  3. Grinning as she made her way through Stokbon on her way to Brisshal, the short felis skipped through the streets of the town. She had been wanting to make it to Brisshal for quite some time, it was the area where new players spawned which meant that Ilya could potentially meet people! Hopefully they will be nicer than the first character I had met here.. Hopefully someone as nice as my best friend, Harveste.. Without much thought, Ilya had made her way to the grassy hills of Brisshal and towards the forest. She had decided to make her way to the watering hole that she had been ever so fond of with her meeting of Caiden.. I never really liked him all that much.. Without thinking of much else, Ilya had continued her hike of the grassy hills, where the grass gnomes resided.

Thinking back to her first day out in Terrasphere she had remembered that she had ignored the spawn entirely. Instead, Ilya had been focused on the fact that she had wanted to see Dunnstads, the rocky beach far to the east. With a wild grin she recalled her day of adventuring, and even her evening spent in the inn. She had been accompanied by the rude @Zelrius that she had been aimlessly trying to impress. It had not been until she had no more desire to impress him, but rather disliked him that he had shown his true colors. He was slowly warming up to her, which she enjoyed ever so profoundly. Without much extra thought she had slowly grown fond of her first friend here in game.

Then her thoughts moved onto her meeting with Caiden, at first she had really liked him before she grew disdain towards him. Now her thoughts on him remained the same. After thinking of Caiden she thought of Harveste. Oh how nice she is! I hope I can meet more people as nice as her..

It had not been long before Ilya had stopped at the edge of the forest.

  4. Angel stretched as she laid there in the grass, having just sent a message to her friend, Luna. She sincerely missed living in more rural areas in the real world. Not that she ever laid anywhere for long when she wasn't unconscious, but New York didn't have a ton of grass, and she didn't even know where to find a park or anything yet.

Some people might think the girl with near-infinite energy would enjoy people constantly, and they were right to a point, but she was accustomed to having more privacy than she felt like a big city gave her too. It was rather different than what she was used to. Maybe in the future she'd really enjoy it.

The ebony-haired human girl sat up suddenly before hopping to her feet. Now that she'd stretched and enjoyed nature for approximately a minute it was time to find some new adventure. She reattached her sword and brushed at the twin tails of her hair a bit. She was finally getting used to the feeling of being someone else when she was in the game...

  7. The trees were swaying in the very light breeze as Ilya stood on the border between the grass hills and the thick forest. The soft yet thin cat ears that resided upon Ilya's head shifted lightly as a rustling could be heard in the hills behind her. Based upon the amount of noise, Ilya assumed it was not that far off Most likely a rabbit?, yet as another noise was made.. That of metal being clanged against a sheath, Ilya turned around slightly, PKer? Ilya had yet to meet any PKer of any kind, rather not wanting to, knowing full well that death afflictions would haunt someone forever. Glad I have not died yet... Focusing once again on the noise, she roughly calculated the thing was about one fourth a mile away.
Taking off, low to the floor, Ilya started to race towards the noise, taking a rather brisk and wide path, one that would not be in direct view of the object that had made the noise. The grass swayed as Ilya dashed forward, some clumps of grass ripping from the ground at the speed the young girl was travelling at.
Having reached the origin of the faint noise she had heard, Ilya was located behind the object of noise. Peeking up from the hill that she lay on the side of, Ilya silently watched. It was a rather short girl, much like herself. Damnit, looks like an inch taller than me... With a small sigh, Ilya continued to examine the girl that had made the noise. She had a rather beautiful sword in her sheath. If Ilya were to guess, she would say that one of the girl's masteries was in fact, slash. She was getting better at observing people and seeing their weaknesses and strengths. One great man once said, that all it takes is to clash swords one to know their heart. I assume it would work with her sword and my gauntlet should it come to a fight.. But based on the looks of her, she seems to be a beginner... Continuing her observations, she focused on the gorgeous outfit the girl had on, I should change my appearance sometime.. Maybe wear something else.. Or edit my hair style... Hmmm... Ilya then noticed the long ebony hair that was pulled into two buns, from the buns the hair escaped and dropped low, almost touching her thigh. Taking note that the girl seemed rather weaker, and a rather new player, Ilya took her chances in sliding down the hill, "Hello there!"
The shout that escaped from Ilya's mouth fluttered through the air as the sound traveled towards the girl.

