Now back in the Prayer Hall, he tried his best to follow the instructions of the Scythe, knowing not to do once he had completed the task given to him by the inscription, but knowing he'd sure as hell find out one way or another.

Standing directly in front of the statue of the Angelic Figure the man gazed upon it, hoping upon hope that this was what it referred to, though doubt beset him. And then he spun away from the Figure, making four steps away from it and then turning directly to his right, Toward the Western Room, and making another two steps, now fiddling with the roof and floor, swinging the Scythe about, trying everything he could to see if it would work.

Action: Follow the instructions on the Scythe to the best of my ability, Attempting to figure out the puzzle as best as he could. @Pandora

As he opened the door, he saw nothing in the room save some odd blue wall at his front. By its sheen and its translucence he thought he found another window that could be the path towards the thing that the windows in the east and west rooms were hiding from them, but although the wall was translucent, he could not make out what was behind it due to the extreme darkness that obscured whatever was behind it. He then tried to examine it, and that was when he felt something was shaking. He then bolted towards the prayer hall and ran towards the two other people, and he was shocked at what he saw. What was once a statue became some sort of gateway to another part of the church, and the singular door was small but just enough to fit one standing person. So it was what was referred to by what was written on the scythe that one of the persons picked up. There was still one room that the two of them have not explored, but since the two others seemed bent on thinking what was beneath that room, he then move towards the door and opened it.

Holy shit, you did it.

Emil stood there in awe of Zelrius, his scythe, and the underground door that had suddenly opened to them. Like Bradwynne, he took a step forward, fully prepared to enter this new area and explore it like the rest of the church. However, as soon as he got close to the opening, he felt a forcefield stopping him from moving forward. Frowning, he extended a hand and felt the wall in front of him as solid as brick even though he couldn’t see anything in his way.

Invisible wall, he told the others, feeling each corner and even knocking to see if there was a ripple effect. Nothing; no sound, no ripple, nothing that would indicate that there was a wall standing in the way. Guess we can’t access this part yet. Probably need a full roster or something. Grunting to himself, he shrugged and took a step back.

He was winded and glancing at his energy only reminded him of his. Though they hadn’t fought anything, the entire atmosphere had been an oppressive mental drain from the beginning. Well, I suppose that’s indication enough that we should get out of here.

He gave a smile and salute to the other two men, turned on his heel, and prepared to walk out of the church for good. ​
