Yo, wassup, Roomba X? I was definitely sweating for a moment there when cat woman turned on us. Did you see me shove all of that gold back into my inventory, holy crap, it was a close own.

And yeah, Phantasmia is the bomb, it can do a lot of cool tricks, want to try a Quinntasy treatment one of these days? The service is on the house.

Also, if you wanted to see it, you could have just asked.

In all seriousness, it's a fragment of crystal from that place, we can weaponize it in the upcoming war and spread crystal gout among the Falderen invaders. Either way, it's currently in the green wagon, which we had to leave behind when we jumped through the portal, it'll probably show up in a day or two... wait... SHIT!!! The war starts tomorrow!!!

However, as interesting that idea could have been, I think losing or leaving it behind is for the best. Worried. The enemy could use it against us, since the crystal infection does not choose targets.

Question. Why are you joining the war happening tomorrow, hedgy? I've been studying magic diligently because it is such an interesting subject, but... I wonder if it's the right thing to use it on others. Worried. I also don't feel very well for using it on the kittywoman, even if she was our enemy.

Haha, the service is totally legit, I swear! Nothing under the table!

But, uuuh, while I like the player nation and all, I've got no interest in player politics. Every single person (well, maybe not everyone) on the continent has a stake in this war, even the various factions around.

I don't actually care about anything other than finding recruiters who will initiate me into their ranks. So the war is like a blood sport initiation where I put my name out there and hope one of those factions notice me.

This game is strangely realistic, so there are many secret organizations out there waiting to be discovered. Can you imagine the kind of knowledge they hold? That's what I want.

Though, you're kinder than you lead on Roomba. Keep close to me during the event, I've got your back if you've got mine.

Sulky. I am not kind. It just happens that magic is a double-cast wonder. Sometimes I fear that power could change my self. But yes, I've got your back, hedgehog!

Thoughtful. I have heard rumours here and there about something similar. Secret magic organizations with ambiguous or unknown goals, yet no one seems to really have any concrete information. Annoyed. It triggers me that they keep so much knowledge to themselves, if that knowledge exists and they really are a secret factions that is.

Genuinely surprised. I am impressed to hear you saying that. Always thought you were the type of person in it for being a hero or for receiving the gold for working as an adventurer. Genuine compliment. Seeing you talk about knowledge makes me realize I have to work harder, hedgehog.

Excited. On a different note, these past few days we had to spend here at the outpost allowed me to find an old grimoire in the basement of the fortress in the mountains. It took me a while to recover it, but it has really valuable information about aeromancy. Excited, mk II. The best thing about is that it appears I have a great synergy with said magic school. Casting aeromancy spells feel completely natural as opposed to using arcanamancy or a mace as a weapon.

Enthusiastic. I will need to buy some magicrafting reagents tomorrow before the war. Would you like to come along? I could introduce you to some really good shops that will offer you some nice discount for being a friend of mine.

Whoa, an Aeromancy grimoire? That sounds like it would have been worth a fortune, damn! I should have spent that time looking for loot too. I mean, I didn't mind that we got some equipment, but I have got a bunch of gold anyways so it's not like gearing up is a problem for me.

Also, if you wanted to go on a date, just say so, you don't have to be shy and skirt around an invitation like that. I wouldn't say no, ya'kno?

But dates aside, what do you think about this war? I don't know about you, but I get this creepy feeling that this world is really real. It kindda feels like we're intruding on them and having huge impacts on their lives? I'm really only coming along became I like you and the green rescue team, but I have doubts about this so called player nation.

Giggly. Creepy feeling? It must be an amusing sight to see you watching terror movies if you think this game gives you the creeps, Quinn. Thoughtful. On the matter of the war, I believe both sides are to blame. Regardless if they are players or NPCs, I want to believe they still have free will on their choices.

Hopeful. I feel the same regarding the green rescue team. Keeping our connections will be vitalicious from now on, especially since we have no idea what will be the outcome of this war. Concerned. I don't have problems with the people of Astorea, but I don't trust the ones responsible for its existence as a "player nation".

Well, I definitely don't believe in monarchy or any kind of bureaucracy made by players at the very least. Hopefully, I'll be able to get myself into a faction that'll suit me.

But, just so you are fully aware, I don't expect to be an ally of Astorea in the future. I fight to keep you and other friends safe and that is the extent of it. Let's hope neither of us die during the war...

Also, the trip sounds good. Do you prefer your men in a suit or casual clothing for dates, Roomba X? I think I can borrow someone's suit for a couple of hours if we need to pull off a posh look for the window shopping.

And how about an hour after we get back to the capital? I'll need to get some real life needs taken care of before I'll be ready to go.

That's an ingenious idea, Roomba X, who needs friends when they can just use illusion to conjure them up! That would be an excellent training for myself, to make a photo-realistic friend, or maybe two to keep my company and become a hermit once and for all.

Maybe I can go to a mountain somewhere and find myself a monk teacher who will help me attain skills in combat and tranquility to quell this hidden rage insid--wait, wrong game...
