Ale King Competing in the age-old game of drinking isn't for everyone. It takes a stout and firm build to survive that much of any brew. Those here for a tasting, afraid of getting their hands dirty will find themselves lacking in the line up of true men and women of the nectar of the gods. The game is easy, compete against the carnival staff who are on break to see who can win at the game of drink, and who will end up sleeping it off under the table. This is a long running tradition in the yearly Dark Harvest made to rouse the true competitive spirit of the faire attendees. Like the past several years, these contests are held in the one of the biggest tents in the faire, which interior has been lined with a staggering amount of booze for the contests. Among these massive jugs were some of the highest quality ale brewed by: @Sylpha Astarte @Solaria @Verity @Aalam Abungu @Ashiore Evretto. They were contained within wooden kegs that had their names imprinted on it as well as the grade of the ale. The moment you stepped into the tent, you immediately noticed the noisy drinkers crowding around a small sandy ring whereupon a wooden, round table stood with backless chairs on either side. Two square-jawed, red-faced drinkers are casting death stares at one another as they struggled to finish the last gulp. of their ale. However, the bearded man immediately ran from the table and hurled into a bucket outside of the ring, forfeiting the match as the referee made his way toward the victor and put his hand in the air while the crowd went crazy. If you are in a competitive mood, come and enter the ring! By the end of the event, whoever has won the most amount of matches without dying or tapping out will earn themselves the title of Ale King or Ale Queen, an exclusive title that will only be attainable once a year.
