  1. She had grown to love the vastness of the golden fields of Pormont. She loved the gentle air from the mountainside that wafted through the air of the subtle farmland, and she loved the sounds of animals grazing in the distance as she walked along a fairly simple path.

Because it was such a quiet day to her, compared to recent days at least, Harveste was a bit more lost in thought than usual- and she already had a tendency to be deep in her head, picking her brain for story ideas, trying to study her surroundings at the same time.

It was an old habit of hers: wandering with her mind focused on the sensations she felt, especially in this game where she could actually smell. She tried to describe it with her eyes closed, focusing on the sounds and scents, the cool and gentle breeze-

-And the thud as she fell to the ground, having unconsciously crashed into someone, startled she hadn't heard their footsteps over her inner monologue.

"Ow..." She mumbled awkwardly, peeking up through her violet locks at a man that towered over her in size, musculature quite notable to say the least as well. "Er, sorry, mister. I wasn't quite looking where I was going. Or, well, at anything." She laughed nervously, squirming on the ground to roll over and get onto her feet. Dusting herself off, she spun to look at the man she'd crashed into again.

If she'd had her eyes open, she wouldn't be covered in dirt, but she might be more intimidated by what she considered a giant only a couple feet away now. She was still nervous, of course- he was big and burly, she was tiny and frail and stupidly bumped into him by being so focused on her offline work in game. With a nervous laugh, she scratched her cheek and tried to make small talk to distract him, hoping it would keep her from being in danger.

She couldn't, after all, recognize an NPC from another player quite that easily. "Isn't Pormont nice? I love coming here... The animals seem happy with the maize, and a lot of the farmers let me help out sometimes and play with them. There's not many cattle farms, but... There's enough where I can enjoy some time with the cows. And there's a couple of maize mazes too-"

Crap, now I'm rambling... She could feel her pallor grow lighter, despite the sun beating down to try to burn her flesh. The only part of her that turned a light red was her cheeks, out of sheer embarrassment. "S-Sorry, I start rattling off when I'm nervous, I guess..."

  2. Vartock seen the farmlands of pormont from a distance decided what the heck let's take a stroll to see what nature looks like on this side of the virtual reality. Vartock continued down the dirt path gazing at the animals thinking to himself how lucky they really are. they know nothing of human intelligence they are free to bend at natures will without regret or sorrow.
It's not everyday you get to see living things as elegant as animals unless you count the females of the human race.

The farmland reminded him of so many things like hard work and perseverance goes a long way in creating a life that works for you. Hard work and sacrifice after all was apart of Vartock's life code that he followed with great will. however the breeze of the farmland was nice with the dim light of the sun setting off in the distance it calmed him. Vartock generally felt on edge most of the time but today was feeling rather calm.

As vartock continued walking he felt a small thud hit his rock hard abs as he stopped and blinked then returned his gaze to the front side of his body. Vartock was definitely not expecting to see anybody considering everything that has happened to him already. he gazed upon a tiny little girl on the ground. Vartock staring down at her with a blank expression as he always had and it never changed for anybody, a little girl was no exception.

Normally he would have just brushed this off and ignored her but since he had not met anybody else other than the duke over in brisshal. Vartock figured it was time to see what other players were like. Vartock blushed nervously a little, then looking all serious he glared intently into this girl's eyes as if studying every single curve of her existence. Vartock much like the Scorpio in the real world loved to dive deeply into the mind of the human Psyche to experiment and learn knew things.

" hello little girl, I apologise for not watching where I was going either, it's not everyday I run into a place so serene and beautiful much like yourself, please what is your name? you don't have to be afraid, I will not harm you, that's a promise."

Vartock's expression changed from a blank nothing to a genuine smile as he was eager to find out who this stranger was. Vartock was generally more kind and soft hearted when it came to women and children but men just flat out annoyed him. even to this moment he was still surprised him and seto made friends. either way Vartock is not the kind of person to shun anybody away for no reason. He gives everybody equal treatment until they give him the harshness he is used to dealing with.

