  1. Was Angel blushing? Luna wasn't sure if she'd ever actually stopped blushing, so it wasn't like she could poke fun at Angel for doing the same, it was a rather surreal situation after all. It wasn't every day that you were nude in a hot spring with somebody you were the same age as in real life, but had only really met online using virtual avatars that were also roughly the same age. Maybe. She wasn't the best judge of age by appearance, so it wasn't as if she could accurately guess. She'd gone for an older looking young woman, though Angel definitely looked younger than Luna did.

She smiled, glancing away now that she felt she had a little more control of her eyes, though every time she scanned past Angel she stopped for a moment or two. It was practically physically impossible not to. Still, Angel seemed extremely excited about the possibility of them eventually meeting up in real life, which was still a rather scary idea for Luna. There was no way to know for sure that the other was who they said they were, it was more about taking a leap of faith, honestly. And she wasn't all that great at those, though she'd also never really tried before.

"A-ah, you're r-right, that does s-sound lonely. I-I used to s-spend all day in m-my room before this game. I-I guess technically I still do..."
She giggled, blushing slightly at the fact that she was laughing at her own little attempt at a joke. "B-b-but it does s-s-sound nice to meet u-up. Maybe o-one day w-when we know each o-other a little better...?" And when Luna actually had the courage to go outside. Meeting people in her real body was still a scary thought.

  2. Angel's cheeks puffed out again. "Or I could just come to you," Angel was not good at hiding her emotions or her intents no matter what she might think. It was obvious she was trying to sound less excitable than she was with her suggestion. One of those We could do something I really want to do. Or not. Whatever who cares? moments teens who wanted to make a good impression often had. "Pinky swear cross my heart hope to cry that I'm not some creepy weirdo. I just happen to, you know, like girls and you're a girl and we're friends about the same age but mostly I just want real world friends too."

Gah, that was another example of lacking a mouth filter wasn't it? Why the crap had she mentioned all those random facts that would point towards Angel having an interest in Luna? It wasn't like it was a flirt. It very plainly wasn't, right? She'd made it clear that she just wanted to meet the real Luna. "A-Anyway!" she scrunched up, more self-conscious than she had been a few moments ago. "I know I'm weird and overly excited a lot but I like to think it's charming. In a friendly sort of way. Unless you're at my school where people treat me like a little kid." She did look the youngest even though she was one of the older kids in her class.

  3. Luna blinked in surprise at the sudden torrent of words that escaped Angel, who seemed to think she was rejecting the offer to meet up or something? Had it come across like a rejection? Because she was kind of excited about the prospect of maybe making an actual friend. That excitement was just countered somewhat by the anxiety and worries that she carried with her practically wherever she went, no matter what sort of situation that she was in. "I-I-I don't t-t-t-think it's w-w-weird! I-I-I've met some s-s-strange people in the game, b-b-being as excited as you i-isn't even up there." It wasn't....technically a lie. There were some VERY strange people out there.

She shifted, her body becoming looser and more open as she tried to relax a little more, attempting to show just a little more trust through the act of letting her guard down a little more than she had been. Her arms slumped by her sides and her legs spread out slightly, though she did her best not to look away from the girl. "I-I-I do think it's, y'know, charming in a sense. I-I-It isn't a bad thing!" It definitely wasn't as bad as people had led Angel to believe. "I-I-I'm not saying no t-t-t-t-to meeting up. F-f-far from it..."

  4. Angel had taken to making little swirly motions in the water with her finger as she trailed off. School was hard. Despite her friendliness she 'was' considered the country bumpkin girl who had moved to a big city and who wasn't as tall as or built quite like a lot of the girls in her grade. People judged her harshly for all of that. She took it in stride, but still.

Luna genuinely made her perk up though, not just in excitement. She glanced back over at Luna, not really paying attention to her body language at the moment. She doubted she could get Luna to let them meet today, and that might be weird considering how fresh their current situation might be in each others' minds.

