They had lost the wall but everyone still stuck around to help hold that angel back it was a wondrous feeling for him. He had doubted that most of them would stay and was true of the belief that he would have to try and hold back this monster by himself. However, none of them left they took a stand together to hold the creature, fling assault after assault at the beast be it with the magic of ranged melee attack they didn’t let up. Even that tanks got involved holding the creature back at bay using their own bodies to buy everyone else a bit more time. There was nothing to do but feel a sense of comradery with everyone there. However, he couldn’t let the soldiers outshine the general in this instance it would be a morale killer. Grabbing his bow and reaching for the heavy arrows from his quiver the amour punchers.

They would be able to get through normal amour so it should add some extra damage to the creature. So he started to breathe inhaling and exhale taking in as much air as possible steadying his heart beat. Each shot needed to be made with precision and purpose, if there was no purpose then the arrow would not find its mark. So he drew the arrow back on the inhale and released on the exhale. He had meet better archers during his time in Terra but it was now time to start to join their ranks. Each arrow left his bow on a few seconds after the other striking true.

There were no words he could use to try and inspire them to keep moving forward each and every person knew what was at stake and they would be damned if it was going to come to pass.

Emerath had been fading, and he was pretty sure he was hallucinating as he watched a creature emerge from the statue. A giant angelic creature, similar to that of the statue. It had torn down the wall. His team had lost. Emerath's vision grew cloudy, to the point that he couldn't even pull the lever of his ballista anymore.

And then he started to hear a lovely song. It filled his ears, and the ringing in his head faded away. And then suddenly he was filled with a warm light, and he snapped awake, sucking in air, only to see a woman next to him. He blinked, still feeling very weary, but having a bit more vigor than before. "Did you... did you save me?" he asked, knowing full well the answer. He gave a heavy sigh, and pushed himself from the ballista, and on still shaky legs gave the woman a hug. He had no idea who she was, and in that moment, he didn't care.

He pushed himself away from her, and said, "I'm sorry. I didn't think just saying thank you would work there." And then he turned to the angel. It had been real, and not just a fever dream of his dying mind. "We have to kill that thing..." he said, matter of factly, to the woman. His mind wasn't fully working yet. But he needed to think of something.

Finally, he tried to get his body moving, and he picked up one of the large ballista bolts. "I'm going to do something a little crazy, but not as crazy as the first thought that ran through my head. Thank you again!" Emerath said to the woman, as he ran off, the bolt in tow, towards the Angelic Hatchling attacking the team. As he got close enough, he wedged the bolt into the stones, and the point and his momentum thrust him into the air, as he went flying.

"If I'm going to die, I'm going to have a blast doing it!" he cried as he flew through the air, before readying a flying punch. He connected, smashing the creature in the side of the jaw, before he went flying back down in the other direction. He hit the ground with a hard smash, as he lost his footing and rolled, not really having thought through how he was going to land that. But it didn't matter. He was alive, more alive than he had ever felt before. And he had just punched a giant monster in the face. Today was a good day.

The wicked trumpet of end times shrieked out from behind the austere, cracked lips of a newborn monstrosity. Angelic in visage, the sound that emanated from within was anything but as it ripped through the minds and hearts of men, indiscriminate of their allegiance.

The walls shivered and creaked as the sound pulsated through them once, and the legion of failures that stood toe to toe with Kijin writhed in atonement for their inability to see the job to its end. Falderen soldiers slinked to their knees and clutched their heads, howling in horror as the mind-numbing sound ate away at their paycheck.

Their ruined bodies sloughed away like dead skin as Southwatch fell under attack once more. Pyres raged skyward as ordinance charred and concussed the line, and Kijin remained cowed by the sheer magnitude of the demolitions.

The wall fell despite his best efforts, and yet, the game had given him all he asked for and more.

All the damage dealt to him remained. The constant pain in his body burned like a wildfire, and he managed to find his footing again only after the dust cleared.

The creature he saw beyond the flames was putrid. It mocked the light with its very existence, an abomination to all things that drew breath around it.