  8. "Nyah?" Angel started looking around frantically for where the greeting had come from. She'd thought she'd been alone and the one other person she'd seen walk past in the last few minutes was already a fair distance away.

Ah! There, one of the cat girls was greeting her. Probably a player or something. She stood on her tiptoes and waved a big, exaggerated wave. "Heyyy!" she wondered if she was supposed to know this person or if she was just frantically trying to meet a new person. Angel could be pretty frantic, herself, though currently she was a little too confused for it.

"Can I help you?" she asked as the cat girl came closer. "I'm not sure we've met... mostly because so far I've met fairies and humans if you don't count the people I haven't actually talked to when I passed. Did we pass each other earlier? Or are you just even more friendly than I try to be?~" she wondered aloud.

  11. The blunt and surprising greeting that Ilya received from the short human girl (though Ilya is one to talk) was all too unexpected. Ilya's eyes brightened, accepting the high amounds of positivity and optimism that rebounded off the girl in front of her. The large amount caused Ilya to instantly grow a liking to her, that and the amount of beauty and aura that the girl held about.

"I do not think we have met before. I actually came over here because I had actually been passively lounging around doing nothing but standing near the border to the forest and the hills before I heard something rummaging about. First I thought it was a simple rabbit, but the clicking of metal gave off the fact that it was most likely a player. Wanted to check it out myself.."

A wide soft grin set Ilya off from some weird psychotic murder and those that were actually nice, which caused her to lean towards the latter. "And no, I have never seen you around before. I am Ilya, nice to meet you!"

Without much hesitation or thought, Ilya's arm was extended and her hand was wide open. The very motion that she was portraying was of one that wanted to shake hands as an introduction.

  12. "Wow," Angel giggled and grasped the girl's hand for a handshake. "You must really be a good listener. Not like me at all~" she was all smiles and giggles for her new cat friend. "Is it because of your kitty ears orrrrrr am I just a bad student?" she stuck the tip of her tongue out and rubbed the back of her head to show she was just being silly and not actually being self-depreciating.

"Anyway, I actually didn't know I was being that noisy. I don't have a lot of metal on me..." she examined her clothes again to be sure; it was still the cloth items she'd added to the character at creation that she probably would be dead for wearing in the real world if her father saw her.

She glanced back up, her eyes lingering on the cat girl's ears for a moment. She wanted to touch them. "Oh! I'm Av- Angel!" she introduced herself. "It's great to meet you too. It's kinda one of the reasons I like this world. There's so many new people to meet, you know?"

  13. It took mere seconds for Ilya to nod towards the sheath clasped against the girl, "Your sword made all the noise.. And yeah, I suppose you could say it helps to be a Felis when it comes to enhanced senses..."

Taking note that the rather beautiful girl was staring at her ears with a sort of elated look, Ilya laughed lightly, "If you want to touch them, go right ahead. They are pretty soft if I say so myself. So is my tail."

She flicked her cat tail, shifting lightly to let it come into better view for the girl, "Ooh, such a pretty name. Angel. I like it! And yes there is. You seem quite nice in yourself."

Also taking note of the almost slip up the girl made, she took thought in that Angel was indeed new, "When did you join Terrasphere if you do not mind my asking?"

  14. Angel hadn't really thought of her name as pretty. She suppsed it was. If it were a real life name she would think it was a pretty-sounding name for sure, probably for either the sweetest girl in the world or the biggest jerk ever, one of the two. She'd just come up with the name on the fly like most people who made MMO characters though. "Er, thanks," she gave an appreciative grin and scratched her nose a little self-consciously. "Ilya's pretty too."