  3. She watched him quietly as he stared, her blush not fading though not growing either. Seeing that he had come to be red in the face himself, she actually found the racing of her chest a bit more at ease- she wasn't as scared, seeing he wasn't so calm either, but in the same way she was as well. His stare burrowed into her, however, making her shake awkwardly for a moment with discomfort.

Apparently, her fear was obvious. He made sure to tell her he meant no harm.

"Ah, uh, sorry... When people stare at me, I get nervous, I guess." She'd admit she was afraid from his bulk, but the stare had been what really got to her. In reality, dealing with people wasn't easy for her- and eye contact, or seeing eyes in general, seemed to be harder for her than she'd say.

A timid laugh escaped her as he made what she deemed a mildly flirtatious but well-meaning joke. It was, after all, a compliment- but the way it was worded felt silly to her, clearly an attempt to relax her feeble, frightened form. "I appreciate the compliment, but I'm nothing like the farms. The farms are gentle in nature and good for the soul. I'm essentially just a harvest sprite."

The smile given to her was given right back, though though it was timid even if making her appear a bit brighter. Her small frame fit the childishness of her curious gaze, her hands laced behind her despite knowing etiquette was a virtue. At least in the beginning, she'd keep her hands to herself, even if it was from a handshake to greet him. She didn't deserve it until she introduced herself, after all!

"I'm Harveste. Mind if I ask the same of you? It's not fair if only you know my name, you know." Her words made her giggle, breaking her shell enough to move one of her entangled hands in front of her, held out to shake his when he responded. "It's nice to meet you either way. But still, I wasn't looking at all- I had my eyes closed. So please don't treat it like your fault, okay?"

  4. Vartock gently grabbed her hand with comfort so he could show her to not feel so nervous and then shook it up and down. Vartock only felt nervous at first because it's not everyday a little girl comes running into his crotch in the middle of a dirt road isolated from everything else. Vartock grew a little impatient though as he quickly pulled his hand away in irritable sense. His gaze left her to look at the horses to the right of them behind the fences as he returned a quick glance trying not to scare her anymore then she already was.

Vartock was incredibly good at reading people and could tap into their mind it was a trait of his martial arts. Vartock wanted to remain genuine so that he could appear normal enough not to be afraid. He wanted to prove to her somehow that she could trust her but how?? The thoughts menacingly moved a million miles a second through his mind. His smile faded back to his blank stare, the wind breezing through his dark thick hair down into his face. He took his right hand and brushed his hair back out of his face.

Vartock then thought well let's see if she would like to entertain him the rest of this evening maybe I could hook her with a joke to light up her smoke. Vartock is mostly a physical being I likes to keep things raw and real so that there is nothing hidden. Vartock hates secrets and lies and doesn't care for those who use such actions and childishness in the social environment. however Vartock wasn't going to let this stop him from trying to befriend this girl, comedy was usually the best way to get a girl's attention.

First will introduce myself it is only fair that she knows me as I know here she will be my equal until proven otherwise.

" My name is Vartock, I am a martial artist and I am still very new here but hey, would you like to see something funny? "

before harveste could react, Vartock ran over to the fence where the horses were and hopped over the fence. Then looking back at harveste and smiling a jokingly funny look on his face. turns around and slides his right hand to smack one of the horses as hard as he possibly could on its ass. Before Vartock could react the Horse kicked him square in the dead center of his face launching himself to the ground in pain making more out of it then what it was. Vartock then rolled around on the ground groaning and moaning to lure harveste over to try and help him up. Since she didn't know him at all or the way he jokes he thought this might make her laugh and at the same time help her feel more comfortable around him.

  5. She didn't seem to notice his impatience, but did notice as his stare went from smiling to blank once more. Decidedly she was boring, but that hadn't surprised her much in her life- she thought that too, after all. Watching him when he seemed to be in some sort of trance, she debated asking him a question when he surprisingly got one in before her.

"Something funny? Um, okay." She wasn't sure what he had in mind, but a good laugh surely never hurt.

Thinking that was a bad idea, apparently. She'd assumed it wouldn't hurt, but rather than laughing, she found herself startled and worried, rushing to him and crouching down, trying to peer over his form to see if he was okay.

