  1. "Keep your face always toward the sunshine
and shadows will fall behind you."
    -Walt Whitman

The air that morning had been crisp and cold. The clouds had deposited a fresh batch of snow that very night, which made Emilia quite pleased. Today was a day full of positive thoughts, it was the exact day that her and Ray would be spending time together playing in the snow. An event that they had planned the day before. That very night, Emilia had gotten in as much playing time in Terrasphere as she could get, in order to give her whole day to Ray. Not really minding enough to want to send over the game file till after her meetings had ended, that was where Emilia seemed to be stuck. In millions of meetings right after each other. This is what I get for not working for three days straight.. She hated the perilous meetings, so she would oftentimes ignore them, and have fun. Then she would have to make it up on a day like today. She was just glad she had someone to directly hang out with after they were over.

Emilia was splurged away from her thoughts when she was directly asked a question. They were most likely asking her what she was going to do next. Not wanting to directly talk about the hologram ideas she was working on, Emilia stood to her feet. "Let me just say. That what my company is working on will change the world for the better. We will make a comeback once again, for the third time. This time it will be under my lead, not my father's lead. We will gain numerous amounts of money, and you all will benefit greatly from our partnership. All we need is your cooperation." Nodding her head, Emilia sat back down as they worked out the rest of the meeting.

Time Skip To After All The Meetings Are Done

Emilia stretched in her seat as soon as the meetings were finished. Sending a quick text to Ray telling him she would be over shortly, she went up to her room. Shit.. I never sent the email with Terrasphere. Quickly pulling open Ray's contact information, Emilia tapped on his email.. RayvilZelrius.... Zelrius... As in... No. Fucking. Way. It was at this that Emilia's head began to spin. What the hell.

Charging downstairs and into the cab, Emilia told the driver Ray's address. She would confront him about this.. Do not make it seem suspicious. Letting out a few breaths, Emilia returned to her normal self, and upon her arrival she skipped up to the door and rung the doorbell.

    @Zelrius

  2. Zelrius sat at his kitchen table, the one that he had for so many years hung out at when he was bored, or stressed, or worried about something. In this particular case, it wasn't any of the above, he was simply munching on one of those health nutrigrain bar things, a sort of snack to help him keep his energy up, an imaginary meter being filled in his head. And that meter, though in game, was the reason he was out right now, remembering that his need for that precious energy was just as important in and out of game, and just as limiting in terms of things that can be done in the whole day.

And just as he finished his small snack, moving back to his room in order to jump into that fancy new dive gear Emilia had given him, the doorbell rang. That caused a slight grumble from the man as he would have rathered immersed himself back into the ever more beautiful graphics and realism of Terrasphere. And for a moment, he was going to, willing to just let it ring and let the person get bored or cold or whatever, and let it go. Though as he walked from the Kitchen to the hallway connecting to his room, Rayvil caught a glimpse of a Taxi outside, causing an eyebrow to raise as no one taxi'd to someone's house at random. Not with how expensive it was. That was, unless you had the money to do it. Only the Roberts have that kind of money and time. He thought to himself jokingly; a common comedic point among people in Boston.

Though as he reached his bedroom door, it dawned on Rayvil that that surname might be the exact one belonging to the person outside of his house. He spun around and headed down the stairs as quickly as possible, swinging the door open shakily and now face to face with the business-beauty queen of Boston. "I-ehm, eh. Hello!" Being as awkward as ever, he had no idea why she was here, completely forgetting that they were supposed to hang out for the second day in a row.

  3. The small giggle that escaped Emilia's own lips sounded as if a bell were being lightly rung. Taking Ray's own reaction to her own presence seemed as if he had not known that she was coming over. "Haha, did you forget we were going to play in the snow today?" For the day, Ilya was wearing rather modern clothes that normal people wore. She had on black jeans which were neatly wrapped at the ankles by a cute pair of fluffy boots. She had on a rather beige jacket that was buttoned up, a violet scarf wrapped around her neck. Her hair was down, with the usual hair style.

The silver hair was braided and topped off with a silver rose, with a violet ribbon cascading down her hair. If one were to take her jacket off, her long sleeved violet shirt would peak through.

"So... Ready to play in the snow? Or shall I come in so you can get ready?" Her eyes scanned over Ray's body. He was wearing bum clothes... At least that is what she thought of it. "If you wear that you will be way too cold." She let herself in, nudging past Ray.

You will just need to bring up the whole Zelrius thing later.. Were Emilia's thoughts as she took in the way the apartment looked.

  4. He did forget, but no way was he going to admit that, the feeling of shame and guilt rising in him once more. An effect that Emilia seemed to often have on him, or well, just people in general. Though Emilia especially, probably because he actually enjoyed her company as a person, and was always afraid that little things like that would muck it up. Another thing that he was self-conscious about; his pajamas not exactly being the fanciest or cleanest as he stood in the doorway, a checkered pattern stretching from the collar of his shirt to the seams of his pajama bottoms. It was pretty much what he wore all the time, only changing when he needed to act as though he had gone outside for the day to avoid the relentless stream of bullshit his parents spewed his way.

