  1. "Uhm, in the real world I'm only just barely sixteen. Like.... literally a week or so before I started playing was my birthday," she admitted. "I don't really look sixteen though." she fidgeted a bit. "By that I mean I'm pretty short and not the most... sixteen looking." she made a gesture in front of herself to basically say she wasn't the most physically gifted without actually using words.

Angel had been avoiding too many real world questions out of habit at this point, but it was a lot easier for her to think of things to ask people in a world she knew than in a world she kind of didn't. She didn't even know what races people could pick from besides human, cat, and fairy at this point. And that mostly had to do with people that she met.

"Uh, if we're talking about real life selves, I'm obviously single or else I'd have more to talk about than my dad and me. Plus there's the fact that I've told you other facts that probably point that out..." She was trying to think of information to talk about that would be at least somewhat interesting.

"And like, hmmmm I'm really bad at sports. I'm short and not very athletic even though I move a lot. I also don't know much about them. When I was little I liked basketball because dad did but I found out short people don't really get on school teams and stuff. But that's okay, there weren't enough girls interested in it in my tiny old school so we didn't really even have a team."

  2. Oh wow, they really were very similar in age. There was only a few months between them at the most, which was a rather pleasant surprise for Luna. They were genuinely interacting with somebody their own age whenever they were interacting with each other. She did blush when Angel gestured in front of herself, looking down at her own chest and nodding. She definitely knew that feeling. Going from Luna's nineteen year old, well developed body to her real fifteen year old body was always a bit of a harsh kick from reality. She wished she could look half as good as her Luna appearance in real life.

"Y-yeah....in r-real life obviously I'm n-not e-exactly mature looking....n-not like I am here..." She wasn't sure who was taller between them in reality either, she only knew that she'd made Luna to be very tall for a woman, having been torn between somebody that looked amazonian or the white, porcelain doll look she'd also gone for. "A-and p-p-pretty obviously I'm uh, I'm a-a-a-a-also, y'know, single..." Yeah, nobody would even consider dating her in real life, considering how she acted and how she looked. She was lucky to get noticed at all, even if she wasn't a huge fan of attention.

The sports thing wasn't too much of a surprise, though learning that the girl had loved basketball was more of a surprise than she'd anticipated. She didn't strike her as the type to play a sport like basketball, though Angel really did seem to think highly of her dad, so it sort of made sense that she would like the same sports that her dad did. "P-personally I'm uh, no good at sports. I um, I f-fake doctor's n-notes to get out of g-gym class..." It was probably the naughtiest thing she did, in all honesty.

Well she had to give out some more information about herself somehow. What was even remotely interesting that she did, or sometimes did? "I-I um, also w-work in my parents s-s-store at weekends. I-I um, I take orders by phone c-call or m-manage inventory..." Phone calls were nice, there was no scary face to face interaction since they didn't have a video call system. She wished her real voice sounded more like Luna's voice though.

  3. "We. Are so destined to be friends." Angel was never a judgmental person. She was incredibly open to people despite flaws unless those flaws made someone genuinely unpleasant, such as being an unrepentant bully or something. She'd actually told off a bully in front of people once. Right before she got shoved in a locker since she was small and not very heavy for her age. And that was a year ago so she'd been smaller and even lighter.

"I mean, we're the same age, we have some of the same issues, we both like girls so that makes it easy to talk about that sort of stuff..." she was counting off on her fingers despite completely skipping over what issues they shared. Obviously Angel wasn't shy. At least, not in the sort of way that made her unable to speak to people.

"I don't have a job though. Dad pays for my stuff so far. He doesn't want me to have a job until college, and I haven't really argued," she chuckled to herself. "Uhm, I've always wanted to dye my hair, but my old school had a rule against it and I think dad would flip. So I guess wanting to dye my hair is similar..."

  4. Did she believe in destiny? No, not really, but the amount of traits they shared was actually rather incredible when she stopped to think about them with any sort of mental clarity, which was slightly hard to achieve when sat next to a naked Angel. Still, they were almost eerily similar and it was actually rather exciting for her to meet somebody so much the same as herself, yet so different at the exact same time. It made her appreciate their friendship a whole lot more than she had done beforehand.

