  1. Alpha cackled as the man won his wager. Immediately, without hesitation, she slammed all she had onto the counter. "IF I LOSE THIS THEN YOU OWE ME A DRINK, ARINE!" she laughed madly into the air.

  2. This game brought out the worst in him. First smoking and now here he was, sitting at a table fully prepared to gamble away his hard-earned money. And then, there were all those shouts from the drinking tent, so he had to make his way over there to see how he did. Ugh. Well, it was only a game, right?

  3. Tenebris made a frown of disappointment. As she actually gained money! Gee whiz... can't a girl experience some grief on a day off? She looked towards two people she was not completely able to make out in the crowd. They were surrounded by some dumb booth babes or whatever they were called. Winning...fine one more time!

"C'mon you stupid place.... why is gambling being so, so ummm... nice?! Where's the grief! Gee whiz!"

It was only directly after throwing more money in that she noticed the supreme loss of one of the two 'big winners'. Yaaaaaay, finally it's getting good... or is that bad? Yeah bad!

  4. Well, shit. Emil frowned when he realized that he lost the first hand. Shrugging his shoulders, he put another bet down and prepared for the next hand. It was just gold and he could always make back what he lost. But if he won, he wouldn’t have to worry about making it back. He’d be rich!

  5. Moonbooth

The girls working the booths wandered about the floor with a jar filled to the brim with gold, ready to dispense the winnings. All winnings up to this post have been paid out.

The girls flirted with @Emil Trevelyan and @Cain Darlite fishing for tips, while they glared at the pinkie, @Magi Heart. They tried to cheer up @Alphabet Chocolate however.

  6. Alpha pouted as her pockets were emptied, sighing as the girls attempted to cheer her up. It took awhile for her to regain her vigor but she did, now fueled by her desire to win more. Launching herself up from her depressive curl, she hopped on up to the pot with a thumbs-up to reassure the kind women. "YOU MAY HAVE MY MONEY BUT YOU'LL NEVER HAVE MY SPIRIT!" she hurrah'd.

  7. Okay, she told herself. Last try for tonight. The booth would still be sticking around for quite a while, if it was staying while the festival was ongoing. So, one more time for now, and if she needed to, she'd come back later. Again, she gave a bit of a tip and tried for one last coin.

Since he kept seeing @Ashiore Evretto winning and leaving, @Nigerian Prince approached her and asked if she wanted to take a break in the VIP lounge and rest a little instead of leaving the booth altogether. The girl behind him thanked her for the generous tip.

  9. "Ahhh. Umm." As the proprietor of the booth came up to her, started stammering. Was it bad that she was winning so much? She didn't mean to! When he extended an invitation, though, she didn't know how to answer. Was that good? Or, not? Still though, it would be impolite to refuse now that she'd been invited personally.

    "Okay...? Sure?"

She left a bit of a tip for the girls as she left, though. Wouldn't want to be rude, after all.

  10. "Please, have a seat. Don't be nervous." The Prince smiled warmly at the girl as he tugged on the veil, shielding them from the peeving eyes of outsider. Then, he came toward Ashiore and poured them each a glass of cold strawberry brandy with an actual strawberry cutting into the edge of the glass.

Raising his vessel for a toast, hoping to clink glass with the girl, he took a sip and spoke again. "You seemed like you were seeking to escape this place. I am simply providing you with, say, service so that you can catch your breath and relax in this fine establishment before you leave. That's all. If there's anything I can do for you, fair lady, please do not hesitate to ask."

  11. _____Kaede could not help herself with entering such a place, not only was there gambling but lovely woman walking around the area. While she herself had never risked things in gambling she felt it was only fair to try once or twice. As far as she could tell her restaurant could wait and hopefully no big war would spike out again. So rolling her right arm slowly at her side before reaching to take out her gold for her bet.

_____Looking the pot over before calmly throwing it into the air with a slight front flip twist spin before catching it with a nimble hand and getting the one coin with her eyes closed. Tapping the coin to her head for a reason unknown before slowly allowing her eyes to look the coin over with little expectations.

  12. The now drunker than high hell Zelrius stepped- more like stumbled and meandered- his way back into the betting booth, more than determined to win a pretty penny or two, completely ignoring most bodies in there, sitting at a table and then tossing some coin on the surface, murmuring something about always needed to be a winner.

  13. Comet promised herself to gamble at least once due to the festivities taking place that called for high spirits. She chewed on her bottom lip in anticipation, heart heavy and rapidly beating, before hesitantly offering beloved coin - betting on her luck m

  14. Ashiore looked around the area, curious about the 'behind the scenes' look of the booth. She hadn't expected to ever get this chance, and so once she was past the veil, she started observing everything she could.

When the drink was offered, Ashiore smiled and thanked the Prince. Hmm. She wasn't sure what the drink was, but judging from the smell, it was probably alcoholic. Umm. She didn't have the best experience with that beer brewing, even though that was supposedly a sweet one. But, oh, looked like the Prince was toasting? Fumbling, Ashiore met his glass, and tried a sip.

Ehhhh. That one time wasn't just a fluke, then. The strawberry flavor did help to hide some of the strange bitter taste, though. "Ah, thank you. I don't want to take up too much of your time, though. Since it seems like you're quite busy."

Still, she couldn't deny that she was curious about the whole operation. "Have you been doing this long? I mean, traveling around, setting up these booths?"

  15. Eileen smiles as she enters the booth, looking around with sparkling eyes. A different, but similar, booth to before. She needed to earn herself some good money to throw away at the festival, and there were only so many pockets to pick. After sliding the money across, Eileen reached for the cards with little hesitation.

    "Gimme, gimme!" she crowed.