"You know, you kind of brought it upon yourself... Just because your character has a muscular build doesn't mean you can't be harmed, sir." Smiling faintly, she sang a quiet song, growing a plant she knew was good to bite on to help pain. "Here, eat this. It's got some good analgesic effects. I've used it before... Naturamancy can be pretty handy for healing, even if it's not actually the primary use."

She gave a somewhat goofy smile as she waited for him to take the plant from her hand. "You said you're a martial artist, right? Do you do any offline? I used to take some myself... You forgot a couple steps in attacking anyway, didn't you? You didn't even use a kee-yah- er, battle cry in general. I know it's different in different forms, but... Don't all of them still teach you the power of a cry as you send a blow? Even if you're not intending to cause actual harm, it's important to keep an eye on your form..."

  6. Vartock Moaned and groaned before listening and hearing her speak as he grabbed the flower in struggling. Vartock then rolling over laughing his ass off as the blood from the mark he had upon his face ran blood down it. Cracking up for a good 10 minutes until the pain faded. his face completely went blank once again and he sat up to face harveste and see the sincere and caringness in her eyes. Vartock then held up the plant in the palm of his hand and started to speak.

    img
    Vartock

" Violets are blue roses can be red when you put a flower in my hand they all become dead..
"As Vartock's Malefimancy rotted the flower into ash"
    I appreciate your kindness....
I am sorry but I am not hurt, I figured you would have thought my pain would have brought you laughter as most people have, and you're right it is important to keep my form up, how silly of me maybe more verbal jokes would be to your liking than physical eh?
In the real world I took brazilian jiu jitsu in this world I have learned everything from that to every kind of close combat skill of the martial arts you can think of maybe not all of it but a good lot I could name them off if you'd like?
    "

Vartock felt embarrassed as a he started to blush and look nervously at the ground as he spoke to her unsure of what she'd think of him. He was really that worried now that she didn't laugh that he insulted her in some way. Vartock has a twisted sense of humor he tends to find self harm and harm on others funny if it's not bullying. maybe he figured if she saw he wasn't invincible she slap him a little bit with laughter for making a fool out of himself.

Vartock either way was afraid to show his true self to people knowing what kind of world he lived in within the real world. The world he is from is very judgmental and it's hard to make friends above all else because of the way he is. Vartock shook his head to shake the bad memories out of his head and sat up on his ass and cross his legs pretzel styled. He held up both of his hands out to harveste.

    img
    Vartock

" Place your hands in mine, I wanna show you what my world looks like and why I am different from others...
"Vartock awaited her reply but you could tell from his body language was nervous"
    whenever you are ready "

You could tell it was hard for vartock to socialize due to his weirdness of how he expressed himself. Vartock was hoping not to have frightened her or freaked her out, he was so worried about this it was making his stomach turn.

  7. Like a squirrel, her cheeks puffed in a comical manner, arms crossed around her knees as she kept hovering in her squat, keeping an eye on him and his rather long laughing fit.

"While physical comedy's all good and fun, it's not so funny if it's on purpose, at least to me. I laugh when someone hits their funny bone, but it's less because it's funny and more because I'm relieved it wasn't me- and because I feel bad, and laughing is a common nervous tick in it's own way."

She explained the words with a somewhat deadpan expression- she was blunt, her voice rather sharp as she let each word leave her lips. Her eyes had narrowed slightly, sternly keeping themselves on him despite her anxiety with people. Anger trumped anxiety, it seemed, at least this time.

"Plants are the only way I can heal people, and you're bleeding. If I can't let it touch you, I can't help that either..." She cursed under her breath at the fact. Shaking it off since he seemed mostly fine, she tried to give a smile- but it was forced, clearly, at least for the beginning of the rest of their conversation. "I took some capoiera as a kid... karate and taikwondo too. I don't know what Brazilian jiujitsu is like comparatively, though. I don't have close combat, but if I mixed it with rogue, I bet I could do more capoiera like things than most since I have experience. Though... I'd do better here, since I'm at least a little less clumsy for a change."

Sadly, he wasn't an animal- meaning she couldn't even try to read his mind with the animal empathy she had due to her naturamancy as a bonus. Because of this, she watched when he held his hands out rather blankly, more confused than before, and it showed on her face. She'd never been someone able to hide things, and her face had always proved it, against her better judgement and belief.

