    I'm the Strongest

"BEHOLD. For today is your lucky day." Seigi yelled out and nodded multiple times as she stood atop 10 chairs stacked upon each other. "For it is I, Seigi Ling Ling the great. Hero of Justice. Defender of the Weak. With Guts and Effort. But today I am not on a heroic mission of justice. No, today I, Seigi, am here to give YOU an opportunity! Today is the day where you get the chance to prove you're the STRONGEST there is." The girl went silent for a second as she let that sicker in for a moment.

"I hear you asking: 'How?'" She continued with a small, confident, snicker. "By fighting against ME in an ARM WRESTLE MATCH. As it just so happens, I, Seigi Ling Ling, have very soon wrestled any and all kind of bear-animals and alligators there are! Yes, you heard RIGHT! Mess your power on the heroic girl that will soon have defeated this continent's most ferocious of creatures with her bare hands!" That should do it, right? Sure, Seigi had been very silent about a crucial detail BUT it wasn't a lie.

"So, step forward oh brave challengers and prove worthy to call yourself one of THE STRONGEST."

Note: This isn't an actual stall but an open RP. You can literally just make one or two responses, too, and then leave.

You don't have to but for the funs: Throw a d100 and fight Seigi, or whoever decides to hijack her self-proclaimed throne if the situation calls for it. Add/Subtract dice if you're feeling it's justified like 'holding back'. No modifiers at all is simply "giving it your all and not cheating".

    Seigi wouldn't even let a 5-year-old win.
Also for clarification's sake, lower result = win.

  2. Briar was drunk, but she wasn't drunk enough to be an idiot. She was, however, already an idiot in her mind when she remembered the first time she met the girl at the arm-wrestling station. She grinned slightly, ignoring the sheer alcohol on her breath and the fact that her lame fish was still following her like a shadow.

She took a seat across from @Seigi with her scrawny but firm little arm held up to start a fight. "I'd be damned if I did noit give it my all. After last time, I owe you a peesh of my mind... And in days of ol', we people used strength to prove our wurth."

Half of her random babble and drunken wording was just for fun, the other half just part of her body's mechanism when she had a drunken state. Despite being under the influence, she gave it her all, ignoring any pain she might feel.

Hey, rivalry was fun! And wasn't she, in some ways, with her rival? If this woman was gonna say she was justice incarnate, chaos still had to show her her place. "And eve if I loosh here, I bet I can still drink ye under the table, lady. Under the same table my arm's gonna pin you to."

    For the lols?

  3. "My first challenger!" Seigi looked with excitement. "It is you!" Except, she talked really weird. Nonetheless. "JUSTICE will ALWAYS win, chaotic kitten of evil. Be it in this test of strength or showing you my super duper strong alcohol tolerance" Without further ado and no discrimination, Seigi grabbed Briar's hands before counting down.

    "3...2..1... Let's roll!"

Just to be... "Defeated...?" She whispered in disbelief. No. Clearly, just a flake. Yup. Or... "CONGRATULATIONS! You may now call yourself as one of Terrasphere's strongest! If you try really hard maybe one day you'll be as awesome as me. Yup."

  4. Is that an arm wrestling event? Hell. Yes.

Backfire B-lined it for @Seigi . If it was a test of strength, she was definitely in. She had even just recently been practicing her body combat so not only was she an ace with fire, but she could also throw a punch. Reaching Seigi, Backfire made her declaration.

"HERO OF JUSTICE, HUH?! ALRIGHT, ALRIGHT! STEP ASIDE PEOPLE! TIME FOR ME GIVE THIS A SHOT! LET'S SEE IF I CAN GIVE OUR HERO HERE A RUN FOR THEIR MONEY! HAHAHA! YOU READY HERO OF JUSTICE?! NOW YOU'RE FIGHTING BACKFIRE, THE FIRE DEMON!"

Backfire took her position and grabbed Seigi's hand.

    "LET'S DO THIS!"

  5. Another break from healing the wounded, another walk around the faire to see what else might be in store. She had lots of time, it seemed like, even with her medicinal tent. A stranger running an arm wrestling competition didn't seem like something nearly as bad as some of the other attractions, now did it?

