Ashnor released a sigh, "Ah, well I'd quite prefer that over the other option, to be perfectly honest. And I'm honored to know that you will only be using my services." Ashnor does a small bow before straightening back up and continuing, "I wont be able to help you much for now, but once I've acquired a place to do my craft, I'll be sure to inform you." Ashnor makes a very fake gesture of surprise at Ilya telling him to talk instead. "Oh, is it my turn now?" He returns to standing normally, and looks out at the land. The last few drops of rain falling to the ground. "So, will I be getting my jacket back once we decide to go our own ways. Or is your dress still a bit damp from the rain? I'm fine with you keeping it for a while, as long as you return it later." Ashnor turns his head slightly in her direction, his blue eyes watching her as he asks the question.
Ilya's eyes glanced at Ashnor's. Her face remaining the same normal color, her expression as a "resting bitch face" if it were to be described. "I plan on returning it, no need to worry. Though I fear it still might be a mighty bit damp.. Perhaps we should head over to Honeyhome together so I may buy a cloak of my own before returning your jacket?" Her own invitation extended out, as she tapped away. The 'friend' request pop up, undoubtedly showing up as she sent Ashnor a friend request, "And yes, I would mightily appreciate the notification once you open up your own shop." The very fact that he had offered, meant one thing in Ilya's mind.. He does not necessarily despise me...
Ashnor nods at Ilya's suggestion "That sounds like a fine idea to me." Stepping out from the tree's shielding leaves, Ashnor extends his hand out into the air. Seeing as he felt only one or two drops hit his hand, he continued with, "I think we can head out now, and drops of rain that hit us now wont do much." He turns back to Ilya, grinning, and prompts her to come out from under the tree and see for herself the state of the weather. Seeing the notification for the friend request appear on his HUD, Ashnor closes and opens his left hand. The palm menu appears above it, and he quickly uses his right to tap to circular buttons, until the request was accepted. This no doubt had sent a notification to Ilya, telling her the request was accepted. "You should expect to receive a message of some sort, perhaps I'll snail mail." Ashnor chuckles at his own humor. "Now, with that out of the way, lefts get going." Ashnor walks slowly, waving for Ilya to join him.
Watching with unblinking eyes, as Ashnor reached a hand to feel the rain. Knowing without a doubt that it had indeed rather stopped, Ilya laughed inside before stepping out, following in Ashnor's pursuit. "I know of this one NPC, I should be able to place an order and go back to receive it later. He is the one who made my festival clothes, back when the Dark Harvest was open." Glancing sideways at Ashnor she watched for his reaction. "So, how are you doing?" Small talk. Something Ilya was good at. The sight of Ashnor fiddling with buttons, let Ilya know he would accept her friend request. The small [13] Changed into [14] as she received the alert that Ashnor had accepted her friend request. All she had read the basis of, yet had not tapped to view more, as to clear the small red number in the corner of her vision. A number that no one but her could see. Ilya stretched lightly, letting the small rays of the sun touch her arms before they fell back to her sides.
He laughs "Oh, you know. other than happening upon a scantily clad cat girl during a rain storm, pretty good honestly. I've met quite a few players." Ashnor's hand moves the back of his head as he scratches it. "Although, I haven met any male players yet, just you girls. Pretty weird, don't you think." He turns to Ilya, "How are you?" Ashnor continues down the gentle slope away from the forest edge, heading towards the well trodden path. stopping once he reaches the path. He then gestures around, spinning a few times. "Um, do you remember which way Honeyhome is? I believe I got a bit turned around in the storm." Ashnor stops his turning facing Ilya, smiling as he awaits what she has to say. He looked up at the sun, it seemed brighter since after the storm.
"Haha, well I have actually met quite a few male characters.." Lifting her arms in a shrug, Ilya laughed lightly. "I am doing quite well actually. I was not expecting to see anyone in the rain storm.. Buut.. I am glad it was you. You seem nice enough." Walking side by side, Ilya knew she was more out of the way of Ashnor. In such a manner that it would take effort to see her somewhat dry dress. Nodding her head, Ilya pointed to the left of the path they had arrived at. "That way.. For one so knowledgeable, to forget where they are and what is around them? It is unheard of!" Ilya lifted a hand to her forehead to pretend 'faint'.. Entirely joking around with Ashnor, as a sort of comedic relief, Ilya started to walk towards the way she pointed.
