  1. What was, at first, supposed to be a Pokemon battle to be turned into some sort of Digimon fight was now, suddenly, a dance. The girl had a hate-love relationship with dancing. She liked it a lot but at the same time, any kind of professional teaching had to be something elegant and proper by her father's will.

Tango, or whatever, wasn't something Seigi was used to as Cain suddenly started to go wild. Thanks to his leadership and her natural more physical build, however, things went smoothly; and what mattered most was the small detective girl enjoying herself. Giggling and laughing as if she forgot they were in a theatrical play in the first place. Or maybe it was just all part of her ploy. A dance between two supposed-to-be lovers. A moment to share for all undead eternity.

Nonetheless, by the time Cain and Seigi were finished, it was now on Alpha to stand up to them. It was two against one... and a half. The undead detective his/her aide versus the evil mastermind who finally decided to stop the charade and its pet... dog. ... Good thing there were no laws against animal abusement?

Seigi herself hadn't been that different from the dog in terms of the lead but was still better than the poor, poor animal! Nonetheless, the undead detective couldn't deny that Alphabet's dance had a certain charm and the kung-fu girl was captivated enough that she didn't even realize it was over by the time Alphabet ran away.

"TEDDYSNUGGLERS!" Sherdock cried out, instead of cursing, to keep the show relatively family friendly. "What a villainous act of villainy to proclaim oneself the victor before simply disappearing without giving one a chance of retort!" Clearly, only the most wicked of people were capable of such vile acts!

"I, Sherdock Bones, shall leave no tombstone unturned. No crypt unpillaged. Until I find this wicked evil-doer and deliver Justice! DO YOU HEAR ME, LAMES?" Seigi cried out. "You may be able to run, but you can not hide." The detective declared war before addressing her... his... aide.

"My dear Arine. As much as it pains my unbeating heart, I can not rest knowing that this evildoer is still walking this unholy ground on free, rotten, foot. I know it will be dangerous. I know it will be difficult. But, if we talk together, side by side. We can overcome anything."

This was about to be the nearly the end of this play, no? So it needed some sort of message or something! Seigi started to blush a little bit as she put her fist into the air. "BECAUSE LOVE IS THE STRONGEST POWER AND SHALL NEVER BE DEFEATED." What was this whole plot even about anymore?

  2. In the real world, perhaps Cain would have felt some concern over the duress that the poor wolf dog was put under. But this wasn’t the real world. This was improvised stage acting, and this was hilarious! From the twerking to the jumps to the TOSSING HECTOR THREE STORIES UP UNTIL HIS FURRY HEAD ALMOST SCRAPED THE CEILING, it looked like Lames Joriarty was truly a heinous dance fiend, his dynamic moves unmatched even by the combined physicality of Arine and Sherdock. But even with that defeat, there was no way in hell Arine would ever recognize it as a loss.

“Defeated us in dance? Laughable, Lames!” The fine lady chortled, turning on her ojou sama disdain to its peak. “Admit it, you lost on all three counts, and now you seek solely to run away with your tailbone tucked between your legs like the mongrel you are! A true victor would not retreat, and it is for that reason that WE stand here together!”

As she took a breath to allow Sherdock his own parting words, the midnight haired lady was surprised at just how high quality Sherdock could be when the great detective was allowed to spiel on and on about hardcore justice. Nice indeed. Out of the view of the audience, Arine gave the shorter mystery solver a slap on the back at just how sweet his declaration was, before smiling, raising her own fist into the sky as the spotlight turned to them, the background fading into darkness. In that moment, her expression was one of fierce passion and dedication to the cause, infinitely beautiful and divinely strong.

That fist pressed against Sherdock’s, fingers clasping together as she held his hand in her’s, and, in that moment, the curtains fell.

There was no applause, no encore.

The sole three actors in the Great Carbuncle didn’t even show up again for a bow.

BUT IT WAS OVER. SO EVERYTHING WAS GREAT AND AWESOME.