But Kijin needed a moment before he could rise to his full height and take the brunt of this beast's blows. He had to rely on the skills of his allies, those who were already in the midst of combat with the creature, to assure that victory would be theirs.

He limped forward as the small band of resistance fighters threw their best at it, and he hefted his katana from his shoulder.

"You've all done well to hold this long," he praised, his voice hoarse and rasping, "just a bit longer, then you can rest. Those of you who can, hold the line with me-

    This day is ours."

_____When Kaede got wind of an angel showing up on the battlefield she would be a fool not to rush over there to see it. But as she stood at the wall remains catching her breath and looking at the ‘angel’ she growled loudly, her hopes crushed and causing her to not exactly be in the best of moods for such. Waving open her UI to retrieve her sword before calmly inhaling to lower her anger and rushing into the fight with weapon drawn. She fully planned to destroy the false angel, even if she had to use her own hands to rip it apart.

_____Her mouth slowly moving to chime her chant for the first attack, sparks tracing her sword as she built up the energy into the spell and slid to a halt throwing her sword into the sky as Lightning shot off from seemingly nowhere to the weapon’s tip forming a small ball of green lighting. Hand waving as sword matched the movement aiming the spell and spiraling towards the creature. Her lips already moving for her second cast of the same spell. By the connection of the first shot Kaede would send a second blast of green lighting.

    skill
    Thunder sphere x2

_____Her second shot not connecting as much as the first but anything was worth the energy if she could even clip her targets. Blade falling back into her hand as she took some steps backwards and moved the weapon to her center as she got ready for another spell while she had the chance. Looking to those around her who looked worse for wear still fighting helping her iron her resolve to get this fight finished so they could all rest, maybe she could even find a girl who needed some ‘extra’ attention.

”Locked in gust of torment, static energy bonding into rays of pure destruction, winds howling in the wake of the pure energy cannon of destruction…” Her chanting dialing down in volume as she stepped back some more, her body starting to send lighting everyone around her as she charged up her strongest Aeromancy spell in her knowledge.

"Now damn it, that stings! Has this lovely... err creepy little... err gigantic angel broken her nail so painful that she had to shriek SO LOUD?!"

Bradwynne covered his ears, but the sound emanating from the former statue could scarcely be squelched by his hands. The wall that they had been trying to protect crumbled down with just a song, and the enemy troops started to pour towards the capital. Maybe they had done their part, they had failed, but it should not stop here. There was still the unfinished business of the statue, which became a huge creature, and it would do everyone injustice if they would stop everything, leave everything behind and let the monstrosity strike wherever it wanted. At least they should clean up the mess that happened due to their fault.

He then dashed towards the half-statue, half-angel, his katana having returned to its sheath. He then took note of the partition between the moving parts and the stationary parts as he jumped up to reach it, and then delivered numerous slashes on it. He then moved towards the other side and did the same thing. Then he moved back to see the future developments of what he did. He thought what should happen was the creature could never use its lower body so that it might be easier to deal with it later.

  2. Cancer spilled from her mouth with urgency. A low hushed tone from her lips as she breathed hate into the air. A whisper from her lips sent the carriers of doom. Her spell circle ignited once more, rotating around and around burrowing into the ground reaching deep into the foundation. She drew upon powers that she did not know, powers she did and powers that were not of this world. Her fingers bent, her lips snarled and purple liquid oozed from her mouth as she spout her chanting spell.

The world beyond her eyes seemed to flash of red and white behind violet engulfed eyes. She pressed on with her whispering chant, calling upon the world to bleed itself if only to lend her more power. Her feet steady upon the spell circle, arms circled and formed shapes of energy to circulate around her body. Once more she pulled from the very core of the earth to bring about this strange and bold power. Her sense of right and wrong waned as she laughed to herself gathering this energy.

With a small wail of her voice, the powers gathered from her finger tips once more spurred into the air. A source of energy that tethered at the door of her own essence. She would pour her own life into just to make this abomination pay for hurting her and her ally. She would not give up now. She would not give up later. A sense of duty? A sense of life and light? She smeared the ideas and set out to cast her most devious of plights. She’ll bring that damned Angel to the ground.