Still, she took the hands as asked, head on her shoulder with a questioning gaze. "How exactly do you plan to show me that? Do you have some sort of contact telepathy or something?"

  8. Vartock Smiled as she trusted to touch his hands, his mind thickened with darkness as he smiled at directly gazing in her eyes. Vartock Remained silent and more calm now that he saw what her reaction was. Vartocks eyes locked and concentrated on hers because he loved the idea of studying body language it helped him feel more comfortable. Even if she looked away Vartock thought her reactions to everything he said and did to be adorable. Vartock then cleared his head and took a long and deep breath as he closed his eyes and began to speak. The horses in the pen puzzled and curious as to what these two nutty looking people were doing.

" What I can do is not something that is easy to obtain in real life but it does exist,
In virtual reality it's much easier because the world does not base rules off of its reality
but of course how can you know what is real and what is not simple touches, smells, and seeing things in front of you are nothing more than electrical signals interpreted by your brain to comprehend and read what is in front of you... this ability is something rare thought once I open the third eye I will reveal to you the good and the bad of my past I hope you grow a better understanding
    "

Vartock's third eye open in the center of his forehead showing pure darkness then a flash of light illuminated the whole entire area. Harveste and Vartock stood side by side holding hands in a realm where there was no sound just muffled sounds if anything and bright sunny sky. The world around them seemed loving and pure and full of life as if nothing could touch its precious beauty. Vartock then proceeded to speak with her in that reality.

" what you are seeing is a memory, in this case pertaining to a world I once knew, it was so beautiful and elegant the world as you see it was nothing but just beauty, so what you're seeing is the world I used to see through my eyes and a vision of what was to come."

Vartocks realm began give away the sounds of birds chirping the breeze blowing as harveste and him remained standing in a field of all these beautiful flowers of all kinds. Vartock gazed at her anxiousness to probably run through this giant field of beauty so he ran through the field and turned around 20 feet away and held out his hand. The warm wind blowing his hair across his face.

    img
    Vartock

" It's okay you can come to me this is only a memory, it can't hurt you. "

  9. The direct gaze made her timid smile quiver lightly, an awkward laugh unwarranted yet sounding in her voice, as small as it might have been. More than anything she wanted to voice an apology for her unusual nervous tick - the tick that made her laugh to avoid her own fear, especially when trying to do that supposedly 'normal' thing such as sustaining eye contact when speaking to people. It was easier with some than others to cover up her giggles, but it was harder with strangers such as the man.

Before she could voice her internal woes, the man spoke in what felt like riddles, despite being simply scientific (or somewhat scientific) knowledge about the unusual anomaly that was soon to occur. The golden grains that had once been near towering over her shrank and grew more colorful and vibrant, a meadow making itself in her thoughts but feeling quite similar- though, the scent of the plants seemed to hide from her, showing her ability to imagine them still a bit weary.

"W-Where is this?" She muttered, skin slightly damp from the nervous sweat on her neck. "You said something about memories... Is this a place you've been, Vartock? It's pretty, though somehow it feels really distant..." Her quivering lips turned into a sadder smile- but the anxiety seemed to be slowly melting away like the snow that might have watered these flowers in her mind once before.

Gulping down some air, she ran after him when requested- though she was slower, trying not to tumble as she tripped on flower roots and tried not to step on the blooms. She could recognize some of the plants and debated moving to pick one when she was close enough- giving flowers, after all, was a habit of hers- but she instead merely looked at them with a tepid grin. "You've been nice places. I'm almost afraid to see what comes next."

Still, curiosity dictate she take his hand- and she did, without any notable regret. She was, after all, a naturally intrigued girl. She was a writer, and her goal was to experience everything once in this game- so, didn't this help matters rather fluidly? "Where are we headed? Should I close my eyes? I'm easily scared, so if it's bloody, I'd like some warning..."

