  1. Tenebris remembered a thingy like this before. It was okay... the risk of losing all her money was great tension! Also she happened to have a lot of excess at the moment and little to spend on. So she hoped very much to get to enjoy losing it all and put in a somewhat larger bet than she did in the past!

  2. Velka wasn't a stranger to games of chance, far from it. She had missed the last gambling booth due to exploring but now that she was back, she could make up for lost time. The odds were against her, it wouldn't be gambling if they weren't but she had faith. And besides, part of the fun is the thrill of potentially losing something, even that something was in game currency.

  3. As usual, Astor strolled about the Moonbooth, waiting until a table was open and signaled for a group of the working girls to bring him multiple jars. Since he was the King of a nation and all, the girls happily obliged and set up the table for the man's amusement.

"Whoever would like to draw a coin with the King, come to this table. Let's see whom Endra favors this day! On my count, we will pop off the hatch to get our coins at the same time. Everyone ready?"

He spoke, making sure his hand was on the hatch as she looked at the group who had collected around him. "Alright, 3... 2... 1... go!"

  4. Oh! Looked like she won. It was a pleasant experience, but there was always another chance at winning. For the fun, she gave a small tip to the owners running the booth. And then, she reached for another coin.

  5. Surprised to see the king nearby, she returned to give flowers and take one more stab at the betting booth. Flowers were happily given to the owners of the booth, the king, and anyone nearby as a half-promotion and half-random gesture of cheer. "Let's have lots of fun, everyone!"

  6. She wasn't expecting to win, but losing wasn't nice either. Still, she had a fair bit of coin to spend, so why not use it? She was well stocked with gear and didn't foresee any situations that would require large sums of money in the future, none that couldn't be solved with a bit of good old violence anyways.

  7. Moonbooth

The girls working the booths wandered about the floor with a jar filled to the brim with gold, ready to dispense the winnings. All winnings up to this post have been paid out.

The working girls and the other patrons lurked about @Astor Balthas's table like vulture thirsting excitement as he, @Velka @Ashiore Evretto and @Harveste did a simultaneous coin draw. As the drawing happened, the audience clapped and cheered for the King's generous wager and went crazy when a winner was determined.

When @Ashiore Evretto won, they clamored and surrounded her, hoping her luck would rub off on them if they just got super close to the poor girl.

  8. Zelrius paid no mind to the others who surrounded him, instead wanting entirely just to play the game of luck. See, luck was the man's strong suit, or atleast, he so desperately wanted it to be. As of now, it had seemed it was, what with the several encounters leading up to now; The Hydromancer when doing the Entourage, The killing blow on Snefrid, and even the dice game he played with the Witch in her hut to obtain an egg, even though he technically failed the first time. Nonethless, this was the plan, play to win, and hopefully win big. If that goddess he had heard about from the NPCs, Endra, So willed it.

  9. Alpha stared at @Ashiore Evretto with interest, her ears perking up as a crowd began to form around the girl. Sure, she'd seen Astor and the rest but the presence of the king was kind of normal now, considering that she'd seen him practically everywhere (from depictions many artisans would make or through the battles they had fought together). Thus, she promptly shoved the golden-haired man into the back of her mind as she joined the crowd in attempting to steal Ashiore's luck. Alpha slipped through the small creaks and, eventually, managed to reach far enough to pluck a single hair from the brunette's head.

Immediately afterward, she rushed back to the pot with the gold ready and with excitement brimming everywhere. "I like this...ANOTHER!"

  10. If it came to what he REALLY needed, Cain already had his exquisite tier weapon. Everything else from that point on? Extra. So as Alphabet Chocolate bravely dropped down 500 gold pieces, the midnight haired muse decided to stop pussy footing around and act like the veteran player he truly was. All in all out, no holds barred. Time to rock and fucking rolllllll.

With the panache of someone who had lost everything he ever loved and had nothing else left to lose, Cain smacked down a fat 500, looked the manager of the booth straight in the eye, and pulled out...

  11. A wince. True agony. It felt like his soul getting ripped out of his chest, but Cain didn't stop from pain alone, and once again, he truly had nothing to lose. Capitalism was just a social construct, and the midnight haired muse could feel the madness bubbling into the surface. If not now, when? Yes, even after such a dramatic, brutal loss, he slapped down all but the very vestiges of his fortunes left on the table, shook the pot, and...

  12. Alpha grinned as she noticed @Cain Darlite slapping untold amounts of currency onto the table and she couldn't help but reach over to give him a pat. "That's how we do ittt! LET'S GO ALL IN!" she screamed on the top of her lungs, slamming down the rest of her money onto the stall. "GO BROKE OR GO HOME! THAT'S HOW WE DO IT IN PENNSYLVANIA!"

  13. Moonbooth

The girls working the booths wandered about the floor with a jar filled to the brim with gold, ready to dispense the winnings. All winnings up to this post have been paid out.

The girls leered at @Alphabet Chocolate and @Cain Darlite before approaching them, coaxing them into playing some more. They whispered, saying that both of them could go with the all in option if they wanted a try.

  14. Indra tried her best to interrupt the girl's announcement, but her monotone voice had no chance of winning against a sea of people shouting and celebrating the whole betting going on. A monotone sigh escaped her lips as the words the booth girl whispered on her ears echoed on her mind. She was pretty sure it wasn't some phantasmia spell...

Well, might as well try it out. "Thoughtful. If I earn enough, I could finally start my business..."

  15. All in? It was only one thousand gold pieces, chump change now that he was a proper city defending, boss slaying god of support magic. Rolling up his sleeve and readjusting his hat, Cain grinned at Alphabet, her madness infecting himself.

“Win or lose, let’s get some drinks after this, Lames.”

And with that, a tidy fortune of one thousand gold coins was smashed upon the table, the booth’s surface splintering as Cain put all his resolve, all his passion, into this one draw of his soul.
