    Harveste's Happy Harvest

A simple stall decorated with a variety of flowers from various seasons and lands, this stall is run by the self-proclaimed "Harvest Sprite" who wants to help spread the joy of nature by selling flowers she's grown in preparation and will even grow more before your eyes. You can choose to get a single flower or a bouquet, with up to five types of flowers in it. On the sign noting this, in a rather awkward handwriting likely done by herself, there's also an option to let her surprise you, and a note:

"Flowers are a gift from nature. Let these flowers be a gift to you or someone special to you during this wonderful celebration of nature's bounty!

For some reason, drawn on the sign is a bouquet of childish flowers and berries surrounding it. No one is likely to know why they were drawn, as even the happy sprite has not a clue.

  2. Vivian and @Lucia Mierz had been on a date prior to the event. She smiled openly towards the woman now enjoying the Dark Harvest as a patron. Not a bunny girl, not a lush drunk, or a kissing idol. Simply Vivian.

They had been walking hand and hand looking at all the neat merchandise sprawled out in display from the other stalls. Vivian squeezed Lucia's hand in the process as they stopped by a Flower Boutique. A small girl with mauve hair seemed to be primping her flowers with a lovely look on her baby face.

The malefimancer smiled, "I think a flower would be beautiful on you. Maybe over the ear or something?" She moved hand in hand with her date to the girl, @Harveste .

"Good evening. I am looking for something purple my girlfriend here. You have anything wild or exotic that would look lovely over her head or over the ear?"

  3. She perked at the sound of someone near her booth asking a rather cute and lovely question. Taking a pause after finishing pruning one flower that had far more thorns than she felt safe to hand out, she peeked first out the corner of her eye at the people that came, before turning to welcome them properly.

"It's been a while, Lucia~!" The small Faerin spoke with a chipper voice and a giggle on her lips, looking the familiar face over to think of what might suit her the most at this time. "For this, I'd say..." She moved to her flower pots and found a bloom she'd already 'grown'. "Your timing is perfect~ I think this would work just right."

Plucking the flower, a richer purple than most of its relatives in the same flower pot, she held it out with a smile and explained her choice with a soft, seemingly knowledgeable gaze. "This flower is known as 'Stock'. In the language of flowers, it means lasting beauty and hope for a happy life, and indicates quite notably the bonds of affection between you. It's a flower that prefers the cool air, so this is the perfect time for one, too. And don't you think it fits the two of you perfectly? If you'd like, I can give you a pair to match~ I think it would look good on you as well, after all, miss."

Her focus, now, was on the one she didn't know of the two: @Vivian Cruz. A beautiful woman, she would surely admit. One she could only hope would get great joy, with Lucia, from the flower she chose.

  4. There was something that Aalam needed to do, and it was something that he couldn’t do empty handed. He had been putting his off for the longest time and well if he did act soon there was the chance that his window would close and that was something he couldn’t bear to happen. Before he could say anything though he needed flowers, he knew that the proper flower on Earth would have been roses, but he wasn’t on earth. He was on Terra, and there was so much that he didn’t know about the flowers in terra.

This was some that gave him nerves it was easier defending the south wall in the war than do this. However, he swallowed his fear and approached flower stall it was being manned by a small woman. With an expression of pure innocence on her face, it seemed that she had grown most of the flowers by herself and well that was impressive if nothing else. Clearing his throat to get the attention of the girl before speaking, this was hard enough. He had no wish to make it harder.

“Good evening, I am looking for a bouquet of flower to surprise some on that I have a significant crush on.” At that he looked over at the kissing booth seeing @Savannah Reed standing guard over Vivian, there was a few more second of fear as the sight of her robbed him of his voice. “I need something that will make an impression, can you help me?”

  5. There was no doubt in her mind as the man struggled to speak that whoever his crush was, 'significant' was not quite the word. @Aalam Abungu reminded her of herself, and of her own strife recently, quite fluidly. It made her smile a mixture of dimmed and sincere, but also warm. Young people in love were just so cute!

"A bouquet for soemone special..." She watched his gaze to the kissing booth not too far off, recognizing one person who'd come to shop earlier, the other a rather unique breed she wasn't sure of herself. A bodyguard and an elegant seductress of a woman- and one was clearly taking his voice away. She wasn't sure, but something told her one of them was the one he liked. "How about some carnations?"

Unlike many times, she sang directly to him, eyes upon the wood that made her stall's counter. She'd normally grow her flowers in a pot, but this felt like it would be fine without the extra energy given to her by soil. This time, she'd just make the bouquet with her mind.

"With a smile, won't you bloom for me? Oh, my beautiful flower of love~"

The song rang through the air lightly and slowly but surely, a bouquet of white carnations and some anemone of a royal indigo hue. She bound them together with a small ribbon much like the ones in her hair and sniffed them once before holding them out to him. Her smile was a bit brighter, her eyes rather astute as she kept them on him and spoke.

"The anemone are indicators from me to you that your eyes show you're losing hope, and it worries me. However, they also symbolize anticipation- the real reason I'm giving them to you. May the anticipation show what the white carnations are meant to tell her in the language of blooms... Of your pure, innocent love." Her eyes closed as she smiled one of those somewhat cutesy anime-grins that only a childish form could help her pull off. "I hope she'll love them as you do her, sir. The flowers will hope for your happiness too!"

  6. “Excuse me sir, do you know which way to the crop maze?” a felis mother with her veritable litter of children in tow stood over Alex as she asked her unsolicited question.

