Dormont, the Capital of Astorea, the pride and joy of all the players on Terrasphere which had stood for hundreds of years was victim of something truely remarkable. The streets of Dormont were taken over by dozens of festive kiosk's selling food, drink, goods and of course games for the masses that spanned in all directions to Castle Dormont. Castle Dormont itself was no different. Inside the castle's inner sanctum, sat a huge dining table in the center of the chamber that easily spanned a few dozen humans, able to seat countless and house enough food for a feast. Of course that wasn't the only table, there were four other dining tables of similar size to seat countless others who would wanted to join the feast with their own assortment of food and beverage as well as musician's playing their instruments . It was say to say only the most important of people nobe or not sat at the center. Against the walls sat end tables and louge chairs for those who didn't wish to sit with crowds but these were few in number.
It was pretty obvious this celebration was put into order once the Falderen King, Theodore D'e Falder had been killed in battle against Astorea's finest led by King Astor the First which in returne brought the Falderen invasion to an end. Though the invasion had ended quickly, it didn't end quick enough as countless died in the battle for Castle Dormont and even the task force led by King Astor the First didn't come back without casualties of it's own which included King Astor himself, Minerva and of course Seto whom were killed during the last moments of the battle. While it was true Astor, Minerva, Seto and the players of Terrasphere were immortal in the sense death was not permanent, to many and the people who inhabited Terrapshere as NPC's, death was still a frightening aspect and the pain it caused was not something a player could describe nor handle over countless times. Along with Minerva and King Astor, Seto was revived by Ashiore and with the help of others, him and the rest of the task force had returned to Astorea as heroes to there people. Even after a few days of returning back to Astorea, Seto was still greatly weakened by his wounds to the point it was hard for him to do basic functions like breathing and walking since he had refused to rest. He had decided against resting in favor of organizing a day of celebration
in an effort to commemorate Astorea's true indepence from Falderan yet he prohibited the masses from throwing the Falderan King's name into the mud in respect for the Falderan Princess, D'vangelline Falder. The celebration became public after the Ebony Duke had sent messengers and town criers all throughout Astorea civilization which in response drew thousands on the day the celebration started, those whom were part of the task force to kill the Falderan King and those close to the Duke such as
@Aalam Abungu ,
@Vartock,
@Alia and
@Lesalia Jehanna had been sent personal invitions If they were away.
It was a bright albeit slightly windy, sunny day for the celebrations, amonst those outside, thousands of players and the people of Terrapshere gathered in the streets interacting with the vendors, playing games, socializing or signing up for the joust tournment or the areana scramble. Inside was slightly different, many veteran players and noble alike spent their time in Castle's Dormont's inner sanctum socializing and eating to their heart's content. Unlike the last celebration here where he was named a Duke, Seto choose a less active role in the festivities, sitting at the dining table in the middle of the innersanctum with only two chairs being between him and the end where King Astor would sit. Although he had plenty of company from before, Seto had chosen to be by himself for the moment with probably
@Emmeline Valenick unless she ran off somewhere again. Seto laid back in his dining looking towards the ceiling sighing before he turned his attention to his mug filled with cherry whisky. For a moment he gazed into his mug, examining the crimson liquad before rising his mug to his lips and gulping some down his dried throat. He hoped Emmeline wouldn't kill him for drinking, he knew he shouldn't due to his condition but right now considiring what had transpired in the last few days, he didn't care, he just wanted to relax.