"Hmm. Well it seems our positions are reversed in that case. Though, we probably have met some common people." thinking for a moment, Ashnor recalls the names of the few people he's met so far. "Actually, other than you, I've only met 3 other people. There were 2 humans, Luna and Angel that i met, and a Yladian named Solaria." Turning his green topped head towards her, he continues. "Do any of those names sound familiar?" Ashnor can't help but laugh at her response, his face grinning wide. "Oh, woe is me! what ever will I do if I cant navigate by memory!?" he extends his arms towards the sky, shaking them in false distress. His laughter subsiding, Ashnor returns his arms to his sides and begins walking with Ilya in the direction she specified. "I have to admit. I wasn't expecting to find any one either, so I guess we were in the same boat, there. Also, I'm glad you think so, I do try." turning his head back to her tail and hair are still a bit wet. "You know, I would think you would be more opposed to being in the rain or getting wet. You are a cat person after all."
"I have met Angel, yet the other two ring no bell to me.." Casting her hand to her chin, a frown appeared out of thought. "I heard a rumor about Solaria.." Thinking back on the very rumor she had heard, she shook of the feelings she was acquiring. "Y'know.. I think you and this one character named Kalyn might get along. She is super sweet." "In order to survive one MUST be able to navigate by memory! It is of utmost importance!" Feigning seriousness, Ilya folded over in laughter. Unable to contain herself. "But seriously, we have a map for a reason." Her blunt and humorous comment of the fact that they did have a map to look at left her wondering how Ashnor had survived up to this point. "Have you died in the game yet?" Ilya looked up at Ashnor now, stopping and facing him. Her eyes seemingly innocent as she asked her blunt question. "Also, as for being a cat person.. I rather adore the ocean. I do not mind water, to be honest.." Looking slyly at Ashnor she continued to talk, "i am surprised you have not asked to touch my ears yet. Almost everyone I have met has wanted to."
Hmm, rumors? Rumors are interesting he supposed. Ashnor hadn't personally heard any rumors about Solaria. "What kind of rumors are they?" He asked, wonder if they were good or bad. Seeing Ilya do what he assumed was a shiver, concern crept in his eyes, he hoped she wasn't to cold. He did feel quite cool after the rain, though he figure he could handle it. She however, was smaller than him, so the cold might be more effective on her. "Are you cold? It looked like you shivered just then. I suppose these damp clothes probably aren't the best to be wearing, especially as late in the season as it is." "I don't believe I've heard of her, what's she like, this Kayln?" Ashnor chuckled at Ilya's fit of laughter, before speaking "Well... I knew that there was a map. I've used it before, but I was just trying to not use it." at hearing Ilya's question about him dying, a confused look appeared on his face. Did he do something that would make it seem like he had died before. Remembering back to his conversation with Solaria, Ashnor recalled her talking about how the player received a death affliction when they died. Maybe it seemed like something he did was a DA."Died? No..." he paused before continuing, "That's a strange question to ask randomly." A frown appeared on his face while he thought back to when they were under the trees, Ashnor didn't really recall thinking about her ear's or tail much. there were... other things that kept him looking at her. "I suppose it didn't really come to mind at the time. It was pretty awkward back there under the tree. I suppose didn't want to intrude too much on you." Ashnor's face returned to a more neutral position before he turn his head slightly in her direction "Do you want me to touch them?"