He watched as she edged her way in, not really able to answer her question right away or rude enough to keep her out, though he wondered if the plan was to play here, or back at her place. Either or was fine with him, just Rayvil preferred to know these things. "Yea, I am about as ready as I can be." He didn't pay second mind to her comments about being cold, knowing full well that these pajamas would probably be the warmest thing he owned, save if he put on a jacket or something.

"Wanna do it here or head over to your Manor? The uh, wall, might be better. Yknow, people seeing two grown adults play in the snow in a neighborhood like this would catch some attention, and i'd never hear the end of it."

  5. Looking Ray up and down she laughed to herself, "At least put on a jacket..." Now fulling in the apartment she began to explore the first room, "You should give me a tour of your place before we start the fun together.." Her voices were spoken to Ray, as of whom she had stayed in the company of. Taking note of the warmness of the apartment and the cool air that was blowing through the door, Emilia walked over to the door, shut it and continued to walk about the apartment.

"I was thinking we would actually do it here.. Or in the park close by. I oftentimes get stuck around at my manor and I need a change of scenery.." Her own body was now facing towards Ray as she spoke, looking him in the eyes. "But if you are that worried about the attention those people might give us.. Then I suppose my place would work..." At this, Emilia twiddled with her fingers, not knowing how to react to something as silly as this.

  6. He looked himself down, and then nodded, keeping his eyes on the floor. "Eh, Yes ma'am." He decided that he'd actually change out entirely, deciding that it probably wasn't proper to be dressed like a bum and be seen with someone like Emilia. Not only does she probably care about that, but if the Press caught word of her hanging out with less than savory people, she'd probably never heard the end of it. "Oh of course!" First he'd give her the tour, and then he'd change.

He gestured to the room they were in. "This is the living room, my parents don't like me being in here much, on the account that me and my friends used to make a royal mess whenever we were in this room. Which is fine, I guess." He muttered the final part, pointing to the open area between the kitchen and the living room, carpet melting away to hardwood flooring, separated by a plastic gold strip along the ground. Then he pointed down the hallway that was on their left. "Two doors on the right, one on the left. The left door is the Master bedroom, its where my parents sleep." And now he grew red, realizing he had admitted to still living at home with his mommy and daddy. How embarrassing. "And uh, on the right at the end of the hall is my room. The one before that, if you need to go while we're here, is the restroom."

He spun around to her, watching her fingers only for a moment before looking away, not really wanting to do it here, but deciding it'd be rude to always hang out at her place. "I uh, no I don't mind. We can do it here..."

  7. "It is not that you seemingly look like a bum. It rather enhances your eyes.. You look rather comfortable. I was just saying to perhaps put on a jacket to make sure you are extra warm.." Emilia never batted an eyelash. The footsteps seeming to appear frantic as Ray began to give the tour. Listening to him, her eyes lighted up with humor.

"You still live with your parents? You must be happy that they are still around..." Her fingers found their way to a picture set on a shelf in the living room. A picture of Ray. "What is this from? You seem so.. proud?" Staring longer at the picture before looking at Ray for an answer.

The own small, lifeless tour that Ray gave Emilia caused her to grin, as she took a step towards the bedrooms. Her eyes looking towards Ray's room. "What is your room like?" Knowing full-well that it was ill mannered to enter somebody's room without their permission she stopped her steps. Rather turning back to Ray. Her right hand flew to her forehead as she stood tall. Yet, she still remained shorter than Ray. "Permission to enter your room, Sir?" She seemed to have a salute as her palm was pointed downward, her fingers parallel to her forehead, while the edge of her pointer finger lightly pressed against it.

  8. "I eh, uh. Thank you..." Was all he could manage to say in response to her comments. Though he repeated the thank you again, making sure to thank her for both the compliment, and her concern to how warm he was outside. Normally, the cold didn't bother him much, but the golden haired man supposed that he'd rather not get sick from a snowball fight, especially not if it could be blamed on this. Emilia would probably slap him if that happened.

"I didn't once... but it was just easier and cheaper.." He started though looking to her he processed the last part of her comment, realizing that living with your parents wasn't such a bad thing once you considered the fact that someone might not have theirs around. At his glance to her from the Tour she was eyeing a picture of him from his highschool graduation ceremony; the Rayvil in that picture was a lot happier, more confident, and dreamed of bigger things. "Mhm." Was his short response moving over and then pressing it so that the picture faced down, concealing the contents.

He watched as she bound from one place in the building to another, going from that shelf to the hallway, causing Rayvil to apprehensively follow her a few paces back, really hoping she wouldn't open his parents' room, knowing the shit storm that'd cause if one of them came back and saw that. No, even worse; she went to his room, though his nervousness was broken by the army salute and stature. He gave a very airy chuckle, gesturing for her to enter.

Inside was a simple bed, a desk in the far right corner stacked high with various game consoles and a computer tower. A Three monitor setup, though the monitors were dusty and dark, as if they hadn't been turned on in ages. On the bed sat the Full-Dive gear that Emilia herself had gifted him, plugged into the wall with two cords; one being a LAN cable, the other the Charging cable. The gear indicated that it was on, and a game was initialized on it, something Rayvil rushed over to see if he could get to turn off before she noticed.