  10. [IMG]
Vartock Remained Blank for a moment as Harveste took his hand and they stood as Vartocks memories. The flowers of the meadow flushed the strong smell of flowers and the comforting 60 degree weather of heat in the meadow they stood in seemed all but paradise. Vartock looked down at Harveste with a genuine smile and remained silent as they both began to walk through the endless meadow of flowers. As vartock spoke to harveste, the sounds of his dark deep voices echoed in the dream world they stood in.

    img
    Vartock

" I wanted you to see how beautiful my world was, I have no memories of my parents nor any known siblings, this is the only place I remember before the cataclysmic events took place, but no you do not have to worry sweetheart this is only my memory when I was merely 5 years old.... it's the only warm feeling I have in my heart..."

Vartock, still holding the small petite hand of harveste, began walking towards the wide open field as the sun set in the distance. Then Loud screaming coming from a woman and some children took place from within that farm house, then a large thud hitting the ground where they stood. Then Vartock took his left hand and snapped his fingers for harveste's attention to look up at the sky as everything from that point completely went dark. Pitch blackness filled the whole area as Vartock remained silent looking upwards even though there was nothing there to see. Vartock began to speak with such hesitation hoping not to have scared her too much as he looked down at her. the sky then brightened up with the darkness of space as shooting stars began to drop from the sky.

"I am really just trying to figure you out, it's hard to find a girl that shares your taste in having a family and someday children and it's a dream I have had my whole life, but now you're going to see my world get ripped away as quickly as it was given to me. "

Then the memories changed to a location where Vartock and Harveste were standing on the water's off the coast of a city. A beautiful dark spaced night it seem as if nothing in this world could take away the beauty of this light filled city.

"This is my home, now you're about to see everything I knew and what happened to it, I hope you're a compassionate type"

Vartock thinking to himself maybe he is taking this memory a bit too far with her but he wanted to show her something nobody could ever show her. hopefully if she knew what happened to him, she would open herself up a bit more. Then the night turned to day once more and a flash of light blew as they remained still through the whole entire thing. Vartock clinched her hand tight and assured her she was in no danger.

The city seemed all but gone As the explosion leveled the whole city to nothing but a barren wasteland of a lost forgotten city. Vartock remained blank and still throughout the whole thing as after the explosion landed they woke back up outside in the virtual reality or pormont. The field remained normal and untouched the sky remained sunny and the horses still in the same spot as if time had not passed at all. Vartock took his hands from Harveste and stood up and walked away towards the road they were on. Vartock began speaking-Things from my world are very deep and dark, they carry love only in small pockets of my existence.-

  11. While she stood near him and the darkness came, she wasn't scared, though appreciated that he tried to calm her anyway. It was just being in this mesmerized stupor that had her off kilter- especially when the darkness opened up to show a brilliant sky, far too close to feel as if she weren't just floating on the nighttime air.

To someone who was raised with an unusual view of the world- someone often teased to be alien, even by relatives who claimed to be from another world just to make sense of their own lives- this wasn't a sight of wonder. It was a mixture of homely joy and yet intense horror. She began to clutch his hand as reality began to break in her head. She stayed silent, saying nothing as she tried to fight any vertigo that reached through her skull.

"I don't see how showing me these things helps you find this girl you're looking for, Vartock." She noted, rather blatant and unrelenting in her tone, though meaning no harm at all. "We all have a dream, but those dreams vary. That's natural. And if you want to know if someone's dreams coincide with your own, what you need to do is ask them-"

The dizziness grew, cutting her off, when they were suddenly on water, far enough away from the shoreline to feel unrestricted by the city ahead. Her legs were shaking, eyes focusing forward for a change just to keep her mind steady. "I-Isn't it weird to be walking on water...? Were you on a boat when you saw this city? Is it just missing or something?"

Then, something happened. It was some sort of explosion, ringing in her ears like a siren. She was on the water, which rippled under her feet without letting her fall- but her head was splitting in two. She retracted her hand from the man and covered her ears to silence the sounds that haunted her, trying to claim her sanity all too fast.

And then, it was all gone.

The horses neighed and caught her covered ears- she'd apparently done the same in reality, though the action was far from new to her mind. She felt pain in her head as she had been clenching her eyes, trying to calm and keep herself from forgetting it wasn't real- at least, not anymore.