Then she was asked why she joined Terrasphere or Terra or whatever people who played longer than her called it. Everyone seemed to have different nicknames, but that was okay too. "I kinda found it and wanted something to distract me from the fact that I just moved?" she admitted with the tiniest of shrugs. Normally she'd have probably tried to make that sound less factual and more excitable but she'd been asked this question several times already. "How about you?"

She decided to give into her natural instincts and pet Ilya's ear, then both ears with each hand, though she hesitated when she thought of seeing if the tail was just as soft. It seemed more personal than ears.. but then she didn't really know since she'd never had cat ears or a tail, herself. "You are soft~" she agreed. "Can I pet your tail too?"

  15. Smiling Ilya spoke, reciting what she had told Harveste when she had asked what her.. "Ilya is what my very first friend nicknamed me on the very frist game I played. It kind of is a different entity than the life I live in the real world. It is sort of, a new beginning. As the definition, Ilya means 'My God is Yahu' although I use my name based on the urban defenition of it. 'The sole embodiment of intelligence and beauty.' It is generally used to describe someone who has good manners. It reminds me to be the best I can be, to suit this new name I have emodied." Having quoted what she herself had said she grinned, this time quoting Harveste. "I prefer the urban definition. They can be quite fun comparatively."

Upon having her ears pet, Ilya resisted the urge to let out a whee of delight. It feels so good.. Her own mind filled with the thought of Zelrius. He had been the first to ever actually touch her ears.. Nodding her head, she held her tail out to Angel. "Go right ahead!" Ilya then continued to talk, "So.. why did you pick the name Angel? Also.. Anything you wanna do with our time together? I know of this one place we could go to.."

  16. Ilya gave her a perfectly recited reasoning behind Ilya and the meaning behind the name. It all sounded very well thought out and special, and Angel of course respected that on the level she could, but it was a bit too much information for the scatterbrained girl to catch all at once, so she ended up with one of those blank 'I wish I understood everything you said' stares, though she was still smiling pleasantly. "Um... I think Ilya is really pretty," was about all she could come up with.

Instead of thinking too hard on Ilya's explanation, Angel reached out to gently touch about the upper half of Ilya's tail. Like a real cat's it wasn't the same texture but it was obviously still fun. "I should have been a kitty," she couldn't remember the name of the races yet. Angel had a decent memory but not when it came to terms. "But then I'd just pet my own tail all day. Or is it not the same...?"

"Anyway uh, you want to do something? Um, sure! We can go to a place. I was just wondering what I wanted to do today~" she giggled. "Seriously though your kitty ears and tail are sooo cute."

  17. Letting out a rather adorable giggle, Ilya recognized the face that Angel was making all too much. She remembered having made those faces back when she was in her own father's meetings. "From here on out, I will not overload you with information." With a determined nod of her head, she knew how difficult it would be for her. She was one who oftentimes spoke rather too much.. Or not enough.

Thinking on what Angel now produced out of her mouth, Ilya thought of how to word it, "Felis.. That is what kitties are called. As for it being the same? It is not the same as you petting my tail. Though it is soft.." Looking down at her own tail, she resisted the urge to feel the soft fur that resided on it. Still not as soft as Choji.. Grinning at Angel she spoke up, "Well.. If you ever want to, there are options to change your race."

Thinking now onto the "invitation" from Angel, Ilya grinned, "Awesome! Well, follow me then! We can talk and walk." Accepting the compliment from Angel was quite easy for Ilya as she said thank you towards Angel. As she lead her towards the Water Hole she had been at with Caiden, Ilya now started up a new conversation. "So.. what do you like to do? And what masteries did you pick?"