Getting closer, she realized it was a recent big winner from the Moonbooth- where she'd just lost considerably, and was irritated by it to some degree. Still, it was her own fault for joining the wave of people going all in to the most they could. Even if there was nothing to win or lose here, she still wanted to give it a try. A test of strength never hurt, did it?

"I'll take a round too, please." She mused, sitting and holding out her dominant hand to @Seigi. It was the one she usually held her single-handed swords in, and one she felt quite content with using at a time like this. "Let's make this a clean, fair fight of wits and strength."

  6. @Backfire "OHHH. IT'S LIKE YOU'RE ON FIRE. ALRIGHT, I WILL TAKE YOU ON ANY TIME. YOU GOT GUTS... JUST NEED THAT EFFORT!" Seigi's eyes were on fire as this very motivational person challenged the self-proclaimed Hero of Justice. "3...2...1... LET'S ROLL!"

Seigi won! It was close, but she did it. "Hah... if you'll keep at it, one day, you'll be just as much of an awesome person as I, Seigi. Remember, with Guts and Effort!" Wait... she didn't want other people to steal her punch-line!

@Solaria "You... look qu-" No, wait. The cat girl from before was also just a kitty cat. "Hmpf. Don't think your looks can fool me, Big Green!" The cutest were the most dangerous. Everybody knew that. "3..2...1... Let's gooo......"

The hero girl couldn't believe this. She got obliterated. Èasily. By a flower. "You gotta teach me that technique! Anyways, CONGRATULATIONS on now being one of Terrasphere's STRONGEST!" Maybe, Seigi should start giving out autographs? 'From Seigi Ling Ling, the richest Hero of Justice' or something?

The first roll is for Backfire.
    Second roll for Solaria.
    Reminder: The lower number wins

  7. Harveste was trying to find more places to promote herself and her flower stall. It was, after all, a business- even if, to her, it was just fun to give flowers to strangers that might like them. It was while she was wandering the faire on her own, giving out flowers like she did in small spurts throughout the day, that she saw a stranger with a big grin and a meaty arm for arm wrestling.

"I'm not very confident in myself, but... I think it'd be fun. But first..." She sang softly to grow flower- a somewhat multicolor alstroemeria- and hand it to the stranger before she sat down. "My name is Harveste. I run a flower stall, but... I also just like giving flowers out, and this one is to show my hope that we'll have a wonderful friendship and that you yourself will find good fortune in your endeavors."

She probably should've saved the flower for afterward, but who cared? She was just happy if the girl would accept it with her challenge.

  8. It was the shouting that drew Magdalyn's attention. She drifted over, and stood among the crowd, watching the girl challenge curious onlookers to an arm wrestling competition. For the time being, Mags was content to simply watch, her arms loosely crossed across her chest. But as the so-called Seigi Ling Ling continued to boast, Mags found herself itching to get involved. Conquering beasts? Was this player also interested in beast taming? She had been hoping to meet more tamers, and those who might be willing to adventure with her. Was that not why she joined the game in the first place?

It was not exactly standard to make introductions over an arm wrestling match, but what else was there to do? So when a lull fell, Magdalyn took a step forward. "I'll take you on!" she greeted good-naturedly. She plopped down, and grinned over at her opponent.

  9. "HAHAHA! LOOKS LIKE I NEED TO DO SOME MORE PUSHUPS! YOU'VE WON YOUR TITLE HERO OF JUSTICE, BUT NEXT YEAR YOU WON'T BE SO LUCKY!"

Backfire decided she would need to up her physical regiment... right after she found another beer...

  10. @Harveste Suddenly, another one of these scary looking people came along! Scary as in having strength beyond one's imagination. With mentally permanent battle-scars from Briar and Solaria, Seigi eyed Harveste like some dangerous animal. "I shall accept your humble offering, Harveste. But don't think that this will give you any advantage. I WILL NOT BE FOOLED A THIRD TIME!"

The last sentence, Seigi rather proclaimed to herself. A sore loser indeed. Yup, she totally held back against the little Briar and Solaria. Whatever allowed her to sleep at night.

