Seto took a moment to make a mental note of Kohaku's smile as he admitted he wished to speak with him directly, he couldn't help but ponder why he didn't he just didn't say that? He swayed those thoughts from his mind, it would simply be easier to allow the young man before to speak his mind, Seto turned his attention to Kohaku while he picked up the clay tea kettle sitting on the table and poured some more green tea into his wooden cup until it was filled which prompted him to lay the kettle back on the table to where it was before taking another sip from his wooden tea cup, he sighed slightly as his eye's met Kohaku's yellow eyes.

Seto
"Hmm I see....well If you wish to speak with me over a matter than I shall permit it, you may ask anything within reason, of course anything you say to me, you can say it to my fierce Lioness as well......Afterall she is the only one I can entrust my "Will of Fire to"."
His right eye took a glimpse at Alia while he kept his primary attention on Kohaku before he made mischievous smile with his lips.
"Besides....it would be best to ask what you seeked now since you can return to whatever business you had before hand, I'm sure my Lioness here wishes to...be alone in my presence since she hadn't seen the Duke in a few months if I recall directly.
Seto made no attempt to hinder his laughter, he was merly joking around of course but he had the feeling he would probably be getting smacked later for what he just say but he didn't care at the moment, he couldn't help it, it was of those rare instances he was being laid back.
Seto returned to normal, probaly to Alia's relief but choosing to remain silent while he looked out the window, looking across the street, giving Kohaku ample time to speak if need be. Right now his mind was an empty slate, waiting to asborb and information Kohaku would give him or allow him to think clearly on what he asked which could be endless, he would laugh himself probably to death If he asked about his relationship to Alia whom would probably just blush in response as far as he knew anyway since she wasn't under normal circumstances, a violent person. After he gave Kohaku enough time to speak, he turned his head over his shoulder to gaze upon his Lioness.......only to find her on edge to the point she was ready pounce on someonne, it only became worse by the tone of her voice when she finally spoke about not letting Vivian have her way with Ivalice, it was pretty clear she was not happy about the situation as she asked him the same questions that have gone through his mind repeatily since he learned of Vivan's betrayal. There was no doubt he cared for the people of Dawngrave and the lands of Ivalice but by this point however, the only thing that did matter at this point was the capture of Vivian since she couldn't die permanently. First things first, If he didn't calm down Alia, he wasn't sure how she be for the rest of the day and he wasn't willing to take that chance since the people of Dawngrave had already lost one hero they respected. Seto contiuned to stare at Alia, even after she finished ranting, without any hesitation, Seto laid his warm right hand on top of Alia's right hand.

Seto
"You need to relax Alia, there's no point in getting angry about it now, I've already known about this information for some time. I need my Lioness to be calm and collected, there is no reason to give in to your anger and fustration but I understand your pain.
We will not allow Vivian to destroy our dream, I've worked too hard to make our dream a reality to have it be shattered by some immature, preverted brat. I will make Ivalice a paradise no matter WHAT I must do.
From a warefare prospective, I can see her reasoning for doing such a thing, destroy or cutting off any water or food supply would cripple an enemy force easily and make them easy prey. Destroying the land or the water will kill the land but I suppose If she gathered enough master tier mages that excelled in nature magic, she might be able to refertilize the land and the rivers with water magic but that would take many years most likely and even If she did, there would no people or those who would settle here, Astorea on it's own doesn't have a massive population and Felderan is our enemy at the moment until the warrior princess takes over.
I cannot lie however, she is.......similar to me in certain ways, I have seen the true nature of humanity and what war truely causes yet I am not better. If it meant protecting kingdom and my people, I would gladly sacrifice the innocent....As horrible as that sounds, no matter how hard you would try, you can't save every innocent in war, it's not feasible.....If there going to die, I would rather have their death be meaningful at least.
Vivian is her own master, she may serve the harem duchess now but I doubt it will last that long, she seeks power and wisedom, something that isn't obtainable easily through conviential means. Vivian will do whatever she needs to secure the power and wisedom she seeks, wether sacrificing thousands to using her own body.....Even I'm not that cold......I'm not a demon, I don't enjoy killings unless it's truely necessary for the greater good. I suppose she does wish to own the land herself so she can whatever she wants and she use Aalam as a puppet Duke to get what she wants......well unless she enjoy's causing chaos like that idiotic girl Briar.
Still, she's not an complete idiot, she won't nor can't make a move against Ivalice without a significant amount of resources or followers so we have some time to do and formulate a plan. My objective is to capture her since death is meaningless here under normal circumstances, I will build shall we say a special dungeon for those who perform treason in the future, I will be sending Vartock out to collect the inhabitats of this special dungeon.
Remember this well Alia, my Lioness, I am the necessary evil in this world, there cannot be darkness without light and the vice serta. You will be the light while I am the darkness, there is no way to get around it. The sooner you accept that and understand what I am, the better....This is how it is.