  18. "Feelis. Got it!" Yup, Angel got the pronunciation wrong immediately. She wasn't trying to, but she was better at remembering promises and people than facts and data. It was a real problem in her academic life. "It's a cute word. Maybe if I change that's what I'll do. I could be even cuter~" she giggled. "I mean, not that I'm bragging or anything. I uh, I just got to design Angel so......" she trailed off slightly awkwardly, but her actual conversation didn't skip a beat.

"Anyway," she sped up to keep up with the kitty girl Ilya and even reached over to pat her ear again. This was going to become a regular thing if they became friends. She could feel it. "My masteries aaaare Illumancy, Slashing, and Music." It was the first time she'd gotten her list 100% right. "Heh, I actually remembered. I guess when everyone asks it eventually gets stuck in my noggin." she bonked her own head a few times to emphasize her hardheadedness.

"If I had to guess, I'd bet your mastery thingies involved cats, nature, and claws." She actually hadn't stopped to check if the Felis had claws. And she wasn't being silly, she genuinely couldn't remember what masteries were available and liked to make guesses off of first impressions. "I mean, you tracked me from over a hill and it must take skill to have such soft fur."

  19. Her tail flicked as the girl mispronounced the name, which was fine with her. Looking at Angel she grinned, ”Nothings wrong with saying you look cute. You did create your character so you have full reign to determine what you are and what you are not.” In fact, Ilya herself thought Angel was adorable.. In a childish way..

As the two reached the forest, Ilya listened as Angel finally spoke upon her own masteries. Nodding her head, they all made sense. Especially with the sword dangling at the girl’s hip. With Illumancy, Ilya understood. After all, she herself had changed from a previous mastery to Illumancy.. Or at least she was in the process of changing. Illumancy not only healed yourself, you could also heal others… Then there was the aspect of devoting yourself to a god and gaining their powers. Which was what Ilya mainly switched over for. She wanted the power of the gods.

”To admit right now, my masteries are so far.. Body Combat. My other two are in the process of being changed. I just need admin approval..” Glancing at the bright sky as they made their way through the forest thickets, Ilya grinned. ”Want me to teach you how to jump from tree to tree?”

  20. Of course most everyone would make something cute or cool or pretty or some human ideal given free reign. A few outliers would really get into the roleplaying aspect and purposefully try to make someone physically and/or mentally flawed, but yeah, just about every player was pretty in some sort of masculine or feminine way. Even Angel had noticed that. It was a good first hint as to who was a player and who wasn't if for some reason you weren't quite sure.

Angel herself was considering the possibility of switching a mastery now that she was starting to understand things a little better. She liked her sword as a backup and she liked being able to be her own bandaid... she wasn't sure why she'd chosen music at this point and frankly didn't think she'd be any more likely to play an instrument in this world than the real one. Maybe she'd get some more offensive magic and red mage it up. You know, if it were like a final fantasy concept.

"Uh..." The girl looked up when she was asked about learning to jump from tree to tree. Of course, Angel was... Ava, and that sounded fantastic. "Of course!" she burst out. "That sounds great! I don't need like a tail for balance or something do I?"

  21. With a humorous tint in the eyes of the red-haired felis, she shook her head no. "You do not need a tail. It is more dependent upon your strength, and mobility.." She looked at the trees around until she found a perfect tree. Walking up to it, she looked around for a branch that she could latch onto. "I normally just jump as I have the strength to do so, but in the beginning I was unable to.. You need to use the tree trunk to push yourself upwards and grab onto the branch.. Like this.." Ilya took a few steps away from the tree.

Jogging towards the tree she spoke again, "I would recommend running at full speed.." She had reached near the tree trunk, before leaping into the air, not jumping very high as she was taking into account of Angel's height, and how she would have less strength than Ilya did at full capacity, Ilya reached her arms upwards. She grabbed onto the branch that she had picked out, before swinging in the air. "Now you use your arms and your legs and climb onto the branch." She started to swing her body, using her arm muscles to help get her up onto the branch. Now able to stand in the tree she looked down at Angel, "Your turn!" Stepping to a different branch she challenged Angel to climb up to the branch Ilya had.