If those are his memories, it makes sense I felt the headache...But why does it still hurt? She grumbled to herself, turning to pet one of the horses that seemed unusually focused on her. It helped relax her worries over what she'd seen, as she looked behind her with a smile back to the man.

"To share your past is a sign of trust. I appreciate that you would do so. However, you ought to be careful with your method of sharing, Vartock. Many minds are feebler than mind, and mine is quite weak itself. You might break someone even if they know it's only a memory. Memories leave scars after all. Surely those ones are still in your heart because of such scars, you know?"

"Vartock Remained silent at first then Replied with a *sigh* "Its memories like this that keep me awake at night and furthermore do not ever allow me to sleep, you talk as if just because I can keep my composure together on the outside calm that it's easy to keep myself together on the inside, The problem is in moments like that you have zero choices, there is no suicide, there is no way out, once you have already tasted death and came back from it.... Your mind is reborn stronger, reprogramed, and taught that whatever life you have, you cherish it." /text]

Vartock stayed on the road standing stiff as a board, Trying to give her some space so she could take some time to soak it all in. Vartock is a lone wolf only those who can keep up with his complicated life and mind are the ones that are apart of him.

" To answer your question I was in a boat the time that the nuke set off in my home, The government had collapsed the country was at defcon 1. We were living in martial law until russia and China invaded North America, Setting off one nuke as an example to force us to surrender. There were some that surrendered and others like myself who fought the world war 3 but the war lasted for 20 years in my time....I was 5 and yes I was in a boat with the only person I had left that I considered family. "

Vartock turned back to look at harveste, then began walking back towards her, he hopped himself over the fence. He walked over to where she was standing and began petting the horse. Vartock remained calm and blank refusing to show any emotion as he always felt it was for the weak.

    img
    Vartock

"Unfortunately you're right about yourself being weak minded, you are without a doubt a very weak person, but there is nothing wrong with that, You're a young lady, beautiful and a little stubborn, but you have potential even if you do not see it yourself, everybody has potential to be strong, no matter where you come from or how alien you feel, you always have a home with me, and if you ever need someone, here is where you'll find me "

Vartock took his right hand and grabbed harvestes's left hand and placed her hand on the left side of his chest where she could feel his heartbeat right through his chest. He wanted her to feel his heartbeat so it would represent that she had someone she could go to and if she needed love, sex, or whatever he was there.

    img
    Vartock

" Your small but that is exactly why others would underestimate you and that is a strength not a weakness because if they underestimate you then think of how surprised they'd be if you figured out how to use that size of yours to your advantage, I mean you're cute, and beautiful two qualities I don't have you could easily scam somebody just be selling them a fake night with you *vartock cracked up* but that is not who you really are, you're really a person who has great compassion for anybody, people just mistake your kindness for a doormat and they take advantage of that. "

Vartock was feeling pretty good about telling her these things, he was putting it bluntly but he was hoping to fill her mind with some sort of confidence in herself. He gazed into her eyes while his dark eyes fixed on her bright purple eyes. He studied her from top to bottom for a moment but before she could react, he leaned in real fast and kissed her on the cheek right next to her lips as he stared at her eyes back to her mouth.

Then before she could react at all he kissed her on the lips sending a warm feeling through her body. Vartock remained attached to her face as he held his big arms around her gently keeping her warm as he held this kiss in as long as she would allow him too.

  13. "There's always an option. Even if near death, it doesn't make just anyone stronger. It's only those who have the will to become stronger that do. Those filled with fear have their own strength, not always one that grows." She voiced her opinion clearly, speaking from her own experience. She couldn't tell him her own life, not that quickly- she had to study this method, later, to use it on her own.

Her hand being moved to his chest didn't even let her flinch- it was a common feeling to her, the warmth of the heart. She was a bit simple, if not downright disastrous with certain things- including the fact that she had often taken the hand of a stranger to her own chest, to feel her own heart, as a way to share her fearfulness, and occasionally her strength.

She jolted when he kissed her, however. He'd caught her with his words, making it take a moment to process what was happening and push away, with as much strength as she could muster until she was flat on the ground.