Actually Angel was quiet far longer than she normally was, entirely because it felt good to know Luna meant well and did want to ever see her even if it scared the poor girl. "Uhm... I totally want to hug you right now..." she mumbled. It was the best way she knew to express the surge of gratitude after her brain had fallen back to remembering her less than ideal real life situation.

  5. It felt weird when Angel went quiet, as if it wasn't something that was ever supposed to happen. The girl seemed so energetic all of the time that seeing her being quiet and thoughtful was almost an alarm bell for Luna, though she kept from saying anything in case she made an assumption that only made the situation worse than it ever needed to be in the first place. If she'd learned anything from her meeting with Lucia, it was that assumptions were most often wrong and it was best to ignore them if you could, or at the very least, they should be taken with a grain of salt.

She smiled when Angel admitted she wanted to hug, a smile of both kindness and slight awkward acceptance. It seemed like the girl was just a very physically affectionate girl, there was definitely nothing wrong with that sort of thing. She was honestly surprised that, with her friendly disposition, Angel wasn't the most popular girl in her class at whatever school that she went to. Gods, if she was somebody that went to her own high school, Luna wasn't sure how she'd feel.

"I-I-I-I erm, I wouldn't mind a hug...e-every now and then..." She glanced away, a heavy dusting of pink coating her cheeks. She didn't mean right now, but she didn't have the forethought to clarify either, nor would she TRULY care if she were hugged. It'd be incredibly embarrassing, she might slip into her more shy mode for a while, but she could probably handle it.

  6. Luna's pink cheeks were pretty cute. Touching people made her nervous, hm? Or at least, that was the idea that popped into Angel's head at the time. Of course, that did mean she had to oblige, and she quickly wrapped the girl in a thankful hug, her chin resting on the girl's shoulder for the moment. "Yay! I love hugs~" she had kind of already admitted this at least once already, possibly more, but what else was she supposed to say?

"Hugging friends is like a warm reminder that they're actually there. Thooooough...." as she explained it occurred to her they were still in the hot spring, she'd just greatly distracted herself there for a moment. "Oh right, this one's wetter than normal." What came out of her mouth was obviously not entirely what had gone through her head despite taking another moment to actually cease the hug.

Angel folded her limbs in a somewhat modest posture as she tried to hold down her urge to blush. "Thanks Luna~ I needed a real hug." she cheered up again pretty quickly despite the awkward moment. Angel didn't like to keep things awkward for long when it could be helped. She scratched her nose awkwardly as she watched Luna's own reaction. "Oh sorry, I suppose you miiiight not have meant now, huh?"

  7. She didn't have any time to react before there was suddenly another wet, naked body pressed against her as Angel hugged her, causing her to go rigid with shock and her usual nervousness, though this time she felt a little more justified in being anxious and embarrassed. She seriously hadn't meant for the girl to hug her right at this very moment, though she had to thank whatever god was out there listening to her prayers that the hug didn't last nearly as long as her earlier glomp had lasted. Then she'd have started to get suspicious. Or pass out. Either of the two could have happened.

She coughed as Angel let go, cheeks exploding into a crimson tint as she looked pointedly away, the other girl on far too full a display for her to feel comfortable looking at her. Though she...honestly didn't feel quite as faint or nervous as she'd thought she would, she wasn't shaking like crazy and she didn't feel sick with anxiety. She just felt...very shy, as if she were supposed to be standing on a small stage or something. She giggled.

"I um, I-I didn't mean r-right now, no, b-b-but it wasn't too bad..." She just hoped she hadn't invited any more public displays with that comment, since being in private with the girl was making her just a little bit braver. "J-just....next t-time I hope we have clothes....y'know...?"

  8. Angel was more than a little relieved that Luna hadn't just exploded into shyness. In fact, she had like twenty percent fewer stutters than she'd had earlier. Maybe more! Who knew, since Angel wasn't great at math. It caused her to grin the slightest bit more when Luna giggled. Her comment on having clothes made Angel fidget a bit more in turn as that all-too-rare sense of self awareness flooded into her brain. "Er, yeah I suppose so," she didn't sound reluctant but she didn't particularly sound like she'd been bothered either. It did bother her, but in a good way - if an accidental one.