And of course, there was the fact that they were both single and liked girls, though Luna was rather hesitant to explore the latter. She had no experience dating, or even crushing on people that she'd never met in real life. She'd crushed on a guy in the grade above her own once, but she'd been way too shy to even think about approaching him. That had been months and months ago though.

She blushed and nodded, filing everything about them both liking girls away for another time, if it ever really came up. At the very least, it meant that neither would judge the other for it, which was nice. Not that she knew many people that were actually judgemental about things like orientation or even gender, so she never really felt the need to worry about it too much. Heck, she was like, 80% sure even her parents knew, somehow. They always seemed to know everything.

"Y-y-yeah, s-s-some schools do have rules against...d-dyed hair..."
She could never really understand why, though. "I-I-I personally think those r-rules are dumb. I-i-it doesn't hurt anybody, s-so why ban it?" She was glad her school didn't ban it. She already got comments about her amber eyes. "W-w-what color would you w-want to dye it?"

  5. "Blue. No. Purple. No wait that's your hair. Pink?" Angel plainly hadn't thought her answer through before she excitedly explained to her friend what she would do if she dyed her hair. "Maybe I'd wear it different... probably not." she reached up and started to mess with her hair, but jumped again, obviously expecting her shorter hair when she'd done so. She was getting used to being Angel half the time lately, but she had sixteen years of being Ava to get in the way sometimes. She of course had to giggle at herself, though she didn't point out what she'd done.

"If we met in the real world soon, we could get like... New York is famous for pizza right? We could go to one of those places if you know any good ones. Like a dinner playdate~" she paused as she realized what word had worked its way into her sentence, despite not saying it in any real romantic context, considering playdates were for kids. She just liked to use the term. "I mean, like a dinner. I swear I can sit down long enough to eat pizza. No promises after."

Actually ending a sentence in 'like a dinner' sounded really weird. She might have tried to correct it again but she decided not to. It'd be weird to keep redoing the same sentence, even for her. Heck, the only reason she'd done so was because of the exact set of circumstances she'd found herself in.

She was pretty sure she was just chickening out of being any more bold than this. She definitely liked Luna and the fact that Luna seemed to like being around her enough to ask her to stay. That wasn't because of the nudity was it? Angel was still telling herself it was a cultural thing and it wasn't weird at all. Nah, Luna totally just liked talking. Of course, Angel did too.

  6. Luna could only giggle as Angel listed through a bunch of different colors for her hair, seemingly not really knowing what she'd want, just that she'd want something different to her normal hair color. They were all unnatural colors that she'd listed too, which probably said a lot about Angel's fun personality. Or maybe it didn't. She herself had her hair dyed an unnatural color and she wasn't exactly the outgoing or fun-loving type that people would typically expect from a girl with purple hair in the real world.

Then Angel suggested they meet up and get pizza for dinner, then seemed to suggest a playdate, only to backtrack on it a moment later. What was wrong with a playdate? Did she feel awkward using the word date because they both liked girls? She had to admit, the idea of using the word date in any context with Angel involved did make her incredibly nervous. Still, she had to admit, it wasn't a bad thought at all. "I-I um....S-sure...I like p-pizza. I know some, um, r-really good places..."

She'd probably stick to one of her favorites and just hope the girl enjoyed it as much as she did, since she wasn't all that confident with the idea of trying some new places. At least the staff at her favorite pizza parlor knew her well enough for her to be somewhat comfortable with ordering from there, even face to face. It was a nice place and the people there were pretty nice, plus it was family run too, so they didn't have to deal with new staff coming in and out constantly.

She smiled, before looking down at her hands and sighing, before standing up and stretching her hands above her head. "W-we should probably g-get out now, i-if you want? W-we've been in the w-water for quite some time and, um, any longer might n-not be healthy..." She'd practically forgotten her own nudity at this point, or at the very least, it'd stopped becoming such a large factor. She was still looking forward to being dressed again.

  7. Angel stood up almost as quickly as her companion."Yay It's a-" Of course she had to pause there to change her wording mid-sentence. "Plan!" she very nearly hugged Luna again but then stopped and instead scrunched her hands into little balls in front of her as she held her arms close to her body.

"Yeah definitely probably a good idea." She shoved her hands close to Luna's face with an amused grin. "My fingers are all wrinkled like an old lady! This game is so realistic it's kind of scary."

