In the lush forest of Brisshal, Lues wandered the woods, fara away from any sort of well-trodden paths for herbs and other flora that might seem of good use to his alchemy work. It had only been a day or two since Lisa had entered the world of Terrasphere, and had yet not quite gotten over the beauty of it all. Her surrounding almost had a sort of magical ambience to it. And maybe it was, it was within a game after all. Spotting yet another new plant, like many times earlier today, Lues dug it out to it’s roots. The cold wet dirt sticking to the lines of of her character’s gloves, a strong scent of greenery, all so very real yet not. It was no unpleasant smell by any means, it rather stirred a feeling for exploration Lisa never before had. Walking through what appeared to be an exit from the greenery surrounding him, Lues found himself standing in a small open flowerfield. Trees were still in every direction around him though, so he wasn’t really out of the forest. It was a modest sanctuary for flora where branches of ’ancient’ trunks didn’t block out the gentle warm rays of the sun. Even so, what perhaps stood out most in the middle of it all, was the every so conspicuous girl sprawled on her back on top of a flower bed. Even from afar, one could see their chest slowly rising up and down rhythmically, the person was clearly fast asleep. Lues wasn’t all too familiar with the Brisshal forest wildlife but… Wasn’t this kind of dangerous? Especially in an NPCs perspective. Maybe it was one of those plants that pretended to be human and in kind, lured people into their territory. Before he knew it, Lues loomed over the sleeping beauty with a cocked head studying her thoroughly, like a hawk inspecting mice. ”She looks normal enough.” he said while poking her cheek lightly with a stick, given the merest tired grunt back in resistance. Was it an NPC or a player then? ”What are you doing sleeping all the way out here?” Lues leaned in closer and flicked her forhead.
Angel's eyes opened with a start. And by start, well, she yelled out in surprise as she sat up rather quickly once the speaking and the poking actually woke her up. "Huh, what?" She hopped up and spun around and stumbled back a step or two, eyes wide in surprise. "Why are you poking me? Did I fall asleep?" Angel glanced down at her hands. It was immediately obvious she'd been napping without logging out, and she was kind of surprised that it was possible. "You could have picked a squishier stick to poke a girl with, you know..." she rubbed her cheek, looking just the smallest bit cross as her ebony twintails blew gently in the wind. "Anyway, who are you? Not some bad guy I hope...?" she wasn't going for her weapon yet but the way this man... woman...? yeah, the voice had sounded masculine.
”I say I’d make the nicest villain in the land if I went out of my way to wake up my victim.” Lues retorted back sarcastically to the strange girl’s paranoia without much jest in his tone. He held no interest in PvP or NPC slaughter. Well, not as of yet anyway. It was in Lues belief that it’d be sort of a waste not to try every aspect of a game out at some point. He was going to keep himself to exploring with some questing for now though. ”I was actually just out here gathering herbs when saw you sleeping in the open wilderness.” he shrugged as he let go of the stick used back from whence it came. Resting his one hand on his hip, Lues cleared his throat lightly into the other. ”I am Leus Gray, and no I can’t really say I’m a bad guy. I’m sorry I couldn’t find a squishy enough stick for your tastes miss…?” Lues was in fact not sorry in the slightest however, he never intended to massage her into a deeper slumber. @Angel Singer
"Well who doesn't like a polite villain?" Angel reasoned as she dropped her guard. She was overly trusting, really. She'd just been surprised. "I'm Angel, and someday I want to be poked with a squishy stick because that sounds strange and probably fun. Maybe it tickles..." she mused to herself. Angel seemed to completely miss the man's sarcasm, but at least she understood he'd been joking about being a villain. "You must really like masks. You kind of sound like a guy but your robes are kind of thick and I can't really tell..." she admitted. "I like masks too though. I mostly wear them to be silly or for Halloween party things back where I used to live... how come your mask has a really long nose anyway?"
Lues raised an unseen eyebrow beneath the mask. It’s not like he’d been expecting this ’Angel’ to straight up lash out at him for his somewhat snarky behavior, but this completely oblivious attitude was just odd. Overly optimistic? Maybe. Something along the lines of: Great, my first real conversation in this game ended up with a wierdo, was what popped up in Lues head. ”That’s an uhh… Unique dream you have there to say the least.” he let out in half bewilderment, as he didn’t really have much to say in the way of properly adding to a statement one might hear from someone half asleep. Maybe she was supposed to be some sort of fairy or forest spirit? It was a fairly common theme for those kind of creatures to have a sort of sporadic playfulness after all. But does forest spirits celebrate halloween though? Yeah, probably not huh… Though he was fairly certain, and found it hard to imagine an NPC this trusting alone in the middle of the forest with a complete stranger. Maybe one should test whether this was a player or not. ”If you must know, this one is male, though I don’t really understand peoples suspicion and curiosity of ones looks and gender here. Most hide their true appearance behind the avatar regardless no?” he’d taken note of thus from his experience in town. NPCs programmed to wary of dubious cloaked characters might be one thing, but obvious players? Like some sort of worldwide RP he didn’t sign up on partaking in. At least this ’Angel’, appeared not to be one of those types however, which made Lues feel a bit less irritated about it all. ”About why the getup and mask though, I did my best to copy the aesthetic of a Plague Doctor from the 17th century with their bird masks.” Hmm… This was sorta more embarassing than he’d thought. To have to outright explain ones outfit to someone else. It was sorta late to back out now though wasn't it. ”I’m just a personal fan of the theme really, and I don’t really know why they wore beaked masks, I might look it up now after the question have been asked though.” Glad to be hiding his somewhat troubled face, Lues looked around a bit to shift focus from the girl in front of him. He didn’t have very much time to play in the world today. The boredomes of work the next day came to mind and couldn not stop him from letting out a quiet sight. ”Anyway, I need to get myself back to gathering my herbs here. They won’t really hop into the pouch themselves you see.” Lues deprecated. ”So now, if you’ll excuse me.” he very much wanted to try and at least fill three pouches for afterwork tomorrow. So that he could actually try experiment a bit with this alchemy stuff for a bit in the evening. Lues patted Angel’s shoulder as he passed her by, and only just then realised she was about a head shorter than himself. The little lady looked as if she was probably around the same height as himself. In real life, it hadn’t really dawned uppon him until now, but the new body thing really made quite a difference. Maybe he’ll go see how far up he can reach later. When none else is around ofcourse… @Angel Singer
"I have all kinds of dreams, a lot of them are kind of silly, but it would be to see them happen anyway. Oh, and it's probably obvious but this one is a girl," Angel mimicked cheerfully, pointing a thumb at her chest below her collarbone. At least his explanations had been short enough to understand. So far people had a way of explaining way too much with every question and while Angel did appreciate their efforts it was hard enough to pay attention to everything when there wasn't a paragraph of explanations. "I was just wondering. Though now I kind of wish I could take your mask off and see what you look like. That'd proooobably be rude though, huh?" Angel hooked her hands together behind her back as she watched the plague doctor man turn to start looking through herbs and weeds and whatever else was on the floor. Angel was no botonist. Once he picked one, she crouched down and helped pick another, only to drop it in his pouch for him. "I don't actually know what a plague doctor is. They sound kind of evil. Plagues are like diseases right?" She didn't pay a lot of attention in school. Some things stuck, others didn't. "But you don't seem like a bad guy. Even if you have a bird beak. Ohh do you have a bird beak under the mask?!"
