Private - A Devilish Retreat

  1. The moon hung low in the air as a cloaked figure was seated outside, seated on a porch at one of the many inns that dotted Stokbon. Yet despite the numerous amounts, this was one of the only ones that had an outside porch. The cloak on the figure hid almost everything about the person. They could either be NPC or player. They could potentially be hiding a Caenis tail, or potentially be hiding elf ears. Nontheless, the cloaked figure remained silent and still. Seated at the table underneath the overhanging to give the porch coverage in case of rain. The air was quite still and held about a buzz of chill. If one were to stay out too long uncovered, they would probably get goosebumps of some sort. Yet there sat the cloaked figure, sitting in a seat on the porch drinking something from a brown mug. Each lifting of the cup brought it underneath the cloak and into a seemingly invisible mouth.

Each move and shift would create shadows across the stony-paved pathway that ran throughout the whole city. The lights coming from the porch and within the inn presenting a rather glowing feel to everything. It was then that the sound of the door opening could be heard. Light shining everywhere at once, before shutting back down again as it was closed. The footsteps that echoed across the porch seemed unrelentless as they neared the cloaked figure. The figure handed the person their mug before it was refilled with a brown steaming liquid, the person then headed inside after having supposedly finished the job they had set out to do.

  2. Zelrius had been causing quite the ruckus that night, an argument or two setting out about the legitimacy of the Presidency, and how William the Conqueror maybe shouldn't have banged so many Princes. Of course, none of that was right; The Kaiser was the rightful heir to the throne. This was the way in which the golden haired man would remember the night if you asked him. Atleast, until he got thrown out, the barkeeper insisting that it was for the now drunk Zelrius' own safety than it was that he actually cared (Or understood) whatever the hell it was he was talking with. The one thing that the swordsman does remembering him saying is he could keep buying drinks, he would just have to do it from outside.

So be it, thought the man as he slumped up to a chair, not noticing the person already sitting at that table, though when he eventually saw the cloaked figure, the man had nothing in mind other than Ale. And that sparked another memory, and now Zelrius thought he was still competing for the Ale King title, and that this was a challenger. He waited for that same tavernkeep to bring out a similar mug full of that sweet dark liquor, before declaring a challenge to the cloaked Figure and drinking his fill.

"I em the god-dathmed bist drinker 'ere, yknow?"
He said, half bragging, half reassuring himself that was true, still convinced that this was a match of Ale King.

  3. The cloaked figure let out a scoff, yet to be revealed as to who it was. Ignoring the stranger that had managed to not only get kicked out of the inn only to be told to drink outside of the parlor. Ignoring others as a forte, the cloaked figure continued to sip on the drink that was held inside the mug. The gentle scent of chocolate coating the air only to be snuffed out by the growing smell of the alcohol coming off of the drunk man seated in front of the figure. "Leave." Were the only words muttered by the figure. Due to having only been one word, no one would be able to tell whether it was a girl or a boy. The tone was rather annoyed and uptight.

Now focusing back on the hot chocolate before the cloaked figure, they brought the mug to their lips and took one more sip. Wanting to enjoy the cool, stale air before they retired for the night, the figure was annoyed by the fact that who had interrupted them was drunk.