Vivian’s spell had consumed the better part of her energy pools. The wisps of darkness that had tangled into the air towards the abomination statue only seemed to cover parts of its face with a substance unfamiliar to this world. She was brought to one knee, grit her teeth but steadied herself to allow most of her fractured essences to grind down on the statue. Her eyes flashes from purple to azure blue, her focus and spell circle becoming a wild mess as her power fluctuated from high to low. She struggled to breathe as she finally let go.

Her power buzzed with a spark from her fingertips before fizzing out completely. Devoid of the world, the woman fell to both knees and then toppled over by @Lucia Mierz 's feet. Her eyes looked up at the woman, her lips coated with that horrid purple ooze. But she smiled through it all. “I’m…I’m just gonna rest here for a moment…”

Despite feeling pain from the earlier battle, neither Sylpha nor any other fighter on the battlefield had any time to waste. Right now, they were doing a desperate last stand. All the arrows, magic and everything else was flying in the Angel's direction and Sylpha's attacks were no different. The arcane attacks from the Yladian Arcanamancer was still very lacking compared to those from the more accomplished Arcanamancers around.

    Still, every extra bit helps.

Sylpha completed a new spell formation and poured out more arcane energy, sending another beam flying towards the Angel. She didn't even have time to check how effective her spell was; she already started casting the spell again. As long as she wasn't missing the target or striking allied targets, she would not stand out from the crowd.

Balmung was taken by surprise as the next wave of attackers rushed forth, keeping the gargantuan beast occupied, not even allowing it the time to react to the last group's blitz. He was thankful for it, however, as it gave him the chance to catch his breath.

He only just realized how heavy he was breathing, and couldn't comprehend why. Was it the pressure of fighting such an important battle, or was part of this entity's power to affect people this way? He couldn't decide, but took all the time that the current squad's actions could give him to steady his rhythm of inhales and exhales.

He took in the scene around him once. A truly titanic angel-like monster had assaulted the wall and brought it down. The sounds of blades and blunt instruments contacting the thing's flesh and wreaking havoc upon it rang through the air around him. Arrows and blasts of magics of all varieties zinged through the air to plunk and hiss into this creature. All around, the player's were battling their hearts out to prove that this was their homeland and where they belonged.

As Balmung finally caught his breath, the latest assault wave was falling back. He joined the new group that flooded forward, descending on the mighty entity from all directions. He was filled with relief as he noticed a change in this foul devil's health meter for the first time. It filled him with zeal as he carved three deep channels into its thick hide with his blade.

His sword buzzed with the vibrations of pulling free from the behemoth's flesh. It's metallic chime filled his ears, and it was all the song he needed to give him the resolve to weather through this battle. He was here, alive and breathing, and he would allow no foreign army or their vile machinations to change that fact.

This was scary. Val didn't feel like anything she was doing was having any sort of effect on the giant stone angel. No matter which way she sliced her sword, how she tried to smack it with her shield, nothing was working.

She glared at her weapons, like they were the ones doing something wrong. Logically, she knew it wasn't them. The problem was her.

...Although the fact that her weapons were pretty obviously not high-quality didn't hurt either.

Frustrated, she tried hitting the thing again. This time, it was weak and pathetic, and hardly hurt it at all. Val scowled upon seeing the immaculate stone surface. She wasn't getting anywhere with this!

_____As the last few words of her chant had been spoken Kaede looked at her target as best she could, her body sparking off roughly ten times a second at the area around her and she aimed her sword directly forward at the creature. The weapon turning pure yellow as every bit of energy sparking from Kaede started to strike the blade, her hands shaking from the energy vibration of the weapon and doing everything to keep on her mark. The slight tip of the weapon sending off a loud cracking sound and a liquid beam of lighting.

    skill
    10,000 GigaVolt liquid lightning cannon

_____Anyone with have a brain could tell the magic was a bit out of her reach, the amount of kick back from it causing Kaede to slid across the ground backwards and sparks lashed her frame almost leaving her paralyzed and out of commission by the end of it all. Hands lowering the weapon the moment the beam was finished to look over the creature and still see it standing, her attacking doing little to the total HP it seemed to have causing Kaede to growl loudly. Her strongest aeromancy spell eaten like she eats a girl out, that was not going to stand at all.

