Vartock, spending his entire weeks training, figured recruiting brad would be easy but if he could potentially recruit more he figured it would benefit himself. so he decided to go to the city of stokbon to have some tea maybe even ask around maybe recruit someone. you never know what your going to need in this world. Vartock knew very well the kingdom of astorea needed more than just npc he needed it to feel more alive and like that was home. Then of course the loyalties had to be tested but i guess thats why he was here in stokbon in the first place. Vartock walked through which he described as the city of lights its amazing all this human architecture yet somehow our scientific minds havent evolved past shooting magic with swords bows and arrows. Still nonetheless he was ready for chit chat with anybody at this point even a dog as long as it kept him company. Vartock walked through the city streets seeing lights everywhere building to building. Vartock smiled a little bit admiring what mankind had accomplished so far even in virtual realities architectures like this are a site to see. Vartock walked over into the tea pub opening the door which vartock was surprised considering seto the duke was nothing but a tent and a bartender for tea. Nonetheless vartock walked inside and made his way over to a chair where he planted his 6 foot massive body down firmly in the seat. He then asked the waitress who was young and beautiful if he could have some green tea with honey. He sat within the bar awaiting his tea thinking about his past world war 3 explosions why these nightmares never added up with his memories. Vartock loved battle he craved for it a warrior never rests even if the occasion calls for it. Its a very rare thing to find people who love martial arts and dark magic like himself. I mean seto is cool but not for his level seto looks down on others as if hes lifted on some invisible pedestal of greatness. Then again i guess thats what your getting when you 1 of the 2 most powerful players in the game then ots really hard to find equals. Vartock was motivated to become stronger than his own master maybe even one day become king. Vartock loved the idea hed be the best king anybody could want of course he had to jump certain hoops but maybe just maybe if he played his cards right it could be done. Lost away in thought the lady finally grabbed vartocks attention when setting his tea down in front of him. Vartock grabbed his tea and gulped it down in one swing dropped the cup and said reload. The bartender just left the tea kettle with vartock he sipped slowly through his second cup. @Jana
Ah, Stokbon. Jana had heard a little bit about the area, and just how beautiful it all looked when the sun set. She pictured it looking somewhat similar to the New York City skyline for some reason. It had been one of the prettiest things she had ever seen in real life, other than the Valley of Lights back in Italy. Though nothing could have really prepared her for this. Jana had been meandering out in the woods for most of the day. She had been working on her skills, adventuring, and petting a few white ducks she had found lazing by a pond. When the sun started to sink, the brunette decided it was time to head back to civilization. What she hadn't expected was running across the path to Stokbon. In fact, she had been meaning to go in the opposite direction. It wasn't her fault that these paths looked completely identical and was easy to get turned around. Still, she didn't like the idea of running around in the dark without a good handle on which direction she was taking. So into Stokbon she went, eyes growing wide with wonder once she stepped foot into the city. It was unlike anything she had witnessed in or out of game. Lights were strung across the walkways, attached in zig zag motions to the buildings that lined the streets. Lamp posts were decorated in garland where fireflies took refuge. Paper lanterns sat in clusters around each doorstep, some with whimsical hand painted scenes on them. Each window in each building seemed to glow with a warm inviting light. The main strip looked as if a festival were in mid swing with all of the lovely decorations and comfortable lighting. In the sudden excitement, Jana decided she needed to unwind before exploring this sparkling town. Her brown eyes searched for a place to stop and sit for a minute, gaze landing on a shop with its door propped wide open. A little sign hung from above the entrance with a sketch of a teapot carved into the wood. Deciding it was good enough, Jana made her way through the throng of people. Ducking into the tea shop, she let her eyes roam across the scene. The walls were a shade of light brown, hardwood floors covered in heavy, colorful rugs. Half of the interior didn't match with each other but she assumed that's what gave the little shop its charm. A few interesting characters sat at different places inside, one occupying a table by a window, another hiding away in the back with a hot mug of tea and a book. A few others dotted the area minding their own business. Jana found herself melting in with the rest of the occupants, her feet moving to a table set diagonal to the window. She didn't take much notice of the person at the neighboring table, instead she was captivated by the wonderful smells of fresh tea in the air. A young woman approached her, a polite smile on her lips as her fingers shyly fiddled with the apron around her waist. "Welcome," the waitress bowed, "would you like to order something?" Jana puckered her lips to one side, squinting up at the menu over the bar. "I'll take the special," the brunette decided, giving the waitress a nod to confirm her order. The young lady scurried back behind the bar to let the barista know of the new order. In the mean time, Jana found herself looking about the many art pieces hanging from the walls, to the bookshelves in the back. She sank deeper into the soft cushion of her chair as she felt just as at home as if she were in her mother's apartment, sinking into the couch.