Angel hopped out of the spring and shook off her hair before starting to try and squeeze some water out of it. "Uh, is there an auto dry button in the menu somewhere because otherwise we rushed off without asking about towels or whatever." She shrugged and tried to remember which locker her stuff was in.

  8. "Y-y-you were going to say d-d-date, weren't you?" Luna shot back at Angel with a teasing smile as she made her way out of the water, blinking at the hands that were suddenly shoved into her face as Angel seemingly got up to follow her. Was it that special to have wrinkled skin? Then again, it did add another level of realism to the game that wouldn't have been there without it, so she could definitely appreciate the fact that the feature existed. And hey, as a bonus, she even knew why the body got wrinkled skin when it was wet!

"You know why skin gets wrinkly when we're w-wet? I-it's t-to help us grip things when we're c-covered in water." It was one of the many things she'd learned in science class at school, since she actually paid attention, but she thought maybe it'd help Angel out in a test or something if she remembered Luna telling it to her. If not, it might end up helping somewhere else.

    "O-oh right....t-towels..."
She blushed, looking down. It'd been a massive oversight to not grab some before they went in, especially since she didn't want to have to drip dry or put her clothes on whilst she was still soaked. Suddenly, an answer hit her. "A-ah! I c-could use my other b-basic Aeromancy s-spell! It'll d-dry us pretty quickly, t-though it'll be c-c-cold." She gave a quick warning, before selecting the spell. Automatically, her body went through the motions, holding a hand above her head as she twirled on one foot.

Suddenly, a fairly strong wind blew past. It wasn't anything too great, about what you might experience on a relatively windy day, but the wind was ice cold against her skin and it showed. As she dried, goosebumps formed on her arms and other parts of her body stood to attention, though the breeze was doing the job.

  9. Angel shifted her gaze off to the side. "N-Yes." She was a terrible liar so she didn't even try beyond one syllable. She'd just started to pull out her clothing when the blast of air hit her. It felt like a harlmess but chilly tornado winding around the room, and she held the shirt to herself for warmth with her eyes shut as she squealed from how surprisingly cold it was.

The moment it stopped she was already mostly dressed; she was fast when she wanted to be. Angel had Ava's 'go go go' kind of personality when she wasn't holding back after all. Pretty soon she was pulling the cropped shirt over her, though her hair was still down. She'd figure it out next time. Or maybe it would get fixed when she logged off? Who knew?

"Yup, that was definitely uh.... cold." she was doing the polite thing and waiting on Luna to get dressed before staring at something other than the entrance to the changing area. "Maybe I should learn fire magic to offset it~" she teased. She shifted her gaze slightly to grin at Luna. "That was definitely a first for me. It was really fun though. And a learning experience."

She glanced away again. "I'm not avoiding saying date because I'm afraid or anything. It's just, I don't want to be misunderstood, you know?" she shrugged. "I'd love to be asked on a date or whatever, it's just that the timing's a little weird and we haven't even met in the real world and...." she trailed off.

  10. With a giggle, Luna waited until she was sufficiently dry before actually getting dressed, the act of getting dressed taking a little bit longer than she would have liked. She was used to shirts and skirts and jeans, this whole fantasy dress thing took a little while to get used to. Still, she eventually managed to put her outfit on properly, re-equipping the flower accessory as the final piece of her outfit. Her whole look just felt totally incomplete without it, so she couldn't just keep it off.

"S-sorry about how c-cold that was....m-maybe you should learn p-pyromancy?" She giggled, holding her arms to her chest to keep herself a little warmer. Even she hadn't been expecting just how cold the wind would be, especially close to the springs, though she supposed that magically generated wind would probably feel way different when compared to the natural wind around them.

"A-and y-yes, I-I agree with w-what you said. T-the timing is very strange a-and we haven't met in real life i-indeed. W-we could fix that last part, though!" She smiled, glancing away with a slight blush. Maybe she'd gotten a little ahead of herself, but spending time with an actual, honest to goodness friend was really fun. "N-not today, o-obviously. B-but we could...always make plans....if you w-wanted...?"

She left the offer open as she fiddled with the flower that was attached to her face, covering a decent amount of it. She liked to think it added both a wild and a mysterious factor to the look of her Luna avatar. Maybe one day, if she ever felt like it, she'd change up her look. But for now she liked it. "I-I um, I did like the idea of, uh, m-meeting up for p-pizza..."