"I do wear them most of the time," she elaborated. "Like a normal person. I uh, don't usually spend what's probably the majority of my face to face time with someone in... hot spring attire..." she shuffled to the side a bit at the odd thought. Their first meeting hadn't been super short, but this one had already been longer. And most of it had been here.

"Actually now that I think about it we should probably get out," she stood up quickly. "I don't know how it works in a game but in real life it can be bad to spend too long and it'd be sad if we both had our first death in a hot spring," she chuckled and reached her arms up to stretch out as much as she could after being curled up in the water for so long. As she lowered her arms she glanced at her hands. "Oh crap my fingers are all pruney."

  9. Luna couldn't help but keep giggling as Angel felt the need to clarify that she usually wore clothes, like most other people did, covering her mouth with one of her hands in an effort to at least be polite about it. It definitely wasn't mean spirited giggling though, she just found what Angel was saying pretty funny. "I-I-It's alright....I um, I know you usually wear clothes, Angel. Y-you don't have to tell me t-that you do..." She finished giggling, letting her arm fall back to her side in relaxation.

Though, now that she looked again, it seemed like her comment had made Angel feel a little bit awkward about their state of dress, since she all of a sudden wanted to leave the hot spring after being so adamant on enjoying it. Before she could say anything, Angel stood up and Luna saw. She was treated to a full frontal show before she had time to look away, focusing her gaze on the water in an attempt to hide her massive blush. Then she noticed Angel's reflection in the water.

"A-ah, u-um..." She started, before almost folding in on herself. Would it be selfish to ask for some more time in the springs? Maybe? "A-ah, m-maybe we could spend a-a few more minutes in here, p-please? I-I um, only j-just got relaxed a-and um, I'm sure it'd t-take hours to actually h-hurt us..." She did feel kind of selfish making a request like that, just as selfish as she felt when she decided to look up at Angel again, doing her best to make sure that it wasn't visually obvious that she was looking.

  10. "Hm?" Angel had literally just distracted herself with pruney fingers, but then her brain caught up with what she'd actually heard. "Oh, uhm," Angel was an accommodating girl when she thought it would make someone happy... buuuuut in this case the fact that it was someone actually available and of similar age in the real world definitely helped all things uh, considered as she glanced back down.

"O-of course, Luna." she quickly sat back down closer than she'd meant to. It was her turn to continue feeling awkward; Stuff like this wasn't even what she normally did. She'd wanted to hang out with a friend... and it turned out they were hanging out... like this. Really she was just letting the moment get to her at the moment. She crossed her legs and leaned back a little, putting weight on her palms. "Uh, this is nice." Ugh, of all the times for her brain to stop working.

"Actually, I'd like to thank you for all this," Angel finally piped up. It had been a lot less time than it felt like to Angel, who was usually filling any silence with chatter. "I don't think I'd have ever found this place by myself, and um, if you don't mind be being totally honest in a really awkward way, I'm still learning a lot about myself, not just Angel. And it's been a um, fun experience. You know, like, socially and... getting to spend some personal time with a girl like me."

  11. She smiled as Angel actually sat back down, glad that she hadn't been called out for being selfish or something, especially since she felt like requesting more time in the water was a rather selfish thing do have done. She really was glad that Angel was such a nice person, it made talking to her a lot easier, especially face to face. Of course, easy didn't mean that they wouldn't struggle from time to time, especially considering the sort of situation that they were in now. But it was a brilliant start, as far as somebody as socially awkward as Luna was concerned.

A very brief moment of silence passed between them before Angel thanked her, for some reason. She wasn't exactly sure that she'd done anything to deserve the praise, but at the very least, she could accept it without making a massive fuss over it. "I-I-I um, I don't mind you, uh, being honest like t-that. I-I'm flattered that you'd feel comfortable enough to t-tell me something like that."

She blushed, looking down as she rubbed her calves together, shifting as she struggled for something to say. "T-t-the truth is...I'm a-also learning m-more about myself. A-and I'm g-glad I'll get to uh, share it with you..."