“I'm sorry. I am not sure myself.” Alex answered doing her best to be polite. This was not the first time she had been asked.

The felis woman huffed. “Well! Some security you are! How can you do your job if you don't know where anything is!” she tugged her line of children behind her as she stormed off.

“I don't work here!” Alex called after them, to little avail. Her metallic voice singling itself out from the rest of buzz of the other festival goers. That was also not the first time Alex had received such a reaction to her response. It had been happening every few minutes for the last several hours since she had arrived at the festival. It seemed that not many people attended festivities in full armor, unless they were working security at said festivities. The repeated misunderstandings were beginning to wear on Alex's patience and her good nature. She needed to find some way to differentiate herself from those that were working security for the event.

Glancing around at the rows of stalls one stood out to her and she approached. Flowers. Flowers were festive and fun foliage that would surely add an air of whimsy that would dissuade further people from thinking she was working in any official capacity.

“Excuse me, kind vendor!” Alex spoke out to the faerin in attendance. She seemed familiar but with everything going on Alex wasn't sure if she recognized her or not. “Could you perhaps fashion me a wreathe, flower crown, or other accessory that will compliment my armor while making me appear more festive than formal?”

  7. While looking out at the beautiful festival that lay out in Terrasphere, Ilya stumbled upon a rather familiar person, leading a stall. "Harveste! Oh my gosh! Hi!" Ilya first lifted her hands to her face to take off the mask she had been wearing all night, her clothes still in the right places and covering the proper spots they needed to be.

After making sure everything was in order she reached forward and gave a huge hug to her close friend, "How have you been?"

With a wide grin, she looked at what Harveste had set up, "Oooh! Flower! Can I have some?" With Ilya's excited voice she seemed almost like a child. However, she could not help it as she was excited for the first festival, "I want a bouquet of your favorite flowers put together!"

With a giggle, Ilya put forth her request and waited for Harveste do "do her magic". After all, watching someone even perform magic made her feel all bubbly inside, which was half the reason for her over excitement.

The whole night people were casting spells and laughing. The voices echoed into the night as she stood before Harveste. The soft and warm glow lighting up the whole festival events.

  8. She wasn't sure how to feel when a peculiar fellow in all armor around her size came wandering to her booth- but @Alex Marquardt wasn't as scary when she spoke as when she just walked over with irritation and heavy footsteps. In a way, she was already quite charming without the floral arrangement- just, in an unusual way the sprite couldn't quite explain in any detail.

"Festive... Well, I guess something colorful would be the best method then, right? I think I have an idea. Just gimme oooone sec!" She clapped and began her work- but it would take time to make a garland, since she wasn't fully sure how. That wasn't really one of her skills, as she thought of it. "Just to warn you, though... I don't have handicrafting or anything like that, so it might be kinda bad besides the flowers themselves."

With a timid laugh, she grew a plethora of tulips in the ground before her, plucking each one out and combining it by the stem with its neighbor. There were 5 different colors of tulips- surprisingly, all fairly natural in reality, or so she knew. They were placed carefully into a pattern: white, purple, green, red/yellow hybrids and blue, then repeated. She wove them until they seemed the right length and tied it of, nearly crawling over her counter to place it on the stranger's head. "What do you think? It's colorful and bright, right? They all have different meanings, but I took that into less consideration in this case. In order from white to blue they mean worthiness, royalty, beautiful eyes, and... Actually, I never did find the meaning for the last two... But they're good flowers, don't you think so?"

Not long later was it that a familiar face came to drop by as well. "@Ilya! It's good to see you!" She smiled happily, glad for the familiarity between them to ease her after her slight discontent with her last sale- mostly because it reminded her how much she had left to learn when it came to flowers. "My favorite flowers...? That's... hrm..."

It was a bit awkward to give anyone but her beloved a spider lily, her favorite, because that was what Kaede had called her since the first time she did. "Well... My favorites do kind of fit the season, though..." She seemed to mull it over a while before she finally gave in.

The customer is always right, and Kaede's a special kind of lily herself. She knows that, so it won't matter, will it? I'm just thinking too much. Letting her mind leave her girlfriend, she opted to focus on the friend at the counter once more. As she sang a song for the lilies she loved to bloom, she held the bouquet out to Ilya, the red flowers seeming to match her hair somewhat as she looked at them in the light. "Spider lilies are considered one of the 'corpse flowers' in our world. From what I'm aware, they usually grow after major storms, like hurricanes. I hear they symbolize reincarnation, too. All I know is... They're special to me, for some reason. They always have been and always will be~ So take good care of them, okay?"

  9. Alex clapped her hands together in delight at the sight of the booth worker's creation. Due to the armored nature of her hands however, this resulted in a metallic rattling sound as opposed to the more familiar organic sounds one normally recognized as approval. “It is perfect!” Alex exclaimed and leaned in close for the other faerin to drop the thing atop her helmet. She'd have to store it somewhere nice and safe when she returned to her booth lest it get ruined in the water. Still, for now it was just the thing, in Alex's mind, to make her look less official and more playful.

Tales of the meanings of each flower only made Alex puff up her chest with pride at what she assumed was praise being lavished upon her based on the symbolism being explained. “You honor me with your work.” she returned the praise as humbly as she could “Thank you very much.” and with those pleasantries out of the way, Alex wandered away from the booth to go find a drink to celebrate her now boosted confidence.