"W-What was that for!? You don't just go kissing people randomly! It's scary!" Her eyes glistened with a small set of tears at their corners, her body shivering on the ground. It was warm, but it was uncomfortably so. "I'm sorry if I gave you the wrong idea, but I'm not interested in you that way. A few memories of your past aren't enough to make me feel safe! The past isn't the present, memories of oneself doesn't equate to memories shared in person. A kiss should be with someone you truly love and trust, mister. Please don't do that again. Wait until you find that girl you mentioned. That's who you should be sharing such things with, okay?"

  14. Vartock began Cackling and laughing as loud as he could as he stared at her with a genuine smile. Vartock knew what he was doing and it worked, he knew she didn't like him that way and knew she was gonna get angry. That was the point of why i did this, vartock thought to himself, he brought her defensive and angry side out. He loved seeing people feel uncomfortable as he was used to that his whole life, people especially girls were far into too much sex and religion to care what this man stood for.

" very well you have my word, I will never kiss you again, though by the weeks out i think you will be coming back for more, you may think you do not like me but what I planted in your head just now is going to sting in your mind forever, I told you I wanted a family but living your life and having fun in the meantime never hurt anybody"

Vartock was smiling the whole time he was talking, he felt relieved that she felt uncomfortable because if she had it be too easy. He admire girls with such passion to want what they liked and if that is what he had to do to be with her then so be it.

" You are beautiful and you do not know it yet but you are strong and you have fire in your heart, please forgive me for my rude behavior, I wanted to see if you were easy or not, if I am not your type? how can you know that if you have never tried it before? life is filled with different possibilities you would even surprise yourself.
Vartock took a deep breath and let out another sigh
what ever you are and whatever you want me to be just tell me what it's going to take and I will be that for you even if it means I have to change some things, but every girl has a weakness for something and if doesn't matter how ugly or good looking or intimidating a man looks, if a man is willing to adapt for a girl he likes, then usually most chicks dig that for some reason. but mainly I am just being myself, that kiss was to just make you feel a little better about yourself. "

Vartock wanted to say more on the matter but quickly changed the subject to a different topic.

" how about a joke and a real one this time not a physical one? Knock Knock!!!"

  15. She puffed her cheeks like a squirrel storing nuts, childish eyes glazed with a glare in his general direction. Her anxiety had piqued, so she couldn't quite look at him- but she was able to keep her lips in that pout, eyes darting away to keep her sanity under control. "And I'm certain I won't be asking for one anytime soon, at least not from you. If I want to kiss someone, I'll kiss the person I like, thank you very much." Of course, that was assuming she'd be allowed by them- lately, things had been a little awkward at times in paradise.

"While it's all good and well to have fun, there are some ways you just don't go about teasing people or toying with them. Just because I look like a kid doesn't mean I am one. I'm an adult, I have my own needs, but I also have someone I want to fulfill them with. I don't have interest in things like flings. I have interest in someone special. Just because I admit to tending towards polyamory doesn't mean just anyone would do, you know."

Confident in her words, her hands clutched into fists against her scrawny hips, the redness of her face overshadowed by a seemingly proud smile. She wasn't afraid to admit her tendencies, nor was she afraid to admit she was strongly in love with a woman already. She found a spot near him to sit down, though not too close to him- just enough to show she wasn't totally avoiding him, but was closer to the horses.

"My mom- mind you, we're on bad terms generally- taught me something when I was young that I fairly firmly believe. We're all born for a reason, and for someone. And to me...The only person you should do things like kiss is the person you love. It's fine to play around, but it has no meaning without feelings, does it? Though you're right that what you showed me will sting my mind..." She took a breath before continuing her tirade. "Rather than give me interest in you as a man, it makes me curious about you in regards to how you've grown up. It teaches me why you've trained so hard, but also makes me wonder... wonder why you're playing around when you could be grabbing life by the hand and finding that person to make that family you want to make. Does that make sense?""

His attempt to change the subject made her groan slightly- but she had to admit, a good bad joke never hurt her. In fact, it might help her calm down from the high of anxiety she was riding like a wave, considering she knew it'd lead her to crash and burn.

"Who's there?" She asked with a somewhat fake smile, though there was a glint in her eye showing true curiosity to know the answer. At least he's trying to help clean up the mess he made... And I can't help liking to hear a joke.