  12. "Well we are friends." Angel just shrugged since she was leaning on her hands, though it took next to no time to start feeling restless, so she kicked her feet a little. "Even if it's mostly like being video game pen pals so far, I have fun." Angel sat back up after a moment and started playing with her hair. Did she even remember how to put her hair back how it was originally? Maybe she could put it back with a setting...?

"So um, if we're going to sit here longer I guess we should talk about something." She finally crossed her legs again so she could sit forward. "Noooormally I'd tell you about my adventures for the day before I logged off but you pretty much know everything except for a kind of boring walk through trees and stuff. Thanks to the world map I didn't even get lost so no fun stories there~" she giggled.

  13. "Y-yeah, I-I'd um, consider us to be f-friends by now..." Even if what they were doing was something that friends didn't typically do together. As far as she knew, at least, not many friends spent time with each other in only their birthday suits, so maybe they were skipping a few levels and going straight for best friends or something? It was really hard to say, but it was definitely nice to finally have somebody that she could actually call a friend, not like her school friends who just tolerated her because she never really spoke up or got in the way of their fun.

And she did suppose that they should find something to talk about, though it was a little disappointing to hear that Angel's journey had been pretty lackluster. Well, she supposed it was better to have a boring journey than a deadly one, especially with the way this world could be sometimes. "W-well um, what else is there to talk about?" She asked, brow furrowed slightly in thought as she hummed to herself. What did friends usually talk about? "S-so um, w-w-what types of m-music do you like?" They could always get to know each other better, right?

Besides, she needed to get better at actually involving herself in a conversation and Angel was the best person to practice that with. The girl was so kind and patient with her, even in a situation like this. Even though she'd only known her for a little while, it was like she felt she could trust Angel with almost anything. It was also just...actually difficult for her to manage to extend that trust. Maybe with time and some practice...

  14. Angel didn't even have to think about her favorite music genre. "I'm a pop girl," she informed her companion. "I'm not like, a huge music junky so it's mostly what I hear. I dooo like a lot of music though just because it's music. I actually listen to it a lot when I'm on my own." She puffed out her cheeks for the second or third time, but this time it was just something to do while she thought. "I'm not actually sure I could name the other stuff. Uh, there's like... Jazz and... Country... daddy likes that one..."

The girl trailed off and glanced at Luna again. She really did like seeing both of the girl's eyes. The flower was interesting but there was just something about a cute girl's eyes... Angel coughed awkwardly when she realized where her brain was starting to go again. "Uh, do you like music?" She asked. "Er uh, what kind? Do you have any pets? I don't have any pets. Our apartment won't let us, but I'm kinda allergic to cats anyway. Not too badly but enough that its really annoying for awhile after I try and pet one."

  15. Well, she supposed that it made sense that Angel was a girl that liked listening to pop music. If she were to make an assumption about it, pop was probably what she'd have guessed as the girl's favorite genre, though she was still wary about assuming things about people ever since her meeting with Lucia. Every time she nearly guessed something about somebody, Lucia's voice would ring in her head over and over, along with flashes of Alice and her frankly hideous appearance, yet childlike personality. Though, she had to wonder to herself. Angel spoke a lot about her father, yet didn't even mention her mom. Did she just live with her dad, then?

"A-ah me? I-I'm um, I-I'm a big fan of acoustic..." She smiled softly, a small pink dusting settling on her cheeks as she thought. "Y'know....j-just an acoustic guitar...or a piano...and some vocals?" It was the simple stuff that was really her her favorite, she struggled to enjoy louder, faster paced songs most of the time, though there were a few that she would listen to as guilty pleasures. "A-and I'd l-love to have a pet...b-but we aren't a-allowed them in o-our home either..." Such was the sad fact about quite a few NYC apartments. Not many owners allowed animals.

She hummed, trying to think of another question to ask that wouldn't be TOO personal. What could she ask to keep the conversation going? "U-um...h-how old are you in real life? I-if you don't mind me asking?" She glanced away, blushing a little redder. Was that too personal? "I-I'm um, I'm fifteen IRL..."
