he remembered they served their famous crab fries here and that sounded good right about now so....
Peeking his head further over the bar, he raised his hand and yelled out for the waitress down the bar serving someone else

"Hey when your done serving that person, can I get another draft of Golden Monkey and a bowl of crab fries down here? am dying of thirst and hungar down here!"
