  1. "Well yeah, of course tongues are useful," she stuck out her own once more and went back to her soup while Luna asked her about getting changed. "Weeelll I don't think pizza places are very fancy. And also my school's just a normal public school so there's no uniforms." She was fond of her yellow jacket though. She would probably just wear that jacket, a skirt and some tights for the cold weather.

"I'd say you can wear whatever you think is cutest. But that... won't be hard." She only paused there because for the first time she realized she'd said something remotely flirty. It was more of an honest compliment about a perceived appearance based on Luna's character than a flirt. But oh well.

  2. Oh god why was Angel still flirting with her? She really wasn't sure what had caused Angel to suddenly become so flirty and open with her, but since they both liked girls, somewhere in Luna's mind she recognized the idea that Angel might potentially see her as a potential date. It was strange to consider the idea that somebody was interested in her, even if there was a huge chance that there was no way Angel or anybody could possibly like her in that manner. "A-a-ah...w-we just h-h-have a school jacket..." It didn't look too official though, no logo or anything really. It was just a regular brown jacket. She wasn't really sure why her school had even bothered, but she decided she wasn't going to bother getting changed.

And then Angel flirted with her even more. Luna blushed crimson, ducking her head and taking another couple of sips of her soup to try and calm her nerves, before nearly choking on her water as she took a huge gulp of it. Why was she being embarrassed like this? All because of one remark that could have been taken flirtatiously? And why couldn't she set the record straight? Well, she couldn't really muster up the courage, or want, to sort out their current situation.

"I-I-I um, hope it won't be too far for you to uh, to travel. I-I'll text y-you the a-address of where we m-meet up before m-monday so you can um, make sure." She really hoped she wouldn't be asking too much. Hopefully they didn't live super far away from each other, or it'd really suck. "I-I can um, p-pay for your t-transport if you'd like?"

  3. Angel shook her head vigorously. "It's okay! I'll happily spend my money to come see you," she sat up a little more. "I don't know how far it is yet, but I mean, there's the subway. I haven't taken it much yet but it wasn't too bad." She'd missed most of her own flirting, that one sentence aside. "First thing I'll do is contact you when I get off and we can exchange info okay? Maybe I'll text you some IRL, too!"

She was obviously rather pleased her fantasy world and real life had a sudden bridge in the form of Luna. "Uh, you can call me Angel or Ava in the real world. Though Angel might sound like a weird nickname..." she tapped her finger on her cheek. "Eh, whichever~" she shrugged, looking pleased. "I'll probably still call you Luna, or else I'll slip up and call you by your real name in front of people here."

  4. "I-I mean the offer is there! Um, i-if you decide it'll c-c-cost too much to make it there..." She almost folded inwards at how passionate Angel seemed to be about their planned IRL meet up, though she had to at least attempt to stand her ground in this scenario! It did make her happy that the girl was so excited to meet her though. Nobody had ever been excited to meet her before! It was actually a really nice feeling to be having, that somebody she'd met online was genuinely excited to meet her in real life.

As for the conundrum of what to call Angel in real life, that was actually a little more challenging in real life. The name Angel carried with it some pretty heavy connotations when used between two people as a nickname. Here it was okay, because she was actually called Angel. In the real world though. "I-I-I think I'll t-try to call you Angel....unless p-p-people look at us weird for it."

  5. "Sounds good!" Angel wasn't going to argue either point. It wasn't like her dad would even be around enough to ask why she was being called Angel, and New York so far had seemed exceptionally good at ignoring everyone around them when they wanted. Which, in this case... was probably okay.

Her spoon clinked as it hit her empty bowl and she looked down with an odd expression, confused. She didn't remember eating all of that while she was talking! Had she been that distracted? "Oh, uh, I guess I'm done with dinner. VR dinner." She couldn't help but giggle yet again, amused at the weird inconsistencies in life a game made to so perfectly mimic life made. She spun to face her friend. "So I guess we should log off now so we can get real food and text each other, huh?"

  6. She smiled at how easily Angel had accepted both of her decisions, at least somebody knew what they wanted to do and knew how to do it without any real trouble. With a small clink, her own spoon hit her empty bowl and she almost felt disappointed at how quickly she'd managed to demolish her meal, though it also left her wondering if eating in VR would leave her feeling full when she logged off or if she'd be hungry and be able to actually eat her own dinner IRL?

Though now that it was time to log out, she couldn't help but feel a little upset that their time together was over for now. She frowned, before her face settled into a sad smile instead. Angel wouldn't want to see her frowning, would she? She gulped, pulling Angel into a hug that ended almost as soon as it began. That was a nice hug, right? Or were they supposed to last longer. "Y-y-y-yeah, I um, I suppose w-we should be logging off n-now. I-i-it was nice s-s-seeing you again, Angel..."

She shuffled, grabbing her glass and finishing the rest of the water in it, looking around for something to occupy her mind real quick. She never was any good at saying goodbye to people she liked. Nobody was, she liked to think. She coughed, before turning back to Angel with a slightly happier smile. "I-I-I'll text you when I-I um, g-g-get out. A-a-and send you a p-picture of me so you k-know what I um, look like..."

  7. "Meep!" Angel actually said the word 'meep' as she was pulled into a sudden hug, which she of course returned after about one second of initial shock that Luna had hugged her. Yeah it was going too long. It was probably awkward. But meh, she liked hugs. Why wouldn't she like a long one from a cute girl?

Once Luna finally did let go, Angel's cheeks were tinged with pink; she'd been enjoying having someone else hug her, not to mention the fact it had lasted so long. "Of course it was great seeing you. Like, you, not like, you as in in a hot spring." She started giggling self-consciously, obviously from feeling like she'd screwed that up if Luna picked up well on social cues. "Both were nice, but uh what I mean is..." she hopped up from her chair. "Thanks for fixing my hair after I screwed it up! and no worries, I'm totally going to be sending you more messages now that I have your phone number~"

She had less of a problem saying goodbye right that moment. Mostly because they'd be talking as their real selves even if it wasn't in person. It felt kinda special, honestly. "Want to log off at the same time? That way neither of us actually has to say bye!"

  8. Angel actually saying the word 'meep' had to be one of the cutest things that Luna had ever heard in her entire life, so much so that it made her actually break out into a small giggling fit, though she definitely didn't mean to giggle at the girl in a rude way and quickly smothered them until her fit died down. She was actually somewhat surprised that she'd had the initiative to actually initiate a hug of all things, though it didn't exactly feel horrible, in fact it was actually quite the nice feeling to be the one to initiate it and control how long she let it go on for before letting go.

And then Angel mentioned the whole hot springs thing, causing Luna to blush a deep pink, nodding slightly as she looked down. As ashamed as she was to admit it, that was a sight that she was going to remember for the rest of her life and absolutely nothing could rob her of it. She absolutely wouldn't admit it to anybody, but seeing another girl without any clothes in the way was something she was actually proud of being able to do, especially since she'd managed to keep herself from fainting! Today had been a good day!

As for logging off at the same time, she nodded and smiled to the girl, the closest thing to a grin that she'd ever shown to anybody in years. She opened her menu and got to the button that let her log out, waiting for Angel to have it open before smiling. "O-okay! 3! 2! 1! Press!" She smiled, before pressing the button, her last sight being Angel's face as the world went white.