  11. Oh. Oh. OH! Luna wasn't rejecting what she'd said? Angel could only turn as pink as Luna had when she was about to freak out at that. Her eyes were as round as platters for a long moment before she finally shook her head.

"Uh, yeah! Plans!" she nodded enthusiastically. "We should uh... go... get pizza... tomorrow after school? Since you're busy on weekends?" It made sense to Ava. Why not? "We should really meet the real each other at some point right?"

Angel started trying to put her hair up properly, though it ended up more messy than it had been. Oh well. She didn't think she looked silly or anything. Just maybe a little more simple. "How'd I do?" she asked with a goofy grin. "I'm really not used to my own hairstyle, heh."

  12. "T-t-tomorrow? A-a-a-after s-s-s-s-school?" That was way sooner than she'd expected, a little bit too soon as far as she was prepared for. But she didn't want to turn the girl down just because she was nervous, that felt like it'd be way too rude and selfish of her, especially since, in a way, she was actually looking forward to seeing if they'd be friends in real life just as easily. She hummed to herself, thinking over the offer and how to reject it without outright rejecting it. She just needed more time to mentally prepare.

"I-I'd l-l-love to, b-b-but I-I'll be busy tomorrow. H-how about a-after school on m-m-monday?" That was a fair enough counter offer, right? And it gave her time to get mentally ready for their actual, face to face meetup. Honestly it was possibly one of the best ideas that she'd actually managed to come up with in a while, though honestly she didn't spend a whole lot of time coming up with ideas.

As for Angel's hair, Luna just giggled and smiled. It was a solid attempt, for sure, but it was far messier than it had been before they went in. "N-not a bad attempt. I-I could fix it u-up for you, i-if you don't w-want it to be a little m-messier...?" She offered, having plenty of experience tying hair up, since she constantly wore her own hair tied up. She'd gotten very good at the art of hair.

  13. "Of course, Monday is fine." Angel agreed. Tomorrow would have worked for the girl that didn't do her homework until last minute anyway, but this worked too. And besiiiides, they'd both just been having a rather odd day. It would give them time to stop feeling so weird about one another. Was weird the right word? She supposed it didn't matter since it was all in her head anyway. "I can get your phone number and text you a picture so we recognize each other!"

Angel hopped over and spun around to sit where her companion could mess with her hair. "Sure, you can give my hair a try," she agreed. "I gotta be honest, I haven't had someone else mess with my hair since I was like five." She'd had to learn to do it since it was just her and her father, and her dad had no idea how to do hair. Heck, he was bald because he didn't like to mess with his own hair.

  14. Phew, thank god that Angel was okay with monday because that meant she had time to get ready, get some tips from her parents and make sure that she was just as prepared as she possibly could be for this. Meeting somebody in the real world that she'd met online was supposedly a big bad idea, if you believed everything they tried to teach you in school lessons about online safety and all of that stuff.

"Y-yeah s-sure, I-I'll send you m-my phone number by p-private message, o-okay! O-or my email, s-so I can e-email it to you..." Maybe Angel wouldn't remember it in time to log off and add it to her phone, so at least by email she could read it off as she was adding it to her contacts list. It was always better to be safe when you could, than to take chances and ruin plans if they didn't pan out the way you were hoping.

She smiled, getting to work as she fixed Angel's hair to what she remembered it being, though it took her a couple of attempts to get it right properly, stepping away with a smile when it was back to how it belonged. "T-there you go! A-all fixed up, f-free of charge..." She giggled, hiding her mouth behind her hand.

  15. While her hair was being worked on, Angel calmed down a little bit. There was something relaxing about having someone style your hair, whether it was for fun or actually fixing it like in this case. She did her best to hold still, but she did open a menu and start writing her own PM as Luna was working.

By the time she giggled at her work, Luna would just be receiving Angel's own phone number as Angel raised her hands up to test out her hair. "Oh hey that does feel right!" She had to glance around to notice the mirror and hopped up to take a look. "Yup! Crisis averted!" she turned back to Luna. with a quick and cute spin. "You're a lifesaver, Luna~" she giggled. "What if my hair had been unfixable? I bet that's never been a problem to worry about in a game before."