Gripping the little girl's hand into her own, the hero put nonetheless a confident grin on her face. "3...2...1... HERO POWER!"

"..." With a deadpanned face, Seigi simply nodded before saying in the most neutral, emotionless tone, she had yet mustered. "Congratulations Harveste. You can now consider yourself to be one of Terrasphere's strongest."

@Magdalyn "Finally!" Now THIS gal looked like an actual opponent. No scary hidden anime strength whatsoever. Just pure guts and effort! With a cocky grin, Seigi nodded in acknowledgment. "Alright, nameless one, prove yourself worthy!"

Getting into position, the small hero grabbed the contenders hand. "3...2...1...GO!"

Seigi lost again... again and again... over and over. Not just the cute devils in disguise, but even against a warrior woman like her! Just... how... why? Was this divine retribution for becoming literally Terrasphere's richest player over just one night?

"Alright..." Seigi nodded. "Alright..." She... she wasn't a sore loser! She wasn't a fourteen-year-old that slowly, actually, got hurt in her little hero shenanigan pride. Totally not. "Congratulations!" Seigi said as tears were rolling down her cheeks. "You are now one of Terrasphere's strongest!" She nodded a few times before continuing to talk.

"Huh? Tears? I'm just happy for you! Yup, totally!" Way to make a little girl cry! Was Seigi's spirit now crushed?!

The first roll is for Harveste
    Second roll for Magdalyn

  12. It was a small healing tent that Ilya had stopped by to watch as magic overflowed each caster's hands when she heard the loud shout of a girl who proclaimed herself as Seigi cry out that she was the greatest.

Ilya's own cat ears flickered as she took in what was being said, An arm wrestling contest?? Ilya had drifted over to the commotion, her eyes flickering with amusement as she watched. Some won while some others lost.

Without really thinking about it, Ilya picked each person she would cheer on, chanting for either Seigi or her competitor. Upon hearing Seigi ask for more competitors, Ilya grinned silently. Why not...

Ilya walked over and raised her right hand, "I shall compete!" She was feeling very lucky as she continued to walk until she was standing right in front of Seigi. With a swift motion, Ilya took off her mask and set it beside her person so that she might face Seigi with her true identity revealed.

"Name's Ilya." Ilya introduced herself out of courtesy before holding out her arm, Ready... Let us do this! Ilya was feeling pretty confident as she held out her hand, ready to take the girl's hand into her own and use all of her might.

  13. So.Much.Defeat. At this point, Seigi was simply shattered. Utterly. Her unwavering, delusional, conviction slowly started to crack. Not entirely, but did that matter? This tiny crack, the silent questions in the back of her mind, was enough, no? After all, Seigi strongly believed that the first step to victory was an unwavering conviction. To not doubt oneself. So this... now...

"NONSENSE!" Seigi cried out as another challenger approach her wrongly acclaimed throne before the girl literally punched some sense into herself. "I AM SEIGI LING LING. THE GREATEST HERO OF ALL! I will not be undone." This wasn't even directed at the Felis herself. Did... Seigi even notice the girl yet?

"You!" Now the girl clearly did as she pointed her finger at Ilya. "I am Seigi Ling Ling! The Hero! Your sacrifice shall not be forgotten. FIGHT ME." Yes, Seigi needed this. Totally. She had to win. Right here, right now. Or the re-boot button she just punched pressed herself wouldn't change much.

Grabbing Ilya's hand Seigi grinned with a confident smirk. "The battle of the century! A fight to the death. Give me everything you got! I will not hold back. 3...2...1... Let's roll!"

    ...
    ...
    ...

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" The hero girl smashed her head against the table, rapidly. Why? Just why?! JUST. WHY?! She had given this so much gusto. So much believe. So. Much. Everything! Yet, over and over, she lost. Lost. Lost. Lost. Lost. Lost. Lost. Lost. Lost. Lost!

Was it... because... she wasn't fighting true evil? Because this was, ultimately, just a game? A lesson? About what? Being humble? But... no! Seigi was totally humble, no?! She didn't need anyone telling her how awesome she was as Seigi was super duper perfectly aware of her own awesomeness! "Urgh..." Her head started to hurt even before she started thinking too much about some small existential crisis. Maybe the blood dripping from her head had to do with this.