_____Slamming her weapon into the earth as she moved to sit down, lips moving quickly as she listed a number of chants in her head and allowed them each to flow out of her lips tagging them together and trying to make one great big spell and not care for the concerns or risk to her body. She would not stop herself and unless she took fatal damage her mind and mouth would keep working on spells and starting to show strain on her frame. Burnt fingers from the beam of lighting twitching as she reach a naturemancy spell. And kept going to Geomancy spells.

With the hatchling began to show signs of cracks and other signs of damage, they almost reach the endgame. Every player in this area kept attacking the angel with all of their strength while some of them including Solaria tried to heal and buff most of the attackers as best as they can.

Verity knew there was no going back. They put most of their strength to defend the capital and he won't let the enemies try to go through the broken wall without a fight. Focusing all of his energy into his sword, the blade began to charge with electricity. And with a big jump, Verity then swung his sword two times as hard as he can to cut down more of the hatchling's defenses and HP.

"Just one more... I pray that nothing else happens..." He muttered once he finished his next attack as he watched the others to fight against the monstrosity right in front of him.

Despite their best efforts the statue didn't give in to destruction too easily. In fact, as the gigantic construct came closer and closer, it came apparent that victory over it was slowly slipping out of their hands. As it now came to a halt the heroine watched in awe as it slowly transformed until...

"!?!? Urgh...!" She refused. She absolutely refused to go on her knees. No. Fucking. Way. In. Hell. She'd kneel. Nonetheless, Seigi's vision went red as blood was pouring out of all her openings. "DAMN IT!" She complained as she swiped over her face before, suddenly, losing balance: ultimately forcing Seigi to fall on her ass.

"Damn it! It hurts. Ithurtsithurts!" She cried out again as the ground below her started to crumble. The wall was about to completely give in and Seigi was on top of it. Not good. Not good at all. Despite all that, however, it was now a fact that the Angelic Woman was now close enough for Seigi to do something else. Something she had secretly looked forward to, as well.

Sure, her Final Judgement one-trick-pony ranged attack spam might have been her strongest attack but that didn't mean she couldn't add on top of it. Getting back on her feet, Seigi had to act quick. It was any second before the Wall below her would crumble in a fashion she couldn't escape from anymore.

Taking an always-carry-around-tinker-rope from her inventory she simply tied it around the Steam-Rocket-Fist and around herself before aiming, once again, at the Angel. Clearly, this plan was 100% safe and smart. "FINAL JUDG- WEEEEEE!" The steam-powered fist shot forward, carrying Seigi along the rope further back.

    Bad idea.
    Bad idea.
    Bad idea.

    No, good idea.

    "Awesome! Woohooo!"

As the steam fist impacted somewhere on the body, and the rope essentially cut loose, the momentum was enough to catapult Seigi further towards the angelic giant. Riding alongside lightning, the human bullet Seigi was aiming right for the Angel's face. Fist-first to deliver "JUSTICE!"

As he waited for the abomination to fall down due to the slashes he dealt on the partition, Bradwynne watched as more people join in the fray on attacking the statue turned half-angel. By their attacks and spells, the abomination looked as if it was only a shadow of what it used to be some hours ago. But still, that partition did not give in. Bradwynne admired the craftsmanship that the mages put into this creature, but it should crumble now before it wreaks havoc to other places.

He then moved again towards the statue, and delivered a good amount of jumping slashes to the partition between the living and nonliving parts of it, and then moved at the opposite side and did the same. Hopefully it would be cut in twain after more hits, Bradwynne thought as he tried to run away from the reach of the statue.