Thinking of the rumors was a difficult feat in itself, Ilya's own memory taking shape of that of Dory from the old Disney movie that had been viral. "I believe if I can recall.. She is a green haired friendly Yladian.. Yet she tends to lean towards the impulsive side.." This one man met her and told me all about her a while back.. Swaying her arms while looking at Ashnor who was walking beside her, Ilya moved to tug on the jacket ever so lightly. "I got this, remember? I am all good! No cold with me." Knowing full well there would be no cold to reach her as her temperature icon was warmer than she was used to in the real world, Ilya continued to walk along the path. "Kalyn.. She is really sweet. She loves music.. She is a blonde with a violin! She has a really cute Irish accent and is really smart. Talented. What is Luna like?" Ilya's eyebrows raised as Ashnor admitted he was trying not to use the map that they system had generously given them. "Why not?! The map is actually really helpful." A small blush crept across Ilya's face as she realized how blunt she had been. "Erhm.. A lot of the time I like to just speak what comes to my mind. Trust me when I say in the real world I actually have a filter on this mouth of mine. The reason I asked is simple enough. It came to mind then instantly came through these lips." Ilya put a finger up and pointed at her lips as she stood watching Ashnor's reaction to everything she said and did. Thinking before speaking this time she also answered. "I have not died either. Though I wonder what it is like.. You can have heart attacks, right? Like.. depending on the type of death you have, you could easily get a heart attack in the real world.. Right? Plus the idea of Death Afflictions..." Her sentence ended right there, showing she had nothing left to say as her thoughts plunged her into her meeting with Harveste and learning everything about the game.. For exmaple, Death Afflictions. "Not necessarily. It just seems that most people I meet have always tried or asked to touch them, I was surprised you have not yet. Though I do not mind, nor would I care in the end. If you want to, then do it. If not, then don't." Glancing around as the air seemed rather clearer than before, Ilya's hair blew slightly behind her in the breeze. "Shall we continue down the path? We are pretty close now, and we can also get something to eat! Treat is on me, after all I owe you for letting me borrow your jacket!" Knowing herself, she would have accepted the offer almost immediately. Food was something that Ilya loved, and that never changed. In the game you could eat whatever, save for the fact of eating too much and getting a heart attack, there were no consequences to eating all you could eat.. Apart from being sick in game. Though that never affected the real body. That was one thing that Ilya could not get past. The fact she could eat anything she wanted without worrying about her figure. It would relieve all cravings Ilya had. Especially with the Vocation of Cooking, it made Ilya able to make things other could not. She could add flavor to so many things, and she would not burn bread rolls, or pastries. One thing that would deter Ilya is that a lot of the food she ate in the game she had never had in the real world, so she was unsure if it was actually how they tasted or just a figment of her imagination. Drawing out of her thoughts, her gaze was once again returned to Ashnor.
Ashnor mumbles to himself and chuckles a bit, "Well I suppose you could call buying that basket impulsive." Returning to a normal voice volume, he responds to Ilya, "Hmm, I suppose she might of seemed a bit impulsive, but I didn't really notice that much. It's not like impulsiveness is really a bad thing. I myself can be impulsive sometimes." While the concern left his eyes, Ashnor was still a bit skeptical. "If you say so. Just don't go get sick, OK?" Ashnor nods as he listens to the description of Kayln. "Yeah, Kayln sounds like she might be interesting. As for Luna? I didn't spend all too much time hanging out with her. I just met after she first logged in, and we walked over to Honeyhome." Thinking back to Luna, the first person he had met in-game, Ashnor continues on, "But from what I recall, she was very shy, stuttered a lot and acted quite awkwardly. Oh, and she skipped over how to open your menu, so I had to teach her that." "It is, but I want to be able to find my way around with out a map." Giving in, Ashnor sighs and activates the small mini-map that can be on his HUD. Turning to look at Ilya, he notices the blush that forms on her cheeks as she explains why she asked if he had died. "Don't worry about it, it's fine. I'm sure everyone says something like that at some point. Although, I doubt it's usually a question like that." What Ilya said reminded him of what solaria and him had talked about when they had chatted in the tavern, "Solaria said she had died before, and that you get some sort of "death affliction" which affects you based on how you died. I'm not sure about heart attacks, though, she didn't mention anything about it." At least not that he recalled, but she did say quite a bit when she explained it. "Well, if that's the case, I think I'll pass. You know, gotta be that one person who doesn't do it." Ashnor glances up at her small-ish lion ears then down at her tail, before quickly returning his gaze to her to the path in front of them. "Actually I'm not really all that hungry, I had something to eat in the town I just came from. You're welcome to get something for yourself, though." He really wasn't hungry though, and he had actually eaten some food at the previous town, he wasn't just trying to get out of eating with her. "Hmm?" Ashnor said, noticing that Ilya was looking at him, and prompted her to speak if she wanted to.