Stopping mid-motion, the hero girl turned her face towards the Challenger, @Ilya, before giving her a lovely smile with a lovely voice. "Congratulations, Ilya! You can now consider yourself as one of Terrasphere's strongest! Good. Job." The Felis even got a thumbs up!

Now... if she could only be left alone. Continuing her suffering in silence.

  14. In between drinking, partying, dancing, performing, and the whole shazam, Cain Darlite, Flagbearer of Miracles and Beholder of Drinks, had spotted that curious stall quite a few times. An arm wrestling competition to prove that you were one of Terrasphere’s strongest by basically just…picking on a newbie player with a big heart? Yeah, even drunk as he was, Cain felt less like laughing at Seigi and more like pitying her, as she incurred loss after loss after loss, her expressions warping into disappointment and sorrow each time. Ah, poor girl, never strong enough to challenge those that had spent months, if not years, within Terrasphere honing their physical skills. It may have been nothing but a good-natured game in the eyes of those that walked by, but knowing what he knew of the heroic desires of the orange haired girl, Cain was certain that she, at least, was taking this very, very seriously.

So he took a break. A detour. A vacation from his Ale King challenges to stride over to the girl’s ramshackle shack. A smile, a rolling of his sleeve to unveil the sinewy muscles beneath, and a slight tensing of his shoulders. “Have you given up so soon, Seigi?” The midnight haired muse said, setting his elbow on the table, “As a hero of justice, you must always mind your own appearances, no? The blood that spews from your skull is unsightly, more befitting a demon than a hero, whilst the smiles you bear, though they may fool the average passerby, is in actuality faker than an archer whose only power is mimicking the weapons of others.”

The fingers of his left hand drummed the table, a healing pattern that sealed the wound and wiped the blood, before he cracked his wrist in anticipation for the challenge ahead.

“But enough talk. Seigi, Sunset Sage of Seven Strikes, allow this Flagbearer of Miracles to show you just what it means to be a hero.”

  15. "You..." Every time Seigi saw THIS person the first thought, the first memory, coming to her mind was this particular scene. This particular feeling. As heroic as the girl tried to be, in the end, she was still just a brat. So how else was she supposed to react than blushing a bit? Right, by acting with lots of gusto and simply drowning any other noise. "YOU!"

Yes. HIM. "I FINALLY UNDERSTAND." Seigi nodded. "Thanks for coming." His pep-talk wasn't all that effective in being called out about pretty much everything BUT seeing Cain finally revealed the truth. Cain was male! Yes. Male.

So far, all Seigi had been fighting were fellow girls. So, clearly, this had to be it! Totally. Clearly, subconsciously, Seigi was cavalier enough to hold back in a battle that wasn't about good vs evil. But against someone like HIM. Yes, Seigi could go all out.

Taking his hand in hers and killing off the picture that just reappeared in her mind in record-time, Seigi had a cocky grin on her face. "No holding back. All Out. I WILL SHOW YOU, TRUE, HEROIC POWER. 3...2...1... LET IT RIP."

    No Miracle.
    No Outer Sign.
    No Happy End.

    Just defeat. Utter, complete, defeat.

Shattered, once more. Shattered, into pieces. "Shattered..." She whispered before adding in a monotone voice. "Congratulations on counting yourself to be one of Terrasphere's strongest."

Just like so often as before her now void-of-life face was in complete silence. "NO!" Seigi suddenly yelled out before she jumped up and put one foot on the small table. "YOU!" She pointed at Cain. "I REFUSE. I UTTERLY, COMPLETELY, ABSOLUTELY REFUSE." She refused. Simple as that. "You WILL teach me your way." Thinking back about it, his grip, his technique, his soft hands, his strength. They had all been superior compared to who she had fought before.

"You WILL teach me your way." Seigi repeated herself. "And then, once I'm prepared. Once I learned. Once I'm even more heroic. We shall battle again and I Will Be The Victor and bring forth a Miracle." Was this an subtle offer? A demand? Did it even matter?