"I will try my best not to get sick." Ilya let out a hearty laugh. The conversation that the two were having, had Ilya simply nodding at everything he spoke of. She had nothing to add on until Ashnor spoke of how he was hungry. "Erhm.. I suppose... Are you wanting to split ways after you get your jacket back and I get.. or order mine?" With the walking and talking that the two were taking part in, they grew closer and closer to Honeyhome.. The sight of smoke coming from the chimneys seemed to bellow in the small distance that kept them from Honeyhome. "Hmm?" It seemed Ashnor was promoting her to talk as she thought of what she had wanted to say.. Unsure whether she would voice her opinions or not. "I suppose I wanted to ask you whether you wanted your jacket back now.. It is rather quite cold out, and my dress is practically dry now.." Her white dress (As occurring previously, her outfit has not changed yet.. But she is still golden haired, purple eyes lion) was in fact practically dry, save for the small of her back and the hem near the lower portion of her thighs.
As they walked, wind blew through the plains and past them, causing Ashnor's hair to become a bit ruffled, and he stuck a hand through it, pushing it back away from the sight of his light blue eyes. They could also see the different currents from the way it blew the grass and smoke that emanated from the chimneys of Honeyhome. "Yeah, that seems like a sensible idea. I mean, we've both finished what we came here to do, and there's not much else for us to do together." Ashnor hoped he didn't disappoint her too much by not sharing a meal with her. "Ahhh, OK." Thinking for a moment, Ashnor figured it wouldn't hurt to have it back, they were both pretty much dry, his clothes under the leather armor was only a bit damp in a few places. "Well I suppose that will be fine, you seem dry enough right now. And we're almost there, so it's not like you'll be out of it for long." He extended a hand in her direction, and waited until she had taken the jacket off and handed it to him, before equipping it back onto himself.
The quick movements Ilya made, seemed rather simple. She merely took off his jacket and handed it over, the item disappearing from her inventory as he took it. With a slight nod of her head, Ilya focused on the path ahead. It seemed as if they would be parting ways rather shortly.. Perhaps next time they crossed paths she would manage to be stronger and not be reliant on his jacket. The rather straight path brought the two even closer to Honeyhome.. The smoke getting closer and closer with each passing step. One step.. Two step.. Each step taking Ilya closer to where she would part ways with her newly found acquaintance. Not really sure on what to say, Ilya chose to take the rest of the path to the village in silence. Her hands clasped behind her back as she walked with a small spring in her step. Violet eyes catching every detail that they passed by. Upon arriving at the entrance, Ilya held up a single finger towards Ashnor as she went over to the nearest NPC. Upon greeting them and requesting what she needed the NPC lifted their own hand and pointed in a general direction. With a swift nod of her head, Ilya returned to Ashnor's side. "There is an NPC named George that does custom clothing.. That way.." Ilya pointed in the direction that the NPC had pointed. Shooting Ashnor a smile, Ilya lead the way into the building that they had been directed to.
Concluding their silent walk the rest of the walk to Honeyhome as they walk through the small town gate, Ashnor speaks up. "So what's this George person like? Is he good at his job?" Might as well fill the void of speech up with something he figured. Ashnor waits patiently where Ilya tells him as she goes up to the NPC for directions. Not that you really need directions in a small town like this, there was really only one main road that winded though the village it looked like, and almost everything was along it, except for a few small homes off of the path. Scattered along the road were little raised grassy areas for what Ashnor assumed was gardens. The flowers would be in full bloom once spring came, and he imagined that it would be quite beautiful. "I would think you would know where his shop is, seeing as how you say you've used his services before." he teased Ilya as they began to walk toward the NPC George's Shop. It wasn't like the map designated what the buildings in the towns were really, but he figured that, like he said, if she'd used his services for the a Dark Harvest costume, then she would remember where the place actually was.
